An image for an Asian look. Wedding makeup for Asian eyes. Video: How to hide a drooping eyelid

Asian girls always attract attention in the crowd because they look exotic enough. Especially in their appearance stand out almond-shaped eyes of brown color, which is considered mysterious and passionate. In order to emphasize the beauty of their eyes, girls resort to make-up tricks, which differ significantly from the European type of eye makeup.

Peculiarities

The main feature of Asian eyes is their elongated shape with a narrow slit. Also, a person of Asian appearance has a special structure of the movable eyelid, which almost completely hangs over the eye, which is expressed in the absence of a fold. The cilia also has its own peculiarities: the cilia of Asians are often short and straight.

Based on the aforementioned anthropometric characteristics, it becomes clear that girls with this shape of eyes need to correct their shape - visually "open up" their gaze, and it is also necessary to work on its severity.

Girls rarely focus on their eyes in makeup, because they have very expressive lips: full and beautifully shaped. That is why Asians tend to emphasize their beauty, using soft lipsticks in daytime makeup.

Very often, oriental girls are the owners of outstanding cheekbones, which cannot be stressed enough. It is this structural feature that creates an additional emphasis on the face, which they also demonstrate with pleasure. However, a significant disadvantage is a yellowish skin tone, which also needs to be corrected and given a lighter, pinkish undertone.

Despite the specific features, girls manage to make perfect makeup that emphasizes their strengths and hides flaws. In particular, it is necessary to monitor the skin and at each make-up session it is necessary to bring it to perfect condition, otherwise it can significantly spoil the overall appearance. No matter how beautiful a girl's eyes are, you must, first of all, be able to give a light and natural skin tone.

Only after that it is necessary to move on to eye makeup, aimed at increasing their volume and expanding the incision. Thanks to this, you can "open up" the look and make it more alluring and expressive.

However, when doing makeup, it is important to maintain a balance so as not to lose personality.

How to determine the shape?

Determining the shape of the eyes and their section is not very difficult, since most people are visually able to assess the size and shape of the eye.

However, if a number of difficulties arise with this, then you can turn to the following features, which are characteristic purely for the Asian form:

  • It is necessary to bring the mirror to your eyes as far as possible and go to the window, since natural light provides the best vision.
  • On a visual assessment, you should immediately look at the upper eyelid and note if a crease is present. If it is absent, this is the most important sign of the so-called Mongoloid eyes.
  • It is also important to analyze the position of the outer corners of the eye. Visualizing a straight horizontal line through the center of the eye socket will help with this. You need to see where the outer and inner corners are directed. This will determine if the eyes are lowered or raised.
  • If it is impossible to see the white of the eyes under or above the iris, then this is a characteristic feature of the almond eyes.

What means to use?

The first step to a beautiful and harmonious make-up is the right choice of cosmetics. Most of them, in particular, decorative cosmetics, which include shadows, eyeliner, pencils, can be found in any specialty store.

However, it is worth taking into account the fact that products should be selected only in accordance with the type of skin, which is still slightly different for Asians. Moreover, since the main purpose of makeup for oriental girls is correction, specialized products are often used, for example, artificial eyelashes or even special glue for lifting the upper eyelid!

Since such funds are quite difficult to find without prior ordering, we note the basic items that should be in a cosmetic bag:

  • An under-shadow base that helps make-up last as long as possible without getting a messy or stale look.
  • An eyeliner should preferably be black and brown. By alternating between these shades and using them in different techniques, you can achieve amazing results.
  • Gel black eyeliner is needed in order to make rich, dramatic arrows, which will add an oriental flavor to the look due to the modern persistent and dense structure of the composition.
  • Several palettes of eyeshadow should also be included in the standard cosmetic set. The eyeshadow should ideally be of different shades, both warm and cold, in order to create an individual make-up for each look. Mandatory components of the palette are beige and brown, the so-called natural colors.
  • Not a single girl doing make-up can do without mascara, since it gives more dynamism to the look, adds volume to the eyelashes and makes the eyes wider.

How to do it?

Each of the girls, regardless of nationality, wants to be able to do perfect makeup. Creating a correct and beautiful make-up for Asian eyes is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. If you follow the step-by-step instructions and try to follow the rules of application, then you can easily create a beautiful make up in a short time using the most basic cosmetics.

After the tone has been created on the face, the skin has become smoother and more radiant, you can proceed directly to the eye makeup.

To do this, you need to apply a base under the shadow to the eyelids. She will be able to create a special coating that will help prevent the shadows from rolling or losing their color. Often, the bases also carry caring functions, which will take care of the delicate skin of the eyelids and around the eyes.

Now you need to emphasize the shape of the eyebrows and, if necessary, correct it. To do this, you need to use a special lipstick or pencil. A small amount of highlighter can be applied under the curve to enhance the beauty of the shape.

Further steps differ depending on the type of makeup and the occasion for which it is being created. Shadows can be applied to create a subtle gait around the eyes and thus accentuate the color of the eyes. On top of them, many people prefer to draw arrows to make the look more expressive. You can draw arrows either with a pencil or with an eyeliner. The first option is soft enough, and the pencil line can be easily shaded, while the eyeliner creates clear graphic lines that will become the basis of the makeup.

In order to complete the look, you need to dye your eyelashes, but this must be done very carefully so as not to turn the hairs into "spider legs".

Unlike European women, who are used to showing bright eye makeup, Asian girls prefer to focus the attention of others on natural, natural beauty.

However, there are eye makeup options that are suitable for absolutely all girls - this is the "amber" technique. It allows for a smooth transition from one color to another, from lighter to darker and more dramatic due to enhanced feathering. This application technique allows Europeans to add more mystery to their eyes, and Asians - to correct the shape of the eyes and give them visual depth.

In addition, due to such a make-up, girls from Europe are trying to avoid the same type of make-up: Shifting the focus towards Asian makeup, they try to find a new way of expressing themselves and expressing their individuality.

Everyday

Any makeup has many facets and is designed for a particular occasion, however, regardless of the event chosen, the makeup should always look perfect and look harmonious. Recall that there are several types of makeup: everyday, evening, pop and national.

Daytime make-up is one of the simplest, it is designed to emphasize the natural beauty of a girl with a minimum amount of cosmetics.

On the upper eyelid, you need to apply light shades of shadows, which will visually enlarge the eyes - at least, it will create such a visual effect. From the side of the outer corner, you need to start toning the eyelid with dark shadows - dark brown, graphite, dark gray, but not black. It is necessary to walk along the line of growth of the eyelashes with a thin line of liquid eyeliner, while not drawing the line beyond the edges of the eyes.

To increase the volume of your eyes, you can apply a little highlighter under them with your fingertips to visually make them look larger.

In a couple of layers, you need to apply mascara to the upper eyelashes. Sometimes this is done on the lower ones, but this is far from necessary in order not to create an overly bright image. When applying mascara, you must carefully comb your eyelashes so that they do not stick together and spoil the appearance.

Evening

Evening makeup differs from daytime only in shades and saturation of colors. The same method of applying cosmetics is used, however, a brighter palette is used in the evening make-up.

To add drama and showiness, use eyelashes that need to be fixed with special glue. There are different shapes and types of artificial eyelashes, as well as their different volumes. It is not worth advising any specific one, since the choice depends entirely on the girl's desire, because any type of artificial eyelashes is suitable for Asian women.

Wedding

Wedding makeup is significantly different from other types of make-up, because it should demonstrate all the tenderness, purity and natural beauty of the bride. That is why make-up artists use a very soft palette, giving up clean lines and rich colors. For brown eyes, cream shades, beige and coffee colors are perfect.

Light shades are applied to the inner corner of the eye and smoothly faded to the center, where a "medium" shade is applied in its saturation and depth, which will create a smooth transition from the inner part of the eyelid to the outer one. It is on the outer corner that a dark color is applied, which will add depth to the look.

Often, artificial eyelashes (not the most voluminous) are used for wedding makeup. They can be tinted with ink and curled with special tongs. This technique will curl the hairs, enlarge the eyelashes and visually open the eyes.

Smoky eyes

Smoky eyes, or "smoky" makeup, suits absolutely everyone, regardless of the shape and shape of the eyes. This make-up option is perfect for an evening out in a restaurant or a trip to a club, if it is made with deep saturated colors. At the same time, if you do this makeup in lighter shades, it is suitable for everyday wear. It is for this wide variety that many makeup artists love this type of makeup.

Exotic Asian eyes are seductive and mysterious. But due to the fact that they have an unusual shape - they are narrow, have heavy overhanging eyelids - their owners should know a few special secrets in order to emphasize their beauty. Their make-up makes a correction to facial features, due to this, the eyes are visually enlarged.

Distinctive features of Asian appearance

  • Light yellowness of the skin.
  • Narrow slanting eyes.
  • Overhanging eyelid - its upper part covers the moving part. This creates a feeling of heaviness in the eyes, swelling.
  • Pronounced cheekbones
  • The eyelashes are short and sparse.
  • Beautifully contoured lips.

Makeup for an exotic look

Asian makeup should start with smoothing the skin tone cream. But not all shades of tone are suitable for Asian girls. Don't use pinkish colors. At the time, beige, coffee with milk, gold, caramel will come. The main thing is that the foundation is not darker than the natural color of the skin.
  • Cheekbones
For an exotic make-up, you need to choose natural blush of peach, plum, bronze shades.

  • Shadows
A variety of shadows are great for Asians. You can take two or three shades at once, the only condition is that they are well compatible. Dark gray, beige, green, pearl, cream, coffee will do. Do not use reddish shades.
The eyeshadow should not be pearlescent so that the eyes do not appear sore and puffy. An exception is evening make-up, where you can take light pearlescent ones.
If you are doing daytime makeup, you can skip the eyeshadow or stick to light, light shades. For the day, dark shadows are needed only to emphasize the depth and exoticism of the eyes. For the evening, you can take more saturated tones according to the smoky makeup style - deep blue, brown, violet.

  • Eyeliner
The eyelash line for Asian women should be outlined - with a pencil or eyeliner. The color of the contour can be different: black, dark brown, purple, blue.
It is applied along the lash line, thickening at the outer corner of the eye. You can slightly extend the line beyond the outer corner by lifting it up to the temples.

  • Eyelash curler
They are essential for Asian makeup. The eyelashes are curled to make them appear fuller and longer.

  • Mascara
Asian girls usually have short and sparse eyelashes. Therefore, it is worth using lengthening mascara, which is applied to the upper eyelashes at least twice, to the lower ones once.

  • Lipstick or lip gloss
In this version of makeup, you can use both bright and pastel lipstick tones.

Ways to apply makeup for Asian eyes

There are two such ways:
  1. This method does not change the natural shape of the eyes. For example, a light shade is applied completely over the eyelid. A darker color accentuates the depth of the eyes.
  2. In this case, by drawing an additional fold on the upper eyelid, the eyes are visually enlarged.
Start with a yellowish foundation on your face. Correct all irregularities with the corrector. Lightly emphasize and blend the brow line with a brush.

For daytime makeup, use natural shades of eyeshadow. Apply a light foundation all over the eyelid. On the movable part of the eyelid, put a shadow of a bronze shade.

Draw a line along the lash line with a dark brown pencil. Extend a little line at the outer corner of the eye. Curl your lashes with tongs and tint them with mascara twice. Remove oily shine by powdering your face. Liven up your cheeks with a warm blush. Color your lips.

Evening makeup for Asian eyes

Apply foundation all over your face. Paint over the entire upper eyelid with light shadows. Accentuate the shape of the eyes with a darker tone. Draw the lash line with a dark purple pencil, do not forget to shade. Draw the lower eyelid with a purple outline. Duplicate the outline with dark purple shadows.
Apply lengthening mascara to curled lashes. Finish with peach or pinkish powder and glitter or lipstick.

In order for the Asian make-up to become effective, use several shades of eyeshadow. Apply the light shadow base all the way to the upper lid. Apply a shine-shadow to the moving eyelid.
Visually enlarge the eyes with an eyeliner. Draw a contour on the lower eyelid as well. Form your lips with a pencil and, without going beyond the contour, paint with lipstick.

  • As a rule, in Asian women, the skin has the color of brown sugar or warm almonds, therefore, the tonal base should be selected in a yellowish tint, and not pink, which will either instantly make the face orange or whiten it. The earthy skin tone, sometimes characteristic of the Asian type, can be softened by correcting powder by applying it to the protruding parts.
  • Dark circles under the eyes, typical for the Asian type of appearance, can be "covered" with a corrector of a yellowish or peach shade. It is imperative to use a base under the shadow: due to the peculiarities of the structure of the eyes, shadows and eyeliner can quickly flow and smudge. In eye makeup, you can use bright, deep colors - they will help to make the look more expressive.
  • Cold tones should be avoided in makeup, as well as shades that look paler than the natural skin color.
  • It is better to choose light shades for narrow, slightly slanted eyes: beige, cream, sand, light green, pale pink (but they should not be lighter than skin tone). They should be shaded directly with your fingers from the inner corner of the eye to the outer one. Apply the eyeliner closer to the lash line and be sure to draw it out beyond the edge of the eye with a thin arrow.
  • To create the effect of a fold between the movable and fixed eyelids, apply light shadows on the movable eyelid, and in the middle of the eyelid (from the eyelashes to the eyebrow in the middle) - darker beige-brown shadows, as if outlining the eyeball. This will create a natural looking fold.
  • For a brighter or evening make-up, you can do smokey ice and experiment with eyeliners and colored eyeshadows. For example, a purple eyeliner along the upper edge and brown eyeliner along the lower eyelashes will help transform your makeup from daytime to evening. Shimmering green eyeshadow also looks beautiful on Asian eyes.
  • The eyelashes of girls of Asian type are usually very straight and when applying mascara without first curling, they are not too noticeable, so you should first use a curler. In addition, lashes are often not very long, so lengthening mascara should be applied. For evening makeup, you can use false eyelashes.
  • Eyebrows of the Asian type are straight, the hairs grow down and do not differ in density, so it is better to tint them with shadows or a pencil in a color or a little lighter than the natural shade of the hair and fix the hairs with eyebrow gel, combing them up.
  • Red lipsticks of cold shades suit the Asian type of face, in this case the use of red eyeshadow also looks harmonious. You can also use a natural lipstick tone - matte and gloss. Asian lips are usually very beautifully shaped and can be emphasized with a pencil. Focus on either the eyes or the lips. If you are using red lipstick, limit yourself to arrows and beige-brownish-pink shades.
  • Use either a cold pink or peach blush. Apply the blush as if in the shape of a heart from the temples to the sub-cheekbone area (lower cheekbone line).

Every woman attaches great importance to a beautiful make-up. Owners of Asian eyes, who are incredibly beautiful, are able, while doing makeup, to add even more mystery and seductiveness to the eyes.

Make-up is always attached great importance

At the same time, such girls should master special techniques, since the unusual shape of the eyes (usually with an overhanging eyelid) requires careful skill. Make-up for Asian eyes allows you to open your eyes, naturally, visually, and also give lightness to the look.

Ways to apply makeup

Use lighter shades of eyeshadow

Asian makeup is applied in two ways:

  1. Visual enlargement of the eyes is achieved by drawing an imaginary fold above the eyes. Such a clever technique allows you to enlarge (visually, of course) the eyelid.
  2. The natural shape of the eyes cannot be changed. But competent Asian makeup is achieved by using a light shade of eyeshadow. Whereas dark shadows should emphasize the depth of Asian eyes.

What is required for Asian makeup

Find the right cosmetics

If you are planning to do makeup for an Asian eye shape, you should make sure you have the right makeup. So, you can't do without:

  • high-quality foundation, and pinkish shades, as in the photo of recognized beauties,
  • blush with a bronze, plum or peach shade,
  • shadows of dark gray, coffee, pearl, green, beige or cream shades,
  • eyeliner for emphasizing eyelashes (its correct use can be seen in the video),
  • mascara, preferably with a lengthening effect - this is applied in several layers,
  • curling tongs designed for curling eyelashes.

All this allows you to create makeup for Asian eyes smokey ice. As for lipstick, any shades that suit a girl will do.

Options for creating such a visage

Use special tools

The most proven way is to create the classic Smoky Eyes.

To do this, you need to apply a makeup base to the eyelids to ensure long-term hold of the makeup. Then draw along the growth of the eyelashes, as well as slightly higher, and also shade a neat line with a black pencil. A special brush will help with this. With the same black pencil, draw a similar line at the lower eyelashes.

The eyelashes themselves should be painted over and curled. Ideally, apply false eyelashes as well. This classic make-up also includes light eyebrow tinting. And one more thing: there is no point in using bright, for example, red lipstick - you will get an overly aggressive visage.

The Asian type of appearance is at the height of fashion and this, of course, could not fail to be reflected in the makeup trends. The fashion for characteristic facial features has led to the fact that more and more often on the catwalks and fashion shows you can see that European models more and more often perform eye makeup in a special way, trying to make their eyes as close as possible to the Asian type through make-up techniques.

Features of Asian makeup

Classic Asian makeup is, first of all, very light skin, a clear eyebrow line and, of course, special eyes. What we used to call the "Asian section" is nothing more than a special form of the structure of the century. Unlike the European eyelid, such an eyelid is much flatter, it almost completely lacks a fold and, despite the fact that the Asian eyelid is much wider, its area is much smaller than that of the European one.

Therefore, the classic makeup schemes are practically not applicable to him.

In addition to the fact that the makeup of the movable eyelid is completely invisible when the eye is open, it is necessary to take into account the difference between all the folds surrounding the eye from below and from above. This significant difference in relief must be carefully worked out by playing around with shadow and light.

The nuances of the selection of cosmetics

When thinking about doing Asian makeup, be sure to consider the key distinctive features between the representatives of the two races - Asian and European.

  1. Asian skin never comes with a pink undertone. Accordingly, choose foundations and correctors with a pronounced yellow pigment.
  2. By analogy with the foundation, we exclude the warmest shades of blush - pink and coral, we give preference to the classic beige or caramel color.
  3. No undertones in eyelash and eyebrow cosmetics - just uncompromising black.
  4. Due to the specifics of the century, bright colors of shadows are mostly not used, the dominant palette is all gamut, echoing the color and tone of the skin. Gold and silver shades are used for accents.
  5. The only thing that has no color restrictions is lipstick! It can be anything from fatal red to cold but delicate pink.

Execution Algorithm

Any make-up begins, of course, from the base.

The foundation

  • As with all other techniques, high-quality and neatly executed Asian makeup begins with an even distribution of the basic tone over the entire face. Having carefully shaded all the boundaries of the product, 1 tone lighter than the skin tone, it is necessary to additionally lighten the triangle that forms the lower eyelid (the base of the triangle is the line between the inner and outer corners of the eye) and the wing of the nose. Best of all, a concealer with reflective particles, applied with a translucent layer using a sponge and additionally shaded with fingertips, will cope with this task.
  • Set the foundation with loose powder, and the concealer with matte shadows 1-2 tones lighter than the skin.
  • The face is now ready for correction. It is recommended to give preference to dry textures - bronzer or matte shadows. Please note that the product used to create shadows and reliefs on the face should in no case contain a shimmer and any reflective particles, as well as red pigment, even in a minimal ratio. That is, the most matte product in all shades of gray-brown.

  • Use a matte bronzer to darken the area under the cheekbone, the hairline all over the face, the sides of the bridge of the nose and the lower border of the chin.

Preparation of the century

  • Apply a primer to the upper eyelid (both on its movable part and on the brow zone), it is best to distribute it with the pad of a finger - the warmth of the hands will warm the product and make it more pliable, and contact with the skin will allow you to feel the degree of coverage, which is extremely important, because ... too much base for the eyeshadow will backfire and the makeup will soon begin to peel off.
  • Powder the eyelid again over the primer.

Liner (eyeliner) application

  • With a gel or liquid eyeliner, carefully draw a thin line along the ciliary edge of the upper eyelid - from the beginning of active growth of eyelashes from the inner side to the outer corner.
  • Having carefully painted over the eyelash growth line and the spaces between the eyelashes, lower the eyeliner line in the outer corner slightly downward - thus, the eye will visually become somewhat narrower and elongated.
  • Bring the tail of the eyeliner line from the lowered corner a little up - literally 2-3 mm. Until the eyeliner line is dry, gently run a beveled synthetic brush or a regular cotton swab along the drawn line - this manipulation will make the border less geometric, and the ending of the arrow smoother and more natural.

Lower eyelid design

  • The Asian eye is always the eye of the correct almond shape. In order to bring the European incision closer to this shape, it is necessary to work out the lower eyelid. The best technique to achieve this goal is to lighten the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid.
  • If the eyes are light, then you can safely use a soft beige or white-pink pencil. The mucous membrane he has worked out will correct the shape and at the same time refresh the look.
  • For dark and too bright eyes, it is worth choosing a harmonious gray or gray-brown shade, because with all the advantages of light pencils, for this type they will be very contrasting and will add an unnecessary masquerade effect in this context.

Eyelashes

  • A big mistake in Asian makeup would be to create voluminous and long eyelashes, as they instantly visually expand the eye and make it more prominent - namely, we left these parameters at all previous stages.
  • Eyelashes must be contrasting and for this, exactly one layer of mascara will be enough.
  • The lower eyelashes, when modeling an Asian cut on European eyes, do not stain at all.

Eyebrow shaping

  • Asian makeup cannot be complete and complete without properly shaped eyebrows.
  • The first rule is a rich charcoal eyebrow color, even for blondes.
  • The second rule is the absence of traditional European bends and kinks in the eyebrow line: only a straight shape or a shape resembling a bowstring.
  • Maximum geometry and definition of the contour, no additional shading to soften the look of the eyebrows.

And here is the original version of Japanese makeup:

It goes without saying that it is impossible to achieve an absolutely identical Asian cut of the eyes with the help of only decorative means. However, knowing the key features and main accents of such a technique, you can easily recreate the image you need for the occasion - for example, for a theme party.
