Crochet plaid sunflowers scheme and description. We learn to crochet a bedspread for adults and children. Crochet. Beautiful blankets with sunflowers

Crocheted towel holder. Knitted sunflower flower. Master class on knitting a sunflower flower and a towel holder.

This is a beautiful, comfortable and practical thing, suitable for any style of interior design of a kitchen or bathroom. A crocheted holder can also be a great gift that will allow you to break the ingrained stereotype that giving a towel is a bad omen. Well, let many be sure of this, but this sign does not apply to the towel holder;)

For my housemate who loves to spend time in the kitchen preparing various goodies, I knitted this towel holder. With great pleasure I will share with you the pattern and description of the knitting of this holder:

To crochet a sunflower towel holder, we will need:

- chocolate-colored yarn - approx. 20-30 gr. (you can use acrylic, cotton and other remnants of yarn, I used the remnants of wool for children Viking Baby Ull, 50 gr. = 175 m. and knitted in 2 strands);
- yellow yarn - approx. 20-30 gr. (I used the remnants of Gjestal Baby Ull wool, 50 gr. = 175 m. and knitted in 2 strands);
- a hook of a suitable size (No. 3.5);

Designations:

sc= single crochet;
pssn= double crochet;
ssn= double crochet;
vp= air loop;
ss= connecting post;
increase= 2 tbsp. b / n in one loop of the previous row;

Description of knitting:

holder base:

Row 1: Cast on ch 12 with brown thread and work 1 dc in the third st from the hook, 8 dc in subsequent stitches, then 3 dc in the last stitch of the chain, then turn the knitting over and knit 8 dc on the reverse side of the chain from ch, 1 dc in the first chain loop and 1cc to close the row. Next, knit in a circle and start each row with 3 lifting loops. [= 22]

Row 2: Ch 3 inc, 1 dc in the same st (first inc), inc, 8 dc, 3 inc, 8 dc, 1 inc, 1 dc [= 28].
3 row: ch 3, 1 dc in the same loop (first increase), 1 dc, increase, 9 dc, (increase, 1 dc) * repeat 3 times, 8 dc, increase, 1 dc, 1 sl-st [= 34] .
4 row: (raise, 2 dc) * repeat 2 times, 8 dc, (increase, 2 dc) * repeat 3 times, 8 dc, increase, 2 dc, 1 dc [= 40].
5 row: (raise, 3 dc) * repeat 2 times, 8 dc, (increase, 3 dc) * repeat 3 times, 8 dc, increase, 3 dc, 1 dc [= 46].
6-7 rows: 46 dc [= 46]
8 row: strapping according to the scheme:

note that the holder of this size is designed for a thick terry towel. For a regular kitchen towel, which is much thinner, the base of the holder should also be smaller. In this case, I recommend knitting rows 1-4, and then 2 rows without increments and the last row of binding.

Internal mount:
Turn the base of the holder to the wrong side and from the extreme loops of the first row of the base, dial a chain of 20 ch (or a smaller amount for thinner towels). Then attach the chain to the loops on the other side of the first row.
Next, knit a row of sc along the chain of ch and at the end of the row with one sl-st attach the row to the loops of the first row of the base. Knit a couple more rows of sc in the same way, knit 1 sl-st at the end of each row to attach the inner fastener to the base of the holder.
This is what the internal fastening looks like on the back side of the base of the holder:

Holder handle:
- The handle of the towel holder has 3 holes and 2 buttons, making it versatile and suitable for any type of fastening. So, for example, a towel in the holder can be hung on a hook, on a ring holder, on a door handle or a stove handle.
Turn the base of the holder right side out. From the loops of the inlaid edge of the base (a chain of 12 ch - see 1 row of the base), dial a chain of 30 ch:

Next, knit a row of sc, returning along the loops of the chain back to the base of the holder. To attach the chain to the base of the holder, knit 1 ss.
Similarly, knit another row of sc.
In the next row, you need to knit holes for buttons, for this you need to knit as follows:
- 4 sbn, 3 ch and skip 3 sbn of the previous row, 7 sbn, 3 ch and skip 3 sbn of the previous row, 7 sbn, 3 ch and skip 3 sbn of the previous row, 5 sbn 1 sl-st to attach to the base.
This is what the holder handle looks like at this stage:

We knit 2 more rows of sbn in the manner described above, and then, without tearing off the thread, we tie the handle around its entire perimeter with a “crustacean step” (I tied it in one thread):

It remains only to sew the buttons on the back of the base of the holder at a distance corresponding to the distance between the holes:

The towel holder is ready!

Now you need to figure out how to decorate the holder. You can use your imagination and leftover yarn and decorate the holder with multi-colored knitted flowers.
You can choose yarn to match the color of the towel or reverse, a contrasting color, and knit ruffles over the warp.
For children's options, you can decorate the holder with knitted muzzles of men or animals.
If the towel is planned to be colored, then you can choose a yarn that matches the color and try to repeat the pattern of the towel by crocheting it.
In general - invent, try, experiment! All in your hands.

I suggest decorating the holder with a crocheted sunflower flower:

Sunflower flower:

We knit the core of a sunflower:
Row 1: Cast on ch 2 with brown thread and end in a ring. Knit 7 sc [= 7]. Next, knit in a circle.
2 row: *increase*. Repeat * 7 times [= 14].
3 row: * increase, 1 sbn *. Repeat * 7 times [= 21].
4 row: * increase, 2 sc *. Repeat * 7 times [= 28].
5 row: *increase, 3 sbn*. Repeat * 7 times [= 35].
6 row: * increase, 4 sc *. Repeat * 7 times [= 42].
7 row: * increase, 5 sbn *. Repeat * 7 times [= 48].
8-9 rows: 48 sc [= 48].

Next, in the second loop from the hook, we knit sc, then in subsequent loops we knit pssn, ssn, 2 ss2n, ssn, pssn, sbn and a connecting loop into the next loop of the base of the sunflower to secure the petal.

For those who are better versed in knitting patterns, I suggest the following short petal pattern:

Next, we knit the petal a little longer by analogy with the previous one, for this we collect 12 ch and then in the center of the petal, instead of 2 ss2n, we knit 4 ss2n.
Here is a knitting pattern for a long sunflower petal:

We continue in the same way, alternating long and short petals around the entire circumference of the flower:

You can decorate a sunflower flower with ready-made butterflies, ladybugs or dragonflies.

Towel holder with a knitted sunflower flower is ready!

There are several different ways to knit:

  • a single canvas;
  • from square motifs;
  • from triangular motifs;
  • stripes and zigzags;
  • from the center, etc.

We knit with a single cloth - this is the longest and most difficult way in our opinion. An adult bedspread is knitted in a large size, for example 1.5 * 2 m, or even more. At first, you will not falsely move from place to place with such knitting, but the more it becomes, the more difficult it is to take work with you on the road. And if you need to knit from different balls? In addition to the product, you will also have to carry a large supply of threads. So knitting in a single fabric is acceptable if you do not plan to knit outside the home.

How much easier it is to knit with motives. Usually the motive for the bedspread does not exceed 10-20 cm in length / width. It is convenient to take such work with you and knit on the road, in the clinic, in the subway, while you are expecting a child from the section and on a walk. But the motto of a knitter is to knit every free minute of time. In addition, you can use leftovers from different glomeruli.

The advantages of knitting from motives are obvious. Although there are a couple of small but significant disadvantages - the threads will have to be constantly cut off and, as a result, the motifs will be sewn into a single canvas.

As you can see, there is no perfect method for knitting a bedspread.

Look for patterns you like, buy threads for them and knit the largest and most beautiful bedspread. It will decorate your home, and for you it will become a symbol of labor and patience, because not everyone is able to crochet such a big thing - a bedspread!

I knitted a sample from the yarn that I found at home. But she's a little rough. I advise you to take a thinner yarn for the bedspread, which contains acrylic. For example, Turkish Alize, then the consumption of yarn will be more economical.
According to my calculations, it may take about 2.5 kg of yarn approximately, maybe a little less or a little more.

Outside the window is autumn, and the soul so wants to continue the summer. Bright accents of the interior and wardrobe will help to prolong this beautiful warm season. And here you can not do without a constant companion of the sun - a sunflower. It is very easy to do it yourself. Crocheting a napkin or an elegant brooch is available even to beginner knitters. There are several ways to crochet a sunflower, the diagram and description are presented below:

Tools and materials Time: 2-3 hours Difficulty: 2/10

  • yarn for knitting chocolate brown, green and yellow;
  • hook, according to the thickness of the yarn;
  • scissors;
  • beads or beads;
  • thread and needle;
  • brooch pin;
  • foam rubber

Lesson 1

Step by step description with diagram

Step 1: Knit the middle

We start crocheting a sunflower from the middle. To do this, you need to take chocolate brown yarn and a hook. We start knitting with a set of a chain of 5 air loops. We close the chain into a ring with a connecting loop. Next, we continue knitting according to the pattern shown in the photo:

The scheme uses double crochets combined into one "lush column" in alternation with air loops.

So, in the second row it is necessary to knit 5 "lush columns", which are separated from each other with the help of 4 air loops.

Next, we knit lifting loops (3 pieces) and continue circular knitting with “lush columns”. IN third row their number is doubled. The number of dividing air loops between the columns remains the same.

IN fourth row the number of “lush columns” doubles again, and the dividing air loops become a little less - not 4, but 3.

Fifth row completes the center piece. There is no increase in the number of “lush columns” here, their number remains the same and equals 20. There are more dividing air loops. Their number is 4.

Step 2: Knitting flower petals

To knit the petals, you will need yellow yarn. The thickness of the yarn should not differ from the thickness of the previous thread.

We start knitting by fixing the thread and knitting three lifting loops. Next, you need to knit 6 more air loops and fasten the chain to the already connected workpiece in the places indicated in the diagram (see above). After that, we continue knitting by dialing 8 air loops, followed by fixing the chain on the product. In total, you need to knit 20 chains or arches.

The next row must be knitted with double crochets. Each column is knitted in one loop. The only exceptions are the air loops at the top of each arch. In this loop, it is necessary to knit immediately along the double crochet. Subsequent rows are knitted similarly, in accordance with the scheme (see above).

The last row of the napkin can be knitted with chocolate brown threads to give the product a contrast and expressiveness.

If desired, a stalk and leaves of green yarn can be tied to a napkin. The pattern of knitting leaves and stem is illustrated in detail in the photo:

Here is such a crochet sunflower according to the above scheme and description, you should get:

Lesson 2. Brooch "Sunflower"

Step 1: Knit Warp

We start knitting from the base. To do this, you need to take yellow yarn and a hook that matches the thickness of the yarn. First, we make a loop of arugumi. Then we knit 7 columns without a crochet and tighten the loop.

Next, we form the petals. To do this, you need to dial a chain of 10-12 air loops (the number of loops depends on the desired length of the petals). We knit a chain towards the base with single crochets. Next, we fix the chain on the base. After that, we continue tying the petal with single crochets (2 times). After the first petal is connected, we move along the base 6 loops to the left and continue to knit the second petal in the same pattern.

Step 2: knitting the middle

To decorate the middle, you will need brown yarn and beads. We knit in a circle, without adding loops. It is necessary to knit with a thread on which beads or beads have already been strung.

When the core is ready, it can be sewn to the base, after placing foam rubber between them to give a convex shape.
