Paper deer. How to make a deer out of paper using the origami technique with your own hands. made of paper and cardboard

When the time comes to create with your child, ideas arise by themselves and it’s easy to get lost in them. A lot of available materials also prevent you from getting bored when working on crafts. At such moments, it is always interesting to fantasize that some forest animal came into the house and decided to make a home for itself on the shelf of one of the closets. A paper deer can successfully become such an animal.

Color applique

When working on a plane, appliqué copes very well with the art of conveying shapes and images taken from the surrounding world. In addition, this is the surest way for a child to begin to develop his imagination.

For the application you will need:

  • colored paper (brown, black, pink);
  • cardboard for the base;
  • scissors;
  • pencil;
  • glue.

You can use the following template in your work:

From brown paper you need to cut out a large oval for the body, a teardrop-shaped part for the head, a small oval for the tail, and four identical stripes for the legs. From pink paper we cut out a small oval for the muzzle, from black paper - four small squares for the hooves and two circles for the eyes. Horns can be cut out of black or brown paper. There are such templates for them:

Volumetric model

The origami technique has long found ways to turn any object into paper art. To make a deer using this technique, you need to draw the following diagram on paper:

The dotted lines shown in the diagram mean inward folds, and the dashes with dots mean outward folds.

The workpiece should be cut and bent according to the markings.

The leftmost edge needs to be bent inward vertically, after which the upper and lower parts above the looming square are connected at the vertices horizontally. Next, the square with the folded parts is shifted with an internal fold to the right.

On the square and the edges behind it, you need to draw two dotted parallel paths that bend inward.

The workpiece should be turned over and pushed apart a little so that the previously folded seams are visible.

The tops of the X-shaped folds are bent away from themselves, again drawing a square. The following tracing lines are applied to the workpiece.

We bend the part along the corresponding dotted lines.

After bending the workpiece in half, you need to apply the lines again.

After the next bending, the dotted line should be applied again along the lines.

Continuing the work, the body of a deer emerges from the blank. The rest will act as the head and horns. The fold lines are again drawn on the workpiece, and the next step is on the future neck of the deer.

The horns are bent back, and lines are drawn again on the workpiece.

The details of the tail and muzzle are bent into the craft, and corresponding lines are made on the horns.

Having folded the horns, you need to draw lines on the sides of the body.

The final stage is to slightly bend the figure, bringing it to the final volumetric version.

Craft for a glass

Another paper craft in the shape of a deer can be used as a decoration for a glass on a holiday table. To make such a cup holder with your own hands, you will need the following elements:

  • brown and white thick paper;
  • black and brown cardboard;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • glue.

For the body, a rectangle is cut out of brown paper.

If the craft is really being made for a glass, then the length of the rectangle should be sufficient so that when gluing it can be placed on the glass.

Three semicircles are drawn on the bottom of the part to define the legs of the deer, and a trapezoid is highlighted on top.

The right edge of the part is smeared with glue, after which it is rolled into a cylinder and connected to the opposite edge.

To make a muzzle, you need to draw its outline on brown paper.

After cutting out the part, its upper “frontal” edge is bent horizontally and shallow cuts are made from the ears.

On the back of black cardboard you need to draw rounded details for the nose and pupils, and square ones for the hooves. They should be cut out.

On brown cardboard we draw horns, which are also cut out.

The tail and eyes are drawn and cut out on white paper.

The horns are glued, located in the cuts near the ears.

The head is attached to the body.

The hooves are glued to the protrusions for the legs, and the tail is glued to the rear upper edge of the workpiece.

The result is a craft in the form of a paper deer.

A few more options

Other variations of paper reindeer can be used as holiday decorations, fun crafts to lift your spirits, and so on.

You can decorate a candy with a deer. To do this you need a candy on a stick, cardboard, a pencil, markers and scissors. The candy must be attached to the cardboard and circled.

This will be the intended nose. Around it you need to draw the head of a deer, which is cut out along with the outline of the nose. After coloring with felt-tip pens, the deer's head is placed on the candy.

You can design a New Year's card in the shape of a deer, on which the eyes and nose can be made not from paper, but from rhinestones, beads or other materials.

It is very easy to make an envelope in the shape of a deer: on the finished envelope you need to glue the elements of eyes, nose, mouth, horns, which are cut out of bright colored paper. The envelope might look like this:

Crafts from Chupa Chups

Candy on a stick is the favorite sweet of many children. It attracts their attention not only with its taste, but also with its design. If you want to delight your child, you should decorate the lollipop. You can make a real reindeer out of it!

Such transformations of the candy will take a few minutes, and the child will have an amazing gift for the New Year.

Materials for work:

  • Thin cardboard;
  • Chupa Chups;
  • markers;
  • decorative tape;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

Fold a cardboard rectangle measuring 20x15 centimeters in half.

Apply lollipop to the fold. We place it in the center of the sheet.

We outline with a simple pencil. Including a small piece of stick.

We finish drawing the deer's head with a simple pencil. The circle obtained in the previous step will serve as the deer's nose.

Carefully cut out the deer's head along the outer contour.

Cut a hole for the lollipop.

We decorate the deer with felt-tip pens. The horns can also be further decorated with sparkles.

Insert lollipop into the hole at the bottom.

We choose red decorative tape. This way she will emphasize her belonging to the holiday.

We thread it into the workpiece. It should go where the cardboard folds. We tie a candy stick with it. Decorate with a bow.

DIY Chupa Chups deer

Christmas reindeer on a tree made from popsicle sticks

We will make the next deer from wooden ice cream sticks, it will be original and bright.

We will need:

  1. ice cream sticks;
  2. glue;
  3. paints and brushes;
  4. cones, ribbon.

Draw a deer on paper and cut it out.

Now you need to lay out the sticks close to each other and transfer the deer stencil.

Then, carefully, so that the wood does not delaminate, cut out each stick along the contour and glue it together.

We draw a “face” for our deer.

All that remains is to attach the loop and decorate the deer with pine cones and a ribbon.

Such a cute deer, made with your own hands, will certainly appeal to children and will not go unnoticed by guests.

New Year is the most favorite holiday in childhood. Therefore, parents try to decorate their home with unusual decorations. One of these decorations is the New Year's deer.

The basis for manufacturing can be wood, plastic, wire and foam. The last material will be the most inexpensive and simple.

So, we will need:

  • Polystyrene foam C - 25 1000*1000*50 mm, that is, 5 cm thick (no longer worth it);
  • stencil;
  • pencil;
  • board to put on the floor (to preserve the flooring).

First you need to print a stencil; this can be easily done at any printing center.

Separate it in small parts, otherwise you may break the shape.

That's it, in the end it turned out to be a beautiful New Year's decoration.

Spent 140 rubles (expanded polystyrene) + 70 rubles (sketch on whatman paper) = 210 rubles. By the way, from one such sheet you get 2 figures. The second one can be taken to the kindergarten for an exhibition of New Year's crafts or given to friends.

Snowflake made of plasticine with the image of a deer

New Year's snowflakes can be different - paper and glass, beads and plastic, buttons and even plasticine. These are Christmas tree toys, decorations or crafts that you can buy ready-made in a store or make with your own hands.

In this lesson we are talking specifically about the craft, a bright snowflake made of plasticine, which, although it will not become a Christmas tree decoration due to the characteristics of the material, will take a central place on the shelf of children's crafts. In addition to the bright shades of plasticine that we use to create the craft, sparkling half-beads will also be used, and the central element of the decor will be the image of a deer - funny, New Year's, smiling.

To sculpt a beautiful New Year's snowflake from plasticine, prepare:

  • plasticine set;
  • stick;
  • 6 half beads.

Prepare a set of plasticine bars for work and think about what colors you would like to use to create the most festive, most elegant and most beautiful. It will be dear to our hearts, because we will do it with our own hands. The New Year is coming, and therefore I want to do something unusual that attracts attention.

Make a flat round cake of yellow color from bright plasticine. This will be the basis for the future product.

Using a stick (you can also use a stack), make notches around the circumference of the bright cake - 6 pieces in total in order to form a snowflake with 6 rays. This is how many rays any snowflake has

Press each segment selected after cutting with your thumb and forefinger on both sides and highlight the sharp rays. The shape of the rays can be carved and very beautiful. The framework of the future craft is set.

Use prepared half-beads - sparkling or metallic - for additional decoration.

Glue a detail onto each ray. Press into the soft mass with your finger.

Press lilac (or another color) petals onto each ray. This will further decorate the product and add contrast.

Next, move on to the main culprit - the central detail in the form of a deer's face. Make a pear-shaped part and sharp diamond ears. Glue on the eyes with pupils. This is a more interesting option than regular rhinestones or buttons.

Glue the ears to the top of the head. Glue a pink nose on the front and cut out a smile. To make the deer look cheerful, make a very wide mouth and a very large nose.

Stick a smiling face in the center of the snowflake. Don't forget the horns. The deer did not drop them along the way. They are brown, long, branched.

And now get creative and make the whole structure New Year’s. Glue a red cap with a white bubo on the deer’s head, and glue a red and white fragment as a scarf.

An interesting New Year's craft is ready. It turned out to be successful and eye-catching.

How to make a deer head with your own hands from paper

Creative inspiration and imagination to you!

Good afternoon, today I will tell you about all the ways to make a paper deer with your own hands. If this New Year you decide to take on such a craft, here you will definitely find what you need. This article will provide material for kindergarten teachers and will help parents make a deer craft for a school competition. I will also tell you how to decorate a gift in the spirit of a New Year’s deer. I will give interesting master classes on creating a three-dimensional deer from thick paper or thin cardboard. You will also find simple drawings and diagrams for assembling a deer from thick cardboard packaging. And it will be clear and interesting.

Simple crafts with DEER

For children.

The most common crafts in kindergarten for the New Year are paper applications. This year you can make a New Year's reindeer with your children. Cut out separately the details of the body, horns, muzzle and nose, small elements of the eyes, spots and hooves. You can decorate the deer with a piece of textile ribbon or a thin New Year's garland.

Older children can make the same craft, but in a different incarnation. In the older group of kindergarten, children already own scissors and carefully cut along the contour drawn by the teacher. Then you can give them cardboards with the same silhouette of a deer drawn on them. And the child himself will cut out a cardboard figure. All New Year's paper deers can be hung on a single ribbon - make a garland to decorate a kindergarten. You will get a long team of deer flying forward. You can glue Santa Claus's sleigh behind it - you'll get a beautiful New Year's composition on the wall - for example, in locker rooms, above children's lockers.

You can come up with the configuration of the deer silhouette yourself. For example, make it from rectangles. The children themselves will cut pieces for the body, head, and long strips for the legs. Figured horns can be given already drawn - for cutting along the contour. The craft can be decorated with a snowball made of cotton wool and small snowflakes from a figured hole punch.

Young children can make a deer based on the teacher’s model using small geometric paper shapes - squares, circles, stripes.

You can look for ideas for deer appliqué among New Year’s pictures and drawings on children’s T-shirts. You can draw funny cartoon deer yourself and use your own sketch to create beautiful bright paper deer appliques.

You can also approach the task of creating an applique creatively and use regular newspaper rather than colored paper. Children will be pleased to then paint it with watercolors, painting the body and horns of the deer in the desired colors.

You can implement the same craft in a variety of designs. Here is a deer with a head in the shape of a light bulb, where the antlers are made from the carved silhouettes of a child's hand. An excellent and beautiful craft for kindergarten.

You can make a craft with a volumetric effect - where the deer seems to have lowered its head, and the tip of its New Year's cap hangs down.

Discarded material at hand - can become elements of a children's craft in the form of a deer. Cotton swabs turn into horns, a red round button or bottle cap can become a deer's nose.

A paper deer craft can be supplemented with natural materials, pine cones, flower seeds, and coarse hemp rope. Any interesting texture will only enrich your creative work.

Instead of paper, you can use a new craft material - formiam. The craft turns out light and bright. Such a deer can be hung on a Christmas tree like a Christmas tree decoration.

Postcards with deer

from paper and cardboard.

Greeting cards can also be decorated with an applique with a paper deer. Works cut out of corrugated ribbed cardboard, as in the photo below, look very nice.

You can embroider a deer on a cardboard card with colored threads - wool or floss in several folds. First, we draw sketches of the future picture on the postcard with weak pencil lines - then we make large stitches along the drawn lines.

Or you can make an openwork MULTILAYER card, where you add a lot of delicate transparent thin-cut elements. To make a postcard with a deer airy and voluminous, you need to place pieces of thick cardboard (from packaging boxes) between the layers of cardboard silhouettes - then these silhouettes will hover above the background of the postcard - as if floating in the air above it. A 3D effect is created.

You can insert elements of unexpected things into a card. For example, a red light bulb that lights up with a light instead of a nose.

Or a candy can become the round nose of a paper deer - for example, a lollipop on a stick, or a round red candy. And then the horns will become candy canes, with red and white stripes.

You can decorate a card with a deer with an applique of dry oak leaves. They are very similar to the branched antlers of a deer. It turns out beautiful and original - from the heart.

Volumetric children's crafts

WITH A DEER made of paper.

We can make a round ball from strips of colored paper. And decorate it as a deer toy. Such balls can be hung on the Christmas tree as New Year's toys. In the New Year's articles on our website, we have already made such crafts-balls from paper for the New Year - in the form of Santa Claus, Snowman, Penguin, etc.. in the article " New Year's crafts for children 103 ideas, I explained in detail exactly how to glue such a ball from paper strips.

And here is another idea for a toy for the New Year tree in the shape of a deer. The toy turns out to be three-layered; between each layer we place beads or a piece of a cocktail straw - this way the layers do not stick together and the craft has three-dimensionality.

Here’s another great three-dimensional craft for children at school or the older group of kindergarten. The body looks like an ordinary oval donut - we bend it in half and get a stable structure. Now all that remains is to glue the head with the horns. A beautiful and simple craft that is easy for children to make with their own hands.

Craft deer

Folding made of paper.

But here is a very simple and interesting deer craft. It is better to use thick paper. Or thin cardboard.

First, we cut out such a module - with a long neck part. The module, as you noticed, is foldable. The fold line goes along the ridge - the spine of the craft.

On the neck part we make lines with a pencil - in the area of the base of the neck, and in the area of \u200b\u200bthe beginning of the head. We make folds and place the folds at the angle we need onto the fold. If it is difficult to make a fold, you can practice first on a rough piece of paper, or make cuts in this place with scissors, then it will be more convenient to figure out exactly how to bend the module.

Craft DEER

From cardboard rolls.

Here is a craft that can be made from cardboard rolled into a roll. We twist the horns from fluffy wire. We sculpt the eyes and nose from plasticine or cut them out of cardboard.

You can add round cutouts at the bottom in rolled cardboard (as in the photo below), this allows you to decorate the legs of our voluminous deer. And we also glue the head to the inside of the roll. We bend a piece of cardboard in half - one half will be the inner adhesive part, on the other we draw the face of a deer - and glue it to the roll body.

You can use toilet paper rolls as cardboard rolls - paint them with gouache in the desired color, or cover them with colored paper.

New Year's deer

from packaging cardboard.

Regular packaging corrugated cardboard (from boxes) can be used as an interesting craft material.

Cut out flat parts - body, horns, legs in the form of arches. And then make a SLOT in the body at the TOP (we will insert the horns into it), and TWO SLOTS AT THE BOTTOM (we will insert the legs into the bottom). As you can see, the craft is very simple. The slots need to be made a little thicker so that a fairly thick plane of cardboard can fit.

Using this technique of flat modules that are inserted into SLOTS, you can make a whole large winter or New Year's composition. Decorate your interior with it - place everything on the windowsill or on a table against the wall.

You can buy special children's corrugated cardboard for crafts. And make a paper deer using the ROLLING technique, as in the photo below. We simply cut the corrugated cardboard into narrow strips and roll it into a round shape, or into the shape we need.

New Year's deer

for gift wrapping.

Here are examples of how a paper deer craft can serve as packaging for a New Year's gift or souvenir.

YOU can assemble a box from cardboard - in the shape of a cone, and then decorate it with an applique of a deer's head, as in the photo below. The assembly diagram for the cone box is inside the article. Christmas trees made of paper, there we assemble a cone-shaped Christmas tree box in the same way.

Your gift can be packed in a handmade envelope designed like a deer's face. Or use a regular brown bag from the store and turn it into a reindeer using cardboard antlers and a pom-pom nose.

The muzzle of a paper deer can be glued to a clothespin - and simply fasten a regular paper bag, as in the photo below.

Or you can use any of the deer appliqués suggested above on a paper bag. It’s also quite simple and beautiful.

You can also turn any ready-made packaging into a deer. Take a tea box - cut off the top, cover it with brown paper - stick an applique of a deer's hooves on the front wall, and a cardboard applique of a deer's head rising above the box on the back wall - and we have an elegant way to give a gift.

These are the ideas for deer crafts made from paper and cardboard that I have collected today in this article. Now you can choose many options for your New Year's work with a festive holiday deer. And that's not all... because I'm preparing a new article, which will include ideas that do not fit here, DEER WITH YOUR OWN HANDS (44 crafts for the New Year).

Happy New Year to the author of this article, Olga Klishevskaya.

Papercraft(Papercraft) - a type of modeling, the material for which is patterns (scans) cut from paper or cardboard. Papercraft is widely popular abroad, but in our country this type of modeling is simply called “paper crafts.”

Today we will create a trophy deer head for interior decoration using a type of papercraft called low poly modeling.

I used a ready-made free scan found on the web, authored by Jan Krummrey. As it turns out, finding something more or less beautiful for free access is not so easy. This is understandable, since model development is done manually and takes a huge amount of time and effort. For this reason, model authors ask for a small reward for their work.

So, download the scan file from this link. Next, you need to decide on the size of the future model. If you use A4 paper format, like mine, then the size of the model will be approximately 60x34x32 cm. If you use a larger paper format, for example, A3, then the size of the model will double. As for me, A4 is the best option.

Then you need to purchase paper with a density of 200 g/m2 or higher. I used white matte A4 paper. I assembled the test model from regular printer paper. The office paper is not thick and rigid enough, the deer's antlers are sagging, and the model itself looks terrible due to the fact that the edges of the polygons are bent. Therefore, do not repeat my mistakes and immediately buy normal material.

1) PVA glue
2) Stationery knife
3) Flat board or plywood
4) Toothpicks
5) Large and small scissors
6) Ruler
7) An object for pressing the edges of the reamer (for me it’s a piece of tin from the system unit plug)

You need to cut out the details of the development very carefully, otherwise the jambs will be very noticeable. You can cut it with a stationery knife, placing the layout on a board or plywood, applying a ruler to the cutting line, or with ordinary scissors.

As a result, we will get a bunch of parts for gluing.

Next, you need to “push” the dotted and dash-dot lines of the bends of the parts with a blunt object. This is necessary to ensure that the bend goes exactly along the indicated line. You can press with the blunt side of the blade of a stationery knife, applying a ruler to the bend line and drawing with the knife. This method seemed inconvenient to me, and I used a tin plug from the computer system unit. It is more convenient to hold and easier to push through bend lines.

Only after all the parts have been pressed can we begin bending. The dashed-dotted lines indicate internal corners (bend the corner inward), dotted lines indicate external corners (bend the corner outward). If you do everything the other way around, then you will have the markings of the parts (numbers and bend lines) on the front side, but we need them to be inside the model.

Now let's move on to the most important part - gluing the parts together. Each part has numbers, we find the same number on another part and glue them together.

The order of gluing does not matter, but for convenience I divided the deer's head into several parts: ears, antlers and neck with head, so that at the end they can be conveniently connected.

A craft like “Paper Deer” will be a great addition to New Year’s decor. This craft is very easy to make, the whole process will only take 10-15 minutes!

But, before we start creating crafts, we need to prepare the following materials and tools:

  • high or medium weight colored paper in brown and white;
  • black and dark brown cardboard;
  • pencil or colored pencil;
  • scissors;
  • glue stick.

The scheme for creating such a craft is simple; first, the base (torso) and head of the animal are created. Then all the necessary elements are cut out, for example, the nose, eyes, horns, hooves, etc. After all the parts are ready, they are glued to the base or muzzle.

To create the body of a deer, we need brown colored paper. Let's cut out this base.

You can first draw all the necessary lines with a pencil.

Apply glue to the edge of the strip and connect it as follows.

If there are any unevenness, then we level it right away. This is how the deer's body turned out.

Now let's create the muzzle. On brown paper (on the back side) we draw such an outline.

Then carefully cut out the workpiece. We fold its upper part (above the ears), and make small cuts along the resulting fold line.

On black cardboard we will first make the following sketches - the nose, pupils and hooves. We cut out all the blanks along the contour.

Let's draw deer antlers on brown cardboard and then cut them out too.

Now we need to cut out the tail and eyes of the deer from white paper.

You can also cut out a tail from gray or brown paper. So, all the blanks are ready and now you can start assembling the craft.

First we glue the horns. They must be placed in the side slits.

Then we attach the eyes and nose.

Then we apply a little glue to the upper part (behind the fold line) of the muzzle and glue it to the base (body) of the deer. This is what we got.

That's it, the original “Paper Deer” is ready!

You can also show a little imagination and decorate the deer, for example with a scarf, hat or some other decor. In addition, it can be painted with paints (it is advisable to use gouache).
