Since ancient times, natural mineral clay has established itself as an effective tool for maintaining youth, beauty and health of facial skin. And so even today, in a world of many novelties and innovations, cosmetologists continue to look for ever wider ways to use this rock. A special place among the varieties of clay is occupied by pink clay, which is famous for its unsurpassed rejuvenating, tonic and soothing properties.

What is pink clay and what are its benefits for the skin

In fact, pink clay does not exist in nature. It is obtained by mixing white and red clay, the healing properties of which are well combined and suitable for the care of any type of facial skin. And given that the structure of pink clay is very soft and delicate, cosmetologists advise using it even for sensitive, irritated skin.

Pink clay has a complex effect on skin cells, combining the best qualities of white and red clay.

With regular use of pink clay, the following positive effects can be noticed:

  • softening and moisturizing dry skin;
  • elimination of foci of inflammation;
  • getting rid of acne and acne;
  • improvement of complexion;
  • smoothing fine wrinkles and smoothing the contour of the face;
  • slowing down the aging process of the skin;
  • lightening freckles and age spots;
  • restoration of impaired tissue functions;
  • narrowing of enlarged pores;
  • improvement of blood circulation;
  • skin toning;
  • reduction in the level of manifestation of allergic reactions;
  • removal of toxins and decay products through the skin pores;
  • cleansing of impurities and dead cells;
  • filling skin cells with oxygen.

The balanced composition of the clay also allows it to be used for the treatment of skin diseases: rashes, psoriasis, eczema and many others.

The inhabitants of the Ancient East assure that pink clay cleanses not only the skin, but also the aura around a person.

Features of the application at home

Cosmetic pink clay can be used both in pure form and in combination with other ingredients that will significantly enhance its effect. But in any case, some important nuances should be taken into account:

  1. For the preparation of cosmetics with clay, metal utensils should not be used, as minerals can react with metal and break down.
  2. Clay should be diluted with cool or even cold water, because at high temperatures it also loses its beneficial properties.
  3. You need to apply products with clay in a thin layer, bypassing the areas around the eyes. At the same time, the face should be well cleansed of dirt and decorative cosmetics.
  4. It is desirable to carry out the procedure for applying the mask in a horizontal position, since clay is a rather heavy material that, when standing or sitting, pulls the skin of the face down.
  5. The mask on the face should dry evenly, so after applying it and before removing it, try not to talk. If cracks still form in the mask, cover them with another layer of the mixture.
  6. You should also not allow the mask to dry completely on the face, since drying clay greatly dries the skin and draws moisture out of it. So that the mixture does not dry out too quickly, wet gauze is applied on top of it or the face is sprayed with water or herbal decoction.
  7. It is recommended to use diluted clay suspension only 1 time. In the second procedure, the mixture is prepared again.

Clay masks should be prepared in a glass, enamel or ceramic container.

To prepare a regular wellness face mask, it is enough to dilute 1-2 tbsp. l. clay powder with filtered water so that a homogeneous mass without lumps is formed. Apply the mixture for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. After cleaning, you can apply a few drops of cosmetic cream to the skin and distribute them over the entire surface of the face.

Since clay is a natural material, it usually does not cause allergic reactions. But when trying masks with other ingredients, it is still recommended not to forget to do a test for individual tolerance of the product.

If you find any signs of an allergy, you should seek the advice of a doctor.

Hello! Deciding to follow modern trends in facial skin care, many ladies go to the pharmacy for cosmetic clay. But the first glance at the pharmacy shelves can catch an unprepared buyer by surprise. There are red, and green, and blue boxes. What to give preference? But you want the effect to be obvious, and manifested immediately. Confused? Do not worry! Facial clay pink is exactly what you were looking for. And now let's see why.

What are the advantages of pink clay?

In fact, pink clay does not occur in nature. And they make it by mixing kaolin and red clay in certain proportions. Therefore, the positive qualities of both components are successfully combined in the resulting product.

  1. White clay, called kaolin, is ideal for oily skin types covered with wide pores and prone to acne and comedones. It also has some whitening effect and has an antibacterial property;
  2. red clay - rescue for sensitive skin on which allergic reactions are often shown. This type accelerates blood circulation, has a rejuvenating effect, relieves redness, peeling and itching. Well, such a remedy copes with age-related skin changes: it helps with wrinkles, eliminates sagging, tones.

The synergy of all the properties of red and white clay makes the pink derivative truly magical and can be used for any type of epidermis. This cosmetic product will especially appeal to owners of a mixed type, which requires more careful care.

Effects and composition of rose powder

By purchasing a package of pink clay, you will bring home a storehouse of calcium, magnesium, iron oxide, potassium, aluminum and other trace elements. Wonderful! But, what's the use? Indeed, I will add specifics. The use of such a natural mixture has the following effects on the skin:

  • Fights acne and blackheads;
  • Lightens spots left from acne, freckles and other areas;
  • Accelerates metabolic processes;
  • Cleanses and has an antibacterial effect;

  • Evens out complexion;
  • Promotes collagen synthesis, which slows down the aging process.

The benefits of pink clay are undeniable. This is a real universal ambulance to eliminate all skin imperfections. It is only important to know how to use it wisely. The easiest way to apply this gift of nature is to prepare a mask based on it. But you can even drink it to cleanse the body of toxins or, for example, make soap. Watch the soap making tutorial:

Apply confidently but with caution

Inspired and firmly, intending to solve all dermatological problems overnight, exhale and approach the issue consciously. Even a good beautician in the salon will not guarantee that he will eliminate any defect quickly and completely without a trace. Pink clay, according to reviews, is an excellent tool, but not a magic wand. Be patient, the more, the more serious your problem.

Remember that even this 100% natural product is important to use wisely.

  1. After washing off the masks, not cautious ladies often complain that the face has become red, peeling and other unexpected troubles have appeared. Be careful. To avoid allergic reactions, first dilute a pinch of dry product with warm water and apply to a particularly sensitive area of \u200b\u200bthe skin (wrist or elbow). Leave for a quarter of an hour and follow the reaction. If there is no redness, peeling or itching, feel free to prepare a mask.
  2. Clay masks dry out pretty quickly, and this should not be allowed. Therefore, monitor its condition, but in any case, after 15-20 minutes, it's time to wash off the product - you won't get more benefit from it.
  3. When thinking about how often you can do such cosmetic procedures, be guided by your own. Usually, once a week is enough, but for oily epidermis, one more session can be added if necessary.
  4. There are no specific instructions on how to prepare a clay mask. Dilute the dry mixture with lukewarm water and add the necessary ingredients. Make sure that the finished mass is not too liquid, otherwise it will spread.
  5. Do not dilute the mask in a metal bowl, choose a wooden or plastic bowl and spoon for this purpose, respectively.
  6. When choosing how to smear your face after applying masks, opt for a nourishing cream. Deeply cleansed and toned skin will absorb the beneficial substances that it contains with pleasure.

Important! Apply any mask only on skin that has been previously cleaned of dust and cosmetics. After cleansing, it will be useful to hold your face over a steam bath. It will open the pores and help the product to better manifest its healing properties.

What to cook with pink clay

Having paid a certain amount, you can resort to the services of specialists in a beauty salon. In this case, you only need to relax and enjoy. But if you decide to make a mask at home, then a wide range of possibilities opens up before you. Add essential oils, fruit and berry juices, teas and other ingredients to homemade blends. Sounds tempting? Check out the recipes!

Protein and lemon for whitening and narrowing pores

Great mask but not for everyone Too hard composition

  • 1 egg white,
  • a spoonful of lemon juice (can be replaced with another citrus),
  • a spoonful of oil (can be mineral),
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of clay powder
  • green tea,
  • a couple of drops of rosemary essential oil.

Whisk and combine with the rest of the ingredients. We bring to the consistency of thick sour cream with green tea, in conclusion we drip ether. Determine the time of the procedure according to your feelings.

Coconut and clay will tighten the contour of the face

This mask is suitable for aging skin that needs toning and nourishment. The scent will definitely lift your spirits! The composition is very simple: dilute pink clay with water and in a ratio of 2 to 1 to the desired consistency.

Honey with milk to nourish dry skin

We take the whole composition on a spoon:

  • milk (cream is even better),
  • cottage cheese,

We combine our main powder with the above ingredients and dilute to the desired density with warmed milk. Mmmm ... a wonderful composition, at least take it and eat it!

With vitamin for complex care

Enter a couple of drops of vitamins A and E into the prepared clay mass. The first will help relieve inflammation and lighten spots on the skin, the second will reduce wrinkles and increase blood circulation. You can replace these vitamins with a whole vitamin complex, for example, Aevit. 4-5 drops at a time will be enough. Such a mask can be used both as an anti-aging and as a nourishing mask for dry, dehydrated skin.

Cleansing with coffee

This, in general, is not a mask, it is a wonderful scrub. But we are talking about leaving, and this is the most that neither is leaving. So, composition:

  • main ingredient,
  • ground coffee,
  • tea or cream (depending on skin type).

We mix the solid components and honey in equal proportions and dilute to the desired consistency with a liquid. The mass should not be liquid, but too thick too. The main landmark is the ability to apply along massage lines, with small elements of massage. You can leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes, because the composition is very good, vitamins will nourish the dermis.

Making clay masks with fruit or vegetable puree (with potatoes, avocado, cucumber, etc.) is possible, but not very convenient - the consistency is unsuccessful. Therefore, it is better to opt for more liquid components. Juices are perfect for these purposes (it will be great with aloe) and decoctions, both herbal and fruit.

If the magical ritual of making homemade masks does not inspire you, then do not despair. Cosmetic brands have adopted pink clay and have been producing ready-made masks based on it for a long time. For example, an exfoliating mask from Delarom. In addition to the substance under discussion, it contains plant components that nourish the skin. The same type of product is produced by Clarins, Apivita, Missha, Erboristica and others.

Take care of yourself with pleasure! I hope you learned something new from this article and continue to follow the updates on the blog. See you later!

Good day!

Every woman wants to be beautiful, and what is beauty if not perfect skin?)

Clay is, in fact, an ideal product for cleansing, toning, soothing masks, and if you add different components there, you can get a moisturizing, nourishing, anti-aging or other effect.

There are different types of clay - blue, white, black, red, yellow, pink - and we will talk about the last one today.

Pink clay is a mixture of white and red clays in different proportions - that is, it combines the best aspects of two types of clay. Pink clay contains silicon, iron, magnesium, calcium, it is recommended for sensitive skin care. It has a pronounced nourishing, soothing, whitening effect, absorbs sebum, leaving the skin matte and clean. Pink clay is suitable for allergy sufferers!

Pink clay masks improve the appearance of the skin, have a rejuvenating and nourishing effect, promote skin regeneration, and stimulate metabolic processes.

Why do I love pink clay? She is soft. It is very soft in action, and is ideal when the skin is stressed in the form of solar insolation, after peeling, with allergic skin or just dry skin.

Its cleansing effect is not as noticeable as after blue clay, but still present, plus pink clay gives a wonderful complexion to the skin, I don’t know who’s to blame, but pink clay is a frequent guest in personal care before important events, because after her skin is like a ripe peach)

I use pink clay as face masks (recipes below), as foot and hand masks, as a relaxing and cleansing bath, as a hair mask, as a remedy for corns, and so on.

Now about each method in more detail.

1. Pink clay as a mask for the skin of the feet and hands- as a good nourishing and tonic agent.

Everything is simple here - I dilute it with green tea (or any other infusion, or just with water), add glycerin (moisturizing effect), sea salt (microminerals), a couple of drops of essential oil (for example, cedar or mint) - and that's it, with a special brush I put it on first on the feet, then I wrap each one in a bag, a blanket on top (it turns out a kind of compress). I also apply it on my hands with a special brush, thin polyethylene gloves on top, mittens on top - and 15 minutes in front of the TV.

After 15 minutes - voila, the skin is smooth, tender, softened, and what a nourishing effect)

2.Scalp mask- against hair loss and to reduce oiliness of the scalp.

I dilute a bag of clay to the consistency of sour cream, add aloe juice, honey, water-soluble vitamins (group B), sea salt, essential oils (tea tree is good here) - what is enough imagination for!

Then I apply with a brush along the partings on a freshly washed head, on top of a plastic bag and a warm hat - after 40 minutes I wash it off - without shampoo. The scalp only rejoices with such a mask - a pronounced effect against dandruff, a decrease in the amount of hair loss, with regular use - a decrease in the fat content of the scalp.

3.. As a cleansing and relaxing bath- if I get very tired, then I dissolve 100 grams of pink clay, 100 grams of sea salt and a couple of drops of essential oil in the bath (it is important to dissolve it separately in any container in water with sea salt). 20 minutes of such a bath - and you are like a cucumber, and what soft and tender skin after - mmm ... An important point - after such a bath it is undesirable to use soap - it is better to take a shower before.

4. K as a remedy for corns. This is my old and secret method, but I will reveal it to you.

The legs are steamed in a bath or in a basin, then a mask is prepared - chop one medium-sized sour apple in a blender, add 1 bag of clay and one bag of magnesia (sold in a pharmacy, also called Epsom salt) + a teaspoon of glycerin. All this is mixed, if it turns out dry - you can add a little water. Next, apply a thick layer on the heels, on top of a plastic bag and legs under the covers, it is advisable to put a heating pad.

The acids contained in apples, salt, which is magnesia and clay, rich in minerals, will do their job - after an hour, the corns will be very soft and can be gently filed off with a nail file.

5. Pink clay as a mask for the neck and décolleté- due to its softness, pink clay can be used there as well.

I mix to a creamy state with warm low-fat cream, add a few drops of glycerin (I will tell about its effect below), a teaspoon of oatmeal and a little honey - then, I apply it with a brush on the neck and décolleté skin, stand for 15 minutes, constantly sprinkling with mineral water - this is important to ensure that the clay does not dry the skin.

After 15 minutes, I wash off the konjac with a sponge and apply a light cream - the skin afterward shines, by the way, such a mask is the prevention of wrinkles

6. Pink clay as a face mask.

This is where I use it the most because I really like the effect after pink clay - soft glowing skin! Although the cleansing effect of pink clay is not as noticeable as, say, from blue clay, it is still there, and in addition, a wonderful effect of nourishing and improving the complexion.

I rarely do pure clay masks, usually I add something to enhance the effect. It's summer now, and this "something" is often nothing but fruits and berries. Yes, yes, the most common ones, from my dacha!

For example, very successful is this one, currant-clay mask, it has a whitening and anti-inflammatory effect, effectively tightens pores - just a miracle!

Preparing is very simple: I grind a handful of black currants in a mixer, add a few drops of glycerin, add pink clay, mix thoroughly and apply on a cleansed face. I stand for 20 minutes, constantly sprinkling with mineral water - this is important to do so that the clay does not dry the skin.

The effect is clean and soft matte skin. Currant nourishes and tones, the fruit acids that make up the composition lighten black spots, the clay mattifies and cleanses.

Do you want a moisturizing effect? Watermelon - clay mask for you!

I mix watermelon juice with pink clay, add a little ground cinnamon and green tea, a few drops of glycerin, a couple of drops of essential oil - and voila, the skin is moisturized thanks to watermelon juice and glycerin, and cinnamon, green tea and clay give a matting and anti-inflammatory effect.

No less pleasant cucumber, egg white and clay mask- cucumber and clay are whipped in a mixer, then clay is added, applied to the skin, washed off with cool water after 15 minutes (!!!). Effect - cucumber gives us hydration and nutrition, protein wonderfully tightens the skin, and clay has an anti-inflammatory effect.

As you can see, everything is simple, but what an effect!

Some advice about clay.

I have already written most of it in the blue clay review, but I will still duplicate some here and add a little more information.

1. Clay is always applied to cleansed skin without cream; before the face mask, it is advisable to wash with a mild cleanser, preferably hot water - in order to open the pores.

2. I add glycerin to all clay masks - this is a wonderful moisturizer.

3. Clay cannot be kept cooked for a long time - masks are always made strictly before use.

4. Do not let the clay dry out - this contributes to dry skin, you need to constantly spray or moisten your face with thermal water, mineral water, herbal decoction, etc.

5. It is better to wash off the clay from the face with a sponge (I love cognac - gently, but effectively), because the clay likes to remain on the face, and some varieties, for example, pink, stain the face.

6. I almost always apply clay with a brush - firstly, it is hygienic and convenient - you have clean hands, secondly, the clay is applied evenly and thinly, and thirdly, product consumption is reduced. I like this one - the best combination of price and quality.

7. Clay should not be diluted in metal utensils or use metal spoons / spatulas. I bought such a miracle set for only $ 3 - very convenient and hygienic.

MedicoMed clay is very good in quality, it has a fine grinding, there are no lumps and foreign inclusions. Some write that it is colored. Nothing of the kind, pink clay is a mixture of red and white clay, so there are reddish granules.
