To work you will need:

  • 140 g of Pekhorka "Spring" yarn (100% cotton; 250m - 100g);
  • Hook No. 2.5.

Description of the process of crocheting a Christmas napkin "Fir-trees":

We suggest you use the diagram below, it also shows all the symbols.

Crochet pattern for New Year's napkin:

For those who cannot decipher the schemes, we suggest using video tutorials and descriptions.

The first part of the master class on crocheting the central part of the napkin:

In the amigurumi ring we knit 1 VP for securing (it does not count), 5 VP (3 VP replace 1 CCH and 2 VP according to the figure), then knit * 1 CCH - 2 VP * into the ring, 11 CCH + the first 3 should be obtained in the circle VP, which replaced the CCH. We finish the work of the 2nd VP and SP in the 3rd VP of the ascent. In total, 12 CCHs are, in fact, our future 12 sections / trees. Next, knit according to the scheme.

Finish the 7th row with 3 VP between the patterns and connect with the help of the joint venture in 3 VP of lifting. Next, in each next loop you knit a joint venture, including 1 joint venture under the arch.

The second part of the master class on crocheting Christmas trees on a napkin:

So, we continue our knitting without breaking the thread. We knit our first Christmas tree. All other Christmas trees will need to be knitted with a separation of the thread and at the beginning it will always be necessary to attach the thread to the arch of 3 loops from the pattern. Let me remind you that all the Christmas trees are knitted on the front side of the napkin in accordance with the pattern.

  • 8 row: 3 VP, 2 CCH in the same arch. In total, there are 3 CCHs in this row, taking into account the airspace.
  • 9th row: 3 VP, in the last CCH of the previous row 2 more CCHs, then 1 CCH, and in 3 VP of lifting we knit 3 CCHs. In total, there are 7 CCHs in this row, taking into account the airspace.
  • Rows 10-11: knit like row 9, i.e. at the beginning of 3 VP and in the last CCH of the previous row, 2 more CCHs, then 1 CCH in each CCH of the previous row, and 3 CCHs in the 3 lifting loop of the previous row. In total, in the 10th row - 11 CCHs, taking into account the VP, and in the 11th row - 15 CCHs.

The first tier of the Christmas tree is ready. Now we turn the work and knit 1 SP in the first 6 CCHs of the previous row, starting from the very first loop. The rest of the tiers of the Christmas tree are knitted in the same way, in accordance with the scheme.

When the second tier of the Christmas tree is ready, we turn the work again and knit 1 SP in the 6 first CCHs of the previous row, starting from the very first loop. Then we knit again according to the scheme.

When the third tier of the Christmas tree is ready, then we turn the work again and knit 1 SP each, BUT already in the first 7 CCHs of the previous row, starting from the very first loop.

And now the fourth tier of the Christmas tree is ready, we turn the work and knit 1 joint venture, BUT already in the first 14 CCHs of the previous row, starting from the very first loop. Now the leg / trunk of the Christmas tree will be knitted.

  • We knit the trunk of the Christmas tree - 24 row: where the last 14th joint venture was knitted, make 3 VP and in the same loop another 1 CCH, then into the next 3 loops one CCH each, and in the next CCH of the previous row 2 CCH. In total, there are 7 CCHs in a row, taking into account the VP rise. We break the thread and hide the end.

Now we attach a new thread for knitting a new Christmas tree in 3 VPs of a 7 row pattern. According to the diagram. At the end of each level, the trees will need to be attached to the corresponding level of the previous tree of the joint venture. And then knit a joint venture according to the description. Each new tree must be knitted to the left of the previous one. When knitting the last Christmas tree, you will need to connect it on both sides of the joint venture to the first and penultimate Christmas tree. To do this, in each last row of four levels, you first knit 3 VP, make a joint venture, attaching it to the first Christmas tree, then knit the last row of the tier and at the end reattach the joint venture to the penultimate Christmas tree. Thus, you should have 12 trees. When the last Christmas tree is ready, you can break the thread and attach it in the middle of any trunk, or do it as described in the video tutorial without breaking the thread.

The third part of the master class on decorative crochet napkin strapping:

Now we start tying our napkin. So, if you did not break the thread, then unfold the work and knit 4 joint ventures, unfold the work again and knit in accordance with the scheme.

Once all the rows are knitted, fasten the thread. Hide all the ends. Wash on delicate or hand wash. Steam and iron. And your beautiful napkin is ready.

This crocheted Christmas napkin is popular among avid knitters. In what variations it is not performed! Such a cute festive decor will gladly decorate your home every year when there is snow and frost outside the window.

The napkin consists of 12 Christmas trees. If you take a closer look at the pattern of the New Year's napkin, you will see that 9 dots are applied to each Christmas tree. These are beads. As conceived by the author of the diagram, before starting work, you need to string 108 beads on a thread, and then, in the places indicated on the diagram, move the bead to the hook and knit a double crochet so that a bead remains on the front side - a stylized Christmas tree ball. I knitted without beads so that a vase or plate could be put on a napkin.

The diameter of the finished napkin, taking into account the selected yarn and hook, is 40 cm.

To crochet a New Year's napkin, I needed:

hook No. 1.3 mm;

Etamin YarnArt acrylic yarn (180 m by 30 g);

tailor's pins with wire ears (not beads at the ends!);

gauze or thin chintz for steaming;

beads - optional.

Crochet Christmas napkin: a diagram with a description

Scheme for a napkin

Many needlewomen have a lot of complaints about the scheme; they say, it falls in a wave, and that's it. Many even corrected the scheme so that there were 11 trees, not 12. But I don’t agree to a napkin of 11 trees: 12 months, the New Year also comes at 12 ... No, the number of trees should be just that!

I started knitting this napkin three years ago, but I gave it up because of that very wave. This year I pulled myself together and knitted it strictly according to the scheme. The finished napkin is moistened, steamed and ... a beautiful, even napkin is ready!

Christmas trees

Each tree is knitted separately. We knit the first completely independent; during the knitting of the second and each subsequent tree, we attach it with the tip of each "branch" to the corresponding branch of the neighboring tree (indicated by arrows in the diagram). The last tree is knitted by attaching each branch to the corresponding branches of the surrounding trees. At the end of knitting of each tree (perhaps, except for the last one) we cut the thread, and start a new tree with a new thread.

Here I am describing knitting each row of one tree; all the rest are knitted in the same way, except that it will be necessary to fasten the Christmas trees together during knitting.

Please note: if the core of the napkin and the harness are knitted in a circle, then the Christmas trees - in rows back and forth.

8 row. We apply a thread to the first arch of the previous row and knit three air lifting loops, then two double crochets around the same arch. Expand knitting.

9 row. Three air lifting loops, two double crochets in the same loop of the previous row; double crochet; three double crochets in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting.

10 row. Three lifting air loops; two double crochet in the same loop; 5 double crochets (if you are knitting with beads, then there should be a bead in the third column); 3 double crochets in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting.

11 row. Three lifting air loops; two double crochet in the same loop; 9 double crochets, three double crochets in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting.

12 row. 6 blind loops; 3 vp, 2 double crochet in the same loop as the last blind loop; 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in one loop. Expand knitting.

Row 13. 3 vp and 2 double crochets in the same loop of the previous row; 7 tbsp. with a crochet (if you knit with beads, then in the 1st and 7th columns there should be a bead each); 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting.

Row 14. 3 vp lifting, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 11 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting.

15 row. 3 vp lifting, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row; 15 Art. with a crochet; 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting. We knit six blind loops.

16 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row (note, we start knitting from the same loop in which the last blind loop is knitted). 9 tbsp. with a crochet (if you knit with beads - the bead will be in the 7th column), 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting.

17 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 13 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting.

Row 18. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 17 tbsp. with a crochet (for those who knit with beads: the beads will be in the third and 17th column), 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last loop of the previous row. Expand knitting.

19 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 21 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting. We make 7 blind loops. We start knitting the 20th row from the column in which the last blind loop has already been knitted.

20 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 13 tbsp. with a crochet (who knits with beads: one bead in the 7th column), 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting.

21 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 17 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row, we unfold the knitting.

22 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 21 tbsp. with a crochet (who knits with beads - beads in the 4th and 18th column), 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting.

23 row. 3 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 25 tbsp. with a crochet, 3 tbsp. with a crochet in the last column of the previous row. Expand knitting. We knit 14 blind loops.

24 row. We start knitting in the same loop of the previous row where we made the last blind loop. We do 3 vp. lifting, double crochet in the same loop of the previous row, 3 tbsp. with a crochet, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in one loop. Fasten and cut the thread.

Strapping

We look at the core of the napkin and determine where her face is, and where is the wrong side. We knit along the front - now the rows will be circular again.

Row 25. We begin to knit from the middle of the "trunk" of any tree. We do 3 vp. lifting, double crochet in the same loop of the previous row; Vp 3, single crochet in the last loop of the trunk; knit 7 vp and we count 6 columns after the trunk - in the sixth we insert a hook and knit a double crochet. Further - 7 vp, * 2 tbsp. with a crochet at the junction of the lower branches of the Christmas trees, 7 VP, a column with a crochet in the eighth blind loop of the lower branch of a Christmas tree, 7 VP, a single crochet in the first column of the trunk; VP 3, 2 double crochets in the central column of the trunk, 3 VP, single crochet in the last column of the trunk; VP 7, double crochet in the sixth column after the trunk of the lower branch of the Christmas tree, VP 7 * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Further - 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the last place of the junction of two trees, VP 7, a double crochet in the eighth blind loop of the lower branch of a Christmas tree, 7 VP, a single crochet in the first column of the trunk, 3 VP, a blind loop in the third vp the beginning of this series.

26 row. 6 vp, 2 st. with a crochet in one column of the previous row, * 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the next arch, vp 3, tbsp 2. with a crochet in one column of the previous row, 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the next column of the previous row, 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the next arch, vp 3, tbsp 2. with a crochet in one column of the previous row, 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the next column of the previous row * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Completion of the row: 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the next arch, vp 3, tbsp 2. with a crochet in one column of the previous row, 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet in the next column of the previous row, 3 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet around the next arch, vp 3, double crochet. Close the row with a blind loop. Go with three blind loops to the top of the arch of the previous row.

Completion of this row: 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp; 3 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, 3 vp. and 3 tbsp. with a yarn around the same arch; 7 vp, 2 st. with a yarn around the arch, 7 vp, 2 tbsp. with a crochet, a blind loop in the third loop of the beginning of this row. One blind loop to go to the top of the arch.

Row 28. 3 vp lifting, 2 tbsp. with a crochet around the arch, picot (3 vp, connecting column to the first loop), 3 tbsp. with a yarn around the same arch; * 7 vp, 2 columns with 2 crochets, knitted together (between them you can still knit a lower picot, but I considered it superfluous) - pay attention to the bases of the columns that rest on different arches; 7 vp, 3 tbsp. with a yarn around the arch, picot, 3 tbsp. with a yarn around the same arch * - repeat from * to * to the end of the row. End the row with a blind loop.

We fill in and cut all the threads.

Steaming a New Year's napkin

Perhaps, like me, the napkin went in a wave. What is needed in order to give it a complete look and straighten it.

On an ironing board or something similar (with a soft backing, into which you can stick tailor's pins and at the same time iron it with an iron on top) - I have a computer chair with a spacious seat, covered with thin calico - lay out a moistened napkin. There are two ways to moisten it: wrap it in a wet towel and leave it that way for a few minutes, or spray it with a spray bottle, roll it up and again leave it for a few minutes.

Place the damp napkin on the ironing surface with the wrong side up. Why seamy side? So that the iron does not break the crochet relief. Excessive smoothness will definitely not hurt the inside out, especially since it is not intended for prying eyes.

We pin one picot with a needle so that the tip of the needle looks towards the center of the napkin, i.e. pins are inserted not perpendicular to the surface, but at an angle of 30-45 degrees. Then we grab the picot on the opposite side of the napkin, pull it (as much as possible, but carefully) - and in the same way fix it with a second pin.

We divide each of the resulting halves visually in half and fix it with pins in the same way until there are no pins along all the extreme picots, and the napkin magically stretches and straightens.

We cover it with a thin cloth (although this is not necessary at all, but this way you at least will not burn the yarn) and iron it with steam from the center to the edges. Examine the napkin - and if everything suits you, leave it in such a crucified state until it completely cools down, but also dries.

Eva Casio specially for the site

Good afternoon dear friends!

We continue the New Year theme. Let's crochet Christmas napkins!

New Year's holidays presuppose, first of all, a long feast and a beautiful table setting with all kinds of attributes in the form of candles, Christmas trees, sheep figurines and certainly beautiful table napkins.

Little crocheted Christmas napkins are so delicate, delicate and very reminiscent of snowflakes. Such a New Year's decor will make your home especially festive, and will surprise both guests and all household members.

I chose three napkins with diagrams that I liked.

Cotton yarn of the Iris type and hook No. 1.5 are suitable for all napkins. Use bright colors, not necessarily white.

Small New Year's napkin No. 1

The napkin is crocheted from white yarn, but it is quite possible to use a colored one, suitable for.

The scheme is very simple, I will skip the description of knitting.

New Year's napkin - snowflake # 2

A New Year's napkin, especially similar to a snowflake, is knitted of yarn of two (three) colors - in the middle part, a flower of red yarn with a pink core (you can also make a red one) and petals of green melange yarn imitating the rays of snowflakes.

We also have a selection of interesting schemes. If you knit them from not very thin yarn, then you will also get wonderful New Year's napkins!

Consider a knitting pattern.

In a ring of 6 VP, we knit 1VP and 11 single crochet stitches with pink (red) yarn.

2nd row: 1 VP, 2VP, 16VP, we connect the 16th loop with the first, 2VP, 1SBN, 2VP and so on. Received six arches of the petals.

3rd row: 1ВП, 1 СБН, then we tie the petal: 1СБН, 1 half-column with 1 yarn, 5С1Н, 5С2Н, 5ВП, 5 С2Н, 5С1Н, 1 half-column, 1СБН; then 3 sc and tie the next petal. At the end of the row 1СБН.

4th row knit with green yarn. Here reading the diagram caused me a difficulty. I turned to my classmates for help, where they quickly helped me figure it out. Once again I thank Elena for this.

So, we attach the green thread to the arch of the air loops of the red petal: 1VP, 2SBN, pico, 3SBN, 2VP.

We make two yarns, insert a hook under the column of the other petal, knit yarns.

Then 1С1Н and into it a column with the remaining four crochets.

A very interesting scheme and a beautiful New Year's napkin snowflake.

New Year's napkin with openwork scallops No. 3

A simple but very effective New Year's napkin.

We knit an ordinary simple circle, and then we tie it with scallops (in the 10th row): 4С1Н (at the beginning of the row we replace the first column with 3VP), 4VP, 10 VP, we close it in a ring and connect it to the last loop of a chain of 4 VP.

Then we knit into a ring: 3VP, 3S2N, 3VP, 1SBN, 3VP, 3S2N, 3VP, 1SBN, 3VP, 3S2N, 3VP, 1SBN. And at the end of the festoon 3VP.

And I published another scheme of an interesting large New Year's napkin with Christmas trees in the article ““. Come and see it, I hope you will like it: such a very unusual and beautiful napkin.

Crocheting New Year's napkins will give you pleasure and create a pre-holiday atmosphere. After all, we always prepare for our beloved holiday in advance.

And I have this message today: the 10,000th comment was left on the last article about knitted potholders. Probably many have noticed this. The commentary was written by Dmitry Bogatyrev. Under the terms "Dmitry received a prize of 250 rubles.

Continue the pattern to the end of the row by analogy (= 4 rapports).

For increments in empty corners, repeat the 2nd and 3rd p., For increments in the filled corners (indicated by arrows in the diagram), repeat the 18th and 19th p.

Between the increments, knit with a sirloin pattern according to scheme 1 (1 segment is shown). 2nd and 3rd rows
schemes 1 and 2 are the same.

The upper left fragment of scheme 2 shows how to perform a picot, which looks different on the right fragment due to the transition from row to row.

In the last row in the corner cells, knit 7 tbsp. s / n.

Assembly

Stretch the tablecloth, moisten and dry.
