Andrey Pereskokov: “My clothes are for those who want to have their own, special style. "Minister of Foreign Affairs" of the city of Vladimir

Can Vladimir become a trendsetter? It is rather difficult to imagine this. But you cannot underestimate your city and, in particular, some of its inhabitants. Andrey Pereskokov is a premium clothing designer who creates things that appeal to people whose faces are familiar to the whole country. For example, actress Lyudmila Artemyeva has been wearing outfits of a local brand for several years. What does our countryman take for sophisticated fashionistas?

“I have no retail outlet and have no desire to engage in sales. I create beauty. It is for her sake that I design clothes. And when quite famous people turn to me, I only offer them something individual and exclusive. Actually, this is what all my collections are aimed at. I love to mix fabrics, furs and gems. As a result, luxurious outfits are obtained, and not only for women, but also for men. For some reason, the male sex in our city, and not only, in this regard is a little disadvantaged. Check out what the clothing stores mainly offer: everything is either black or gray and boring cut. I have a completely different presentation. An interesting image is born in my head, which is first transferred to paper, and then recreated by my experienced craftswomen.

All things are made of expensive and high-quality fabrics, many of which I bring from abroad. The price is high, but worth it. This is not mass production. For example, brocade with gold threads. Can you imagine how it looks in sunlight? Any woman in this outfit will shine like a goddess.

Here are the costumes made especially for my wife. She is an official, so she cannot afford too flashy things. But even in such very discreet dresses, she always looks bright and elegant. "

In addition to clothes, women's jewelry is also created in Andrey's creative workshop. No consumer goods. Everything is in a single copy, handmade and only from natural materials. Moreover, even exclusive boxes made by a fairly well-known company in Moscow.

“Recently I presented one of my brooches in the shape of a thistle to the famous TV presenter Arina Sharapova. She liked the decoration so much that she immediately posted it on her page in social networks. It was incredibly pleasant to me. Still, when you are highly appreciated by stars of this magnitude, a thought slips through my head: it means I’m not working in vain ”.

The Vladimir designer has a sense of style for a reason. He grew up among the children of the party elite. Mom is an official who has worked abroad for 6 years, the rest of her relatives are high-ranking military personnel. Therefore, from a young age, Andrei is used to seeing high-quality things from luxurious materials.

“I do not hide the fact that I grew up in a good family. This is why I have a taste. I remember my mother brought such chic outfits from Germany. It was just some kind of madness! So I know a lot about expensive things and I think that it is high time to open our own Fashion House in our city. After all, a huge number of tourists come to Vladimir, and we offer them the same thing. No, we have wonderful souvenir products, but the range should definitely be expanded. We have something to surprise even the connoisseurs of the fashion industry. My collections are proof of this. They were admired by the famous Moscow designer Marta Kamenskaya, who created images for Galina Vishnevskaya and Alisa Freindlich. When we met, she told me: “I recognize your things from a thousand, because you have your own, special style, your own design style”.

Andrei Pereskokov, director of the municipal exhibition center and designer from Vladimir, has created a new collection of clothes. In his creative biography, there was already a women's fashion show. Now the men's collection is ready. Vera Kulikova visited the designer's creative laboratory.

Who would have thought that a piece of denim, albeit imported from France, could inspire an image. Everything goes into the business of the designer Andrey Pereskokov. So the bearskin lying on the living room floor at home turned into details of the future jacket.

"Looking and thinking that I have such paws of a bear. Looking and thinking that it must be a man-hunter! It will be such an interesting jacket. It will be pockets."

In this creative laboratory, the designer's sketches fall into the hands of experienced tailors - Andrey Galat and Lyudmila Nikitina. They work on each model from one and a half weeks to two months. Depending on the complexity. Now the three of them are working on a new men's collection by Andrey Pereskokov. A cutter and a tailor rolled into one, Andrey Galat admits: it is interesting to create non-standard clothes for men. Galat has been sewing himself since he was 14 years old. And he knows a lot about suits, coats, jackets. The piece things that designer Pereskokov comes up with give free rein to the imagination.

Andrey Pereskokov developed his own style. Recognizable. He loves furs and Pavloposad shawls very much. Combines seemingly incongruous. And even in men's clothing he uses Pavloposad patterns. The works of the Vladimir designer were highly appreciated by the famous Moscow fashion designer Marta Kamenskaya. It was she who created the unique images of Galina Vishnevskaya, Alla Demidova, Alisa Freundlich. At a personal meeting, Kamenskaya told Pereskokov: "You have your own handwriting."

ANDREY PERESKOKOV, CLOTHING DESIGNER: "You have an amazing sense of color. And if there was a show of some kind, and there were many fashion designers, among what you are showing now, I would immediately say that it is yours. You have your own style, your own direction."

Creating fashion, Pereskokov not only uses ready-made fabrics, but also tries to invent something of his own. In his hands, an ordinary black silk cord turns into the skin of an unknown animal.

ANDREY PERESKOKOV, CLOTHING DESIGNER:“I knit myself. That is, I beat all my fingers in the blood. I knitted this jacket for about 2.5 weeks. I say: Lyuda, for whom it is easier when you sew ready-made, or for me when I knit. "

Now in the men's collection of Pereskokov there are more than a hundred things. These are the most recent models. Soon, pieces of velvet with silk and semi-precious stones will turn into a jacket, and a piece of red wool into a jacket. The designer advises all Vladimir men: more bright colors. Dilute the gray everyday life and do not be afraid to experiment in the image. Only gray and black is so boring.

Vera Kulikova, Alexander Chunaev

Andrey Pereskokov, deputy head of the culture and tourism department of the regional center, a well-known designer and author of luxury outfits, told us about his ideas. He has long been recognized both in Russia and abroad, thanks to his inimitable style of creating clothes. Exclusively handicraft, adoration of details and only natural fabrics. And also a unique technique!

Andrey Pereskokov, for example, uses an interesting "knot technology". He invented it himself. It takes up to 100 - 220 meters of cord to make a pattern for a dress. And all the knots are tied by hand. Such beauty, as Andrey Andreyevich admits, cannot leave indifferent even the most sophisticated women of fashion! The designer is sure: it is important that people who come to Vladimir to see the sights know that there is a center in our city where you can admire the beautiful, high-quality things of local designers ...

About the Fashion House

- I would be glad if the city has its own Fashion House or the House of Designers, where Vladimir's guests could come. A huge number of tourists come to us, and everyone wants to take something with them as a keepsake. Why don't we offer them ... a dress by a Vladimir designer? Matryoshka dolls, birch bark souvenirs are wonderful, but you need to move forward. And supporting the designers is a must. I am sure that this will be a breakthrough for the country as a whole; we are used to buying foreign things, but here we have an alternative. And not anyhow!

For example, the Chinese often visit us. How are they doing with fashion tourism? Gone are the days when buying clothes in Beijing was limited to buying traditional Chinese things or fakes of famous brands. Today, shops are popular there, where tourists from Europe and the United States are happy to buy things from local designers. Editors of glossy magazines come to meet local talents. Fashion is born out of these small designer houses. So why not create something of our own in Vladimir too?

On New Years and Christmas, for example, the city center is shimmery with fairy lights, and there are cozy wooden houses everywhere where you can buy a lot of interesting things. Everything is there: leather goods, souvenirs, paintings, but clothes are not. And if local designers had a desire to organize their own platform here for selling their goods, then I am sure that sooner or later Vladimir would definitely turn into a fashion center! It is important that young talents are able to declare themselves. After all, today few people come up with new projects, organize exhibitions, invite television to cover their activities. It seems that there is no fashion in Vladimir either. But things could be different!

By the way, in addition to clothing designers, there are excellent authors of hats and shoes in the regional center. It is also time for them to go to an even higher level. Fashionable tourism may be the future!

About the "face" of talent

- It is very difficult to be a talent nowadays. It is not enough to show it - it is important to demonstrate it! And you also need to have your own "face" by which you will be recognized. And create collections. My first publication in Vladimir, for example, took place in 2013. Then, as part of the aesthetic project "Transformation", many famous people in the region appeared on the stage: Maria Platanyuk, Tatyana Pozdnyakova, Elena Aksenova, Yulia Arsenina and others. They did not just demonstrate clothes, but harmoniously carried them on themselves. After all, what is the most important thing in an outfit? Uniqueness, sophistication and harmony. So that a particular dress or suit inspires you! And also to make them comfortable. If you look at the catalog with my clothes, you will see many successful women of Vladimir. Why? They are not ashamed to try it on. All my models are very painstakingly created. I do not like to talk about those who have my things, but if interested, let's touch on Moscow. For example, actress Lyudmila Artemyeva has a lot of my things: dresses, brooches, bags, shawls. I made a very interesting dress for her in the Russian style. And in general I often travel to Moscow, as well as abroad.

I am very proud to meet the Moscow fashion designer Marta Kamenskaya, who once created the images of Galina Vishnevskaya, Alla Demidova, Alisa Freundlich. At a personal meeting, she once noted: "You have your own handwriting." I cherish these words in my memory. They stimulate, like any praise from famous and truly talented people.

WORD OF THE MASTER
Andrey Pereskokov: “There are many ways of development in the fashion industry, which means business promotion for those who are interested. I believe that now is just such a period in the country when Russian people need to get used to the culture of high-quality fashion. It's so interesting to create your own unique product! And it is important that talents remain in Vladimir and the region, and not go to the capital. And for this you need to try to keep promising guys, surround them with attention, care and support. "

Trend 2016

Winter in Russia is a rather cold and harsh season, when you want to dress as warmly and comfortably as possible.

The Vladimir stylist Anna Trubova told how to look fashionable and stylish at this time, and named the most current trends of winter 2016.

Layering. For example, in cold winter it will be quite possible to combine tight trousers with a thin blouse, a voluminous jumper, a loose-fitting coat with a snood scarf. But this style can only be afforded by slender girls.

The complexity of the kits. One tandem can include at least three things, and not necessarily combined in a classic and familiar way. Contrasts and bold ideas are welcome. Comfort and convenience should come first. Therefore, take care to keep you warm.

Fur is one of the main trends of winter 2016. It can be in a woman's wardrobe not only in the form of a fur coat or short fur coat, but also in the form of trimmings on coats, skirts, jewelry, shoes and all kinds of accessories. Do not forget about artificial fur: in terms of its qualities and appearance, it is in no way inferior to natural one.

At the peak of popularity jersey- these are all kinds of voluminous sweaters, turtlenecks, dresses, pullovers. We give special preference to hand-knitted models, the main thing is to move away from the pure white knitted jersey of the previous season and succumb to the bright riot of colors of the present.

Accessories: in the trend are dimensionless unisex hats, which both men and women can safely acquire, because the size of such a headdress is large enough and you can drape it yourself.

Bulky bags. You can put anything you want in them, for example, a warm thing in case of a cold snap, cosmetics and even lunch. It is comfortable, bright and stylish.
A voluminous, warm scarf of all kinds of colors and textures. And you must always remember that to create your own style, you need to be guided by a sense of proportion, take into account your professional interests, social status, figure proportions, appearance, age parameters, and behavior style.

Let the winter be stylish, bright, fashionable and comfortable!

Love for "non-Soviet" clothing

It all started from childhood, - says Andrey. - My mother was a person with good taste and instilled in me a love for high-quality “non-Soviet” clothing. By the nature of her activity, she worked abroad for many years and brought very interesting things that favorably differ from Soviet consumer goods. We had familiar tailors who sewed things of incredible beauty from fabrics brought by my mother. Probably, this, to some extent, became the foundation that was laid in my further design career. True, he slept for a long time, waited in the wings, but then, multiplied by life experience, he shot.

I remember one day my mother brought a chameleon raincoat. Then this fabric seemed extra fashionable to me, and I sewed an amazingly beautiful windbreaker out of it. All my friends then tortured me, begging her to go to dances in order to delight their girlfriends, who had never seen such designer things before. I also remember how I came to visit my mother from Moscow, where I served in the army, and saw curtains with palm trees in her bathroom. They seemed so cool to me that I sewed Bermuda shorts and a shirt from this fabric. It turned out great, but, frankly, in Kovrov at the end of the 80s, then this fashion was not understood, and for Moscow at that time such things were at the peak of popularity - in trend (laughs - approx. Corr.)!

Then there was perestroika and the flourishing of the deficit. It was almost impossible to get anything decent. Then there was a long break - I was growing up, doing business, starting a family, traveling. From my trips, I made many interesting observations that helped me to look at fashion as a national phenomenon. Each country has its own distinctive features, which are formed by the traditions and way of life of the people living there. I didn't sew as much as I used to. Only sometimes - he altered the buttons for more suitable ones or made some correct, but unusual cuffs on his formal suit.

Everything changed at the age of 40, when I started working as the director of the "Exhibition Center" in the city of Vladimir and I had to regularly hold ceremonial events - the opening of exhibitions, presentations of various projects. Then I realized that I do not want to look like everyone else, but I want to have my own corporate identity. Just don't get me wrong: I didn't shock in the manner of Sergei Zverev, but my clothes created a festive mood - I looked bright and elegant at the same time. To do this, I had to find tailors who were able to carry out my design ideas, and at the same time give one hundred percent quality in their work. The latter for me has always been the most important condition for working with people who have created for me with their own hands, I'm not afraid of this word, masterpieces.

High mark

I have always been a person who doubts and delves into myself. I needed a specialist's assessment, - continues Andrey Pereskokov. - I made an appointment with fashion designer Marta Kamenskaya, who has been sheathe Russian pop and opera stars for many years. Mstislav Rostropovich and Galina Vishnevskaya were frequent guests in her workshop on the Arbat. Martha promised to give me 20 minutes, but in the end we talked for 2 hours. I received from this amazing woman and valuable advice, and a high assessment of my work, and a lot of inspiration for new works.

It was 5 years ago. Today I am different. A more mature and hardened comrade. It is difficult to take me out of the creative balance with some negative moments about the clothes that I create. But to be honest and without coquetry, such moments, perhaps, did not exist. People come to me who know for sure that with me they will be able to find what is close to them and what their soul responds to.

Marta Kamenskaya once told me: “You are a happy person, because you sew from expensive materials. You don't sew - you create. " I totally agree with that. Every thing that appears to me is like a child.

For several years now I have been a member of the examination committee of the Ivanovo State Political University. It is a great honor and a great responsibility for me.

Last year, the honorary chairman of the commission was the host of the "Fashionable Sentence" program Alexander Vasiliev. One of the graduates presented a white collection, and he criticized it very strongly, they say, in our Russian conditions, no one wears white, but this is his personal opinion. I see that many Russian and foreign designers are actively and fruitfully working with him. I was also interested in the collection of a student who spent a year in the Lenin Library in Moscow and made a collection of Scythian costumes. And it was an amazing combination of scientific approach and creativity ... I think five from me, a member of the Union of Designers of Russia, was the best recognition of her enormous talent.

How people from Vladimir surprised Nice

Today's fashion constantly draws on old traditions. Everything new is well forgotten old, - says Andrey. - Velvet, natural silk, lace are in vogue again. I really like to use these materials in my works.

Today I am sad that fashion is developing poorly in the Vladimir region. There are few enthusiasts who want to promote their fashion product to other regions and abroad. Yes, first of all, this requires a lot of money. But believe me, the return will be many times greater. There are still no designers who want to work in an ethno-chic style. This is the main direction for me. To put on new forms the long-forgotten old, to give a modern gloss using new technologies is cool. The foreign and domestic markets are oversaturated with things of the same type, only a new look that does not depend on fashion trends and other nonsense imposed on us by the monsters of the fashion industry can make us leaders and pay attention to what we offer. Unfortunately, now people who have money acquire vulgar fakes with flashy labels, wear things "without character." Often you have to watch the running for labels, cheap show-off and a complete lack of feeling. Although, in fairness, it should be noted that in Moscow today the trends are more advanced in the area of what should be worn by people who have money. They turn to personalized attention to their wardrobe. Almost all things should be custom-made in a single copy. Well, let's wait for these waves to approach our native shores. In the meantime, to the best of our modest capabilities, we ourselves are breaking through to foreign and Russian sites. Often visiting my wife Elena abroad, I pay attention to how European fashionistas cast envious glances at the cut and embroidery of my suits. Complimenting originality by asking who the designer is and where it can be purchased. A couple of years ago we got married in Nice. The choice of the country and place was not accidental, but it is too personal and this is not what we are talking about now. Lena was in a chic white dress made of the finest Brussels lace, over which a beautiful handmade silk shawl was draped, and I was wearing a suit that referred us to the rule of princes in Russia. Local residents and tourists literally opened a photo shoot for us - they all asked to be photographed. Believe me, Nice is difficult to surprise, but I did it.

Creating beauty isn't cheap

Today I work with four, perhaps, the coolest dressmakers in Vladimir, - Andrey Pereskokov shares his secrets. - And each of them has its own specialization - someone sews fur well, someone embroiders and embroiders with beads. It is not cheap to create beauty, but such things will always be relevant. And over the years, they can also rise in price, like a good aged wine.

I have a lot of artist friends for whom I have created something. I can name Lyudmila Artemyeva and Arina Sharapova, I will not name the others due to the fact that they do not always want to advertise what they buy and from whom. I can only say that among them there are spouses of high-ranking politicians, Russian and foreign, and, of course, local well-known townspeople.

Show to show

I am the holder of a diploma from Slava Zaitsev for the best men's collection. We took this award in the category "Ethno-chic" at the rather prestigious festival "Provincial Style" in Voronezh.

It was like this: I took five of my costumes and went to the festival. There I was horrified by the number of participants. The event was attended by 120 designers. Immediately difficulties arose with male models, with how to equip them. We still remember how an hour before the show I ran to the store to buy leatherette shoes for 600 rubles per pair, because they were size 45, and we brought 40 size shoes. But the guys tried to get into character, and we succeeded. It was euphoria when they announced our victory.

Perhaps this result inspired me to try myself on European venues. I represented Russia as the only visiting fashion designer at the international student forum in Bulgaria. It turned out superb. At the request of the organizers, I even gave a master class there. Today we were invited to participate in fashion shows in France with the theme of national peculiarities in a suit, which, in fact, I have been doing for a long time, we are invited to England. There is a very high level of the jury and the requirements for the presented models of clothes, but this also spurs in the desire to gain recognition there.

Five years ago, I saw the goal of my work in creating in Vladimir a House of Designers to replace the lost Model House at Vspolye. I would like there to be some kind of professional union where “old people” could exchange experience, and for young people it would be a creative base, a fashionable place where they would come for inspiration. But today I said goodbye to this idea, I have enough of my own affairs. In my opinion, fashion is a soft power, with which one can easily communicate with foreign partners under the conditions of sanctions.

Although, to be honest, the hope that some strong business will want to invest money in this business remains. And it's not about my personal benefit or the benefit of any particular designer. The Vladimir region can, through such projects, declare its cultural traditions, become a center of fashion attraction. For example, Italian Milan is also not the capital, but the whole world knows and goes there to dress, leaving billions of euros. So why don't we turn Vladimir into the center of traditional Russian fashion, showing the whole world the beauty of Russian costume and Russian soul?
