DIY foil crafts for children. Foil dress - master class. Various foil crafts

There are a lot of options for creating crafts with your own hands. For this, a variety of materials are used, depending on the age and skills of the performer. One of the convenient and interesting options for work will be the manufacture of foil crafts. It can be purchased in rolls relatively inexpensively. At the same time, it is from ordinary food foil that elegant and very interesting gizmos are obtained that can be taken to an exhibition in a school or kindergarten, or simply used as home decorations. If you try hard, you can make a beautiful decoration and even a gift from colored paper and foil, which will definitely make a positive impression on the recipient.

Foil candlestick

This is a rather laborious process for children, but the result will be a very interesting decorative element that will decorate any interior. For work, you will need foil, a ruler, scissors and a pencil. First you need to cut off a large enough piece of foil. Stripes are marked on it with a pencil. From these marks, you will need to cut off long strips about 3 cm wide. It is necessary to work with foil carefully, as it tears easily, and whole strips are needed to create an elegant candlestick.

Next, each element must be rolled into a bundle. Moreover, several of these "sausages" should be thin, and some should be made denser. It is these elements that will be the frame for the candlestick. On a thick flagellum, it is necessary to retreat 6.5 cm from the edge and bend the element 90 °. After another 10 centimeters, it is necessary to do a similar procedure. Then you should take another thick tourniquet and bend it in the same way as the first. Further, both blanks are connected to each other. Two additional thick bundles must be cut into pieces and fastened to the previous blanks so that a volumetric rectangle is obtained.

The finished frame means that half of the work has already been done. Next, you need to decorate the candlestick. For this, spirals are made from thin flagella. If the elements are too large, you can cut them into two or even three pieces.

One of the square edges of the wireframe will serve as the bottom. With it, you can start decorating the candlestick. The spirals must be fastened neatly, but firmly enough. After that, the walls of the candlestick are decorated in a similar way. Finally, you need to attach the handle on the top side and insert the candle. One of the important advantages of such a craft is that it not only looks great, but it will also be safe, given that fire is used.

Foil roses

As for what other crafts can be made from foil, these are neat roses. For work, you need a ruler, wire and a vase.

First you need to take a sheet of foil and cut into long strips. The roses are lush and beautiful when they are folded from strips of about 50 centimeters. Each workpiece must be folded in half, and then carefully folded so that a delicate flower is obtained. This is a simple work, you just need to roll everything into a loose roll, and then fix the flower on one side and spread the petals on the other. A wire leg must be attached to each rose. Then it is wrapped with foil in one layer. Additionally, you can cut out the leaves and attach them to the leg.

In this way, several flowers should be made. Then they can be placed in a vase. Foil roses are perfect for decorating wall panels or carnival costumes. The flowers are strong enough, so you don't have to worry about the composition falling apart at the most inopportune moment.

Foil insects

This material is so versatile that it can be used to make both beautiful home decorations and children's crafts that are suitable for a school or kindergarten exhibition.

Many kids are very fond of various insects. They can be created from foil in several ways.

For example, if you use the method of decorating crafts with flagella, as when working on a candlestick, you will get a wonderful butterfly. To make it, you will need strips of thick foil, which is twisted into thin flagella. Additionally, you need to make one thicker, which will serve as the body and head of the butterfly. This element needs to be slightly narrowed in the neck area, and also to make one of the ends sharp. The opposite side will be the head, where you should attach a pair of wire antennae.

Then you can proceed to the most crucial stage - the creation of graceful wings. First, you need to bend two thin flagella so that they resemble the shape of the wings of a butterfly, and gently attach to the insect's body. From the rest of the flagella, you need to make various spirals, circles and curls. They are connected to each other within the wing contour. This completes the work on the foil butterfly.

Many insects, animals and birds can be made from such a comfortable and pliable material. It will be interesting for children to build a shiny silver spider.

As for how to make such a craft out of foil, you will need a chestnut and a piece of food foil for this.

First you need to wrap the small brown fruit in foil. This will be the body of the spider. Next, you should attach a head to it, which is simply twisted from the remnants of the foil. In addition, the spider must have legs. They are made by folding the bundles, as when working with a butterfly or with a candlestick. The legs must be slightly bent at an angle and carefully secured to the body. Using a marker, you can draw the spider's eyes and decorate the back.

A beautiful snail is also made from foil. It will take very little time and effort to make it, so any child can handle such work. The snail will consist of only one flagellum, which must be rolled up from a piece of foil. Next, one of the ends should be divided into two parts and the horns should be twisted. The opposite end of the tourniquet is twisted into a spiral. The result is a cute and very simple snail.

Foil carnival clothing

Considering how versatile this material is, not only toys and decorations are made of it, but also items of clothing.

Of course, you can't walk down the street in a foil outfit, but it is quite possible to use it for a matinee or themed party.

A large amount of foil can be used to make an interesting outfit for a girl. It can be a dress of an alien guest or a fairytale fairy. Boys can construct some kind of chain mail to turn him into a knight. Alternatively, parents can make a robot suit from the boxes, and then paste over it with foil.

One of the simplest outfit options for a child would be making an alien hat from foil. To do this, you need to take a segment that will be equal to two circumferences of the baby's head. Then the head is wrapped in foil, and the upper part is assembled into a bundle, which will become a kind of antenna. If you wish, you can make a couple of horns instead of an antenna, or lay out some kind of figure.

You can also make accessories for a matinee from foil. For example, parents do not have to spend money on the purchase of a crown for a princess or a magic wand for a fairy. All this can be made with your own hands from the most ordinary food foil. For example, you can take one tourniquet, create a ring out of it, and then attach several small flagella twisted in a spiral: an interesting and very unusual crown will come out. One tourniquet, to which a piece of "rain" or tinsel will be attached, can easily replace a store's magic wand. If you wish, you can create various decorations that will perfectly complement the image of the princess.

Foil is a very interesting and malleable material that is great for both beginners and more experienced craftsmen. A little imagination, and the most ordinary sheet of thinly rolled aluminum will turn into a toy, decoration or even a piece of clothing.

Foil crafts are popular because it is absolutely not difficult to make them, and they look amazing. Making crafts will be a great occasion for the whole family to spend time together. The creation of such unusual things can be of interest to both the smallest family members and adults. And the result will be an excellent decorative piece that can fit into a home interior or act as an unusual gift.

Candlestick

Required material:

  • foil measuring 200 centimeters by 21 centimeters;
  • white cardboard;
  • ruler;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

From cardboard we will make a ruler template measuring 21 centimeters by 3 centimeters. Stripes will be cut across the width of this ruler.

Cut 6 strips of 21 centimeters by 9 centimeters from the foil.

We measure the rest of the foil in strips according to the size of the template.

Twist the flagella from thin strips (crush and roll it like a "sausage").

For the frame of our flashlight, we twist the same sausages from wide strips of foil.

Making a frame:

  • We take a thick flagellum, retreat from the edge 6.5 centimeters and make a fold at right angles. After 10 centimeters from the fold, we make another one.
  • By the same principle, we bend another wire and connect them together.
  • Two such rectangles are required.
  • We divide the two thick flagella that remained into two identical parts and cut. With these halves, we need to fasten our rectangles, attaching them to the vertices.

After the frame is ready, you need to decorate it. To do this, we make 4 spirals with a diameter of 3 centimeters from thin flagella. For the manufacture of fasteners for spirals, it is necessary to cut 2 flagella into 6 identical parts.

Select one of the square edges of the frame with the bottom. All 4 spirals must be attached to the bottom with previously prepared fasteners.

For the handle of the flashlight, you need to twist two thin flagella together, leaving the edges (no more than 1.5 centimeters) free. We fix the handle on the square opposite from the bottom.

We make spirals from thin flagella and decorate the walls of the flashlight with them in the same way as we decorated the bottom. You need 6 flagella per wall. There is no need to decorate the surface with a handle.

After the decor of the lantern is finished, you can put a small candle inside and enjoy its beauty.

the Rose

Required material:

  • food foil;
  • vase;
  • decorative twigs;
  • ruler;
  • wire;
  • glue.

From the foil, you need to carefully tear off long strips of 50-60 centimeters using a ruler. We level the foil on a flat surface with the matte side up and bend the gloss on one side, up and iron it, you can glue it.

We form a lateral bend 1-2 centimeters wide.

We wrap the upper part of the foil sheet to the middle.

We roll each resulting strip of foil into a rosebud in a spiral. And from the remaining free edge we form a flower leg.

Gently separate the bud with your fingers, shaping the petals.

All created flowers can be put in a vase and supplemented with decorative elements, you get a whole composition.

Antique effect

Required material:

  • acrylic paints of colors: copper, bronze, black, brown, green;
  • art brushes (mostly hard);
  • foil;
  • glue stick;
  • A4 paper - 2 sheets;
  • a jar for water;
  • scissors.

Cut out a rectangle from the foil, slightly larger than A4 sheet.

Roll the rectangle into a loose lump.

We straighten the foil back without smoothing it.

We grease A4 sheet well with glue, then glue the foil on it, straightening it a little to the size of the sheet.

The resulting folds are slightly pressed against the sheet of paper so that they stick, but do not straighten them.

We prime the surface of the foil with a thin layer of bronze paint. Dry naturally or with a hairdryer.

Cut out a piece of the required size or use the entire sheet. Tears with fuzzy contours can be made.

We spread on the second blank A4 sheet a little bit of paint of all colors (bronze, black, green, brown) and mix with each other. But not completely mixing, but slightly combining. There should be a clear transition from lighter to darker shades.

We paint our foil with this mixture. It is better to lay out lighter shades in the center, and darker ones around the edges. It is not superfluous to add black pigment around the edges.

As a result, we get a color that resembles a swamp.

After the entire surface is painted, we proceed to drying.

To give the relief, it is necessary to squeeze a drop of bronze paint onto the pad of the fingers.

We gently run our finger along the colored foil. This will allow all of the bumps to be painted bronze and the valleys to remain black. Thus, the entire surface must be tinted. After drying, the workpiece is ready for use.

Foil background

Required material:

  • foil;
  • thick cardboard of the right size;
  • acrylic primer;
  • dish sponge;
  • glue.

We coat the cardboard with glue very carefully.

We take a piece of foil larger than the cardboard blank, crush it. Then glue the slightly crumpled foil to the cardboard.

We press it to the workpiece, first with our hands, then with a dish sponge. The main thing is not to smooth it out on cardboard, but to glue it, leaving creases.

We wrap the foil around the edges and go along the edge of the table so that the edges have clear boundaries.

Glue the wrong side of the cardboard with glue.

On the seamy side of the workpiece, you need to smooth out the foil as much as possible and glue it to the cardboard.

Soak the edge of the sponge in acrylic primer and gently rub it over the front of our background.

After the entire surface has been processed, we wet the sponge again into the soil and pass it through the background again, just not rubbing it, but trampling it into the foil.

Surface abrasions can be done with the hard side of the sponge. The background can also be made from colored foil.

Butterfly scrapbook

Required material:

  • foil;
  • acrylic paints;
  • two blanks of cardboard in the form of butterfly wings.

We prime one of the halves of the butterfly. Lightly crush the foil and glue it to the surface. It is important that no bubbles remain on the surface.

We cut off unnecessary foil strictly along the contour of the workpiece.

On the second blank, we apply numbers or symbols with coarse embossing powder.

We prime the second workpiece.

We glue the second blank in the same way. But, this time, carefully smoothing the foil so that the numbers or symbols show through.

The blanks in foil are ready and you can start finishing.

For the left side, you can take acrylic paints in white, dark pink and dark red shades.

We mix paints on a sheet of paper or newspaper with each other (it can be strong, but it can be slightly).

We take a dish sponge and brush paint on it with a brush. Then, with a hammer-in motion, we apply paint to the left blank.

After it dries, work through the surface with the hard side of the sponge to reveal the creases in the foil and add texture.

For the right side, mix the white and blue paint in a non-uniform manner.

Similarly to the left side, paint the second surface. After drying with the three hard side of the sponge, so that the embossing symbols appear.

We decorate the resulting butterfly with any desired decorative elements. You can connect the halves of the butterfly by making holes with a hole punch and inserting a ring into them, or tied with a ribbon.

A very interesting weaving technique.

Aluminum foil is a soft, natural and completely safe material. It is easy and pleasant to work with him. Foil properties such as thermal and moisture resistance significantly expand the scope of decorative products made from it.

How to weave a Snake from foil using the FoilArt technique, MK.

Foil weaving is a new fascinating type of needlework for children and adults. This detailed illustrated master class will be held for you by the author of the technique, teacher and inventor Olesya Emelyanova. To make such a flexible silver snake with your own hands, you do not need any special tools or skills, follow the simple step-by-step instructions, and you will definitely succeed! Learn new things, surprise everyone with your talents and delight your friends with unusual gifts! To work you will need aluminum foil, scissors with smooth blades without notches and a couple of eye beads. There is no special foil for weaving. The usual "Sayan" foil in a roll of the "standard" brand will do. Do not take "heat-resistant" or "extra strong" foil for weaving, they are too tough, and calluses can form on delicate fingers from working with them. The length of the roll does not matter. Usually, the width of the foil in a roll is 30 or 45 cm. Choose any, although a long roll is even preferable for weaving a snake, since you will rarely have to extend the working wire.

The foil itself is beautiful, shiny, but not very durable. Therefore, for weaving, we will use wires twisted from it. We will begin our work with the manufacture of aluminum "straw". When I work with children, I always tell them to cut the foil into strips 3 cm wide, and then carefully cut along the lines. But you, I suppose, are adults and everything is fine with an eye.

Therefore, do not waste time, but take scissors and "by eye" cut 30-40 strips of foil 2.5-3 cm wide from the roll. To prevent the foil from tearing, make long cuts (over the entire length of the blade), and after each cut, spread the ends of the scissors wide apart. Try to keep the edge of the strip free of burrs or cuts. They can cause the strip to break when twisted. Also, do not try to fold the foil before cutting into several layers, otherwise you will not be able to separate the cut strips from each other without tearing.

Now take one strip and, with grasping movements of both hands, ruthlessly fold it across the entire length.

Continue crushing the strip with your fingertips until it turns into an uneven "sausage" 5-6 mm thick.

Hold the "sausage" between the thumb and forefinger of both hands, and roll back and forth with slight pressure, slowly moving from beginning to end. If there are irregularities, then walk over them again. Do not press too hard or roll the wire with your palms on the table, it should not become stiff. You should have a flexible, rough wire 1.5-2 mm thick and about 25 cm long (if the original foil strip was 30 cm long) or 40 cm (if the original foil strip was 45 cm long).

In the same way, make wires from all the cut strips.

ADVICE: Twisting the wires does not require close attention. In order not to get bored while you are preparing the material, chat with friends, listen to music or watch a movie.

Now let's get down to the fun part. Since the foil is very shiny, for better clarity, I turn from photographs to drawn step-by-step diagrams.

Take a wire and bend it as shown in the diagram.

Now let's fill the inside of the frame with a "scaly" mesh in the manner of a "chain-link". Secure the end of the whole wire with a double turn on the frame next to the fold as shown in the diagram. We will call this fixed wire the working one.

Bend a section of the working wire 1.5 cm long in the form of an oblong flake and bend it in the opposite direction through the wire that forms the frame. Secure the kink by lightly pressing down on it with your fingers.

Then bend the work wire over the loop.

Turn the workpiece over with the back side and weave the second row of scales, fixing them at the tips of the previous row.

After finishing the row, bend the working wire over the contour again.

Continue to weave in the same way until you have filled the entire path with mesh. During weaving, make sure that the shape of the contour is not distorted.

If the working wire runs out or accidentally breaks, then take the next one, twist the ends of both wires tightly and roll the junction between the fingers with pressure.

Weaving a row of scales flush with the last fold of the contour, secure the end of the working wire on it with a double turn. Cut off the excess tip of the working wire. Now bend the ends of the contour wire into exactly the same contour (lower jaw) and fix its shape by twisting the ends of the contouring wires together, as you did when extending the working wire. Cut off the excess.

In the same way, fill in the second half of the contour with a scaly mesh, but do not fasten or cut the end of the working wire.

Smoothly bend the workpiece in half and slightly bend the mesh, making the snake's head more convex so that the scales at the base of the head are arranged in a circle.

Using the already existing working wire, continue to weave the scales, but now not in rows, but continuously in a circle.

Weave, extending the working wire, until the body of the snake reaches a length of 40-45 cm. Make sure that the thickness is the same along the entire length. If the prepared procrastination was not enough for you, then do more.

Now start tapering the torso by cutting off one scale. To do this, pass the end of the working wire not into the next scale, but through one.

Weave another 25-30 cm, and then start decreasing one scale every 3-4 rows until there are only 3 scales left. Then pass the working wire through these 3 scales several times, fixing them together and cut the end of the working wire.

Pass this blank, like a hairpin, between the scales of the head and twist the ends tightly inside the mouth, fixing the bead. Make the second eye the same way.

Then twist the ends of both wires together, leaving a forked end.

If you wish, you can make the snake two poisonous teeth. To do this, bend a half of the wire in half, put the resulting hairpin on the contour of the muzzle, twist the ends tightly and cut off the excess. Make the second tooth in the same way.

That's all! The snake is ready!

She is just like real - flexible and graceful. She will take any pose you want. Aluminum foil is not afraid of fire, water or frost. Therefore, feel free to place a ready-made snake even on a balcony or a street tree, even among lighted candles, even on a fireplace grate, even on the banks of a decorative fountain or a waterfall, at least weave it into your hairdo - nothing bad will happen to it if you don't accidentally visit it sit down or not give to be torn apart by small children.

Isn't it interesting to know what can be made of foil. Make a flower, basket, snake, snowflake, icicle, dress, dishes and even a tent from this material with the children.

DIY foil crafts - master class

If you want to decorate a summer cottage for the New Year or decorate a tree during a period when it is not blooming, then look at what wonderful silvery icicles you can make.

This is required for work:
  • aluminum foil;
  • special glue;
  • paper clips;
  • sequins;
  • scissors.
Instructions for creating:
  1. Cut strips 15 cm long from foil.Each such blank should be wedge-shaped, so it will measure 7.5 cm at the bottom and 11.5 cm at the top.
  2. Roll an icicle out of such an element. To do this, you need to rub it between your palms to make a tight tube. Lubricate it with glue and attach glitter.
  3. Pass a paperclip through each icicle. Straighten the wire slightly on one side and hang from this hook on the branch.
If you want to decorate the tree in winter, then foil snowflakes are also perfect for you.

Take:
  • metal baking sheets;
  • scissors;
  • thin brush;
  • glue gun.
You need to cut long strips of aluminum material along the entire length of the baking sheets.

Work the aluminum foil very carefully to avoid cutting yourself on the sharp edges.

On a piece of paper, draw the outlines of the future snowflake in order to attach elements here and be guided by this template.

Now comes in handy. To make the elements, wind strips of aluminum foil around the tassel.

Press on one side with your finger to get these blanks.

Using a glue gun, hold the elements of the snowflake together, and then you can place it on the tree or decorate the room with such work. A foil picture will also look great here. To do it, take:
  • canvas or plywood, which needs to be covered with light-colored paper;
  • glue;
  • foil;
  • scissors;
  • foam brush.
Turn the matte side of the foil towards you and draw petals on it with a pencil. Cut them out.

Glue the core of the flower, also cut from foil, to the canvas. Using a suitable glue and a foam brush, attach not only her, but also the petals to the center of the flower. They should be located around the core. Here is such a wonderful picture made of foil.

Also, from this material, you can make a panel similar to chasing.

To create something like this, prepare:
  • a sheet of cardboard;
  • PVA glue or acrylic;
  • shoe cream black;
  • aluminum foil;
  • glue stick;
  • cotton swab;
  • paper towels.
Draw your future landscape on a piece of cardboard. Go over his lines with glue. When it's dry, cover the entire drawing with a layer of glue stick. Place the foil on top and smooth it with your finger or fingernail. Be careful not to tear it.

Now you need to lightly press down on the material using a cotton swab. A drawing will appear. You can add strokes to it. Apply them carefully with a simple pencil, but without a lead.

Using a foam sponge, cover the embossing surface with shoe polish.

If you liked it and want to know what can be made of foil for the home, watch the next master class and step-by-step photos to it.

How to update furniture with your own hands using foil?

If you have an old nightstand, the foil will add shine to it and save it from being thrown away.

These are the wonderful interior items you will have if you take:
  • foil;
  • foam sponge;
  • suitable glue;
  • paper towel;
  • black acrylic paint;
  • polyacrylic primer.
Apply glue to the surface of the cabinet and attach small pieces of foil here. Wipe it with a piece of soft cloth or sponge to expel air.

When the glue dries, remove its remnants from the surface to be decorated with a damp cloth. Now you need to apply literally a few drops of paint and rub in gently using paper towels. When the paint dries, you need to apply three layers of polyacrylic primer to the already renovated furniture, letting each dry. This is how you can update your furniture.

If you want a new outfit to shine in it at the holiday, then you can also create a new outfit from foil.

Foil dress - master class

To do it, take:
  • dress available;
  • foil;
  • a piece of soft material;
  • scissors.
Take enough foil to cover the front of your dress. Now gently wipe the top with a soft cloth to get an imprint of the seams. Cut with seam allowance.

Fill in all parts of the garment in the same way. Now you need to put two parts of the shelf next to each other so that you get a one-piece part. Bend the seams so that the two parts of the shelf form one. Now, using the same technology, connect the front of the dress with the back, and then connect the bodice of this product to the bottom.

Wrap each seam several times so that the parts are well connected in this place and do not come apart. You can additionally glue the seams.

If you have a beautiful dress of the desired style or even just a combination, you can turn each such item into a charming evening dress.

To do this, on top of this base, you need to put foil parts and firmly connect them with glue. You will complete the petticoat if you glue the foil ruffle onto the double-sided tape.

And the next new thing is created even faster. Wear a dress with thin straps, and decorate one with a foil bow. Wrap the rest of the foil around your body and fix the pieces by twisting them. In these places, just make naughty bows.

There are other tricks that tell you what you can do with foil. If you like to weave from this material, then the next master class is just perfect for you.

How to weave from foil?

See what an interesting shiny snake you get. It does not need special equipment and materials, take:
  • aluminum foil;
  • two beads;
  • sharp scissors.
For weaving, use regular, soft foil, as hard foil can injure your fingers. Cut from it about 35 strips, each 3 cm wide.Now you just need to crumple everything in turn with your hands.

Then work with your hands again so that each of your blanks turns into such an even strip.

Now you can start weaving. Bend the first piece as shown in the following illustration.

Attach the next one to it.

Now start filling this template with scales by bending this work wire.

Perform the next row in a checkerboard pattern in relation to the previous one. The red arrow shows where to move the working thread.

Here's what you get.

And here's how to continue to weave from foil. Repeat such loops until the entire contour of the snake is filled. Now you will need to intertwine two wires as shown in the next photo.

This technique is needed when it will be necessary to connect two wires, if the working one ends. Here's what you should get for now.

Continue to weave to fill the entire snake head. Bend the two halves of this blank in half to make the head of this reptile.

We continue to weave from foil. Do this with a working tube in a circle. When the snake's body is about 40 cm, begin to narrow it. First, make one less scale, weave another 25 cm.

Now, every three or four rows, subtract one scale. When there are 3 of them left, then you need to fix the foil wire here. To do this, you need to thread a working metallized thread through the bottom three scales and rewind it several times here as in the photo.

Here's the snake you get. But you need to complete it.

To do this, it is necessary to string on two wires along a bead.

Thread them so that the eyes fall into place, and the ends of each wire must be connected in pairs to form the sting of the snake.

Here's what you can weave out of wire to make this interesting piece.

If you like newspaper weaving, then you will definitely love foil twisting as well. This metallized material holds even better than paper blanks. Therefore, you can do without glue here. If you want to teach your children such an interesting lesson, then you can create the next piece of furniture with them.

How to weave a foil basket?

You will take a minimum of auxiliary things, these are only scissors and foil. Cut the starting material into strips about 4 cm wide.

Now they need to be crumpled between the palms, and then twisted between them to get such even tubes.

Take two similar blanks and connect them crosswise, twisting once here.

They will be the main ones for now. Take another twig of foil and braid the first two tubes with it in a circle.

Let this auxiliary twig also become one of the main ones. Add one more twig in the same way, continue to weave the basket, but in a circle. Gradually give it the desired shape.

When you reach the desired height, weave three additional twigs into the top edge of the basket, fix them here and weave a pigtail from them, which will become a handle.

Fix the handle on the other side, hide the deprivation of the tips and you can admire such a wonderful basket or donate it.

Foil flowers are also wonderful.

To make a lily, take the following sizes of foil strips in the following quantities:
  • 25 by 2.5 cm? 6 pcs.;
  • 15 by 2 cm? 3 pcs.;
  • 10 by 10 cm? 1 PC.;
  • 10 by 2.5 cm? 3 pcs.;
  • 25 by 8 cm? 1 PC.

Take strips measuring 20 by 2.5 cm and twist tubes from them. And from the part, which is made in the form of a square with sides of 10 cm, roll a ball.

To make the foil flower further, place a 25 x 8 cm rectangle in front of you and place the shiny ball you just made on it. Wrap this piece so that it turns into a tube with such a circle at the end. Bend 6 blanks so that they become flower petals.

Take that blank with a ball and start fixing these petals around it. Secure all six in this way.

Roll the tubes from strips measuring 10 by 2.5 cm. Connect them on one side and on the other to form such a leaf.

Secure it at the bottom of the flower.

If you have to spend the night in the woods, then also stock up on foil. The roll of this material is light, so it will not be difficult to carry it, but it will help out outside the city more than once.

How to make a tent, foil dishes?

If spending the night in the forest is unavoidable, then find some fairly strong sticks there, for the walls of the tent you will need 4 pieces. Tie them with a rope at the top, and put the lower ends of the sticks at a sufficient distance between you. You will end up with a tripod-like device, but only consisting of four elements.

Now you need to wrap this frame with foil so that the front wall remains free. This is where you come in. If you need to spend the night in the forest in the cold season, then first light a small fire near the tent, and so that the warm air goes inside the temporary shelter, hang a door here, but place it horizontally, not vertically.

To do this, fold three sticks into a triangle. Secure this frame with rope or wire. Wrap it in foil. Place the door horizontally on the roof of your building so that it creates a small canopy at the top. Secure it in this position with a wire hook or branch of this shape.

When the fire starts, the foil canopy will serve as a reflector. The inner walls of the tent are well warmed up. When you want to rest, you will need to put out the fire, climb inside on dry foliage or grass and close the door behind you.

This is how you can make a tent and survive if you had to spend the night in the forest. As you can see, the snow that fell during the night settled on the walls of the tent, but did not go inside.

Therefore, if you go to the forest, hike, pick mushrooms, or just take a walk, be sure to take a couple of rolls of foil with you. She will help out when you need to boil water to cook food.

To do this, you must first tear off one piece of foil and give it the shape of a bowler hat, then strengthen it with several more canvases of this material. Make a sturdy handle for these utensils and slide them back into place.

If you need to melt the snow, do not lay it in a dense layer, as this process will then be very slow. Stick a few snowballs, put the pot first with one on the fire, then, when it turns into water, gradually add each additional snowball.

We suggest you learn more about this from the video. The brave traveler Timofey Bazhenov will show by his example how useful foil is in the forest.
