The theme of the week was well covered in all types of children's activities.

During the art activity we painted trees in the garden “The wind began to shake a twig, wants to pick an apple”, and made a collective appliqué “Hedgehog”.

To develop speech, they learned to compose descriptive stories about the Golden Autumn and listened to poems by famous poets. During the lesson on cognitive development, we looked at illustrations and learned how animals prepare for winter.

In play activities, new movement, round dance and finger games were learned. For independent activities of children, board and printed games “What is the name of your tree”, lotto “Native Nature”, “Which tree is the leaf from” were offered.

On Monday the conversation “Sorceress - Autumn” was held. During the conversation, we summarized and systematized ideas about the characteristic signs of autumn. The children looked at autumn landscapes, remembered folk signs, and got acquainted with proverbs.

On Tuesday the weather was beautiful and the children of the older subgroup and I went on an excursion to the autumn forest.

In the forest, the children looked at the beautiful decorations of the trees. We collected colorful leaves for crafts made from natural materials, and played games: “Which tree is the leaf from,” “1,2,3 run to the tree.” The children recited poems and remembered songs about autumn.

On Wednesday, a musical and didactic game “Vegetable Fair” was held with the pupils consolidating and generalizing ideas about vegetables and fruits, their health benefits, harvesting, and storing them for the winter.

Children learned to distinguish vegetables and fruits by touch and taste. The “Dish with Vegetables” was sculpted in the art workshop.

On Thursday we got acquainted with the life of animals and birds in autumn. Read the stories of G. Snegirev

“How birds and animals prepare for winter”, watched the presentations: “Forest inhabitants”,

Throughout the theme week, parents were good helpers, learning poems and songs about autumn with their children, and making handicrafts from natural materials together with their children.

We summed up the thematic week in the game “What, where, when?” on Friday. During the game, the children generalized their ideas about autumn, autumn phenomena in living and non-living nature, and learned to give correct and accurate answers.
