Black clay after. Black clay face mask. Black hair clay

Hello dear readers!

Today's topic will be more interesting for women. We'll talk about black clay and its cosmetic uses. Where does this material come from?

What recipes for improving the quality of hair and body skin can be adopted? The subject of our consideration will be black clay properties and applications for the face and body.

The miraculous properties of this remedy have been known for a long time. We know that we get it from the earth. But this natural material is more associated in our perception with pottery than with cosmetics.

Today we are seeing cosmetic clay bags appearing in women's cosmetics departments. It comes in different shades: white, blue, yellow and even black.

Pure clay is a rock consisting of plate-shaped mineral particles. The main composition is formed by silicon and aluminum. There is water between the particles. If the raw material contains additional substances, for example, quartz, iron, calcium and others, the material acquires the appropriate color.

Cosmetic clay is, of course, different from construction clay. It is cleaned and prepared appropriately. It is the composition of black raw materials that includes:

  • quartz;
  • calcium;
  • strontium;
  • magnesium;
  • iron.

This is also due to the properties that black clay has.

Properties

The cosmetic material is known for its unique qualities:

  • normalizes the work of the sebaceous glands, eliminates oily sheen;
  • eliminates acne;
  • removes dirt, black dots;
  • nourishes the skin well;
  • normalizes blood circulation, due to which the face acquires a blush;
  • rejuvenates, smoothes small wrinkles.

Black clay has a fairly dense consistency. Therefore, it is recommended mainly for oily skin. The most common method of using it is face masks.

Application

Facial skin treatment should be started with a mask. For the best effect, it must be properly prepared and sustained:

  • Dissolve dry raw materials with water. The resulting mass should resemble a thick cream.
  • Apply a small amount of clay to your wrist before applying to your face. If there is no allergy, the cosmetic product can be used.

  • Apply the product to the face in smooth movements, leaving the area around the eyes intact.
  • The mask will withstand for 15 minutes. No longer needed, as the clay dries up and no longer has a healing effect.
  • Rinse off the mask with warm water.
  • Apply a cream that is suitable for your skin.

The procedures should be carried out no more than 1-2 times a week. It is recommended to take a break after a couple of weeks.

The mask can be applied not only to the skin of the face, but also to problem areas of the body. Most often, these are the neck and décolleté area: wrinkles, pimples and acne are observed in these areas.

Face and body recipes

The degree and quality of the effect of the product can be varied by diversifying the recipes with additional ingredients or changing the ratio of the components:

  • Regular. The recipe is described above. To do this, it is enough to dilute the raw material with water to a thick cream and apply it on the face.
  • Moisturizing. Mix 1 tablespoon of diluted clay with a spoonful of sour cream and egg yolk.
  • For whitening. Dissolve the powder in milk, add a spoonful of sour cream and 1 teaspoon of parsley.
  • For cleansing. Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and infusion of calendula flowers. Dissolve the powder in this liquid.
  • For softening. Mix 1 tablespoon of diluted raw materials with 1 tablespoon of finely grated cucumber pulp and 1 tablespoon of seeds.

If you use these recipes periodically, you will soon be surprised how soft, fresh and silky your skin has become.

Hair recipes

Black clay is useful not only for the skin of the face and body: it can significantly improve the quality of hair. Masks are also used for this purpose. The cosmetic product removes dandruff well, fights fragility and hair loss. The product is also good for shampooing.

The principle of use is approximately the same as in the case of the mask. The raw material must be diluted with water to the desired consistency, then applied to the hair. Be careful not to get into your eyes while applying the product.

Oiled hair should be hidden under a bathing cap and kept for half an hour. Then rinse with water. Note that clay can color your hair. Blondes are better off using lighter types of clay.

If for some reason you are afraid to completely lubricate your head with clay, use a rinse aid. To make it, mix 1 tablespoon of clay powder and 2 cups of water. Rinse your hair after washing.

If you decide to wash your hair, you need to do it as follows:

  1. Prepare the remedy. Mix 3 tablespoons of raw materials, 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 4 tablespoons of water.
  2. Rub the mixture into your head, massaging for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Rinse off with water, shampoo or balm.

To make your hair less dry and brittle, the following mask will work:

  • 3 tablespoons of clay;
  • 1 glass of milk;
  • 2 tablespoons of honey;
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 3 drops of oily vitamins E and A.

Leave the mask on the head for half an hour.

Properties and benefits of black clay for the face

Black clay can be called a universal remedy, since it is used in cosmetology not only in the care of any type of skin, but also in body care (anti-cellulite wraps) and hair. Black clay saves from various misfortunes: acne or acne, wrinkles, flaccidity of the skin, chapped face, etc. Its beneficial properties are due to the most valuable mineral composition, in which there are many trace elements such as strontium, calcium, quartz, magnesium, iron, carbon, which have a stimulating effect on the metabolic processes taking place inside cells.

As a result of the interaction of black clay with skin cells, there is an active exfoliation of dead skin particles, deep cleansing of pores from accumulated impurities, slags and toxins, saturation and nutrition of the skin with the necessary substances, as well as its general rejuvenation. Clay has a drying effect and the ability to regulate the processes of sebum secretion, as a result oily sheen is eliminated, pores are narrowed, the skin becomes matte, the complexion improves, and with regular use, acne and inflammation disappear.

Cosmetologists usually recommend this type of clay as masks and peels for oily and acne prone skin, but with the right combination of ingredients (for example, with milk, yolk, sour cream, cottage cheese), it can be used even for dry and sensitive skin. In general, the effect of black clay on the skin is not unambiguous, everything is individual and depends on the specific characteristics of the skin. The product does not cause allergies, but in combination with other components, it is recommended to test the sensitivity of the skin on the inside of the wrist before use.

In addition to masks, clay is good to use for a cleansing massage against blackheads.

  • After the end of the procedure, try not to show any special activity of facial muscles for an hour in order to maintain the achieved smoothing effect.

To achieve a noticeable effect, use masks with the addition of clay powder according to the following scheme:
