Rest the thumb of the hand in which you are holding the knotter against the lower part of the protruding metal platform of the knotter. Pass the warp thread through the fork of the knotter and tighten the thread so that the fork of the knotter is as close to the knot as possible.

Step 9

Tighten the warp thread tightly, bring the knot to the top of the knotter needle and press the knotter platform with your thumb from the bottom up (see illustration). As a result of these actions, the knot will slip off the needle of the knotter and at the same time will be tied as close to the bead as possible.

Step 10

Put on the next bead. Make a loop for the knot using the main thread. With the needle of the knotter inserted into this loop, repeat steps 8 and 9. Put on the beads and tie knots behind each of them until the last two beads remain. Put the last two beads on the thread, but do not tie knots behind them.

Step 11

Put the fastener on the working thread and thread the last bead in the opposite direction. Pull the thread so that the clasp is as close to the beads as possible.

Step 12

Tie a strong knot between the last two beads.

Step 13

Pass the end of the thread through the hole in the penultimate bead in the opposite direction.

Step 14

Cut off the rest of the thread on both sides of the decoration. For reliability, you can fix the knots at the extreme beads with glue.

    • Crimps (crimp beads). These are soft metal beads with large holes. They can be pressed against the wire to secure in place.
    • Beads. It can be used in between beads to lengthen the product. There are many varieties of beads, so you can choose one that goes well with your beads.
    • Board, rug or towel as a workspace. A special weaving board has many grooves to keep your beads in place. If you don't have one, you can use a towel to keep the beads from falling apart. Never work on wood or tiles.

  2. Loosen the beads. Do not try to keep the beads on the original cable. Chances are you won't have enough room for the two wires and will be harder to work with, so remove all the beads.   3. String the beads directly on the cable. If you are using a cable, you will not need a needle - the beads will easily thread themselves. Put the beads on the cable one by one without unfastening it from the spool. If you need more length it won't be a problem. But be careful and do not put pressure on your product. Even though the beads are brand new, they can still be deformed.

    Attach the clasp. Once you have strung all the beads, thread the crimp, callot and bead. Then do the following:

    • Thread the cable back through the callot so that the bead enters the hole, then thread the cable through the crimp.
    • Place the bead firmly in the callot and move the crimp close to it.
    • Press the crimp to the cable with pliers.
    • For better fixing, apply a drop of glue or nail polish to the middle of the callot before placing the bead in it.
    • Then thread the "tail" through the next bead and cut it so that it does not stick out.

  4. Alternatively, try tying a knot. If the above method of fastening sounds scary to you, you can simply tie a knot at the end of the cable as close to the callot as possible. Then fix it with glue. Cut off the excess part of the cable so that the knot can hide in the callot.

    • Then you can put the clasp on the callot hook. Close the hook with pliers so that the clasp does not come off.

  5. Fasten off the other end of your beads. If you haven't already cut the cable from the spool, do it now, leaving an extra 5 cm. Take both ends in your hands so that the beads settle down and lay naturally.

    • On the second end, repeat the same as on the first. If you are using clamshell callots, be sure to place a bead inside and close the clasp hook with pliers.

    1. Work on a non-slip surface. If you have a beading tray/board, that's great, if not, work on a towel, large piece of felt, or even Styrofoam. It is very important to place the beads in the correct order, and they should not spill over the entire work surface.

      • Fine needle with large eye
      • Silk or synthetic thread
      • Match or lighter (for soldering the ends of a synthetic thread)
      • Superglue and toothpick (if using silk thread)
      • Scissors or cutters

    2. Thread the needle, but not as usual, but in a different way:

      • Take about 25 cm of thread and divide it into thin threads.
      • Take one of these thin threads and thread her into the eye of the needle.
      • Tie the threaded thread into a knot to make a loop that passes through the eye of the needle (the thread will be threaded into this loop, on which the beads will be strung; this will increase the eye of the needle and simplify your task).
      • Cut the strand three times longer than your beads.
      • Take the thread in half and thread it with the ends forward through the loop you just made. Don't knot the thread, but pull it down just enough so it doesn't slip out. Now you have truly, albeit in a strange way, threaded the needle.

    3. Attach the clasp. Take the clasp from the original beads (or a new one) and thread the thread through it. To do this, thread the needle through the ring on the clasp and then back through the loop at the end of the thread near the eye of the needle.

      • You can tie a knot near the clasp to keep the loop from slipping onto the ring.

    4. Start stringing beads. String the beads on the thread through the needle, pushing them to the edge of the clasp. Take your time so that when you are halfway through the work, you suddenly find that you have mixed everything up.
