09.09.2017 by Detki-malavki

In preschool and primary schools, teachers pay special attention not only to the logical thinking of each child, but also to their creative development. Therefore, they conduct interesting lessons that imply the creation of colorful crafts, paper origami and thematic applications.

The latter is especially often used on the eve of many holidays. So New Year's holidays are no exception to the rule, annually offering children various New Year's applications for kindergarten and school. By 2018, the fairy-tale theme of the Yellow Earth Dog had not changed much, but interesting solutions still appeared in it. Now teachers can offer their wards to make applications not only from colored and white paper, but also plasticine, fabric, cotton wool (cotton pads), napkins, beads and even cereals. Among the most interesting solutions: any breed of dog (as a tribute to the symbol of the year) in New Year's clothes, Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, Snowman, winter landscape, snowflakes, herringbone, spruce branch decorated with bright decorations, Christmas decorations, starry sky, a bag of gifts, elves, Christmas wreath, deer and even the chiming clock.

New Year's applications for the New Year 2018 for kindergarten and school

To create New Year's applications, you can use various improvised items. True, it is best to use the ones that children like best. For example, soft watt, pasta or plasticine.

Plasticine application

This material is suitable not only for creativity, but also for the development of fine motor skills. Therefore, its use is recommended in labor lessons in kindergarten and primary classes.

  • Herringbone

Blinding a Christmas tree for a child is sometimes problematic, so templates and a simple pencil come to the rescue. The meaning of the craft is to trace the outline of the Christmas tree on white cardboard, and then, with the help of plasticine, close up the free areas, decorating with yellow and red circles.

  • Bell

To create this work, the teacher needs to distribute ready-made templates for a bell cut from thick cardboard. It is also necessary to ask the students to bring a sculpting board from home so that the children do not stain their desks. But if the child has forgotten, then you can use the white sheets.

The technique is exactly the same as for the Christmas tree ... the child must apply an even layer of plasticine over the entire surface of the work, decorating at his discretion with flowers, snowflakes or stars.

  • snowman

Making a snow helper is as easy as shelling pears! It is enough to mold 3 flat balls (large, medium and small) and connect them together. For the eyelet, pens and buttons, you can use black plasticine, and for the cap and nose - orange or red.

Fabric applique

The fabric is usually used to create greeting cards for mums, dads, grandparents. However, the technique is not quite simple, so it is only suitable for students in grades 3 and 4.

  • Snowman

To make a fleece snowman, it is enough to cut out three circles from the fabric, differing in size by a few mm. After that, you need to glue each one with a special glue on a blue cardboard. Velvet, foil and twigs can be used as clothing and nose.

  • Herringbone

Distribute the Christmas tree patterns (one per desk) to the students so that they can trace the contours on the fabric and cut out the base of the craft evenly. Next, tell us how to stick on cardboard and decorate.

Colored paper applique

There are many variations of colored paper crafts. For the little ones, such as: snowflakes, a little red riding hood, a sock for gifts, a gift, a Christmas tree are suitable. Older children can be offered to make Santa Claus, a landscape, an origami dog, or even 3D volumetric crafts.

The photo shows examples that will help you choose the right idea for creating a suitable applique:

Applique from cotton wool and cotton pads

Among the simplest works made on the basis of cotton wool and cotton pads are the following: a snowman and a snowman (girl), a snow bunny, a lamb, a poodle, a fluffy snowflake. In the photo below are examples of the work that the children did:

Application on the theme Winter for kindergarten

Master Class. "New Year's panel"

Netuzhilova Olga Sergeevna, speech therapist MBDOU "Kindergarten of compensating type No. 105", Cherepovets, Vologda region.

Target: making a New Year's panel using a combination of non-traditional drawing and applique techniques.
Tasks:
- develop creativity in children;
- develop fine motor skills in children;
- to educate accuracy while performing work.
Purpose of work: this master class is designed for preschool children, parents, as well as teachers of groups of preschool institutions.
This panel can be used as an element of decorating a group for the New Year or as a handmade gift for parents.
To get the job done, we need:
- blue cardboard;
- double-sided colored paper;
- cotton pads and cotton wool;
- black beads;
- rhinestones or curly stones for decoration;
- White paint;
- PVA glue and glue-moment;
- scissors, glue brush, toothbrush, hole punch.
- figure stencils

Progress:

1.Using a toothbrush (spray technique) we create the background of the future work - white snowflakes all over the space of the front side of the cardboard.

2. While the background is drying, we prepare the materials for the applique using stencils:
- having folded the green paper in half, draw and cut out two identical Christmas trees;

- cut out three even circles of different sizes from cotton pads (our future snowman);
- we cut out a bucket and twigs from black paper, a nose-carrot from orange paper, from the remains of multi-colored paper we use a hole punch to prepare confetti to decorate the Christmas tree (you can use the ready-made one).

3. Now that all the necessary materials have been prepared, we begin to glue our blanks onto the cardboard:
- having smeared the bottom of the cardboard with PVA glue, lay out a volumetric snowdrift of cotton wool, disassembling it with your fingers into fluffy fibers:

- then we take the trees bent in half and spread it with PVA glue: the left side of the first tree, the right side of the second one and glue them next to each other to obtain one volumetric Christmas tree. Do not glue the middle part of the tree.

- for a snowman, we glue circles of cotton pads using PVA glue in accordance with the dimensions, attach twigs-pens to the middle circle with PVA glue. We decorate the snowman by gluing the nose and the bucket with PVA glue, and the eyes and bead buttons with the moment glue.

- we finish our work: we glue a lace ribbon around the edges of the cardboard, decorate the Christmas tree with confetti, and glue a few pebbles-snowflakes on a snowdrift.

4. Our New Year's panel is ready!

It happens in the world ...
It happens in the world
That only once a year
Light on the tree
A lovely star.
The star burns, does not melt
Beautiful ice glistens.
And immediately comes
Happy New Year! (I. Tokmakova)

This is a very simple applique, but in the New Year it can serve as a lovely gift and decorate your home. On the eve of big holidays, and even more so - the New Year, most of them organize thematic contests for children's and family creativity, thereby allowing children to express themselves, and parents

- to take part in the life of a small children's team.

A New Year's craft for a kindergarten should be quite expressive, but at the same time not difficult to manufacture, and even if an adult takes on the bulk of the work, the baby should also be actively involved in the creative process. One of the most affordable craft options is applique.

We show how to grease the parts with glue and stick to the main figure. The main thing here is careful work with glue, since careless handling of it can ruin the appearance of the craft. Therefore, it is better to take liquid glue in a tube with a stopper roller, or even easier - to use a glue stick.

New Year paper appliques

We offer two options for the New Year's applique for the little ones: a Christmas gift shoe and a Christmas tree. We give the kid a figurine of a Christmas tree or a shoe and offer to decorate them.

After the kid decorates the Christmas tree or slipper, we fix them on the main background. That's all!

A very beautiful herringbone applique is made from a cardboard base, sequins and threads.

New Year's applications made of paper and cotton wool

Very expressive applications on the New Year and winter theme are obtained from cotton wool.

You can decorate New Year's paper and cotton wool applications with colored stickers with your favorite characters.

Applique "Snowman" from cotton wool

One of the most beloved New Year's applications is a cotton wool snowman.

Cut out the contour of the snowman from the cotton wool and begin to glue the cotton balls onto the glue.

We glue the snowman twig handles, a scarf, buttons, a cylinder, eyes and a nose. Glue the snowman on a suitable background. The snowman application is ready!

Cotton wool snowman applique

You can make a very cute Christmas ball from the "snowman" applique - a Christmas tree decoration.

Christmas decoration "snowman"

When the entire surface of the snowman is pasted over with balls, glue the handles of the twigs. The top, nose and scarf are made of felt. We glue the buttons-balls and factory eyes. The snowman is ready!

New Year's applique from cotton pads "Snowman"

For work, we need a cardboard base, cotton pads, colored sequins and balls.

We glue cotton pads, forming snowmen out of them. We glue them factory eyes. We make the nose from balls, and the buttons from sequins. The snowmen app is ready!

New Year's applications from disposable plates "Herringbone"

The herringbone applique looks beautiful and is quite simple to perform. We color and cut the paper plate.

We glue the parts one above the other, forming a herringbone.

New Year's applications from disposable plates "Santa Claus"

Interesting applications can be made from disposable plates.

Beautiful winter application "Snow Hill" (video):

New Year pasta applique

Perhaps the most unusual winter appliques are made from pasta.

The applique can be colored with paints or decorated with sparkles.

New Year's application from plasticine

Another popular way to make an applique for the New Year is to perform it using the plasticine drawing technique. We will do it for Grandfather Frost. We smear blue plasticine on a cardboard circle - this will be the main background of the craft. We glue the body, head and beard.

We decorate the face and beard of the Grandfather from plasticine.

We sculpt grandfather a hat and hands.

We sculpt legs, a festive bag and the edge of a fur coat with mittens. We decorate the craft in a circle with a frosty pattern. The application for the New Year from plasticine is ready!

If the details of rich colors are selected, and the work is done carefully, it will look very impressive and will take its rightful place at the exhibition of children's creativity.

Bright volumetric application "New Year tree" is an easy creative work for children. It is interesting to tinker with the Christmas tree itself, and then decorate it with whatever imagination prompts.

What is needed for the application?

  • Colored green paper for the Christmas tree;
  • Some brown paper to make the barrel;
  • Cardboard of the desired color, on which you will need to glue the Christmas tree;
  • Scissors, pencil, ruler, glue stick;
  • Sequins, any New Year's decor, stickers. Decorations made with your own hands or using a figured composter.

Volumetric application "Christmas tree" step by step

To make a herringbone, you need square paper. To do this, you can fold A4 paper, directing one of the corners to the opposite side. See photo.

Then the strip on the left is cut off, and you get an even square.

Fold it in half, corner to corner, to make a triangle. Then you can immediately cut the bottom side into small strips, but it is better for children to draw lines so that they cut everything correctly and evenly. The photo shows a line along the fold, defining the area to which you want to cut the stripes. The stripes themselves are also drawn, up to 1.5 cm wide.

Carefully cut all the stripes without going beyond the drawn line. Fold on top.

Unfold the paper, as you can see, there are even stripes on the sides, converging towards the center.

All the strips were glued, and we got such a Christmas tree. The sharp tip at the very bottom must be tucked up and glued to the back of the barrel. This is an ordinary small rectangle made of brown cardboard or paper.

The Christmas tree can be decorated at this stage with various decorative elements.

Or, first, glue it on colored cardboard, and then decorate everything together.

The result is such a festive volumetric application "New Year tree".

Very interesting wadded panels, pictures or, in other words, applications for the New Year are obtained from our dear and beloved children. Sticking cotton wool and pieces of paper, and then sticking them on cardboard with your own hands is one of the favorite activities of kids. Therefore, we want to bring to your attention the most interesting children's works, taken from open sources of the Internet.

Perhaps the ideas of applications on the New Year's theme will push you to even more interesting ideas. And if not, then invite the children to make applications from cotton wool and cotton pads from the works proposed below for the new year.

New Year's applications for children 4-6 years old in kindergarten

It is in kindergarten that children begin to instill perseverance and develop a love of creativity. The kids in the group collectively make various crafts with great interest, not only from cotton pads, but also from other materials at hand. Children are especially interested in crafts made from natural materials, but more on that later. Now look at the ideas of making appliques for the new year from our dear children.

As you can see, applications for children can be made either from cotton wool and cotton pads, or in mixed media. Below is another work using cotton wool, plasticine, pasta and various cereals. Making such a panel, the child not only develops imagination, but also fine motor skills of the hands. Of course, it will be difficult for the smallest to make such a large-scale application, but when improving their skills on simpler crafts, children will be able to create such a New Year's masterpiece faster :)

It will also be interesting and easy for kids to make a Christmas tree from cotton pads. Below is one of the simplest simple ideas:

And next to the tree on the applique there may be such a bunny.

Crafts for the new year for schoolchildren of grades 1, 2, 3

For school-age children, there are also ideas for crafts from cotton wool, but more complicated. Many schoolchildren already have the skills to work with scissors, and some already in the first grade are able to cut the blanks quite evenly along the lines. Just for this age, you can make a New Year's postcard, for example, "Bears on the server pole":

You can also make just such a postcard "Happy New Year!" with elements of cotton wool applique:

The Christmas tree can be presented to mom, and the bunny to dad, or vice versa :)

For older children, it will be interesting to make such a Christmas tree:

In the first craft, cotton pads are painted and glued to a cardboard cone, in the second they are simply strung on a thread.

And in conclusion, a very interesting idea. Of course, it is difficult to call it an applique - this is a craft in which applications are partially present, but still the idea is very beautiful.

In order to make something like this, you need a box, colored paper, glue, paints, cotton wool and cotton swabs.
