When filled with a lot of filler, the yarn will stretch and the legs of the toys may change in size.

2. Do not use the amigurumi magic ring at the beginning of knitting.
It is better to knit 2 air loops, and in the 2nd air loop already knit the required number of stitches. Then pull the loops a little and, due to the fluffiness, the hole will not be noticeable.
It is better not to use the amigurumi magic ring, because you simply cannot tighten it. If you pull on the thread, then all the pile from the thread flies off and only the base remains, which is easily torn (:

3. Most of the toys are already knitted in a spiral, but this is a must for Dolce. Do not knit lifting loops.

4. The yarn tolerates washing well and does not change its appearance.
After washing and playing, the yarn does not change externally. You can wash both in the machine at 30C (preferably in a washing bag), and by hand. After drying Dolce (dries for a long time), it is enough to fluff it up with your hands or with a soft brush, and the yarn will take its original form.

5. Try to knit without mistakes, the yarn should not be unraveled.
At the first dissolution, the pile climbs a little. If you dissolve it again, then the pieces of yarn will already get enough sleep.
It is believed that Dolphin Baby Himalaya yarn (analogue of Dolce) deteriorates already at the first dissolution.

6. The fabric should be tight, without gaps, but the hook should move smoothly during knitting. A hook that is too thin can ruin the thread and cause the pile to creep.

7. When sewing parts, such as the head and body, follow the rule - try on seven times, sew one. Fix the part with pins often, every 0.5-1 cm. Otherwise, there is a possibility that the part will "creep". It will not be possible to repulse it painlessly.

8. Stuff the toy gently, but not loosely. Excessive filler will stretch the knitted fabric, and gaps will appear. Make sure that the part takes the desired beautiful shape, remember the part with your hands, the filler will lie smoother.

Turkish yarn. The composition is 100% polyester, but it is very soft and delicate! It resembles velvet or velor. This yarn is often called plush or velor. The yarn is quite bulky. 100 g 120 m. For knitting toys, a hook from 3.5 mm to 6 mm is suitable. I crocheted 4 mm so that the toy is dense and the filler is not visible.


First, I got acquainted with plush yarn, which is also very popular and, as it turned out, looks like two peas to this one. This counterpart is called Dolphin Baby by Himalaya. You can read my review on it. And it so happened that I did not have enough yarn to tie the hare's face, and the pink Himalaya was not available anywhere. I decided to try a very similar color at Yarnart Dolce, as they look similar and the footage is the same. When I received a skein and attached it to a loose bunny, the similarity was 1 in 1! See the photo. Difficult to distinguish. Personally, I do not see the transition. The yarn is absolutely identical. I knitted from Himalaya Dolphin Baby color no. 80303, and knitted from Yarnart Dolce color no. 750.


The only difference, it seemed to me that Yarnart Dolce is crumbling a little harder. If you pull on the end of the thread, then this is what will happen (result in the photo). Of course, other plush yarn is falling, but it seemed to me that a little less.


Generally, Yarnart Dolce is slightly more expensive. At the time of writing the review, prices for a skein are from 170 to 220 rubles. But in principle, I believe that these are two ideally interchangeable yarns. If you knit according to the description, pattern, then you can take any of them.

There are also analogs of plush yarn. These are velor from Kamtex and Kartopu yumurcak. I have not personally tested them yet, so I will not say anything about them.
