  • New Year's games and entertainment for the family

New Year's Eve with your family is one of the most comfortable ways to celebrate. Everyone knows each other well, no one is nervous, and New Year's games and entertainment for the whole family only contribute to greater rapprochement.

    Guess the relative

One participant has their eyes closed and gloves are put on their hands. The rest of those sitting at the table approach him in turn; the participant, blindfolded, must determine which of the relatives is standing in front of him. The game is complicated by the fact that it is not so easy to recognize a loved one while wearing gloves.

    Advice!
The thicker and warmer the gloves the participant puts on, the more difficult and funnier it is to guess the relative. Players standing in front of the participant wearing gloves make faces and the game becomes more interesting.

Remember the names of the heroes

“The Irony of Fate” is a film that has become a symbol of the New Year festivities, which is why the competition is associated with it. The players take a piece of paper and a pen, and on command everyone begins to write down the names of the characters in the film. Everyone writes the names of the main characters, but the winner is the one who remembers as many names of the secondary characters as possible.

    Gift to the Sage

For this entertainment, specially purchase a white T-shirt, shirt or sweater. Everyone present writes congratulations on these clothes and always draws a New Year’s picture. The author of the most original congratulation wins, and the T-shirt is awarded to the oldest person sitting at the table.

Competitions and games for an adult company

Competitions and games are a great opportunity to get positive emotions and get to know people better in a stranger or your own company. It’s not difficult to choose competitions suitable for adults who like active entertainment, and for those who like quieter ones.

    Remade fairy tales

Participants are given a piece of paper and a pen. The task is to rewrite famous children's fairy tales in the style of official documents: minutes of a party meeting, a plan for a meeting or a medical history. The one who wrote the funniest fairy tale wins.

    Pass the cucumber

This game is good for a large company, where everyone responds responsively to humor. Participants choose one leader, around whom the rest stand in a close formation, placing their hands behind their backs. The players pass the cucumber to each other secretly from the host, trying to bite off a piece of it unnoticed. The presenter carefully watches everyone and catches the participant with the cucumber.

    Congratulations in the alphabet

When the guests have already drunk a little and relaxed, they are invited to make toasts in alphabetical order. Guests begin each congratulation with a specific letter. The more kind words you choose, the better. With a new toast, the wishes become more interesting and funnier.

    Games for quiet guests

There are lovers of active games, and there are calm guests who like entertainment, which they take part in at the table or while relaxing on the sofa. It is very important to take into account the interests and preferences of such people, so they have their own entertainment in store. Most often these are people of advanced age or of this type of character. By tugging at them with active competitions, there will be a reason for discomfort, both for them and for the rest of the guests.

    Fortune Cake

Before the celebration begins, the organizer cuts the paper into squares. On each one he writes a prediction. The paper is placed on a tray so that no one notices the prediction, and then the guests take turns pulling out their “piece of the pie.”

    On a note!
If desired, the organizer prepares a real pie. Brought sweets always pleases those with a sweet tooth sitting at the table. It’s convenient to write your New Year’s wish on a cardboard stand under each piece on the reverse side. Those who do not eat sweets are offered a separate bag with a wish.

    Joint toast

The game begins when it is time for toast. One of the guests makes a wish, but at some point interrupts him. The next player continues this toast and so on in a circle until it is the beginner’s turn. He finishes his toast and everyone present drinks. It will be funnier if the beginner has to summarize the wishes of all the other guests. However, if a person does not have a phenomenal memory, there is no point in insisting.

    Table competitions and games

Table entertainment is for those who have already done enough running in other competitions and now just want to relax. But no one has the desire to stop the fun that has already begun, so the competitions continue at the table.

    Who wants what?

The presenter brings each player a bag of tokens. Each one has one letter written on it. The participant pulls out the first one he comes across and quickly comes up with and pronounces out loud a word starting with a given letter. The funniest part begins when the presenter announces: “That’s how we found out who wants what for themselves next year!”

    Favorite dish

The competition starts with the one chosen by lot; it is better if it is an adult who is not very picky. Those sitting at the table take turns pricking a fork with one piece of the dish they love most. The fork reaches the participant from whom they started, and he eats everything from the fork in one go. Whoever succeeds takes the prize, and another participant starts the game.

    Guess the gift

The presenter takes out any small gift or souvenir from the bag and places it in the hands of one of the participants. With his eyes closed, he guesses what is in his hands. If within a minute he does not name his item, then the souvenir passes into the hands of the next participant. The game continues until someone guesses correctly. He gets the souvenir, and the game continues with a new gift.

New Year's games and entertainment for children

Families with children of different ages often gather around the same table. Adults are faced with the question of how to cheer them up. To do this, they come up with or select ready-made funny competitions with interesting prizes for each child.

    Find the treasure

Adults quietly slip a note to the children, which gives a hint where to go and where to look for further instructions. Children follow the instructions and find a second note with the following actions. The result is a kind of quest. Where at the very end they come to a box with candies, fruits and New Year's paraphernalia.

    On a note!
Children will get bored quickly if there are too many action notes. It’s better to make 4-5 pieces so that the guys think about the instructions, but don’t get bored. When creating assignments, be guided by the age of the children.

    Round dance

Children dance around the “Christmas tree” in the form of a blindfolded participant. Everyone sings a New Year's song, and at a certain moment the leader stops the round dance. The Christmas tree participant guesses who is standing in front of him; if the answer is correct, then the person named takes the place of the Christmas tree, and the round dance continues its way around him. The game continues until everyone plays the role of the “Christmas tree”. This will avoid resentment among other children. But there is no point in delaying the process unnecessarily, when the guys are tired, it becomes immediately obvious from them. Move on to another competition.

    Don't drop the snowflake

Participants are given a snowflake made from a piece of cotton wool. The task is to blow the snowflake upward, preventing it from falling on the floor or another surface: a table, the back of a sofa. The winner is the one whose snowflake stayed in the air the longest. He is given a balloon as a gift, which he will have to inflate with one exhalation.

    Competitions and games for schoolchildren

Organizers at the school come up with entertainment for students every year. Santa Claus is always present at the matinees and gives gifts to all the children. The only condition is participation in competitions, charades and entertainment.

    "Elements of the New Year"

The participants form a circle, and the leader - Santa Claus - approaches each one in turn. Players name one item each related to the holiday. The one who does not have time to come up with anything is eliminated, and the one who says the last word wins.

Find the symbol of the year

Santa Claus talks about the symbol of the New Year and invites schoolchildren to find all the objects with the image of this symbol. Players find items within a certain amount of time, and the one who finds the most wins.

    Faster to the finish line

Players choose a pair and go to the starting line. The task is to jump to the finish line. The pair that completes the task the fastest wins.

    On a note!
Participants in a pair jump in turns, not simultaneously. The main thing for them is to jump a greater distance, and speed plays a less important role.

Competitions and games for young people

They are coming up with other entertainment for young people. As a rule, young people are active, creative, and it is quite easy to cheer them up. Cool competitions are a good way to spend time for them.

    Two hands for two

The participant finds a mate. They hug each other around the waist with one arm and leave the other arm free. One participant is given paper in his free hand, and the other is given scissors. The pair must cut out a given figure - a snowman or a Christmas tree. The couple whose figure is recognized as the most successful wins.

    Who will drink faster

Participants are divided into teams and each is given a container with a low-alcohol or non-alcoholic drink. Be sure to choose the same containers with the same amount of liquid. Each team member takes a straw, and on command everyone begins to drink. Those whose capacity empties faster win. The main thing is not to laugh during the event, because you might choke, then there will be no time for fun.

    Character biography

Participants choose one fairy-tale hero for themselves so that no one gets the same one. Over a certain amount of time, players come up with a biography for their character. After that, they take turns telling their story, and the others guess who they are talking about. The one whose hero is revealed the longest wins.

Competitions and games for corporate events

A corporate party is a special celebration of the team, at which it is very important to maintain the right atmosphere so as not to offend or humiliate anyone. Fun competitions help colleagues feel relaxed and make everyone happy at the party.

    Build a snowman

Three people participate in the competition. Each person is given three balls, adhesive tape, and a felt-tip pen. Players make a snowman out of balloons, and the one whose snowman is called the cutest wins.

    Advertise a body part

The presenter calls two young men and asks them to choose two ladies. Then the presenter asks why they chose them, what exactly attracted them, while he hints at a certain part of the body with ambiguous gestures. When young people answer this question, the presenter offers to advertise this part of the body of his chosen one. The one whose advertising is more original and funnier wins.

    Don't guess the hare

The presenter selects a participant to whom he explains that he is portraying a hare and leads him out of the hall. The rest of those present are given another task - to offer as many options as possible without naming the hare. The performer returns to the hall and depicts a bouncing bunny with all parts of his body. The audience expresses even the most ridiculous guesses, but the hare participant does not know about this, being at a loss as to why no one understands. The end of the competition is the go-ahead from the presenter about the end of the performance, then the essence of the task for the audience is revealed to the participant.

    Funny competitions for any company

Whatever the company, the most important thing is to have fun during the holiday. Funny competitions relieve tension and help vacationers find a common language. Joint games and competitions bring participants together, becoming their common pleasant memories.

    Funny intonations

One participant says a wish phrase, and everyone else takes turns repeating it, but with a different intonation. The one who does not come up with any new intonation is eliminated, and the one who pronounces the phrase with the greatest number of intonation shades wins.

The conversation is out of place

Two players are chosen and given the roles of boss and subordinate or doctor and patient. The boss or doctor puts on headphones with loud music playing, and a subordinate or patient asks questions related to work or health. The participant wearing headphones cannot hear anything, but answers questions. Everyone else evaluates the adequacy of the dialogue. Then participants can change roles.

    Plans for the year

Those present write on a piece of paper three of their wishes for the next year. The more they use their imagination, the better. The papers are mixed in one bag or bag, everyone takes turns pulling out one of them. It's funny when the father of the family wants to give birth to a child or go for a manicure. And a respectable lady will want a new optical spinning rod or screwdriver.

How to conduct a New Year's lottery or draw

The New Year's lottery is usually held at the end of the holiday, when guests are tired and want to go home. Small gifts will delight everyone present and add to the treasury of positive impressions. The main thing is to organize everything correctly.

    Preparing for the lottery

To begin with, the organizer issues lottery tickets. Since this is a New Year's lottery, the presenter draws a stand in the shape of a Christmas tree or a snowman. Next, he hangs the tickets on the tree, and the guests choose the one they like. At the very end there is a drawing for prizes: New Year's paraphernalia, useful little things or comic gifts.

    Advice!
The organizer gives tickets to those present not for money, but not for free either. Anyone who wants to receive a prize recites a New Year's poem, asks the others a riddle, or sings a children's song.

    Prize draw for children

Children usually celebrate the New Year at home in the company of relatives, but the school also organizes such entertainment for children as prize drawings during matinees. At the entrance to the assembly hall, children are given numbers. As prizes, Santa Claus pulls out a gift from his bag corresponding to the lottery ticket number. Small gifts are being drawn:
    packaging of cookies;
    a box of chocolates;
    a bag of fruit;
    stickers;
    coloring book;
    notebook;
    markers;
    Christmas tree toy;
    Kinder Surprise.
The number of prizes from Santa Claus must correspond to the number of numbers distributed, then everyone will be happy with the drawing.

    Comic lottery

Such a lottery will amuse any company thanks to its funny prizes. The organizer uses the following items as prizes:
    toast magazine;
    pen with a New Year's design;
    a postcard with a funny congratulation;
clothespin for not poking your nose into other people's affairs.
A comic lottery will amuse many of the assembled guests, but some may be offended. Therefore, it is advisable to carry it out only in a well-known company that understands such humor.
During the New Year celebration, everyone has fun and gets a boost of positivity for the whole coming year. Even if the company is diverse and of different ages, with the help of games, competitions and a positive mood, vacationers can easily smooth out minor conflicts and contradictions.

You are going to celebrate the New Year in a company where almost everyone likes to sit at the table, and you are an exception. Don’t despair. To avoid getting bored, offer to play various competitions while sitting at the table.

Let's get to know each other better

This game will help all your guests get to know each other. Guests sitting at the table pass a roll of toilet paper around. Each guest tears off as many scraps as he wants, the more the better. When each guest has a stack of scraps, the host announces the rules of the game: each guest must tell as many facts about himself as he has torn scraps.
    Anecdote "with a beard"

The contestants take turns telling jokes. If one of those present knows the continuation, the narrator is given a “beard”, which is replaced by a piece of cotton wool. The one who ends up with fewer pieces of cotton wool wins.

    Chef competition

Within a certain time (for example, 5 minutes), the participants in the game must create New Year's menus. All dishes in it must begin with the letter “N” (New Year). Dishes on the menu for Father Frost should begin with the letter “M”, and for the Snow Maiden - with the letter “S”. The one with the largest menu wins.

    Surprise

You need to prepare a box and bright ribbons according to the number of guests. Attach a prize to one of the ribbons; it can be anything (a box of chocolates, a chocolate bar, a soft toy, etc.). Put the prize in the box, all the ribbons too, but so that the ends of the ribbons hang down, close the lid. Each of the guests must choose the ribbon they like, open the lid, and whoever has the prize becomes its owner.

    Cinderella

The game involves two people. Each participant is blindfolded and asked to disassemble his own slide, in which peas, beans, lentils, and dried rowan are mixed (the ingredients can be changed depending on what is in the house). Blindfolded participants sort the fruits into groups. The one who completes the task first wins.

    Mobile phone

Participants in the game name the numbers in order. Those who get the number 5 or its multiples say “ding-ding.” Those who get the number 7 and its multiples say “ding-diling.” The one who makes a mistake is eliminated from the game.

    Throw money down the drain...

Participants in the competition are given a banknote. The players’ task is to “snatch” the money as far as possible in three attempts. After another attempt, the players go to the place where the bill landed and blow again. Whose bill flies the farthest wins. As an option, you can organize the movement of banknotes in teams, in a relay race.

    The most mysterious guest

Hold a competition with your guests and household members to determine the most mysterious person, that is, a master of solving riddles.

This “mysterious championship” will fit well into any New Year’s entertainment program.

Write the text of the riddles on an openwork sheet of paper snowflakes. Make a real New Year's snowfall at home by dropping snowflakes from some elevation. Let each guest try to catch a snowflake on the fly and solve the riddle written on it. The most dexterous and erudite participant in this home snowfall will be awarded the title “The Most Mysterious Guest.”

    Skeleton in the closet

Print funny texts in large text in advance - adaptations of famous songs, poems. Roll them up so that the text is not visible and separate them separately for men and separately for women. To make them easy to distinguish, you can print them on sheets of paper in 2 colors).

The presenter announces: Each of us has our own skeleton in the closet, our own secret that we protect. But, as it is said in the famous “Don Stories” by Viktor Dragunsky, “The secret always becomes apparent.” And now we will find out all the terrible secrets of each other, we will see these same skeletons in the closet.

Each person present draws out a ticket and reads out about their “skeleton” in the closet. (Tickets are given immediately before the reading, and each guest sight reads it).

    Farm

Two teams of 5 people (can be mixed, but a man-woman is more interesting). Pour a drink into 2 plastic bottles. Wear a rubber medical glove over the neck. Make small cuts on your fingers...Whoever sucks the drink faster is the winning team...

Blow a candle - chew an apple

Two volunteers are called up, preferably guys who know each other well. The rest stand around and pretend to be a support group. Players sit on both sides of a small table, a candle is placed in front of each, and a lighter (or matches) and an apple are given in their hands. The task is simple - who can eat their apple faster? But you can only eat an apple when your candle is burning. And the enemy can blow out the candle at any moment, and then the player, before biting the apple again, will have to light it again.

    Song competition

In a hat, notes are passed around in a circle, in which words are written on a New Year's theme (winter, snow, Christmas tree, Christmas tree, needles, sleigh, Santa Claus, horse), etc. The one who pulls out the note must sing a song in which this word appears.

    Ideal woman

We divide into two teams; each team is given a bag containing the same number of balls, tape, and a marker.

within a certain time, each team inflates the balloons and makes the “ideal” woman. Be sure to think over a set of balls (these could be spirals, with a face, etc.) then each team must come up with a defense for their invention, i.e. what is their name, what does they live for, etc.

    Three glasses and paper

Place two glass glasses on the table at some distance from one another. Place a sheet of paper on top.

Take the third glass in your hands and invite the audience to place it between the two glasses on a sheet of paper so that the paper does not bend. Of course, no one succeeds. Then you demonstrate your “magical” abilities.

The secret of the trick: Fold a sheet of paper like an accordion along the long side, then it can easily support the weight of even a glass cup.

    Newborns

For this competition you will need baby feeding bottles with nipples on the necks. The holes in the nipples need to be enlarged a little with a needle, otherwise it will take too much time to complete the task.

Participants are divided into pairs: “mother” is a woman and “baby” is a man. Girls should sit on a chair, sit or place young men on their laps, tie their caps and feed them from a bottle.

The caring “mother” who gets her “child” drunk the fastest wins. In this case, the content can be not only milk, but also lemonade, beer, wine and even vodka - just do not overdo it with the quantity, otherwise “babies” may not calculate their strength and not cope with the load

Any hospitable host carefully prepares to receive his guests. He draws up a menu, sets the table, seats those invited to the celebration, offers a drink to everyone present, and the fun begins. But without games and competitions, such an event turns into ordinary gatherings. With each glass they drink, the guests begin to amuse themselves: first, one person speaks at the table, and everyone listens to him, then they talk in small groups, and by the end of the holiday everyone is talking and no one listens to anyone.

I wouldn’t say it’s boring, but I wouldn’t call it a holiday either. You can diversify such fun with dancing, but there is a “but” here too. The room is small, there is no room to dance or play any outdoor games. But a good owner will find an alternative to this: table games. By choosing the competitions offered to you, you can have fun entertaining any company: from a narrow circle of people to a large number of them. And, of course, the host himself plays the role of host.

Table games and competitions for the New Year

    1. "Confusion"

    Details: 1 sheet, 1 pen.

After each question from the host, the guest writes a word on top of the piece of paper, wraps it so that the next guest does not see, and the piece of paper for the next questions is passed clockwise in a circle. Also, subsequent answers to questions are hidden by folding. The number of questions should be equal to the number of invitees.

Sample surveys of the presenter: “Who?”, “Where”, “When?”, “What did you do”, “To whom?”, “Why?”, “What happened?”.

When the piece of paper is opened, sometimes funny texts appear. For example: “Donkey...In Karaganda...At midnight...Brushed my teeth...Tom Cruise...To make it hurt...Hat!” It turns out to be complete nonsense, but it’s quite fun when everyone is in a good mood.

    2. “Question-Answer”

    Details: 1 pen, 1 sheet.

The principle is the same with bending the leaf and passing it around in a circle. A presenter is not required, the owner also takes part. The first player writes a question and folds the corner, the second one writes the answer to the first player and his own question, and also folds it, passes it to the next one, and so on in a circle. Only when transmitting does he ask a leading question out loud, for example: “Where?”

After this, the text unfolds, and everyone knows their question and answer. For example, it turns out the following: “Where did Petya take his girlfriend yesterday?” - “Rinse in the washing machine.” The closer the relationship in the company, the funnier the phrases sound. Ambiguous.

    3. “Nonsense in verse”

    Details: 1 pen, 1 sheet.

Again, the principle is the same with the sheet and delivery. Only all the guests are trying to write poetry. The rhythm is given to the poems. For example, like this: “Tra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-tam, tra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-tam.” Each, according to the rhythm, writes a line and passes it on to the other. But each odd-numbered guest will have to say the last word written, so that the second one will come up with a line and the word at the end will rhyme. Accordingly, it will be more difficult for every even-numbered person.

The end result might look something like this:

In the morning, sitting on the fence

    Kissed Uncle Borey

And then I'm in an open field

    Profiteroles fried in oil

Believe me, it will be very funny for a cheerful company, especially since everyone can reveal their talent. And what a memory in poetry will remain after such a wonderful evening!

    4. Competition “Draw a star”

Details: each guest - a pen, a piece of paper and a small mirror.

This is a competition for honesty, and the owner needs to offer something symbolic as a prize. Guests are given sheets of paper with points marked on them. Each guest must draw a line from point to point to make a star. The difficulty is that these lines must be drawn while looking into the mirror in front of him. Whoever does it first gets a prize.

Attention! This game has another option - for adults; the presence of children is undesirable. A star (or a more complex drawing) must be given to one player to draw in the same way. It’s best if it’s the most talkative man (let’s say his name is Vasya). The host keeps the outcome of the game secret, and he himself writes down every word of the guest playing, because the “trick” will be revealed at the very end.

And so, when the drawing is finished, the presenter says: “And now we’ll reveal the secret of what our Vasya said in bed on his first wedding night!” And he reads from the sheet of paper what this guest said during the drawing process. It will turn out something like this: “Oh! I went the wrong way! OH! Does not work! It won’t turn!” Etc. And all this to the laughter of the company.

    5. “Broken phone”

Props: walnuts or hazelnuts in shell.

Each player puts several nuts in his mouth, and in a circle very quickly whispers a word (or phrase) in his ear. And so on until the last player. After this, you need to find out who heard what. So, for example, the phrase “White Day” will turn into “Frail stump” through indistinct transmissions. Or even funnier.

    6. Three games: “Pass it to someone else, without using your hands”

    1.Props: medium-sized orange.

The orange is pinched between the chin and chest by the first player. And in the same way, sitting at the table, each player hands-free passes this fruit from one to another.

    2. Details: pencil or cigarette.

The first player holds a cigarette or pencil between his upper lip and nose. And in the same way, without using his hands, he passes it to another, so that his neighbor, the same object, can accept it in the same way: holding it between his nose and lip. The game goes in circles. Laughter at the table due to funny grimaces is guaranteed.

    3. Props: balloon.

The game is similar to the first two. Also, in a circle, without using your hands, you need to pass the balloon, holding it with your lips and drawing in air. It would seem that there is nothing complicated, but when laughter is “stifled”, accepting a balloon from a neighbor is very problematic.

    7. Competition "Abyrvalg"

Details: 1 pen, 1 piece of paper.

Remember the film “Heart of a Dog”, when Sharikov, turning into a man, repeated the phrase “Abyrvalg”. As it turned out later, he spoke the abbreviation “GlavRyba” in reverse. The game is built on the same principle.

One of the guests writes, secretly from everyone, a complex word (to make it easier to read for yourself, but vice versa). Then he voices it to everyone present. The winner is the one who guesses the word correctly first.

    8. “Favorite Hands”

The game is good if there are many couples (spouses or lovers) sitting at the table. One player is blindfolded. The guests change places. This is done so that a blindfolded player does not understand where and whose hands are reaching from. He must guess the hands of his loved one by touch. The main thing is to remove all jewelry from your fingers before playing.

    9. “Like it - don’t like it”

The presenter asks everyone in a circle to name which part of the body of his neighbor on the left he likes and which he doesn’t. This does not mean that you have to be objective, but simply for fun. For example, one of the players said: “I like the ear, but not the nose.” And then, when everyone has voiced their choice, the presenter says: “What you liked, kiss it; what you didn’t like, spit on it.” So you have to - spit on your nose and kiss your ear. And someone will have to “smack” not only the ear!

    10. “Hat of Wishes”

    Details: Hat, notes with wishes.

The game is reminiscent of the famous “Crocodile”, but you don’t have to go anywhere, and if you want to show pantomime with your whole body, you just need to stand up and push back your chair. The game is very suitable for New Year celebrations.

The owner (who is also the presenter) writes wishes on notes in advance. Guests, taking out the notes one by one, must, without words, one at a time, depict what is written on them. Whichever guest guesses it will come true next year. But, you cannot write one word in notes, for example: “Love”, “Health”, “Happiness”, etc. It's too easy.

We need to make it more complicated. For example: “Endless Happiness”, “Siberian Health”, “Tender Love”, “Huge Money”, “Wanted Child”, “Relaxation by the Sea”, etc. It is the one who guessed the full phrase who is waiting for it next year.

    11. "Hat with surprises"

    Details: Hat, notes about surprises.

In this game you can only count on the generosity of the owners. The game is very similar to the previous one. The same principle: everyone takes turns taking out a note and depicting what is written on it. Whoever guesses right will receive a surprise from the owners.

Again, if you write simply: “Comb” or “Mirror”, then it’s easy to depict them and the competition will quickly end. It needs to be made more difficult, and the main thing is that the prize is given to the one who correctly names the entire item written in the note. It will be more difficult to unravel.

For example, options: “Figurine in the form of a frog with a coin”, “Baby bottle pacifier”, “Set of plastic forks”, “Christmas tree toy “Snowflake””, “Colorless varnish”, “Peeled tangerine”, “Fifty ruble bill”, “ Promotional brochure with a discount”, etc. Little things - but pleasant, both for guests and hosts. By the way, this way the owners can get rid of unnecessary trinkets in the house.

    12. “What is MPS”

The game is “disposable” for one full company, but very interesting. It is advisable to play it from the beginning, or from the middle of the fun, when everyone is already slightly “warmed up”, but not yet drunk. By the way, it is not necessary to play this game in such a way that everyone puts aside what they are doing and completely immerses themselves in it. You can “dilute” it with toasts, snacks and even other competitions in between. The main thing is to puzzle the main Player.

It is he who is selected from the company - the main Player, who is really not familiar with this game and does not know what “MPS” is. Please do not confuse it with the Ministry of Railways, it has nothing to do with it. The player leaves the room so as not to hear anything.

The presenter explains to everyone that MPS is “My Right Neighbor.” That is, the guest at the table who sits on the right hand of each guest is the MPS. The main Player comes in and is asked to figure out what “MPS” is. He can ask leading questions in a circle, and guests must answer only “Yes” or “No.”

Everyone's favorite New Year holiday is just around the corner. One of the important components of a fun and exciting holiday is active games and original competitions that do not allow anyone to remain on the sidelines and unite all participants in the New Year celebration. Competitions can be completely different - games, for ingenuity, for ingenuity, for sleight of hand with the use of light fraud, for the especially uninhibited there are erotic competitions. To make the New Year's Eve memorable for a long time, and in the photographs you remember the enthusiasm of that evening and the smiles of your friends, spend them.

    Competition "Pass the Parcel""
Necessary: prepare the package - take a piece of candy or a small toy and wrap it in many pieces of paper or newspaper
Everyone sits around the table and the presenter says: “We received the package, but I don’t know who it’s for. Let’s find out!”
Guests begin to pass the parcel to each other in a circle, unfolding one piece of paper at a time.
Whoever unwraps it last gets the package.

    "Stick Your Nose" Competition
Necessary: draw a funny face (without a nose) on a large piece of paper, and separately sculpt a nose from plasticine.
Attach the sheet to the wall. The players take a few steps back. One by one, they blindfold themselves, approach the portrait and try to stick the nose in place. The one who sticks the nose more accurately wins.

New Year's competition "Real Santa Claus"
You will need: many small unbreakable items: soft toys, books, boxes, etc.
All items are placed near the leader, the rest of the players portray Santa Clauses, among whom we have to choose the real one. The presenter takes turns handing out one item to the “grandfathers”. A player who fails to hold onto and drops any gift leaves the game. The one who turns out to be the most dexterous and does not drop anything is declared the “real Santa Claus” and receives a prize.

    New Year's game "Discoverers"
Necessary: a lot of balloons and markers
Each player receives a balloon and a marker. The host invites the players to “discover” a new planet. To do this, in a certain time (for example, 3 minutes), you need to inflate your balloon and draw as many “residents” on it as possible. Whoever had more residents after time was the winner.

    Ice cream competition
Snow Maiden's favorite treat is ice cream - so a competition is being announced to name the ice cream. Everyone takes turns naming the types of ice cream, and whoever thinks for more than five seconds loses.

New Year's competition "It was my ball!!!"
    Necessary: 2 balloons
The competition requires 2 participants. They are given one inflatable New Year's ball, which the presenter ties to the left leg of each participant. At the command of the leader, the participants try to crush the opponent’s ball with their right foot. It is recommended to play in house shoes or sneakers (participants in tarpaulin boots or stiletto heels are not allowed to participate in the competition).
Winner: the one who “bursts” the opponent’s balloon with his foot faster.

New Year competition "New Year tree"
To play you need: stool or chair - 1 piece, girl - 1 piece, clothespins - a lot.
Clothespins are attached to the girl's dress, the girl is placed on a stool, 2 young men are selected from among the company (you can even divide into 2 teams), who remove the clothespins from her blindfolded.
The one who removes the last clothespin, or the one who has the most clothespins, takes the girl off the chair and kisses her as many times as there are clothespins. The game can be played in reverse, i.e. a guy stands on a stool.

    Competition "New Year's Song"
Necessary: hat and leaves with words
In the hat there are small pieces of paper on which one word is written (Christmas tree, icicle, Santa Claus, frost, etc.) Each guest takes turns taking notes out of the hat and sings a song - necessarily a New Year's or winter song, in which the word written appears on his leaf!

    Competition "The most attentive"
This New Year's competition is held at the table. 2-3 people play. The presenter reads the text:

I'll tell you a story in about a dozen phrases. As soon as I say the number 3, take the prize immediately:

“Once we caught a pike, gutted it, and inside we saw small fish, and not just one, but seven.”
“When you want to memorize poems, don’t cram them until late at night. Take them and repeat them once at night - twice, or better yet, 10.”
“A seasoned guy dreams of becoming an Olympic champion. Look, don’t be tricky at the start, but wait for the command: one, two, march!
“Once I had to wait 3 hours for a train at the station...”

If they don’t have time to take the prize, the presenter takes it: “Well, friends, didn’t you take the prize when you had the opportunity to take it?”

    New Year's competition "Vocabulary spruce"
Name one by one the words in which the word SPRUCE “grows.”
The main condition: the words must be nouns in the nominative case. The participant who cannot name the word is eliminated from the game.
Examples of “dictionary trees”: Caramel, pipe, blizzard, potato, housewarming, Monday, etc.

    Competition "New Year's Scrabble"
Guests at the table are divided into 2 teams. They are asked to take turns naming the names of feature films in which the main action takes place in winter or on New Year's Eve. Everyone is called in turn.
Winner: the one who said the name of the film last.

    Merry New Year's tradition "Wishes"
Each of the guests is given three pieces of paper and in three versions he completes the phrase - “next year I will definitely...”.
The pieces of paper are put into a hat, mixed and the hat is passed around in a circle. Each guest takes a piece of paper out of a hat and reads the text out loud.
For example, a young man’s statement that I will definitely give birth to a child next year, etc. brings great joy to others...
The success of the fun depends on the imagination of the participants.

    New Year's games "Alphabet"
The presenter says that he has a small gift for everyone, but he gives gifts to educated people.
The presenter suggests playing the alphabet game. The first letter of the alphabet is A, and the first player must come up with a New Year's greeting phrase starting with the letter A, for example, he says: “An astronomical salary for you.” Then the next player says with the letter B: “Be happy” and so on for each letter of the alphabet, each player who comes up with the phrase is given a gift.
But the funniest thing comes when the alphabet reaches the letters, Ж, П, ы, ь, Ъ.

New Year's game "Cutting out snowflakes""
Necessary: regular white paper napkins and scissors.
The host distributes a napkin and scissors to the guests.
The task of each player is to cut out a snowflake from a napkin the fastest and most beautifully.

    New Year's game "Napkin Tug"
Necessary: a napkin and several cocktail straws.
The napkin breaks into several pieces. On each piece we write the name of the prize. Between the opponents, place a piece of napkin on the table with the wording facing down.
At the command "Start!" Opponents must use a cocktail straw to pull the napkin towards them.
The second version of the game is to write a comic task on a napkin. In this case, the loser must complete this task.

    Costume competition
You need to buy masks, noses, glasses, jewelry at the wholesale market in advance, pick up old dresses, skirts, scarves, etc.
Guests draw lots to decide which costume to wear. There may be tasks such as Snow Maiden, clown, Indian.

    Competition "Frosty Breath"
There are three snowflakes on the table. Participants blow on them to make them fall off the table. When all the snowflakes fall, announce that the one whose snowflake fell last won (so he froze it to the table).

    Cooking competition
Participants in the competition are given plates and given the task of making an original salad from the treats available on the table.
And then, blindfolded, you have to feed your dish to another participant.
Winner: the one who fed the other most carefully.

    Competition "Who has it?"
Chairs are arranged in a circle in the room. The players, men and women, sit on them. Father Frost or Snow Maiden starts the game (the second option is preferable). She is blindfolded. The music turns on, and the Snow Maiden walks in a circle. As soon as the music stops, she stops and sits on the lap of the person she stopped next to. The one with whom the Snow Maiden sat must hold his breath and not give himself away. The rest ask: “Who?” If the Snow Maiden guesses who she is sitting on her lap, then the “unmasked” one becomes the driver. It is prohibited to touch participants’ hands when guessing.

    Competition "Best Snow Maiden"
Each of the Santa Clauses must dress the Snow Maiden chosen by him in such a way as, in his opinion, a modern Snow Maiden should look like. You can use everything that the Snow Maiden is already wearing, plus any additional items, clothes, Christmas tree decorations, cosmetics, jewelry, etc.
The winner is the Santa Claus who creates the most vivid and unusual image of the Snow Maiden.

    New Year's competition "Best Artist"
Several couples take part in the competition, which are teams.
The goal of the competition: to draw a New Year's landscape in a short period of time.
One player is blindfolded and given a canvas and brushes - in fact, he will paint the landscape.
The other player’s task is to direct the drawing process (say “right”, “left”, etc.).
It turns out very funny. The team that is supported by the audience wins.

    Competition "Resourceful Snow Maiden"
Each girl is blindfolded, and young people hide Christmas tree decorations in their clothes. The girl must find a Christmas tree decoration from her clothed companion as quickly as possible.
The most “resourceful” one wins, i.e. the Snow Maiden who finds the most Christmas tree decorations.
Everyone receives Christmas tree decorations as a souvenir of the evening, and the “resourceful” girl receives a separate prize.

    Competition "Christmas tree toy"
Necessary: colored cardboard, scissors, clothespin, blindfold.
Young people are invited to cut out a Christmas tree toy from colored cardboard. Afterwards, the young man is blindfolded and asked to attach the toy to the Christmas tree.
It is necessary to encourage young people so that they do not orient themselves in space and do not guess in which direction the tree is located.
Afterwards, the young people walk towards the Christmas tree, the hall freezes, because most people move anywhere, but not towards the Christmas tree. However, you are not allowed to wander around the hall - according to the rules, you must hang the toy on the first object you bump into. It could be the boss's ear or the leg of a chair. Won
the one who came closest to the tree/or the one whose “tree” was the most original.

The originality of the “Christmas tree” is determined by the volume of applause.

    A A

New Year is just around the corner. An important component of an exciting and fun holiday is New Year competitions. They unite and force event participants to be active.

Some competitions are of a gaming nature, others are for ingenuity, others are for dexterity or ingenuity. Do not forget about the existence of erotic competitions that are suitable for relaxed people.

If you want the New Year's holiday to be remembered for a long time, be sure to include several exciting competitions in the New Year's program. The photographs taken during the process will remind you of this evening and the joyful atmosphere many years later.

New Year competitions for children and adults

A real holiday, in addition to noisy pastime at the table, includes short dance breaks, mass games and various competitions.

The New Year's celebration is aimed at a mixed audience, so choose New Year's competitions so that everyone can participate. After a half-hour feast, offer guests several musical and active competitions. Having thoroughly blurred and danced, they returned to eating New Year's salads.

I offer 5 interesting competitions for children and adults. I’m sure they will take their rightful place in the New Year’s entertainment program.

    1. “Christmas trees”. Participants imagine that they are Christmas trees standing in the middle of the forest. The presenter says the Christmas trees are tall, low or wide. After these words, the participants raise their arms, squat or spread their arms. The player who makes a mistake is eliminated. The most attentive one wins.
    2. “Dress up the Christmas tree.” You will need garlands, tinsel and ribbons. The Christmas trees will be women and girls. They hold the end of the garland in their hand. Male representatives decorate the Christmas tree, holding the second end of the garland with their lips. The winner is the couple who creates an elegant and beautiful Christmas tree.
    3. “Mummy”. The competition involves the use of toilet paper. Participants are divided into two teams and a mummy is chosen. The rest of the participants will have to mummify her. They wrap the “lucky one” in toilet paper. The teams make sure that there are no gaps between the turns. The team that completes the task faster wins.
    4. "Twins" . Couples participate. For example, mother and son, father and daughter. Participants hug each other around the waist with one hand. For two you will have two free hands. Afterwards the couple will have to cut out the figure. One participant holds the paper, the second wields scissors. The team that makes the most beautiful figure wins.
    5. "Tomato" . The competition is designed for two participants who stand face to face on opposite sides of the chair. A banknote is placed on the chair. At the end of the countdown, participants must cover the bill with their hand. Whoever got there first won. Afterwards, participants are offered a rematch blindfolded. Instead of money, they put a tomato on the chair. The surprise of the participants will amuse the audience.

    New Year's games for children

The main holiday of winter is New Year, accompanied by holidays, good mood and a lot of free time. When guests gather in the house, New Year's games for children will come in handy.

Comic tasks, coupled with bright images and a festive mood will create a positive background for the holiday. Even a simple group game will be exciting if you play with a friendly group. Children will especially enjoy the competitions, the victory of which will bring New Year's gifts.

    1. “Tiger Tail”. Participants line up and take the person in front by the shoulders. The first person in line is the head of the tiger. Closing the column is the tail. After the signal, the “tail” strives to catch up with the “head”, which is trying to escape. The “torso” must remain in the coupling. After some time, the children change places.
    2. “Merry round dance”. An ordinary round dance can be significantly complicated. The leader sets the tone, constantly changing the direction and speed of movement. After several circles, lead the round dance like a snake, moving between pieces of furniture and guests.
    3. "Journey" . Team play involves the use of blindfolds and pins. Place the pins in a “snake” pattern in front of the participants of the two teams. Team members join hands and cover the distance blindfolded. All pins must remain upright. The team whose members knock down the fewest pins wins the game.
    4. “Compliment to the Snow Maiden”. Choose Snow Maiden. Then invite several boys who will compliment her. They have to take out pieces of paper with inscriptions from the bag and, based on the words written on them, express “warm words”. The player who voices the most compliments will win.
    5. “Magic words”. Participants are divided into teams and given a set of letters that make up a certain word. Each team member gets only one letter. In the story that the presenter is reading, there are words from these letters. When such a word is heard, the players with the corresponding letters come forward and line up in the required order. The team that is ahead of its opponents earns a point.
    6. "What changed". Visual memory will help you win the game. Each participant carefully examines the toys hanging on the branches of the Christmas tree for a certain time. Then the children leave the room. Several toys are re-hung or new ones are added. When the children return, they need to voice what has changed.
    7. “Gift in a circle”. Participants stand in a circle face to face. The host gives one of the players a gift and turns on the music. Afterwards the gift moves in a circle. After the music stops, the gift transfer stops. The player who has a gift left is eliminated. At the end of the game, there will be one participant left who will receive this souvenir.

    Ideas for the New Year

Waiting for a miracle is a tedious task; it is better to create it yourself. What to do? Imagine yourself as a wizard, look around, collect simple objects and create something soulful, shimmering, warm and extraordinary. You will need some free time.

    1. “Christmas balls with fabric applique”. To make your Christmas tree stylish and original, you don’t have to buy expensive toys. You can create an exclusive design using cheap plastic balls without a pattern. Cut out identical motifs from an old scarf or a beautiful piece of fabric and paste them onto the surface of the balls.
    2. “Orange Christmas tree toy”. You will need a few oranges, a beautiful fancy ribbon, a cute rope, and a couple of cinnamon sticks. Cut the oranges into slices and place them in the oven to dry. Tie a cinnamon stick with a string and tie it to an orange slice. Make a loop on top. The final touch is a bow tied to a loop.

    Amazing snowflake

It's hard to imagine a New Year's holiday without a dozen playful snowflakes.

    1. Use scissors to trim the ends of the toothpick. Use a paper cutter to make a small cut in the middle of one edge of the toothpick. This will be the main tool.
    2. Make several paper blanks. The width of the strip is around three millimeters. The length is equal to the length of the sheet.
    3. Create a spiral. Carefully insert the edge of the paper strip into the slot on the toothpick and twist it into a spiral. Twist the tool, not the paper. Make sure that the spiral is as even as possible. Remove the spiral and place it on the table.
    4. Spread the edge of the strip twisted into a spiral with glue and press it against the spiral. Press the end lightly. You will get a droplet with a spiral inside. Make as many similar elements as possible.
    5. The shape of the elements can be changed. During gluing, squeeze the element with your fingers, giving it a certain shape. This is how not only circles are created, but droplets and eyes.
    6. Having prepared the required number of elements, begin to form the snowflake. Create a pattern from individual elements, fastening with a drop of glue. You will get an amazingly beautiful snowflake.

Perhaps my ideas for the New Year will seem too simple. If you do everything correctly, the result will be very beautiful, with minimal investment of time and money.

Ideas for the New Year with your family

On this day, grandparents, aunties and parents will gather in one house. You need to try to make the festive night varied and fun. Only advance planning and careful preparation will help with this.

    1. Prepare a script. Each family member is assigned to write a short congratulatory speech. Close people are pleased to hear warm words.
    2. Write humorous toasts on pieces of paper. During the feast, guests will share their own thoughts and amuse each other.
    3. Arrange a family interview. A good video camera will come in handy. You can record the wishes of family members on video.

    Traditions

    1. Each family has certain traditions and customs for celebrating the New Year. Some go out and set off fireworks, others visit the main square, others stay at home and exchange gifts.
    2. Family traditions must be followed. This brings back childhood memories when parents tried to arrange a New Year's fairy tale.
    3. Family New Year is a real holiday of love, at this moment we are surrounded by close people, a joyful and calm atmosphere reigns in the house.
    4. This evening, give your family members as much laughter and joy as possible.

New Year is a holiday when you shouldn’t limit yourself to boundaries. On the contrary, let your imagination run wild and give it the opportunity to run wild. In this case, you will get an unusual holiday, a real feast with games, dancing, fun, and delicious cake.

Good luck in the coming year and don't forget to buy New Year's gifts for your loved ones. Don't chase expensive things. Let them be cheaper, but from the heart. See you!
