Interesting stories about love. Love stories and romantic life stories

Have you heard the tale of the Crane and the Heron? We can say that this story was copied from us. When one wanted, the other refused, and vice versa ...

Real life story

“Okay, see you tomorrow,” I said into the phone to end the conversation, which had lasted more than two hours.

One would think that we are talking about a meeting. Moreover, in a place well known to both of us. But that was not the case. We were just making arrangements for ... the next call. And everything looked exactly the same for several months. Then I called Polina for the first time in four years. And I pretended to just call to find out how she was doing, but in fact I wanted to renew the relationship.

I met her shortly before leaving school. We were both in a relationship then, but a spark really ran between us. However, only a month after we met, we parted with partners. Nevertheless, we were in no hurry to get closer. Because on the one hand, we were attracted by something in each other, but on the other hand, something constantly interfered. As if we were afraid that our connection would be dangerous. In the end, after a year of mutual study of each other, we became a couple. And if up to that time our relations developed very slowly, then since we became together everything has started to spin at a very fast pace. A period of strong mutual attraction and dizzying emotions began. We felt that we could not exist without each other. And then ... we parted.

Without any clarification. It’s just that one day we didn’t agree on another meeting. And then none of us called the other for a week, expecting this act from the other side. I even wanted to do it at some point ... But then I was young and green, and did not think to do it - I just took it and took offense at Polina for so easily abandoning our reverent relationship. So I decided not to impose on her. I knew I was thinking and acting stupid. But then I could not calmly analyze what happened. It was only after some time that I began to really understand the situation. Gradually I realized the stupidity of my act.

I think we both felt that we were a good match for each other, and just started to fear what might happen next to our "big love". We were very young, we wanted to get a lot of experience in love affairs, and most importantly, we did not feel ready for a serious, stable relationship. Most likely, we both wanted to “freeze” our love for several years, and “unfreeze” it one day, at one fine moment, when we feel that we are ripe for it. Unfortunately, this did not work out that way. After parting, we did not completely lose touch - we had many common acquaintances, we went to the same places. Therefore, from time to time we bumped into each other, and these were not the best moments.

I myself do not know why, but each of us considered it our duty to send the other a caustic sarcastic remark afterwards, as if an accusation of what had happened. I even decided to do something about it and offered to meet to discuss "complaints and grievances." Polina agreed, but ... did not come to the appointed place. And when we met by chance, two months later, she started stupidly explaining why then she made me stand pointlessly in the wind, and then didn't even call. Then she again asked me to meet, but again she did not appear.

The beginning of a new life ...

Since then, I began to deliberately avoid places where I could accidentally meet her. Thus, we have not seen each other for several years. Some rumors reached me about Polina - I heard that she was dating someone, that she had left the country for a year, but then returned and started living with her parents again. I tried to ignore this information and live my own life. I had two novels - as it seemed, very serious, but in the end nothing came of them. And then I thought: I'll talk to Polina. I could not imagine what had shot into my head then! No, I know. I missed her ... I really, really missed her ...

She was surprised by my phone call, but also delighted. We talked for several hours then. Likewise the next day. And the next one. It's hard to say what we discussed for so long. In general - all about a little and a little about everything. We tried to avoid only one topic. This topic was ourselves ...

It looked as if we, in spite of the past years, were afraid to be honest. However, one day, Polina said:

- Listen, maybe we will finally decide on something?

“No, thanks,” I replied immediately. “I don’t want to disappoint you again.

There was a silence in the receiver.

“If you’re afraid I’m not coming, you can come to me,” she finally said.

“Yeah, and you’ll tell your parents to kick me out,” I snorted.

- Rostik, stop! - Polina began to get nervous. - Everything was so good, and you ruin everything again.

- Again! - I was outraged in earnest. - Maybe you can tell me what I did?

- Most likely what you can't do. You won't call me for months.

“But you’ll call me daily,” I imitated her voice.

- Don't turn things upside down! - Polina shouted, and I sighed heavily.

- I don’t want to be left with nothing again. If you want to see me, then come to me yourself, - I announced to her. - I'm waiting for you in the evening, at eight o'clock. I hope you come ...

- Whatever, - Polina hung up the phone.

New circumstances ...

For the first time since we started calling, we had to say goodbye in anger. And most importantly, now I had no idea if she would call me again, and would she come to me? Polina's words could be interpreted exactly as an agreement to come and a refusal. However, I was expecting her. I cleaned my studio apartment, which didn't happen very often. Prepared supper, bought wine and flowers. And I finished reading the story: "". Every minute of waiting made me even more nervous. I even wanted to give up my rude behavior and intransigence in the matter of the meeting.

At fifteen minutes past eight I began to wonder whether I should go to Pauline's? I didn’t go just because she could come to me at any moment, and we would have missed each other. At nine o'clock, I lost hope. Angrily began to dial her number to tell her what I think of her. But he did not complete the matter and pressed "Hang up". Then I wanted to call again, but I thought to myself that she might regard this call as a manifestation of my weakness. I didn’t want Polina to know how worried I was that she didn’t come, and how painfully her indifference hurt me. I decided to spare her that much pleasure.

I went to bed only at 12 o'clock in the morning, but I could not sleep for a long time, because I was thinking about this situation. On average, every five minutes I changed my point of view. At first I thought that only I was to blame, because if I had not been stubborn like a donkey and came to her, then our relationship would have improved, and we would have been happy. After a while, I began to reproach myself for such naive thoughts. She would have kicked me out anyway! And the more I thought so, the more I believed in it. When I was almost asleep ... the intercom rang.

At first I thought it was some kind of mistake or joke. But the intercom kept ringing persistently. Then I had to get up and answer:

- Two o'clock in the morning! - angrily barked into the receiver.

Needless to say, I was surprised. And how! With a trembling hand, I pressed the button to open the entrance door. What will be next?

After a long two minutes I heard a call. I opened the door ... and saw Polina sitting in a wheelchair, accompanied by two orderlies. She had a cast on her right leg and right arm. Before I could ask what happened, one of the men said:

- The girl herself checked out of her own accord and insisted that we bring her here. On this, apparently, her whole future life depends.

I didn't ask anything else. The orderlies helped Polina to sit on a large sofa in the living room and quickly left. I sat down opposite her and looked at her in surprise for a whole minute.

There was complete silence in the room.

“I'm glad you came,” I said, and Polina smiled.

“I've always wanted to come,” she replied. - Do you remember how the first time we agreed to meet, but I didn’t come? Then my grandmother died. The second time my dad had a heart attack. It sounds incredible, but it's still true. As if someone didn't want us to ...

“But now, I see, you didn’t pay attention to the obstacles,” I smiled.

“It happened a week ago,” Polina pointed to the plaster cast. - Slipped on the icy sidewalk. Thought we would meet when I recovered ... but I thought I should just put in a little effort. I was worried about you ...
I didn't answer and just kissed her.

My story is very interesting. Since kindergarten I was in love with Timur. He is cute and kind. I even went to school for him ahead of schedule. We studied, and my love grew and grew stronger, but Tima did not have reciprocal feelings for me. Girls constantly curled around him, he used it, flirted with them, but did not pay attention to me. I was constantly jealous and crying, but I could not admit my feelings. Our school consists of 9 classes. I lived in a small village, and then left for the city with my parents. She entered medical college and healed quietly, peacefully. When I finished my first year, then in May I was sent to practice in the area where I lived before. But I was not sent there alone ... When I got to my native village by minibus, I sat next to Timur. He became more mature and more beautiful. These thoughts made me blush. I still loved him! He noticed me and smiled. Then he sat down and started asking me about life. I told him and asked about his life. It turned out that he lives in the city where I live, and is studying at the medical college, where I study. He is the second student sent to our district hospital. During the conversation, I admitted that I love him very much. And he told me that he loved me ... Then a kiss, long and sweet. I thought for a second and said: “Yes, she is just like that. Probably, you really miss this beauty - now that you do not see it. " “Sweetheart,” my grandfather answered me. - I see her every day. To be honest, now I see her much more clearly than when we were young. "
  2. Today I married my daughter. Ten years ago, I pulled a 14-year-old from a minivan enveloped in flames after a serious accident. The doctors' verdict was unambiguous - he would never be able to walk. My daughter visited him several times with me in the hospital. Then she started going there without me. He said: “Every Friday I usually bring my wife a beautiful bouquet of flowers and I don’t want to let her down just because I will be away from her.” After these words, he ordered 52 bouquets of flowers from me and asked me to deliver them every Friday evening to his wife's office until he returns. He's my mom's loving husband (and always makes her laugh), he has come to every soccer game I've played since I was five (I'm 17 now), and he supports our entire family by working as a construction foreman. This morning, as I searched my father's toolbox for pliers, I found a folded, dirty piece of paper on the bottom of it. It turned out to be a page torn from my father’s old diary, and it bore the date a month before my birth. It read: “I am nineteen years old, an alcoholic out of college, an unsuccessful suicide, a victim of childhood abuse and a former hijacker. And next month, the "young father" will be added to all this. But I swear I'll do my best to keep my baby well. I will become such a father to her as I myself have never had. " And ... Last week, when I found out that she had not yet chosen with whom to go to the school ball, I wanted to ask her if she would go there with me, but again I lost my heart. 42. Today I was sitting on the balcony of the hotel and saw a couple in love walking along the beach. From the way they moved, it was clear that they were crazy about each other. When they came closer, I was surprised to see that they were my parents. Nobody would say that 8 years ago they almost got divorced.
  43. I'm only 17, but my boyfriend, Jake, we've been dating for 3 years. Yesterday we spent the night together for the first time. No, we didn’t do “this” either before, or this night. 48. Today, 15 years after my grandfather's death, my 72-year-old grandmother is getting married again. I am 17 years old, and in all my life I have never seen her so happy. How nice it was to see two people so in love with each other, despite their age. And now I know it is never too late.
  49. Today, in a jazz club in San Francisco, I saw two people who were madly attracted to each other. The woman was a dwarf, and the man was two meters tall. After a few cocktails, they walked out onto the dance floor. To dance a slow dance with her, the man knelt down - and they danced all night.
  50. This morning my daughter woke me up and called me by name. I slept in the chair in her hospital room, and when I opened my eyes, I saw her beautiful smile. She was in a coma for 98 days.
  51. On this day, almost exactly 10 years ago, I stopped at an intersection, and another car drove into me from behind. The driver was a student at the University of Florida - as was I. He looked very guilty and apologized constantly. While we were waiting for the police and the tow truck, we started talking and soon, without holding back, we were laughing at each other's jokes. As a result, we exchanged numbers, but the rest, as they say, is history. We recently celebrated our 8th anniversary.
  52. Today, when I was working in a cafe, two gay men walked in holding hands. As you might expect, a fair number of visitors began to stare openly at them. And then a little girl, sitting at a table not far from me, asked her mother why these two men were holding hands. Mom replied: "Because they love each other."
  53. Today, after being separated for 2 years, my ex-wife and I finally straightened out our differences and decided to meet for dinner. We chatted and laughed for 4 hours. And before leaving, she gave me a large, plump envelope. It contained 20 love letters that she wrote over these two years. The envelope was signed "Letters that I did not send because of my stubbornness."
  54. I had an accident today that left a deep abrasion on my forehead. The doctor wrapped a bandage around my head and said not to take it off for a whole week - although I don't like it at all. Two minutes ago, my little brother came into my room - and his head was also wrapped in a bandage! Mom said that he didn't want me to feel unhappy.
  55. Today, after a long illness, my mother died of cancer. My best friend, 2,000 miles away from me, made a phone call to comfort me somehow. "What would you do if I appeared at your house now and hugged you tightly?" he asked me. “Well, I would definitely smile,” I replied. And then he rang at my door.
  56. Today, when my 91-year-old grandfather (military doctor, order bearer and successful businessman) was lying in a hospital bed, I asked him what he considered his greatest achievement. He turned to my grandmother, took her hand and said: "The fact that I have grown old with her."
  57. When I saw today how my 75-year-old grandparents behave like 14-year-olds in love and laugh at each other's stupid jokes, I realized that I was able to see for a short moment what true love is. I hope someday I will be able to find it.
  58. On this day, exactly 20 years ago, I risked my life to save a woman who was being carried away by the swift current of the Colorado River. This is how I met my wife - the love of my life.
  59. Today, on our 50th wedding anniversary, she smiled at me and said, "I wish I had met you sooner."
  60. Today my blind friend told me for a long time and colorfully how beautiful his new girlfriend is.

Deep night. Somewhere a quiet breeze runs, scattering the last dust on the damp asphalt. A light night rain added freshness to this stuffy, tortured world. Added freshness to the hearts of lovers. They stood hugging each other in the light of the street lamp. She is so feminine and gentle, who said that at 16 a girl cannot be feminine enough ?! Here age does not matter at all, only the one who is near, the closest, dearest and warmest person on earth is important. And he, most of all, is glad that she is finally in his arms. Indeed, they really say that hugs, like nothing else, convey all the love of a person, no kisses, only the gentle touch of his hands. Each of them at this minute, a minute of embrace, experiences unearthly feelings. The girl feels safe, knowing that she will always be protected. The guy shows care, feels responsibility - an unforgettable feeling in relation to his beloved and the only one.
Everything was like in the finale of the most beautiful film about happy love. But let's start from the beginning.
