Crocheted deer on the Christmas tree diagram description. Knitted crochet toys - reindeer, description with photo

In this master class, you will learn how to crochet a Reindeer toy. Knitted toys bring warmth and comfort. That is why, I suggest you knit such a funny and very cute Deer.

To tie a toy, we need:

  • scissors, a sewing needle and a crochet hook (selected depending on the thickness of the threads);
  • Knitting. In this example, Iris 100% cotton threads are used in turquoise, red, light and dark brown colors. The choice of colors depends only on your imagination;
  • black thread or small beads for the eyes;
  • a bead or button to decorate a scarf;
  • filler: for example, holofiber or synthetic winterizer;
  • egg container "Kinder-Surprise".

In one of the master classes, I showed how to knit a toy on a frame, so that the paws and torso of the toy would bend - it was a Knitted Lion. This master class can be viewed.

And today, the toy will be without a frame, but also stable.

So let's get started. Knitting is done with single crochets. The parts will be connected into one with a sewing needle, so it is advisable to leave tails of sufficient length for this purpose on each individual part.

We knit the body of a deer

First of all, let's tie the body of our northern hero. To do this, take the container from under the chocolate egg and tie it with light brown threads as follows. We knit five air loops and close them in a circle. Continue knitting in the round with single crochets (6-7 rows) so that you get a flat circle equal in diameter to the diameter of the container. In each row we add evenly 5-7 loops.

We knit a neck

To complete this element, we take light brown threads and knit 20 air loops, which we close in a ring. Then, with single crochets, we perform 15 rows, we do not add loops. We do not tighten the loops on the last row of knitting.

We knit the head

It is performed by analogy with the body, but at the same time, the number of circular rows connected without adding / decreasing loops is reduced to 10. A filler will be placed inside the head.

We knit paws

All 4 paws of the reindeer are the same size. We knit them as follows: we close 13 air loops from light brown threads into a ring. Then we perform 10 rows in a circle with single crochets without adding loops.

We continue knitting with dark brown threads. In the first and second rows (circles) of dark brown threads, we add evenly 7-8 loops, we knit the next 2 rows without additions, and then - 3 rows with a uniform decrease of 7-8 loops in each. We tighten the remaining loops and fasten the thread.

We knit deer antlers
We take a dark brown thread and collect 8-9 air loops. Then we knit 10 rows in a circle. In the next three rows, we perform a uniform decrease, we tighten the remaining loops and fasten the thread. Branches for horns are knitted similarly. In this example, each horn has one branch. They can be made more magnificent by linking 2-3 branches for each horn.

Knitting a small scarf
The deer scarf is knitted with turquoise threads. We will knit 9-10 air loops (scarf width), after which we will perform 40-50 rows with single crochets (scarf length).
After the main parts of the toy are ready, we fill them with synthetic winterizer (or any other filler) and connect them.

When the toy is assembled, it remains to knit the ears and tail, shape the muzzle and tie the neck of the deer with a scarf, fixing a bead on it.

Tips for choosing materials
When choosing materials, do not forget that a small child will play with this knitted toy. This means that the materials for the deer must be absolutely safe, and small details must be firmly sewn on.

There can be several final options for using a knitted toy. If you attach a handle to a deer, it can become the first rattle for a baby. For an older child - one of the heroes of the home puppet theater.

In order for the toy to ring, before knitting, 5-6 grains of rice, small beads or bean grains must be placed in the container from under the Kinder Surprise. The finer the grains, the more melodic the rattle will sound.

P.S. In addition to this deer, you can knit a cute Bear for your child. You can see a master class on how to crochet a bear.

I wish you a little perseverance and patience. And such funny toys will also settle in your house.

I wish you creative success!

Everything, the Christmas deer is ready.

How to create a magical New Year's atmosphere in the house? Sometimes it's not enough just to decorate the tree. I would like to add cute cozy details to the interior that enhance the feeling of a holiday. And such a detail can be an interior toy. Let's let's tie new year's deer crochet! If you choose a sufficiently voluminous and thick yarn, then the toy will turn out to be of impressive size. I knitted from "Iris", so my deer came out small - about 10 cm sitting. Such a deer can be planted under the Christmas tree or presented to loved ones as a gift. So, let's begin!

Tools and materials for knitting:

  • Yarn "Iris" (or any other) 5 colors: red, green, white, dark brown and beige.
  • Hook number 1.5.
  • Filler (synthetic winterizer, cotton wool)
  • 2 small black beads.
  • Heart-shaped button (or any other to your taste).
  • Knitting a deer head.

We begin to knit the head of a deer with white yarn.

1 row: We collect 2 air loops (hereinafter - ch) and we knit 6 columns without a crochet (sc) into the second loop from the hook (a total of 6 loops are obtained in a row).

2 row:* increase * - 6 times (12). What is placed between the stars, we knit the specified number of times.

    3 row:* increase, 1 sc * - repeat 6 times (18).

    4 row:

    5 row:

    6 row:

    7 row:* increase, 5 sc * - 6 times (42).

    8 row:* increase, 6 sc * - 6 times (48).

    9 row:*increase, 7 sbn* - 6 times (54).

    10-16 rows: 54 sc.

    17 row:

    19-20 rows: 48 sc.

    21 row:

    22 row: 42 sc.

    23 row:

    24-27 rows: 36 sc.

    28 row:

    29-30 rows: 30 sb.

    31 row:

    32 row:

We fill the head with synthetic winterizer.

    33 row:

34 row: decrease until the hole is completely closed.

    Nose knitting.

For knitting the nose of a deer, we will use red yarn.

1-4 rows: cm. deer head knitting(that is, we simply knit the first 4 rows from the description of knitting the head).

5-6 rows: 24 sb. We knit the connecting column into the last loop, we complete the knitting of the part.

    Body knitting.

1-9 rows: cm. deer head knitting .

    10 row:* increase, 8 sc * - 6 times (60).

    11 row:*increase, 9 sbn* - 6 times (66).

    12-17 rows: 66 sc.

    18 row:* decrease, 9 sc * - 6 times (60).

    19 row: 60 sc.

    20 row:* decrease, 8 sbn * - 6 times (54).

    21-22 rows: 54 sc.

    23 row:* decrease, 7 sbn * - 6 times (48).

    24-26 rows: 48 sc.

    27 row:* decrease, 6 sc * - 6 times (42).

    28 row: 42 sc.

    29 row:* decrease, 5 sc * - 6 times (36).

    30 row: 36 sc.

    31 row:* decrease, 4 sc * - 6 times (30).

    32-34 rows: 30 sb.

We begin to stuff the lower part of the body.

    35 row:* decrease, 3 sc * - 6 times (24).

    36 row: 24 sb.

    37 row:* decrease, 2 sc * - 6 times (18).

Stuff the top, but not too tight. Otherwise, after you sew the deer's head to the body, it will stick up.

    Horns (2 parts).

1 horn consists of two parts: one large base horn and a small one, which is sewn to the large one. We knit horns from dark brown yarn.

Knitting a large (long) horn (2 parts).

1 row: Ch 2, 7 sb in the second loop from the hook (7).

    2 row:* increase * - repeat 7 times (14).

    3-20 rows: 14 sb.

    Small horns (2 parts).

We begin to knit small horns in the same way as large ones, but do not make them too long. After the second row, it is enough to knit 5 more rows.

    Ears (2 parts).

    We knit with beige yarn.

    1 row:

    2 row:* increase * - 6 times (12).

    3 row:

    4 row:* increase, 2 sc * - 6 times (24).

    5-6 rows: 24 sb.

    7 row:* decrease, 2 sc * - 6 times (18).

    8 row:* decrease, 1 sc * - 6 times (12).

    9 row: 12 sb.

Flatten the ear with your fingers. We do not stuff this detail.

    Knitting handles (2 parts).

We start knitting with white yarn.

1 row: Ch 2, 6 sb in the second loop from the hook (6).

    2 row:* increase * - 6 times (12).

    3 row:* increase, 1 sc * - 6 times (18).

    4 row:* increase, 2 sc * - 6 times (24).

    5 row:* increase, 3 sc * - 6 times (30).

    6-7 rows: 30 sb.

    8 row:* decrease, 3 sc * - 6 times (24).

    9-10 rows: 24 sb.

    11 row:* decrease, 2 sc * - 6 times (18).

    12 row: 18 sb.

    13 row:* 4 sc, decrease * - 3 times (15).

Next, we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row, alternating the colors of the yarn. Knit 2 rows with each color. You can see my sequence of colors in the photo. Thus, we knit another 17 rows (that is, we get a total of 30). Starting from the 31st row, we will knit decreases, closing the hole. But before that, do not forget to fill the pen.

    Knitting legs (2 parts).

We start knitting with red yarn.

    1-5 rows: see knitting handles.

    6 row:* increase, 4 sc * - 6 times (36).

    7-8 rows: 36 sc.

    9 row:* decrease, 4 sc * - 6 times (30).

    10-11 rows: 30 sb.

    12 row:* decrease, 3 sc * - 6 times (24).

    13 row: 24 sb.

    14 row:* decrease, 2 sc * - 6 times (18).

    15 row:* 7 sc, decrease * - 2 times (16).

    16 row: 16 sb.

In the same way as we knitted the handles, we knit 1 sc in each loop of the previous row, alternating the colors of the yarn. We knit another 17 rows. Next, we begin to knit decreases, close the hole.

    Knitting a deer tail.

The tail is knitted with beige yarn.

1 row: Ch 2, 6 sb in the second loop from the hook (6).

    2 row:* increase, 1 sc * - repeat 3 times (9).

    3 row:* increase, 2 sc * - repeat 3 times (12).

    4-5 rows: 12 sb.

    6 row:* increase, 3 sc * - 3 times (15).

7 row: 15 sbn, connecting column in the last loop. We complete the knitting of the part, we hide the "tail" of the yarn inside.

We start collecting a knitted toy with the design of the muzzle, that is, in this case, we must sew eyes, horns, ears and a nose, and only after that we can sew the head to the body. Why exactly? Everything is very simple: it is better to bring out all the threads with which we will sew the details in the place where we will then sew the body. Thus, all the ends of the threads will be hidden, and the toy will be neat.

For the same reason, we first embroider a black stripe on the muzzle, and hide the knots under the nose. This can be seen in the photo:

We sew the tail at the very last turn after the legs are sewn. It is necessary to determine the correct position of the tail so that the deer sits upright and does not collapse.

Best regards for your creativity, Jeiana Johansen

Deer are a very important attribute of the New Year! It is they who bring Santa or Santa Claus, and, therefore, give us a holiday! Rudolf is very serious, but certainly kind, handsome and important! I want to knit this not only for a gift, but also for myself - under the Christmas tree. Happy knitting!
