  • Hook - 2.3 mm
  • 3 buttons - 1.5 cm

Measurements:

  • chest circumference: 96cm
  • back width at the shoulders - 38 cm
  • back length - 59.5 cm
  • sleeve length - 16.5 cm

Before knitting, be sure to knit the pattern, and then calculate the number of loops from the pattern!

Back

Start knitting from the hanger. Knit the back according to the scheme A.
The arrows in the diagram show where you need to tie a new thread or tear off a working one.

The first shoulder.
For one shoulder, dial 38 loops + 3 for lifting, skip the same 3 vp, and in the fourth tie 3 CCHs (double crochet), 3 v. p. (air loops), 3 CCHs in the same loop as the first three columns, dial 6 vp, skip 8 chain loops, tie RLS (single crochet), skip 2 chain loops and tie 1 connecting loop and break the thread.

Pass 6 loops of the chain from the other end of the chain and tie a new working thread.
Tie 2 VP, skip 2 loops of the chain and tie 1 RLS, skip 8 loops of the chain and in the ninth loop tie 3ССН, 3 wp. and 3ССН in the same loop, dial 6 vp, 1ССН over the PRS of the previous row, 6 vp, tie 3ССН, 3 vp. and 3ССН over an arch of three vp. of the previous row, tie 5 vp, 1C3H (column with three crochets), tie 53 loops for the neck and connect with the loop from the second row of the second shoulder, break the thread.

Second shoulder:
cast on 32 loops of the chain + 3 vp. for lifting, tie 3ССН, 3 vp, 3ССН in the same loop, 6 ch, skip 8 loops of the chain, tie 1 SBN, skip 2 loops of the chain, 2 ch, 1 connecting with the chain. From the other end of the hanger chain, tie a working thread and 2 VP, 2 loops of the chain, tie 1 RLS, skip 8 loops of the chain, and in the next tie 3ССН, 3 wp. and 3ССН, 6 vp, 1 CCH above a column without a crochet of the previous row, 6 vp, scallop from 3ССН, 3v.p. and 3ССН over the arch of the lower scallop, 5 vp. and 1C3H (a column with three crochets) and connect with a chain for the neck, break the thread.
We return to the same second hanger, to its typesetting chain. We tie the working thread in the place where the black arrow is shown in the diagram and knit 6 vp. + 3 for lifting.

From this moment, knitting of the whole back begins according to the scheme A.
Knit straight 19 cm until the armholes are knitted.
I will not explain how to tie the armhole, in my opinion this is very clearly visible from the diagram by adding air loops on both sides. After the armholes we knit another 23 cm straight.
Then we turn to knitting basques according to the scheme B.
When knitting a 15 cm long peplum, remember to add on both sides for bevels.

Shelves

Shelves also need to start with knitting hangers.
We knit the shoulder in the same way as for the back, but only without a chain set for the neck.

Sleeves

The sleeve here is very simple, knitted in the form of a wing, so there will be no difficulties in knitting it.
Cast on 57 loops and knit according to the sleeve pattern, detail No. 4.

Assembly

Sew all the details, sew the sleeves into the armholes.
Along the edge of the shelves and the neck, perform the strapping according to the scheme.
Do not forget to make holes for buttons at a distance on the right shelf when knitting the harness, as shown in the pattern.

When knitting a jacket (if you are a beginner), you need to be able to crochet the following loops:

  • Air loops and chains of air loops, single crochet, double crochet, connecting posts.
  • In addition, you must be able to knit pico. To knit pico, knit 3 stitches, then insert the crochet into the first stitch and knit a single crochet.

Check the tightness before knitting.

To do this, knit a motif according to scheme No. 1 and a knitting pattern of a fancy pattern measuring 10 cm. If the hook and threads are chosen correctly, then the size of the motive should be 4.5 cm on each side, and in the knitting pattern of the fancy pattern 31 loops should be knitted along the length sample equal to 10 cm.

We knit the back and in front of the individual parts, the location of which is indicated on the pattern drawing.

So, when knitting the 1st and 2nd parts:

we knit 21 motives according to the scheme No. 1. We combine the motifs into a strip while knitting the 3rd row, we combine it by performing connecting posts into the arches (the detail about the combination of motives is shown in diagram no. 1).

After the motives are connected and combined into a strip, we lift 293 loops along the upper edge of the resulting strip and knit as shown in diagram No. 2. After 12 cm is tied according to scheme No. 2, we finish knitting and proceed to knitting the third part.

When knitting the 3rd part, we knit the motives, as we knitted for the first two parts. We combine 9 motives for the 3rd part with each other during knitting also with connecting posts. At the end of knitting, lift 125 stitches along the upper edge.

Now we knit the 4th and 5th parts (we knit them symmetrically):

for each of them we knit and combine with each other in the knitting process for 4 motives. At the end of knitting, we lift 55 loops along the upper edge and knit according to the pattern on the scheme No. 2. After knitting 10 cm in height from the beginning of knitting of the pattern, close 4.5 cm to cut the neckline. We knit another 2 cm and finish knitting.

To form the shoulder bevels for parts 4 and 5, we knit 4 strips, each of which consists of 3 motifs.

Knitting jacket sleeves

For each sleeve, we knit 8 motifs, as in the previous cases, we combine them into a strip, then we knit a chain of 111 air loops from the edge and knit with a pattern, as indicated in diagram No. 2, adding from each edge in each 2- m row 9 times, 1 loop. When the height is 15.5 cm from the very beginning of knitting of the sleeves, we continue to knit straight and upon reaching 20 cm from the beginning of knitting we finish knitting.

Putting together the details of the jacket

Before stitching, lay out all the parts on a flat surface, pin them with pins, moisten a little (you can use a damp terry towel, which should be put on top for 10-15 minutes). We remove the towel and wait for the parts to dry. After the parts are dry, remove the pins and sew them together according to the way indicated in the pattern drawing. When sewing the sleeves, leave the top 4.5 cm open. Sew the sleeves into the armholes, connecting and stitching the remaining 4.5 cm of the sleeves.

We tie each shelf by completing 3 rows of single crochets. At the same time, on the right shelf in the 2nd row, we make 6 holes for buttons. For each hole we knit 2 air loops, skip 2 loops of the bottom row and continue knitting further. We make the first hole, stepping back about 3 cm from the bottom edge, the second - stepping back about 1 cm from the top edge, distribute the rest of the holes evenly between the first and the second.

We tie the whole product by completing 1 row of single crochets and 1 row, alternating 3 single crochets and 1 picot. After that we sew on the buttons.
