In my work, I suggest using this pattern:

We begin to assemble the structure. To do this, having folded the parts with the right side inward, we first sew the first pair of parts of the same color along the “needles” line, that is, along the outer jagged contour.

We consistently assemble the Christmas tree structure, sewing its edges along the straight sides, alternating parts of different colors. It is important that all parts are folded right side inward.

At the base of the future Christmas tree, we leave a small hole unsewn through which we will fill it with a firebox. We turn the design on the front side and stuff it tightly.

We carefully sew the Christmas tree at the base, leaving a small hole equal in diameter to the cross section of the pencil.

We sew the Christmas tree along through two conditionally intersecting perpendicular planes (as shown in the photo) to give it the desired shape.

Operating procedure

  1. When cutting the felt, position the paper pattern so that there is a fold at the bottom, step back a couple of centimeters from the edge so that the bottom is thicker.
  2. When the outline is outlined, remove the pattern and carefully chip off the details with pins before starting to cut.
  3. On the cut out part, mark the lower border, to which there will be a line. We scribble along the pencil line, leaving a hole on the lower tier for eversion and stuffing. We make out the corners of the bottom.
  4. We turn the Christmas tree, straightening the rounded corners, slightly stretching them with our own hands. Felt is plastic, it is easy to add volume to it. We fill the Christmas tree and sew it by hand with a hidden seam.

Christmas tree made of cones

A Christmas tree made from cones will be an amazing decor element, it can decorate the New Year's table or even serve as a great gift. In order to make such an ornament, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • identical bumps;
  • strong cardboard paper;
  • pencil;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • glitter and gold paint.

First you need to take the cardboard and roll it in the shape of a cone, glue the joint with glue. We use scissors to separate the scales from the Christmas tree cones, as they will need quite a lot. After that, the cardboard cone is carefully glued with scales, starting from the very bottom.

If you like the original look, you can omit the paint and other decorations, but they can add shine and charm to the tree.

The paint is applied with a brush, when it dries, the craft can be decorated with sequins, tinsel, ribbons and other decorative elements.

Christmas tree from single-layer napkins

To create such a decoration, you will need napkins, thick cardboard and beads. Initially, we construct a cone of cardboard paper, which will serve as a solid foundation. It is necessary to ensure that the cone has smooth edges and does not fall on its side.

Then we take napkins and cut them along the folds, fold them in three and make cuts again. We fold them again and cut them, as a result, we should get a small square equal to 1/9 of this napkin.

We use a stapler to fasten it in the central part. Then we cut out a circle from the square, and gradually bending its layers, we create a rose.

If the resulting flower is slightly uneven, it can always be corrected with scissors. The number of roses depends on the size of the cone. When they are ready, use glue and start gluing the flowers from the top of the head.

Napkins can be taken in several colors, then the Christmas tree will turn out to be brighter and more original. After all the roses are glued, take the beads and also glue them in some places.


You can decorate such a craft with anything, it is easy to manufacture and does not require special costs.

Christmas tree made of paper and cardboard

This craft is very easy to make, and it looks elegant and original. Using corrugated paper, the Christmas tree will turn out to be quite fluffy. To create it you will need:

  • green corrugated paper;

Good evening dear readers! Today you will see the process of creating a fabric Christmas tree in two versions.

The first version of the Christmas tree made of fabric:

To create a Christmas tree from fabric, you will need:

Green satin fabric + contrast color fabric for the star;

Paper for the cone;

Pattern;

Thread + needle, scissors;

Decor as desired.

Initially, you need to make a pattern for a Christmas tree from fabric (excluding puffs). In fact, in this case, the Christmas tree is a cone, so the pattern will have a round base and 4 identical sectors of the cone (photo 1).

Since the consumption of fabric increases when embroidering with puffs, you need to change the pattern of the side surface of the Christmas tree. In this case, puffs "scales" were used. In this case, the flow rate is approximately doubled horizontally and one and a half times in height.

The new pattern of the side surface of the Christmas tree will look like in photo 2.

Next, mark the puffs according to the scheme. It is very convenient to do this on graph paper (photo 3). The pattern is ready - start sewing. Cut out 4 side pieces and one base piece from the fabric. Satin or other shiny fabric is perfect, on which the puffs will look more impressive (photo 4).

The next step is quite important - to show accuracy and accuracy. Transfer the puff pattern to the fabric. Parts are not very large - proceed as follows: put a pattern with a puff pattern on the front side of the part. Next, pin the pattern to the fabric with pins so that each pin goes through two points on the pattern. Here it is important to ensure that the puncture in the fabric is located exactly under the puncture in the pattern (photo 5). This is how it will look from the inside (photo 6). Next, mark all the points with chalk where the pin will pierce the fabric (photo 7). Then the pins can be removed. Connect the dots on the fabric with chalk, as in the puff pattern. In order not to get confused when embroidering (photo 8).

When these steps are done with all 4 details, proceed directly to sewing. Enter the needle at the first point (in one of the extreme triangles) and fasten the thread.

Then insert the needle into the second point of the triangle (Pic 9) and into the third (Pic 10). Then tighten the thread. After that, insert the needle again at the first point and secure the thread with one turn around the needle (photo 11). After that, you can proceed to the manufacture of the next triangle. The thread between the two triangles should lie loosely, so at the first point again make a bartack (photo 12).

To be able to continue working with the part, process its edge. To do this, simply lay the excess fabric in the folds and fasten them close to the edge of the part (so that the threads with which you fixed the folds are not visible after assembly on the front side of the entire product). As a result, the part will look like in photo 15. Do the same with the other three parts (photo 16).

Cut off excess allowances, cut them at the base and at the top of the tree (so that nothing puffs up after turning out) (photo 19).

Turn inside out, stuff with synthetic down and sew up the hole (photo 20). After that, decorate the Christmas tree to your pacification. You can use large beads, some beads and glass beads (photo 21).

The final touch will be the star at the top of the Christmas tree. Draw it on the fabric and cut out a rectangle twice as large as one piece (to then fold in half) (Pic 22).

Fold in half, temper and sew, leaving an opening for eversion. After everything is sewn - cut off the excess fabric and cut the allowances in the corners between the rays (photo 23).

Turn the star inside out, lightly stuff with padding and sew up the hole. Since synthetic satin was used in this case, simplify your task and do not wrap the allowances inside, but burn the fabric section and lay the seam over the face (photo 24).

Sew the star to the top of the Christmas tree with the same thread. Ready!

The second version of the Christmas tree made of fabric:

This is the easiest option. You can sew such a Christmas tree out of fabric and install it on the trunk.

To make a fabric Christmas tree you will need:

Solid or multi-colored fabric;

Christmas tree pattern;

Filler (synthetic winterizer / holofiber);

Ribbons;

Beads.

Christmas tree made of fabric step by step:

Fold the fabric inward with the face, draw three elements of the “Christmas tree” according to the pattern, sew, not forgetting to leave two holes on each element. Turn inside out, fold the three pieces together and sew. Stuff tightly with filler and sew up all openings with a blind seam. Decorate the Christmas tree with a star and Christmas balls.

How to make a Christmas tree out of fabric with your own hands:

Transfer the stencil to tracing paper, make it the size you need. I have a Christmas tree 20 cm high. Choose a fabric in festive colors, you can make Christmas trees of the same color or make them combined. According to the composition, choose a fabric that is soft, which is easily ironed, the best option is cotton.

Using the stencil, cut out six pieces with scissors. In my version, I cut out four parts from a fabric with a red decor and two parts from a fabric with a green decor. Do not forget about the increase, about 0.5-0.7 mm. Fold the blanks in pairs facing the arcs to a friend and stab with safety pins. Sew along the outline with a straight stitch, leaving the stuffing hole at the bottom unsewn.

Steam blanks with a hot iron. In the corners of the parts, make small cuts, not reaching the line, in order to carefully turn the blanks. Turn the Christmas tree pieces right side out and straighten all the corners with a needle. Steam all the details again.

Fold the finished parts together so that the green tree is between the red trees, and make a straight line along the middle seam. The next step is padding. The best option is to use a padding polyester in balls so that the stuffing is evenly distributed. Stuff each part of the Christmas tree, through the unstitched part from the bottom. Fill in all corners carefully. Then, carefully sew the bottom hole closed by hand. Sew a large button to the very bottom of the Christmas tree for the stability of the New Year's souvenir.

The final and most interesting stage is the decoration of the Christmas tree. I sewed a bow of shiny ribbons on the top of the Christmas tree, and beads and “snowflake” balls on the branches. You can decorate the Christmas tree, as your fantasy tells, using beads, rhinestones, ribbons, stars.
