Easter eggs crochet (master class). Openwork crocheting of Easter and souvenir eggs _ A large selection of ideas and patterns

And why, where did such a tradition come from? There is a legend that when Mary Magdalene came to Rome with a sermon on the teachings of Jesus Christ, she managed to approach the emperor Tiberius. She handed him an egg as a gift as a symbol of eternal life and exclaimed "Christ is risen!". Tiberius did not believe and said that, "Rather this egg will turn red than the dead one will rise!" After that, the egg really turned red. Since then, it has been customary for Easter to give each other eggs, paint them, at first it was only red, later the eggs began to be painted in different bright colors, just decorate them, then they began to make them from various materials, wood, papier-mâché and even to knit.
I propose to crochet Easter eggs, diagrams and a master class with step-by-step photos will help you in this work. Next, fill it with synthetic winterizer or other filler, because such an egg will not break and will be a nice toy for the baby.

What you need to knit an Easter egg:

- Threads "Pekhorka needlework", this is 100% acrylic, with a hank of 50 grams, the length of the thread is 175 m. The color of the threads is Calendula, it is not red, but similar to the color of the shell, dyed with onion peel.
- Hook No. 1.25.

We start crocheting the Easter egg from the ringlet into which we fold the thread, into such a ringlet we collect 6 single crochet (RLS).
1 row. 6 sc.

For the remaining end of the thread, we pull the ring and continue to knit in a spiral, without making an air lifting loop.
2 row. 6 + 6 = 12 sc. Here we knit two in each column of the bottom row.

3 Row. 12 + 6 = 18 sc. We knit two columns in every second in a row.

4 row. 18 + 6 = 24 sc. We knit two columns in every third in a row.
5 row. 24 + 6 = 30 sc. We knit two in every fourth, after three.
6 row. 30 + 6 = 36 sc. We knit in two, through four in the fifth column.

12 row. 36 - 3= 33 sc. We knit 11 columns, skip the 12th.
13 Row. 33 sc.
14 row. 33 - 3 = 30 sc. We knit 10 sc, skip the 11th.
15 row. 30 sc.
16 row. 30 - 6 = 24 RLS. We knit 3 sc, skip the 4th.
17 row. 24 sc.
18 row. 24 - 6 = 18 sc. We knit 2 sc, skip the 3rd.
19 row. 18 Sat.
20 row. 18 - 6 = 12 sc. We knit 1 sc, skip the 2nd. We fill it with synthetic winterizer, it is better to lay the filler in small portions and tightly enough, giving the product the shape of an egg.

21 row. 12 - 6 = 6 sc. We knit the columns through one, then close the knitting, tighten the loop and hide the thread.

The crocheted Easter egg is ready, its size is: height - 5 cm, width - 4 cm. It took 4 grams of thread.
To tie a smaller testicle, we start in the same way as the first, but only up to the 5th row.
1 - 5 rows. We repeat as in the first option.
6 - 9 rows. 30 sc.
10 row. 30 - 3 = 27 sc. We knit 8 sc, skip the 9th.
11 row. 27 sc.
12 row. 27 - 3 = 24 sc. We knit 7 sc, skip the 8th.
13 row. 24 sc.
14 row. 24 - 6 \u003d 18 sc, knit 2 sc, skip the 3rd.
15 row. 18 sc.
16 row. 18 - 6 = 12 sc. We knit through one column.

Let's crochet a larger Easter egg according to the pattern

- threads "Semyonovskaya yarn" (100% acrylic, 100 grams, 438 meters),
- hook 1.25.

1 - 6 rows. We repeat as in the first option.
7 row. 36 + 6 = 42 sc. We knit two columns into one in the 6th, after 5.
8 row. 42 + 6 = 48 sc.
9 - 15 rows. 48 sc.
16 row. 48 - 3 = 45 sc. We knit 14, skip the 15th.
17 - 18 rows. 45 sc.
19 row. 45 - 3 = 42 sc. We knit 13, skip the 14th.
20 row. 42 sc.
21 row. 42 - 6 = 36 sc. We knit 5, skip the 6th.
22 row. 36 sc.
23 row. 36 - 6 = 30 sc. We knit 4, we skip the 5th.
24 row. 30 sc.
25 row. 30 - 6 = 24 sc. We knit 3, skip the 4th.
26 row. 24 - 6 = 18 sc. We knit 2 sc, skip the 3rd.
27 row. 18 - 6 = 12 sc. We knit through the column.
28 row. 12 - 6 = 6 sc. We knit through the column. Tighten, cut the thread and hide the end.

The egg turned out to be 7 cm in height and 5 cm in width. Now, to make the eggs festive, you can embroider XV, which means - Christ is Risen!

You can sheathe it with beads or tie it with a contrasting thread with an openwork mesh, it's a matter of your imagination and taste.
Consider the simplest option for decorating a knitted Easter egg with an openwork mesh. To do this, take the yarn Alize DIVA Missisipi.

We make a ring into which we will dial 8 RLS, then we knit according to the scheme.

1 row. 8 sc.
2 row. 3 lifting air loops (runway), in each column we make 1 double crochet (CH) and between them 1 VP (air loop).

and from there 6 VP, 1 RLS for the top of the loop.

5 row. 3 sc for a chain of ch, 7 ch, 1 sc for the top of the chain, so to the end of the row.

6 row. 3 sc for a chain of ch, 6 ch, 1 sc for the top of the chain. We put the mesh on the egg and continue to knit already on it.

7 row. 3 sc for the chain, 4 ch, 1 sc for the top of the chain and so on until the end of the row.
8 row. 3 sc for the chain, 3 ch, 1 sc for the top of the chain and so on until the end of the row.

9 row. 1 SC for the chain, 1 VP, 1 SC for the top of the chain and so on until the end of the row.

When the row is completed, we tighten the thread, fasten it and, cutting it off, hide it. These beautiful Easter eggs can be crocheted for the holiday, thanks to this master class.

Joy to you and a happy celebration of the bright Easter day!

Let's knit like this clothes for eggs. Please note that the calculation of the loops is given for a specific egg and exactly the thread thickness, as indicated below.

In this master class, we will learn how to tie eggs with beads with a column. Also, using the techniques shown in this master class, you can tie eggs with Russian beads or, with or without a lifting loop, of course, with some changes. However, since when knitting in the “Russian” way with a lifting loop, the beads lie very tightly to each other and join in rows, this is the reason for choosing this particular technique as an example.

The advantage of a tied egg over a braided one is not only in the convenience and speed of knitting, but also in its plasticity, i.e. knitted fabric fits the workpiece very well, without requiring particularly careful calculation of beads when narrowing-expanding the braid - i.e. you can draw up a diagram in advance and be sure that it will not have to be adjusted during the tying process.

In order to tie an egg, we need:

Egg preparation (in the example 33x46 mm)
- Czech beads No. 10 or Japanese beads No. 11 corresponding to the color scheme
- thread for knitting in thickness approximately No. 20 (in the example, lavsan threads in two additions No. 40)
- a crochet hook with a head size of 0.5-0.7 mm
- a needle for a set of beads
(master classes site site)
EGG TYING PROCEDURE:

1. We measure the egg- to calculate the number of rows of beads in height and the number of beads in each row, we need to know the dimensions of the fit of the egg in height and width. The easiest way to determine them with a thread is to make a knot at one end of the thread, wrap the thread around the egg blank, mark it and, applying it to the ruler, see how long the egg will fit in height and width:

In the example, the dimensions are as follows:

In height, the girth of the egg is 12.8 cm, we need half the girth - this is 6.4 cm.
- the width of the girth of the egg is 10.6 cm

2. Calculate the number of rows and the number of beads in each row. This amount depends not only on the size of the egg blank, but also on the density of knitting plus the allowance for fitting the knitted fabric to the egg. I highly recommend that you first knit a sample, attach it to the egg, and then, taking into account the bends and fit, you will find out the density of knitting by 1 cm in width and height. I have it 5.8 rows of beads 1 cm high and 5.3 beads 1 cm wide.

So, we are counting:

The height in the scheme will be 6.4 * 5.8 = 37.12 = 37 rows
- the width will be 10.6*5.3=56.18=56 beads

Next, we need to calculate the expansion and contraction of the egg braid. Because the narrowing and expansion of rounded blanks such as beads is done with wedges (see master class), and the optimal number of wedges when tying a small egg is 5 or 6, then the width of the circuit must be made a multiple of 5 or 6.

I chose 5 wedges, so in the example, the width of the braid circumference will be 55 beads (this is closer to the calculated number of 56).

The number of rows in height remains 37, but we need to determine which rows will correspond to the top, bottom and belt of the egg.

Usually the top of the egg occupies 1/3 of the girth of the egg height (in the example it turns out 37 * 1/3 = 12.33 = 12 rows), respectively, the bottom and the belt of the egg together occupy 2/3 of the girth of the egg height (in the example it is 37 *2/3=24.67=25 rows).
(master classes site site)
The bottom of the egg is tied like a ball, so taking into account the number of wedges, we see that with a width of 55 beads, the bottom will take 10 rows, respectively, the girdle will take 15 rows.

The top of the egg has the shape of an elongated ball, so when calculating the wedges for it, in addition to the standard 10 rows, we simply add two more rows additionally (12-10 = 2 rows) closer to the girdle - i.e. Rows 26 and 27 will have the same number of beads per circle, and rows 28 and 29 will also be the same.

3. We draw a diagram taking into account all our calculations:

The scheme can be drawn in programs:

Programs for creating mosaic canvases, for example, BeadsWicker - for the "Russian" method with a lifting loop
- jbead - a program for thick bundles, for the "Russian" method without a lifting loop, in a spiral
- programs for cross stitching, for example, Pattern_Maker - for the "English" way.

4. We collect beads. Because knitting will be a circular cloth from the bottom of the egg, then the direction of the set is from top to bottom from right to left. If you type from left to right, then the picture will be a mirror image of what is in the diagram. If you dial from the bottom up, then knitting will have to start from the top of the egg, which I do not recommend, because. the upper part of the egg requires a better fit, so it is better to tie it in place, having already inserted the workpiece into part of the finished braid.

5. We knit the first row- in order to get a neat little hole at the beginning of knitting, we will knit the first row on the loop (see master class):

Next, I will show a slightly different principle for adding beads to wedges, not the one that was described or.

To do this, in the first row we knit 5 columns with beads and 5 columns without beads, alternating them. We start with a column without beads:

Then follows a column with beads:

And so five times:

We tighten the loop:

So, in total we knitted 10 columns.
(master classes site site)
6. We knit the second row:

Lift loop (how to knit with a lift loop in the "Russian" way, see):

In the loop of the first column of the first row (it is without beads), we knit two columns - first a column without beads, then a column with beads:

And then in the loop of the second column of the first row (it is with a bead), we knit one column with beads:

Possessing certain skills and abilities, you can make something incredible and beautiful for any holiday that can improve the mood of both the owners of the house and the guests. Easter is no exception in this regard. Since boiled eggs are considered the main symbol of this holiday, they can be decorated first of all. So, how to crochet Easter eggs?

Jewelry options

You can make an ordinary knitted egg or add beaded patterns, ribbons, sparkles, sequins to it. Another option is not only to tie the holiday symbols themselves, but also to add peculiar accessories to get, for example, knitted Easter eggs in a basket. Some craftswomen go even further and knit not just openwork patterns, but whole figurines of animals. Such Easter eggs will be especially interesting for children.

Method one, classic

How to crochet A dense product is knitted, stuffed with padding polyester, decorated. To do this, you need any yarn you like, simple or sectional, a suitable hook, a synthetic winterizer for stuffing. A chain of seven air loops is dialed, closed in a ring. The same number of single crochets are knitted in the second row. The next row already consists of fourteen loops. The fourth row is also fourteen. In the fifth row, again you need to add seven single crochets. The sixth row repeats the same amount - 21 loops. In the seventh row, again adding 7 columns, that is, in every third loop a column is added. The result is twenty-eight loops. From the eighth to the thirteenth row, this number is repeated, and from the fourteenth, the same number begins to decrease as it was added, that is, seven loops. The fifteenth row consists of 21 loops, in the sixteenth the number decreases again, to fourteen. The seventeenth is knitted without changes, the eighteenth reduces the number of loops by seven. Now the egg can be filled with filler. In the nineteenth row, each column is knitted through the loop of the previous row, and all remaining loops are pulled together. The thread is fixed. Everything, the work is finished.

Method two

How to crochet Easter eggs if you want something more original? You can make stuffed animal figurines. Bright and colorful, they will decorate any table. Yellow chickens, white bunnies and mice will please both adults and kids. The body of the figurine is knitted in a dense pattern of single crochets according to the pattern described in the first method. When the product is finished, you need to sew on connected ears (round for mice, long for hares), tufts for chickens and make faces: it is enough to make eyes, noses and beaks. The finishing touch will be the paws (only the top ones are enough), wings and tails. It remains to put funny figures on the festive table.

Method three: the main part

And how to crochet Easter eggs if you want to make them openwork, airy and transparent, in the form of a case for a real egg? It's even easier here. A beautiful thin yarn is taken, for example "Iris", a thin hook (you can take 1.5 mm), a boiled egg. An air loop is knitted, two more loops are typed into it, and ten single crochets are knitted into the second loop. At the end of the row, knitting closes in a circle. Now the second row: one loop for lifting, a column into a connecting loop, then three air loops are knitted in a circle, connecting with a column to the previous row. So to the end, all ten arches. In the third row, four air loops are knitted, then a column into the arch of the second row, all the same ten arches will turn out, already four loops in each. The next five rows are knitted in the same way: five air loops are knitted in each arch, and each of them is connected to the previous row using a single crochet. There are still ten arches.

egg lid

Now that the Easter eggs are almost crocheted, you can start making the "lid". Exactly the same first loop is made as at the beginning of knitting, two more are knitted into it, five single crochets are made into the resulting chain, everything is closed in a circle with the help of Now you need to dial four air loops, connect them with a column to the next loop of the row, and so way to knit only five arches. After that, the thread can be cut off, the tail fixed and hidden.

The connection of the halves

It remains only to connect the crocheted Easter eggs (the patterns for such knitting are always very simple and understandable). This can be done in two ways: with a tape or a simple seam with a thread and a needle. If everything is clear with a needle, then with a tape it is a little more complicated. The lower part of the knitting is taken, a boiled egg is put into it, covered with a lid. Now the halves are connected with a thin satin ribbon, which, with the help of a hook, must be passed through the arches of both parts of the knitted egg. The ribbon should be tied with a bow so that it can be easily dissolved. It remains only to put the resulting beauty on the table.

Easter eggs and more, crocheted. Lots of ideas.

Easter eggs are customary to paint, decorate and give. There are a lot of options for decorating eggs. You can not only paint them funny, but also braid them with beads and ribbons, or you can knit cute coasters, cases, handbags, baskets for them.

The Internet is full of different ideas and knitting patterns.

I made a selection of the most interesting things for the testicles, which you can easily knit yourself.

The basis for knitting an egg can be plastic eggs from Kinder Surprise, toys that are suitable in shape, and wooden blanks. If nothing was found as a base, then use an ordinary chicken egg. It is not at all difficult to prepare it for work. Pierce the top and base of a raw egg with a needle. The contents of the egg will leak out (you can safely cook an omelet or use in baking). Dilute PVA glue with water. Tear paper or newspaper into small pieces and, dipping in glue, glue them over the egg in several layers. Each layer must be dry before applying the next layer. After the final drying of the workpiece - the eggs begin to tie it with columns without a crochet as shown in the photo.

Having mastered the basic principles of crochet, you can already fantasize on your own and create your own egg decorations. For inspiration, I suggest you look at these wonderful works:
