    Cancellation of the reduced fare in public transport in the Moscow region is possible only at the request of a citizen of the Russian Federation, after providing them with an appropriate application. Such an application must be submitted to the Pension Fund of Russia no later than October 1.

    Persons who have already refused free travel and are receiving compensation for it can change their mind. The application for the restoration of the benefit is submitted within the same time frame.

    It should be borne in mind that often travel is not completely free - beneficiaries have the opportunity to purchase a pass with a large discount.
