Making a wound. How to do Halloween makeup at home? How to make an artificial wound quickly and inexpensively

Protect clothing and furniture. Cover the work surface with paper. Wear a fancy dress to prevent the cut from rubbing off when you change clothes, and protect the suit with an apron or bib if you cut your face or neck.

Apply eyelash glue (optional) to the desired location. Using a damp makeup sponge, apply the glue to the area where you intend to cut and wait for it to dry. You can skip this step if you don't want to use eyelash glue. However, if you decide to apply glue, you can easily remove it later using body oil or eyelash glue remover.

Use gelatin to make fake skin. If you want to insert a fake blade or bleeding tubes into an imaginary wound, then the fake skin must be very tough. In this case, you can make fake leather from gelatin and other ingredients:

  • Heat several flat plates in the oven. The dishes should be warm, but not too hot. Place a metal baking sheet in the freezer.
  • Mix equal proportions of gelatin powder, water and liquid glycerin (soap). They should be pure ingredients with no additives.
  • Heat the mixture in the microwave for 5-10 seconds until smooth. Be careful not to burn yourself.
  • Remove the plates from the oven. Put on your gloves and pour the gelatin onto a plate (in a thin layer). The thinner the gelatin layer is, the more realistic the fake skin will look. Place a plate of gelatin on a metal baking sheet (in the freezer).

  • Make a cut in the fake leather. Place the gelatin on your skin and wait until it hardens and hardens before making a cut on it. Use a knife or fingers to cut. Use your fingers to shape the cut to make it look more realistic.

    • If you decide to make a long cut, make a long but narrow cut. For a more dire wound, make a wide incision.

  • Using a red blush or face paint, paint over the cut. You can use a paintbrush to paint the inside of the wound red. Use only products that can be used on your face. Other types of dyes can cause rashes or more serious health problems.

    • Even if the label of the product you choose says that this product is not toxic, this does not guarantee that its use is safe for your skin.

  • Paint the fake leather with a mixture of red food coloring and cocoa powder. You will need a very small amount of this mixture, so you can mix these ingredients in a small container. You should end up with dirty blood. This will give you the appearance that your cut has been exposed to dirt and air for several hours. Use a paintbrush to paint on the fake cut.

  • Apply foundation (optional) to the fake wound. To do this, use a sponge or makeup brush, or use your fingers. Apply foundation around the wound in a circular motion. The foundation can be the same shade as your skin or slightly lighter.

    • If you don't have foundation, or if the wound looks fabulous, apply a mixture of food coloring and cocoa powder.

    • Make an artificial wound for Halloween using special materials is not difficult. The most interesting thing is that you can make it from what is always at hand. Decorate yours and surprise your friends!

    To make an artificial wound, you will need:

    Colorless eyelash glue (attention: do not use it if you are allergic to latex), red glossy lipstick (not gloss), 1-2 small flat brushes, round eyeshadow brush, cotton swabs, tone-on-tone cream, matte eyeshadow for the eyelids in flesh, pink, brown, dark brown and black (see picture below).

    1. This palette shows you what shade colors you need. So:

    Nude - must be individually matched to your skin. Their purpose is to shade the tonal base.

    Pink - this will be the basis for the "blood". We will cover all the skin with them from the inside and outside of the scar.
    Brown - or eyeshadow two shades darker than your skin tone. They are used to outline the inside and outside of the scar.

    Dark brown - or shades 3-4 ton darker than your skin tone. They will be needed to shade the wound.

    Black - will create the effect of depressions on the wound.

    2. Apply eyelash glue to the place where you want to make the wound. Don't worry if bubbles form in some places in the glue. Wait for the glue to dry. You can try blow-drying it with a cold air stream. A hot stream should not be used as it can dissolve the adhesive.

    3. Check if the adhesive is dry. It shouldn't stick to your finger. There may be dried bubbles, but that's the way it should be.

    4. Apply some foundation with a cosmetic stick or makeup sponge. Press down on the dried glue lightly. If you press too hard, the adhesive will lose its original shape and may even break.

    5. Now apply body shadow on the foundation, inside and outside of our wound. Don't worry that things don't look uniform. This is the whole point.

    6. Apply pink eyeshadow to the inside of the wound and around the outside edge of the wound. This is to make the wound look irritated. In this case, we will get a more realistic effect. Blend the shadows with a round brush to blend into the skin.

    7. Apply cinnamon eyeshadow along the inside edge of the wound. Don't paint the space inside the wound, stick to the edges. This will add depth to the wound.

    8. Draw dark brown shadows around the edges inside the wound. Paint over all cracks and corners. Try not to blend the shadows too much. Decorate the outside of the wound with the same. Don't leave brown shadow behind the red outline. You can also dab some dark eyeshadow on the glue to darken some areas of the wound.

    9. Paint only the corners and valleys with black shadows. Do not expose the entire wound with them. This should give the wound even more depth.

    Making a base for the wound

    It is difficult to make up the skin around the finished wound, you can damage the future wound itself. So it's best to start with general makeup. Make up the area of \u200b\u200bskin close to the wound, or even the part that will then be under the wound. It is best to use a mixture of makeup (white, pink, nude and green) and eyeshadow (palette with shades of gray).

    Green is necessary for the correct shade - purely flesh or mixed with white will not look "corpse". Create the desired shade on the skin, but keep the makeup layer as thin as possible. Remove excess with cotton pads. You can add a few amorphous spots painted with shadows near the site for the main wound - traces of bruising or the beginning of decomposition.

    Making blood: master class

    It's just that red paint is not good: the blood, firstly, is not bright red, and secondly, the drops will look unnatural because of their too liquid consistency. Blood is a little viscous and sticky, so it's best to make it with sugar or corn syrup. To make sugar-based blood, take:

    • syrup (cooked from sugar, water, a pinch of citric acid and a pinch of soda;
    • there should be more sugar than water);
    • water (quarter glass);
    • starch (as much as water);
    • and food coloring (2 teaspoons of red and necessarily 4-5 drops of blue).

    Heat and mix all of these ingredients. The blood is brewed for at least an hour, be prepared for a long process, although it is, of course, not necessary to monitor it all this time. A blue dye is needed to achieve the desired, slightly purple hue. Adjust the color to the correct color by adding one drop at a time.

    Ready "syrupy" blood is viscous, sweet, red-burgundy and almost does not drain: it can be safely applied to the skin. Never use real material, it doesn't matter if this blood was from an animal or just juice from thawed meat or liver.

    In general, if you are not chasing realism, the wound can be indicated simply by a drip of artificial blood. But, of course, the option with scraps of flesh and voluminous areas will look worse. In order to make a fake wound, you will need:

    • glue for eyelashes;
    • foundation;
    • blood that you have done before;
    • eyeliner pencils (blue and black) and shadows;
    • paper napkin.

    Decide what your wound will be - what size and where exactly. Then make the boundaries of the wound: apply silicone glue for eyelashes on this area and gently roll its hardening film with your finger so that the tiny bead of glue is rounded on the inside of the wound, and on the outside it disappears to the skin.

    Then divide the napkin into the thinnest layers you can get. Paint the inside of the wound with an eyeliner and eyeshadow, add a little blood and smear it (let it calmly go beyond the wound), attach the torn pieces of napkin directly to it.

    Cover the structure with shadows, sprinkle with blood so that the pieces of the napkin completely change color from white (they will soak quickly). Then gently cover the remaining visible wound edges (transition from glue to skin) with foundation.

    To create wounds you will need:

    PVA glue or special makeup (latex);
    alcohol;
    cotton wool;
    paint red, brown, red-brown, blue;
    artificial blood;

    To create voluminous wounds and cuts, you can use both PVA glue and special latex, which can be found in professional cosmetics brands. The advantage of the latter is that wound bases dry faster. In both cases, it must be borne in mind that the material adheres very tightly to the skin and its removal can be accompanied by unpleasant sensations. Therefore, it is best to apply makeup on those parts of the body where there is a minimum of hair or none at all. Wounds can be done not only on the arm, but also on the neck and face.

    Since the makeup will be on the skin for a long time, it is necessary to degrease the place where the wound will be with alcohol. Then we will eliminate the appearance of irritation.

    Then apply a thin layer of glue using a stack. The brush can be used if you are making artificial cuts and wounds with a PVA base. The special makeup dries quickly and can be thrown away after the wound has been created. In any case, you need to work quickly so that the material does not dry and the wound is whole.

    We take a very thin piece of cotton wool and distribute it over the applied glue. To make the wound look realistic, the edges should seem to blend smoothly into the skin. That is, the middle of the wound will be denser, and from the center it will get thinner and thinner until it completely disappears.

    Apply a thin layer of glue on top of the cotton wool, making the edges transparent. Thus, we made a backing in order to make an artificial cut or wound.

    Now you need to decide what size you want the wound. the size of the further blank made of cotton depends on this. We tear off the strip of the required width and length. One edge should be blunt and thick, the other smoothly leaving the first to nothing. It is with the thin side that we attach the cotton wool to the glue base. The workpiece should be perpendicular to the surface on which you are making the artificial wound. We fasten the second part in the same way, only direct the thin edge to the other side. Inside, you should get an empty strip, the width of which will depend on the size of the wound.

    Now we need to cover the entire surface with glue, while simulating the cut, how it will look in the end. At first, the walls will be thick and sloppy. Then we just stack the walls as thin as possible and pointed upwards. The base of the walls on the outside should have a smooth bend. The thinner the walls and the smaller the distance between them, the more natural the wound will be.

    After our base is dry, completely cover it with a thin layer of foundation, which should match the skin color. We distribute the base outside the glue over. The tone should also dry before applying paints.

    Paints can be used for ordinary painting or special makeup. The darkest places will be in the recesses of our base. First, we completely fill the middle with blood-dark paint, namely the cut itself. We blend the paint along the outer walls of the wound, smoothly passing onto the skin. We make recesses with brown paint, also extinguishing them. Add some blue around the wound to create a bruised effect.

    We cover the most prominent parts of the wound with red paint. The wound is ready, now you can make it more dramatic.

    Fill the wound with artificial blood, making a slight drip. Blood can be made independently from gelatin, water and paint, or you can use a special one. The wound does not have to be made so red and inflamed around. You can make a neat cut with thin walls and blood.

    In the same way you made a cut, you can make an artificial bullet hole. The diameter of the hole should be 1.5-2 cm. The creation of a wound goes through the already known stages, only the wall needs to be made in the form of a ring. The top edge should flare outward slightly.

    Fill the inner part with dark paint, like all the outer recesses. We spray blood with red paint and fill the middle with blood so that it flows downward.

    It's very easy to make Halloween burns at home. To do this, we need a very thin napkin or paper handkerchief, which needs to be divided into several more layers. Squeeze the napkin into a shred and straighten it a little. Tear off a piece with fringed edges. We attach it to a layer of glue and also cover it with glue on top. You need to stick it with bumps and blisters, we are trying to achieve this effect.

    Cover with a layer of tonal base and paint with paints, adding more red. You can smear some blood as if the wounds were oozing.

    How to make a fake hand cut scar on Halloween

    Another popular place to apply makeup in the form of cut wounds and scars is the hands. True, in order to create a frightening cut on the hand, one "decorative" is not enough and you need to use real make-up.

    Necessary materials:

    • makeup or palette of eyeshadow and blush
    • powder
    • sculptural plasticine
    • alcohol and cotton wool
    • black eyeliner
    • pVA glue

    • hand cream
    • red nail polish

    Main steps:

    1. Degrease the place chosen for the scar on the hand with cotton wool and alcohol.
