Cactus from beads step by step. Beaded cactus: a weaving pattern and a safe plant master class

Many of the most undiscovered talents live in each of us, sometimes they doze quietly, sometimes they wake up ... One of these talents is floriculture! But what are we to do if it is precisely it that does not want to wake up for anything, and all our favorite flowers from the windowsills are calling, calling for help, but we still can’t understand ... it’s hot or cold, dry, or, on the contrary, too wet?
Exit one. Get the most unpretentious flower in the world, forever blooming and always delighting us with its sophistication!

Well? Weave the most perfect flower in the world?

TRUNK:
The trunk of our flower consists of six large petals. Weave French weave. In each petal we make 8 arcs. For the latter, we collect beads of a different shade - these will be the ribs of our cactus.
When all the leaves are woven, we bend them at an angle of 90 degrees and connect them together with a wire folded in half. We straighten the ends of the wire - these will be needles.

FLOWER:
The flower consists of 24 petals of three types, stamens and pistil.

1) Petals woven from beads of two colors. We collect 10 beads of the same color on the axis. Then there will be two rows of beads of a different color. You need to weave 10 such petals.

2) Petals woven from beads of three to five colors. We collect 5 beads on the axis, you can use different colors. We weave all rows (and there are 5 of them) according to the scheme, highlighting the middle and edge of the petal with color. We weave 7 such petals.

3) The largest petals. We collect 8 beads on the axis. Weave in the same way as the petals of the second type. We make six rows. In the latter, we highlight the tip of the petal with the beads with which we wove the edges at the trunk.

4) Stamens and pistil. Stamens consist of 5 beads of different colors, simply strung on a wire.
The role of the pestle is performed by a simple bead. Through the middle of this bead we pass our stamens - five pieces.

COLLECTING OUR CACTUS:
We begin to collect the flower from the pestle, we attach our petals to it: from small to large.
We insert our flower inside the cactus. That's all!

It remains only to plant our miracle flower and enjoy its ever-blooming view!

I was inspired to create this flower by Elena Bashkatova's beadwork. Creative success to you, dear needlewomen!

Weave a cactus trunk

For the trunk, we need to weave 6 pointed leaves with French weaving technique. One sheet consists of 14 full arcs, where the last one is made of light green beads. Dial 20-22 beads, this will be the first row, around which you will already make arcs. Sew the finished leaves, then fold in half and sew in the center among themselves in several places. Along the edge, the leaves are fixed to each other with needles, which consist of wire. You need to cut 2 wires 2.5 cm and 3 cm, twist these wires so that 4 identical ends stick out, and at the base they are twisted together. Needles can be trimmed. Leave a hole at the top to insert a flower at the end.

Weave a cactus flower

The flower consists of three types of petals, pistil and stamens. According to scheme 1, weave 10 small petals, for this, cut a 42 cm wire and weave according to the pattern.
According to scheme 2, weave 7 medium petals. To do this, cut the wire 80 cm and work according to the drawing. At the end, sew the petal in the center.
According to scheme 3, weave 7 large petals. Cut the wire 90 cm long and sew the finished petal in three places, as it is very large.

Weave stamens and pistil

Stamens will need two types of 5 pieces, on a wire 35 cm long, type beads in the following sequence: 5 yellow-green, light yellow and white matte, the last one is gold. Now go back through all the beads without going through the golden one. Back to back, repeat exactly the same stamens 4 more times. The second set of stamens is woven in the same way, but dial not 5, but 7 beads each and the last one will not be a gold bead, but a 3 mm bead. Insert these 5 stamens into a light green oval bead.

cactus assembly

Wind a 2 mm wire to the stamens in the bead, then place the stamens around, after the stamens, wind small petals, then medium and large ones. Wrap the leg tightly with green threads and glue with glue. Insert the flower into the cactus. Place the cactus in a pot, fill it with plaster and decorate with pebbles or pebbles at the end.

The cactus is ready!

The flower has a wire leg that is inserted into the cactus with glue)))

We attach the flower: first you need to make a hole in the cactus for the length of the stem of the flower, then drop the “Dragon” glue there and you can insert and plant the flower itself))

These are petals for a flower - all that were used ... 18 pieces in total.

The smallest are the central petals near ...

This is a "fan" of stamens

To make a pestle, you need to weave 3 such details

Here, 3 parts for the pestle are ready!

Now you need to connect their wires to each other - weave to string beads on them

The wires are connected (woven) - you need to string beads on them

At this stage, it remains to weave together the remaining two extreme wires

The extreme wires are woven into one - it remains to string beads on it.

We collect the same amount of beads on all 3 wires. Its amount depends on how long you want the pestle ...

Now the ends of the 3 wires need to be woven together

Now you need to twist the wires in a spiral)))

The pistil is ready - we begin to form a flower from it - first you will need to drag stamens to it)))

We twist the "fan" of stamens around the pistil.

We twist the stamens clockwise around the pistil

Now you can straighten our stamens - the middle of the flower is ready!

We begin to weave the petals one at a time - we form the flower itself!

We weave the second petal, etc. We start with the thinnest petals from the middle and end with the largest ones - from the edge

Photo with a birch for comparison))) the height of the birch is 23 cm

The height of the cactus "Pink Dream" - 26 cm

In this article, we will learn how to make a beautiful and bright cactus from small high-quality beads with our own hands according to the weaving pattern and master class. Here are a few patterns for weaving cactus flowers:

Option to create a simple beaded cactus with a pattern

Cactus and beadwork seem to be incompatible things at first glance. But this is only at first glance. Bead weaving is good because you can create the most wonderful things and even plants such as a cactus. We bring to your attention a master class. It is not difficult to create a cactus from beads. To do this, it is enough to know the scheme and this process will bring you only joy. Cactus can be made in many ways. We need the following tools and materials:

  • Green beads.
  • Copper wire 0.3 mm.
  • Styrofoam or plasticine.
  • Flower beads.
  • Nippers or scissors.

We take the wire and, without cutting it off from the skein, we collect green beads on it. We need to have eight beads for one small detail. When they are already strung, it is necessary to stretch the wire in reverse through four of them, tightening it more tightly. As a result, we should have a small beaded ring. A small piece of wire should remain at one of its ends. He will play the role of the thorn of our cactus. The second end of the wire will be left approximately 5 centimeters long - for the next work. We need to make a lot of these small rings, and then combine them into bunches of six or eight pieces.

We will continue to make a cactus, combining six to eight individual rings together as in the photo.

Now we create the shape of a cactus. To do this, you can use foam or plasticine, dyed with green paint or wrapped with electrical tape. If the plasticine is too hard, then it will be difficult for us to make something out of it by attaching bunches of beads into it. There should be enough beams to cover the entire plasticine mold. To do this, the beams must be placed tightly and then gaps will not be visible. If there are not enough spare parts, then we can complete them in the course of work.

When the cactus is filled with beads on all sides, it remains to create only flowers for it. For flowers, beads can be taken in any color of your choice. It's up to you to decide what your flower will be. Much depends on your experience in beading. For beginners, it is better to take one of the simplest options. We will collect about twenty pieces of beads on the wire, and make a large loop out of it, twisting its ends tightly. Let's make six such loop petals and twist them into a flower, placing them in the required sequence. Next, we make another one of the same flower and combine them together, one on top of the second. This manipulation allows you to get a more beautiful and voluminous flower.

Let's continue to make a flower, creating its center from yellow beads. To do this, you need to make three small loops according to the same principle as flower petals. But we take only three pieces of beads for each loop. Next, we fix the center to the flower itself, and align our wires. It must be remembered that the legs of the flowers should be longer than the spines, as they should be higher than the spines of the cactus. For each cactus, you need to create about three flowers.

We study the second method of weaving a flower in a small MK

In this master class, we will look at how to weave a more complex cactus. The weaving of this cactus differs from the previous one in terms of execution technique, and it itself is unlike the cactus from the previous version. We will need the following materials and tools:

  • Wire copper 1 mm.
  • Green beads.
  • Wire cutters.

Cut three pieces of wire. One of them should be 16 centimeters, and the other two are slightly shorter (about 12-13 centimeters). For a more optimal development of the techniques for making this cactus, you need to know its shape. You can see the pictureany multifaceted cactus. So we can understand what this plant looks like. This multi-faceted cactus will look good in any home or office interior. Let's start weaving by determining the middle of each prepared wire, and put it together, connecting them in the middle. Next, you need to twist these wires using a separate segment. Next, let's separate the wires, creating separate six rays, combined with a common middle. We collect 0.3 mm green beads on the wire, measuring two meters and 40 centimeters in length. We begin to braid alternately with a thread with beads all the individual wires in a circle. We draw the wire so as to close the middle, from where all the rays of the wire come. Advancing our knitting along a circular line, we determine in each case what size of beads to leave in a certain interval.

This circular weaving must be continued until we reach the edge of the short wire, leaving free ends 0.5 centimeters long. The further we move from the middle to the end of weaving, the more beads we place in the gaps between the rays of the wire. In the case when you did not have enough wire with pre-strung beads, we do not need to despair. The remaining tail of the wire, attach to one of the rays, and continue to work with the second piece of beads.

This weaving technique allows us to create a round piece of our plant. We need five of these parts. The best number of rows of beads from the middle to the end of the sheet is 15 or 16 rows. The fact is that very large parts - it will be quite difficult for us to combine them together. Therefore, when we have created all five parts, we continue to braid our beaded cactus, which consists of five parts. Finishing work on each individual detail, we will make the last row of white transparent beads. This is necessary to complete the details.

Once all of our parts are created, we will need to tie everything together. To begin with, let's bend each of the parts at an angle of ninety degrees, then you need to combine all the parts into one product. As a result of such a combination, one monolithic product will be released. It has the form of a five-pointed star in horizontal section. The merging process begins with the fact that we attach two leaves to each other. The edge of these leaves must converge, otherwise the alignment will be incorrect.

Take a wire of medium thickness, and match the ends of the parts in several places. We will do the combination where the parts of the circles are adjacent to each other. If the arcs of the circles of the parts do not perfectly match, then it is necessary to hook on one of the parts and attach the wire to the other part where it is more favorable. The most successful combination is at the bottom, in the middle and at the top of the details. We do not cut the wires that twisted our parts to the end. It is necessary to leave about five millimeters in order to imitate the spines of the plant. After the five parts are combined into one, we will weave all the wires at the bottom of our product, creating the stalk that will be placed in the pot.

Since the cactus is empty from the inside, we will hide this emptiness with the help of a large cactus flower located on top. To create it, we need the following materials: yellow, orange, white beads, beige thread, wire cutters or scissors, 0.3 mm wire.

Detailed video for beginners

Cactus is an unusual plant, but not everyone can afford to have such a flower at home. The dream of a prickly friend can be realized by weaving it from beads. Fans and collectors of these desert inhabitants will be pleased to receive a brooch or earrings in the form of their favorite plant as a gift. Beaded cactus patterns and color schemes for them are easy to find or come up with on your own. Consider the most popular of them.

Brooch "Cactus"

A cactus brooch can be made using sew-on rhinestones, rondels, beads and seed beads available. Embroidery is done according to your own sketch on a dense fabric, for example, on felt. All blanks are cut according to the template and combined into one product. No special pattern for weaving beaded cacti is required for such a product. Sometimes, instead of embroidery, epoxy resin is used, which is simply poured into the workpiece.

A simple pattern for weaving a cactus from beads

Let's try to create a topiary in the form of a cactus. Topiary is a craft in the form of a plant, such as a small tree, popular among needlewomen. It is often referred to as the "tree of happiness". To create such unusual gizmos, you can use beaded cactus patterns and color schemes for them. These products will look great in any interior.

For work you will need:

  • green beads;
  • wire;
  • foam ball;
  • green paint - gouache or acrylic;
  • alabaster;
  • sushi stick or thick wire;
  • pot;
  • wire cutters.

We start making blanks:

Product assembly

Now you need to place the foam blank in the pot. First, dilute the alabaster and pour it into the prepared container. When the mixture has hardened slightly, insert the stick, securing the cactus in the container. After complete drying, you can paint the upper part of the "soil" in brown or gray. Fill the base with bead blanks, covering it completely - and the cactus is ready! Additionally, you can decorate it on top with a flower made in the same technique.

A beaded cactus can be made differently by covering the workpiece with rounded leaves, made according to the scheme below.

flower for cactus

Beaded cacti with schemes of various colors can be found on sites dedicated to needlework. Consider the simplest option for creating a beautiful flower. With it, the topiary will look much more attractive. A bud at the top will complete the composition. In some cases, such decoration is indispensable, since part of the workpiece remains open.

For work you will need:

The flower pattern for a beaded cactus is quite simple:

  1. Dial 12 cm of yellow beads onto the wire using a spinner.
  2. Separate 2 cm and cut off a piece of wire - this will be the base of the flower. You need to screw the rest of the wire to it: wrap it around the center in rows, forming a petal. There will be 5 rows in one leaf. The edges need to be pulled out a little to make them sharp. Fasten the wire at the ends. Make 12 petals for the inside of the flower.
  3. Now next in line are the petals of a slightly different shape for the next tier. You can change the color of the beads in the middle to get different shades. Then the bud will look more natural. The base remains the same color, and in the next 3 rows, replace the beads with white or orange. You will need 6 of these petals.
  4. For the last tier, you need petals with a base of 3 cm. Wind 3 rows of light-colored beads around it, and make the last row yellow. Collect 7 of these leaves.

Forming the center of the flower

Use a large bead as the core of the bud. Attach it to the wire. In addition to the central part, you will need the stamens of the flower. To create them, take a wire about 15 cm long. You need to collect orange beads on it and fasten the ends with a small bead or glass beads, turning it several times. Fold the wire in half and twist it, forming two stamens. Patterns of beaded cacti and color schemes may vary. Sometimes they use ready-made stamens on a wire, attaching flower petals to them. On average, 8 stamens may be needed.

Assembling a flower for a cactus

It remains to assemble the product and connect it with a cactus:

  1. First, attach the stamens to the central bead in pairs, at the same distance from each other.
  2. Collect 12 small petals in bunches of two, then fasten with the middle. It is easier to tie them with cotton thread, rather than fasten them with wire.
  3. Next, attach the petals of the second and third tiers, distributing them in a checkerboard pattern.
  4. It remains to attach a thick wire, with which the flower will be connected to the base.

Attach the flower to the top of the cactus and spread its petals. Buds can also be made according to the simplified scheme below.

Topiary is ready. Use various beaded cactus patterns and color schemes for them to create unusual crafts and delight your family and friends with them.

There is nothing difficult in weaving a cactus, even for beginner craftswomen, today's master class will confirm this. The scheme of weaving a cactus from beads will help you master the technique.

Parsing the easy circuit

You need to make a cactus according to the French weaving method. For work you will need:

  1. Green and light green beads;
  2. Yellow beads;
  3. Thin wire;
  4. Styrofoam;
  5. Green paint and brush;
  6. Glue;
  7. Scissors;
  8. Pot for flowers.

With the help of step-by-step instructions and photos, it will not be difficult for you to figure out what's what.

First of all, you need to make blanks - leaves for the cactus.

String five green beads on the wire, then twist both ends so that one of them is free.

Then string 8 green beads on it and twist the wire to the opposite side of the previously made row of beads. The next time you need to put on 9 beads and twist the wire again from the opposite side, then 14 beads and twist again.

Do not forget to form a leaf, you need to add a few beads in each row.

To get a leaf, you need to make 13 rows of green beads and two rows of light green.

According to this pattern of weaving a cactus from beads, you need to make 12 leaves, and you also need 5 sheets of 11 rows and 5 of 13, for a total of 23 sheets. Look at the photo:

To all the sheets you need to glue the wire bracket.

To make the cactus flower look "like a real one", paint the foam plastic green. To begin with, glue 5 small leaves to the top, then the middle leaves will go in a checkerboard pattern, and then the remaining leaves will fill the space on the cactus. Well, the final stage for the cactus is the placement in a pot.

flower for cactus

And now we will present you another MK "How to weave a cactus." For him you will need:

  1. Beads light green for cactus;
  2. Wire 0.3 mm;
  3. Styrofoam;
  4. flower pot;
  5. Earth or some pebbles;
  6. Dye;
  7. Beads for flowers (depending on which flower you want).

Type a lot of green beads on the wire.

Count 8 beads and, skipping the first 4, insert the wire into the remaining 4, leave the tip of the wire 1.5 cm in size, then measure 4 cm on the other side and cut off the rest. Form a loop in the shape of an oval.

It takes a lot of such loops to cover the entire surface of the future cactus.

Next, combine all the loops of five loops into a bundle. Let's start assembling a cactus, how to make it beautiful and natural? Take the foam, give it the desired shape. Then paint it green.

Plant it in a cup with earth or pebbles (so that it is stable). Now the most important thing! Insert twisted loops into the base of the cactus very densely so that there are no gaps.

When the design of the cactus is over, make a few pieces of small or one large flower. Attach to cactus.

Here's how to weave a flower:

For a flower, three types of petals, pistil and stamens are required. According to the first scheme, make 10 small petals, for this, take a wire of about 42 cm and, based on the drawing, make petals.

According to the second scheme, you need to weave 7 medium petals. For them, it is already necessary to take 80 cm of wire, at the end, sew a petal in the middle.

And finally, according to the last scheme, make the largest petals also 7 pcs. And here the wires need 90 cm. Due to the fact that the petal is large, it needs to be stitched in three places.

We complement with beauty

For a flower you need:

  1. Orange beads No. 10 and No. 15;
  2. Yellow and Light Yellow #10;
  3. White and transparent No. 10;
  4. Beads gold No. 10;
  5. An oval-shaped bead is light green;
  6. 5 yellow beads 3 mm with edges.

There should be two types of stamens, five pieces each, string beads on a piece of wire 35 cm in the following order: 5 yellow-green, light yellow and white matte, one golden. Then you need to return the wire through all the beads, except for the gold one. Make 4 more stamens in the same way. The other 5 stamens are woven in exactly the same way, but only seven each. beads, and the last one is not golden, but a 3 mm bead. Large stamens must be inserted into an oval-shaped light green bead.

Collect as follows: you need to fasten a 2 mm wire to large stamens, then distribute the stamens around them, followed by small petals, then medium and largest. After that, tightly rewind this stalk with green threads and fasten it with glue. Insert into the cactus and you're done!

Insert the glass into the flower pot, you can decorate your home.
