It is easy to choose bright T-shirts, it is more difficult to determine their quantity, which you really need to take with you. I usually take three with me: a nicely printed T-shirt with short sleeves, a sleeveless T-shirt, or a top. They can be cotton with rayon.

And one more long one, always made of pure cotton, in order to put on after a shower. A moisturizing body gel with aloe or coconut milk, of course, is always of high quality, but it also takes time to absorb. In addition, it is very convenient to relax in it after the hot sun.

A sporty option - you can take a polo shirt for ensembles with jeans and shorts.

Summer blazers.

If you prefer the classic style even on vacation, then be sure to take it. It suits literally all things: shorts and jeans, capri pants, dresses, sundresses and skirts.

You can choose a solid color model in white or beige, or in printed fabric, depending on the color scheme of your main items.

The most versatile model is the short one. It has been in my "vacation" luggage for 7 years now, and it replaces a denim jacket, vest or bolero, both on excursions and in the evening. Looks elegant as part of any ensemble.

Evening dresses for vacation.

Of course, in the evening you want to dress more smartly, and replace beach shoes with sandals with high heels or wedges. But taking an expensive evening dress with you is not the best option, unless, of course, you are going to a fashionable resort.

For all other cases, the best choice is a long dress made of viscose, chiffon or jersey, straight silhouette or "trapeze", models with an asymmetrical bottom. Solid-colored dresses are perceived as more "evening", but from fabric with prints they will correspond to a romantic sea evening.

Such models can be worn with a knitted openwork jumper, with a short jacket without a collar, with a bolero.

A black dress always looks elegant, and on the seaside it does the same. It can be a model with a high cut, with lace, an open bodice with thin straps, or with original curly cuts that will show off your tan.

Marine accessories.

Time spent on the beach cannot be imagined without a wide-brimmed hat, a pareo, and, if desired, a bright chiffon scarf that protects the delicate skin of the neck, and which can be thrown over the shoulders, in addition to a pareo.

Comfortable shoes, stylish glasses that protect your eyes from the bright sun, a voluminous beach bag and a small bag for excursions and cafes - all these little things should also not be forgotten to take with you on vacation by the sea.

Cosmetics.

Cosmetics and hygiene products are also indispensable: sunscreens with SPF and bodies, shampoo and hair mask, shower gel and milk with aloe after it, lipstick and lip balm.

And the depilatory products that you usually use: before vacation, it is better not to experiment with new ones to avoid skin irritation.

Cosmetologists recommend not using mascara and shadows during the day, but only in the evening, in order to avoid allergic reactions. It is also better not to apply perfume and eau de toilette before going to the beach - under the influence of sunlight, age spots may remain.

Knitwear and windbreaker.

On cool evenings, knitwear is indispensable: a pullover, cardigan, long tunic or thin sweater made of cotton or cashmere, they should also fit into your luggage. On possible cool or windy days, a windbreaker, sweatshirt or summer parka, leather loafers and skinny jeans or skinny jeans will help you out.

Another indispensable item on the seaside is a vest. It can be made of raincoat fabric, corduroy, jersey or quilted polyester. Hooded preferably. Such models will protect from the wind and cloudy days, and especially in the evening, in combination with a tunic, jeans or capri pants, even a T-shirt and shorts.

Tomorrow I'm leaving for 10 days on vacation. I plan to spend 2.5 days in Istanbul, and then rest on the Mediterranean Sea. I want to tell you about what is in my suitcase and how I choose things for travel.

99% of my trips are city vacations in Europe, so I take with me the things that I wear in Moscow. This time I'm going to the sea, so the choice of things is much more relaxed than for a trip to Europe. I will not have any evening outings to the theater or restaurants, so the suitcase lacks status accessories, high-heeled shoes and dresses for the evening.

When I pack my suitcase, I keep in my head first, climate and weather... Rain requires one piece of clothing, snow another, heat a third, and so on. Secondly, I think about can i wash those things which I take with me, for example jeans or trousers, T-shirts, shirts. If I rent a house or apartment where there is a washing machine, then I can take less things than if I go to a hotel, where I have to wait for things from the laundry for two days. Thirdly, I imagine the place where i am going... Will I look appropriate? Fourth, I think through kits for all kinds of leisure: Am I just going to walk around the city or in the middle of the walk there will be a trip to a respectable restaurant, where you shouldn't come in sneakers? Do I go to the theater or a concert in the evening, should I accompany my husband to any event? How many similar events will there be?

Then I figure out how I can reduce the number of those sets that I put in my head. Can one pair of shoes match all evening dresses? Can I take comfortable flat shoes or ballet flats instead of sneakers? Do I need to take a dress in order to walk in it during the day, provided that it needs a separate pair of shoes?

In general, any collection of a suitcase begins with the choice of such shoes, in which, first of all, it will be convenient for me to walk. The filling of the suitcase depends on what kind of shoes I am going to wear. I try to choose things so that they match each other as much as possible: tops should match skirts / trousers, accessories that can turn a day outfit into a suitable one for the evening are required, the length of the dress should allow me to put on a coat on top, which I am going to take with me and so Further. This time, everything is much simpler: I only need clothes for a few days in Istanbul, which do not include any elegant restaurants and no evening cocktails, and at sea I generally think to limit myself to shorts and swimwear.

Of course, I take into account the status and nature of the place where I am going. If I were going to an expensive resort with my husband, then I would take beautiful long dresses with me, I would pick them up, for example, bracelets or long earrings, but I am going to a simple Turkish village, where I will not need all this.

1. For this trip I take 3 pairs of shoes and all without heels: universal Converse sneakers that fit both shorts and trousers, blue Jason Wu for Melissa rubber sandals that can be worn both in the city and on the beach, and These green suede Sam Edelman sandals are comfortable to walk in and perfect for walking around Istanbul. Separately, I want to say about Melissa sandals: they are very, very comfortable and look much better in the city than flip flops, which I don’t understand wearing outside the beach.

2. I take with me 2 pairs of shorts - H&M khaki and denim Gap, as well as comfortable skinny linen trousers with elastic Zara. All three pairs are suitable both for city tours and for life around the beach.

3. Three tops: a classic linen Gerard Darel vest, a Max Mara Weekend vest with a silk front panel and a two-layer Zara top. Each of these items can be found with any of the shorts or pants from the photo above. I'll also throw a couple of plain white T-shirts into my suitcase.

4. Lindex denim jacket and COS denim shirt. I don’t remember when I put on my jacket or took it with me for the last time, I decided to take it on this trip just in case it’s suddenly raining or it’s cool in the evening. Suitable for any shorts / trousers, can be worn over dresses that will be lower. The shirt can also be combined with shorts / trousers, can be worn on the beach over a swimsuit.

5. Dresses: top Gerard Darel, a simple tunic dress for the city, then striped Max Mara Weekend, designed specifically for the beach, the third - Zara, both beach and city at the same time.

6. Two scarves - H&M and don't know which brand. I take scarves without fail, I am very afraid of the southern sun, I do not walk around the city with an open neckline, I try to close myself on the beach whenever possible: wide scarves are great for this. Plus, the scarf adds meaning to any outfit, even shorts and a T-shirt. Two swimwear: Albertina and Jets by Jessika Allen, 2 pairs of glasses - Max & Co and Jimmy Fairly. I’ll think maybe I’ll take another swimsuit for a change.

7. Three bags: beach, city and roomy. The striped beachwear was included with the Max Mara Weekend beach dress and is bulky enough to hold towels and all your tanning products. Small beige Coccinelle bag is convenient for the city: it fits a guidebook, a plastic card and a phone, it can be worn cross body, which frees your hands and allows you to keep the bag always within sight; I'll put my camera and laptop in my red Prada bag and take it with me on the plane. It can also be used in the city.

I'm going to fly in trousers and a blue-and-white vest, sneakers on my legs, a blue scarf around my neck, and a red bag in my hands. Everything else will be stowed away in the suitcase.

I would also love to take a long dress on a trip, but, unfortunately, I could not find anything suitable in the stores. And I would also gladly get a small straw or cotton hat, but you can't just buy it for my big head.

And what do you definitely take on vacation from clothes?

The only thing I don’t go to sunny countries without is Panthenolspray (I take only the European one, it’s orange with a smiley face and with dexpanthenol in its composition) I have read many articles, nowhere do they write about the remedies for burns, but the sun on the sea is different and me personally protective equipment does not help.

What to take with you to the sea?

Do not fill your suitcase with a bunch of unnecessary things, take only the essentials. After all, on vacation you will definitely want to buy something. For example, a wide variety of pareos, beach bags, towels, tunics, hats, sandals, light dresses and even more jewelry can always be found in abundance at the resorts. An expensive handbag in hand is a bait for thieves. Instead of a purse, it is better to take an expensive man with you, and entrust valuable things, like a comb, to him. Relax, relax and have fun!

By the way, if no celebrations and pompous banquets are planned on vacation, leave your evening dress, hairpins, diamonds and a ton of cosmetics at home so as not to look ridiculous at a regular dinner at the hotel. It is also better to refuse to build up long nails (for some reason, nails break at sea more often than usual), and the most practical and stylish manicure on vacation is a classic or colored French manicure.
Important: do not take with you those things that have been in the closet for more than a year "for a special occasion" - they will definitely not be useful to you.

What else to take to the sea?
Don't forget the most important things during your trip:

Yes, make sure you put it in your suitcase after all. Better even to take two swimsuits - for a change. While one is wet and has not had time to dry, you will put on the second. Several swimwear is taken if you plan to stay at the sea for more than three weeks. It is advisable to have both a separate and a one-piece closed swimsuit. It is not uncommon for people to take absolutely everything with them, and forget the most important element at home. Of course, you can buy another one on the spot, but often in resort areas the clothes are very expensive. And why bother spending too much? After all, you probably bought yourself the best swimsuit a month before your vacation, which looks great on your figure.

2. Dress or sundress.
Light, loose dresses and sundresses made from natural fabrics, they can be long and shorter, in pastel colors or bright colors. It all depends on your preference. T-shirt dresses are also a great choice for relaxation. If you add sunglasses and flip-flops to them, the look is ready.

3. Shorts, tunic, tops, T-shirt.
If you are going on an excursion in the city in which you are resting, then you need to take shorts and a cotton T-shirt so that it absorbs sweat well and you do not feel any discomfort. The most open tunics, tops and T-shirts are indispensable everyday wear on hot days, you cannot do without them!

4. Evening vacation summer dress.
If you want to taste the cuisine of the country in which you will be relaxing at sea, then an evening dress will come in handy so that you have something to go to a restaurant in. It is not at all necessary that it be embroidered with beads and various stones. A discreet dress in a casual style is enough - in combination with exquisite jewelry, it will look simply gorgeous on you.
