For my models, I used Circassian yarn (wool mixture / acrylic).

It took about 300 grams for a scarf 180 cm long.

Width of a men's scarf with knitting needles: my two scarves are 22 cm wide. I determined the width approximately by eye from the considerations that it would be convenient to fold the long scarf around the neck, but also that it should not be too narrow.

If a man prefers short scarves, then it is enough to knit them with a width of about 15 cm. I got this size in the third model, knitted with an elastic band, because in finished form this pattern is compressed, the scarf is quite thick and there is no need to fold it in half.

I chose simple patterns for men's scarves with knitting needles, but such that the pattern was the same on both sides.

Classic men's scarf knitting with an elastic band
