Toenail coverage: "Ombre" - vertical. How to make shellac on your feet at home

Every modern girl strives to be attractive and stylish. In this matter, ladies are helped by fashionable outfits, accessories, and cosmetic products. One of the prerequisites for a stylish look is a beautiful manicure. But, with the advent of summer days, the legs of every girl attract a lot of attention from others. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of the beauty of the legs. You should definitely use special moisturizers and make a beautiful pedicure. The best option for a summer, long-lasting nail polish is shellac. This is a modern type of helium polish that allows you to make a flawlessly beautiful pedicure.

What are the benefits of shellac?

The popularity of gel polish as a tool for creating a beautiful manicure quickly grew into the popularity of pedicure polish. Users and nail artists alike have appreciated the durability and stability of shellac. If on hands, the coating lasts 10-15 days, then on legs, shellac will last up to two months. This is because the toes are less susceptible to mechanical stress. Plus, gel polish, applied according to the rules, will protect toenails from the harmful effects of the sun, not entirely clean water in our reservoirs and other factors that affect the feet in summer.

Considering that the nail plates on the feet do not grow as quickly as on the fingers, a high-quality pedicure once every one and a half to two months will be quite enough. That is, having done a high-quality treatment of toenails at the beginning of summer, you can show off and show off the pedicure in the photo until mid-summer. And on the eve of vacation, transform the legs by making a new pedicure design.

In addition to the stability of the coating, shellac pleases with a wide color palette. A bright, saturated color will delight the owner of a pedicure for several weeks in a row. Plus, applying shellac to nails does not require special knowledge. Having mastered once the technology of creating a beautiful pedicure with gel polish, every girl will not want to return to using ordinary varnishes.

In most cases, shellacs do not cause allergic reactions in the body. If there is a tendency to allergies, then it is recommended to purchase a hypoallergenic product. It will not only prevent the development of allergic manifestations, but also protect the nail plates from the negative effects of water, sun, wind and dust.

We do a pedicure at home

Having studied the positive aspects of shellac, we will begin to study the technology of creating a pedicure at home. The technique is quite simple and does not require any special knowledge. First of all, you need to make sure that there are no traces of the previous decorative layer on the nails. If you have the old gel polish, it must be removed using a remover. This is a special liquid that allows you to quickly remove the decorative coating from the nail plates without drying the surface.

The next step is to give the nails the desired shape. It is very important that at this stage the plates are completely dry. If there is gel stripper or water on the surface, it can cause the plate to delaminate. This means that a pedicure with shellac will not work well.

For a thorough treatment of the feet, it is recommended to make a warm bath with nourishing oils or sea salt. Thanks to this, the skin on the feet will become soft, and cuticles from the nails are easier to remove. After a relaxing bath, carefully remove the cuticles and treat the surface with a buff. Once the preparatory phase is complete, you can start creating the shellac design on your feet.

French on legs

French shellac on the legs in the photo, it looks very beautiful. To create it, after the initial treatment of the nail plates at home, it is necessary to cover the surface with a primer and a base. The first option will degrease the nails, and the second will create a strong foundation for the future jacket. After drying the base, use shellac on toenails in a light, pastel palette. It is better to apply the gel in two thin layers, remembering to thoroughly dry each one.

After drying the pastel layer of gel, it is necessary to draw a smile line with white shellac on each nail. This can be done using a stencil or manually. Having decorated the shellac on the toenails in the photo, we carefully dry the coating with a white "smile". To fix the gel polish, cover the pedicure with a thick layer of top or finish, and again dry the nails in a UV lamp.

The video shows detailed instructions on how to make a beautiful, stylish pedicure design 2015.

In conclusion, we note that the photo of the shellac design on the legs shows that the patterns can be completely different. The summer version of the pedicure can be made in the French style, have an abstraction, even, regular geometric patterns, or be monochromatic. Which design to give preference to, each girl decides individually. The masters recommend, study the reviews and advice of experts, and choose the most suitable pedicure option for yourself in 2015.

The popularity of permanent pedicure among girls today can hardly be overestimated. The beauty of female legs is preserved for 4-6 weeks.

At the same time, you can safely go on vacation, swim in the sea and not worry that the varnish will chip. And all this became possible thanks to the invention of gel polishes.

They combine the properties of an ordinary colored varnish and the gel used for nail extension.

Nails coated with gel polish become shiny, durable, and resistant to damage.

Thanks to the rich color range, it is not difficult to choose a beautiful color, while the craftsmen skillfully create original patterns and drawings.

The advantages of a gel polish pedicure include:

  • the result will last at least 4 weeks,
  • bright saturated shades that do not fade,
  • the ability to implement original design ideas for a pedicure with gel polish.

Pedicure gel polish at home - stages of work

A permanent pedicure can be done easily at home.

The material easily adheres to the nail and becomes very durable, polymerizing under an ultraviolet lamp.

Under it, the nails are not damaged and for some time receive protection from external factors.

To work, you need the following tools and materials:

  • Ultraviolet lamp,
  • base and top for gel polish,
  • gel polish,
  • means for degreasing the nail plate,
  • clinser,
  • cotton pads,
  • pedicure tools.
  • Stage 1 - preparing nails for applying gel polish. The remnants of the old coating are removed, the cuticle is trimmed, the heels are processed.

The shape of the nails, if necessary, is corrected with a file, the surface of the nails is treated with a buff. Wipe the nails with a napkin dipped in a cleanser.

  • Stage 2 - degreasing the nail plate and applying the base product. The nail plates are coated with a primer (air drying - one minute), then a base is applied and polymerized under a lamp for two minutes.
  • Stage 3 - application of gel polish in two layers, each drying under UV rays for a couple of minutes.
  • Stage 4 - application of the top coat with polymerization in a UV lamp - three minutes.
  • Stage 5 - it remains to remove the sticky layer with a special tool and rub oil into the cuticle to soften.

VIDEO ON TOPIC

On average, the procedure takes about an hour and a half. Gradually, the coating grows back with the nail, but on the legs it happens more slowly than on the hands, so correction will be required in a month and a half.

French pedicure, like manicure, is considered a classic and looks appropriate anytime, anywhere.

A classic jacket involves the use of different colors for the nail bed and for the tip of the plate. In this case, the colors should be pale pink or beige and white.

Today, many women successfully combine bright colors and experiment with different tones. At the same time, decorative elements are not prohibited - rhinestones, stickers, sparkles.

But the jacket is not complete without the traditional smile line, which separates the tip of the nail from the nail plate.

In this case, the line can be of a classic rounded shape or with deviations, for example:

  • triangular,
  • in the shape of a heart,
  • in the form of a beveled corner,
  • zigzag,
  • wavy.

Special stencils, which are sold in specialized stores, will help to create a straight smile line.

Stencils are made in the form of stripes, one side has a sticky layer that attaches the stencil to the nail plate.

At home, you can replace them with paper tape. The stencil is fixed on the marigold in front of the regrown part of the nail, leaving the edge of the plate free, and a smile line is drawn with gel polish. Craftsmen with a "stuffed" hand draw a smile line with a thin brush.

To create a French pedicure with gel polish you need:

  • degreasing agent,
  • base and top,
  • two gel varnishes of different colors,
  • stencils or brush
  • primer
  • tacky remover
  • saw, buff, nippers.

Stages of work:

  1. Hygienic pedicure - treatment of cuticles, heels, degreasing the nail plate, applying a primer.
  2. Basecoat application and UV curing.
  3. Application of gel polish of the main color to the nail and polymerization under UV rays. If necessary, the varnish is applied in two layers.
  4. Applying a smile line using a stencil or a brush in a different color and drying under a UV lamp, if necessary, the layer is repeated and dried.
  5. Topcoat application with UV drying.
  6. Removing the sticky layer.

Some girls like to use additional decor, for example, in the form of rhinestones.

You need to glue them to the nail plate with the help of special glue and only after the main top coat has been applied with drying and removing the stickiness.

Another way is to attach rhinestones to the not yet dried layer of varnish.

A jacket in the ombre technique is also popular today, when one color smoothly passes into another. This can be done easily with a sponge or sponge.

  1. The procedure for applying a French coat is standard - after shaping and degreasing the nails, the base is applied and polymerized on the surface.
  2. Then on the foil we draw a couple of lines of the main color (the main surface of the nail) and draw a thin strip next to it - a smile line. We combine two colors with dots.
  3. Then the sponge is dipped in varnish, blotted a couple of times in the free part of the foil and applied to the nail with tapping movements. The layer is dried in a lamp. If the density of the gel polish is insufficient, the process is repeated.
  4. After that, it remains to apply the top and fix it in the lamp with further removal of the sticky layer.

A jacket with lace looks original. The lace is sold separately and wrapped around the nail.

Then the varnish is “hammered in” through the lace stencil, resulting in a beautiful original drawing.

Nail service specialists know that the peak of popularity of pedicure services falls on the summer period.

It is at this time of the year that ladies take out open shoes and strive to put their feet in order.

A simple one-color coating has long been boring, so for demanding clients you have to invent original ideas. Consider options for a beautiful summer pedicure with gel varnishes.

  1. Black color . Despite the fact that in summer you want bright colors, black will remain relevant, because it is easy to combine it with any other tones, for example, with pink, gold, silver, complement with rhinestones and other decor.
  2. Polka dots. Specks of white or other colors against a background of contrasting shades look bright and unusual. You can decorate them with beads or rhinestones.
  3. Mosaic. The mosaic pattern requires dexterity and dexterity from the master and turns out to be unusual and bright. Colors can be applied in any order by tracing the cells with a contrasting color.
  4. Stripes. This is a constant hit, because in the summer many people go on vacation, and the strip is associated with the sea. A drawing in the form of an anchor or a sea animal will complement the "striped" pedicure.
  5. Flowers . Another classic idea that never goes out of style. The flower ornament can be either small or large, as on each nail, or selectively.
  6. Exotic patterns... Nails can be decorated with drawings imitating the color of a tiger or a snake, while the classic color scheme can be replaced with calmer or, on the contrary, bright colors.
  7. Shine . To create a shiny pedicure, use sparkling gel polishes with a metallic sheen. At the same time, glitter of different sizes can be combined on one nail.
  8. Bright colors . In summer, mixes of orange, pink, light green, green and other bright shades will always be appropriate. You can use them both for a jacket and for creating geometric ornaments.
  9. Magnetic pedicure... Varnishes with this effect appeared not so long ago. They contain magnetic particles, which, with the help of a magnet, take one shape or another.
  10. Cracked nails effect... It is created using gels of several contrasting colors.
  11. Marine theme- drawings in the form of anchors, sails, steering wheels, white and blue stripes are welcome.

The cost of a pedicure with gel polish is determined by the qualifications of the master, the cost of the materials he uses, as well as the complexity of the design.

The most expensive gel polishes are Shellak, Jessica, OPI, Gelish, Harmony. There are also cheaper Chinese counterparts that hold up worse, so the cost of manicure and pedicure with their use should be lower.

The price is also influenced by the level of the salon in which the master works. Many craftsmen work at home for themselves, so they have the opportunity to offer prices an order of magnitude lower.

Someone, just after completing the courses, begins to work for friends and acquaintances for a nominal fee. On average, the cost of the procedure in Russia starts from 800 rubles.

You can also do a pedicure at home. To do this, you will need to purchase a one-time UV lamp, nail files, primer, base and top, as well as buy gel polishes.

The cost of the procedure will be much lower than when contacting a salon, and the cost of purchasing tools and materials will pay off in a few months.

No one will argue that well-groomed legs are a prerequisite for every girl who loves herself. And this applies not only to soft heels and trimmed nails. Gel polish will help you create the perfect pedicure without any problems. Having spent an hour or two of your time on the weekend, for the next month you can forget about caring for your nails.

Why is this needed?

Today, unpainted toenails are considered tasteless and instantly ruin an attractive look. But not everyone can afford to apply varnish every day, which will instantly lose its appearance. Isn't it that much easier to make yourself a gel pedicure? It looks neater than ordinary varnish, and makes it easy to create designs of any complexity, and retains its appearance for several weeks.

This coating, of course, has its drawbacks.

  • You need special formulations, tools and a UV lamp, which is quite expensive.
  • If you make a gel design on your legs in the salon, then its cost will start at 1000 rubles, depending on the complexity of the design.
  • Such a pedicure, in fact, like a manicure, will not work for ladies who have nails growing rapidly, because soon the nail near the cuticle will be visible, and this instantly kills all the attractiveness.
  • If you decide to get rid of the coating, you will hardly be able to do this on your own, you will have to go to the salon again.
  • After long-term use of gel polish, natural nails require long-term restoration.

And yet, even with all these drawbacks, the convenience, time saving and attractiveness that such coverage provides is well worth choosing.

Required materials and tools

In order to put your toenails in order, you should go to a good salon to a trusted master. The procedure for creating a gel coat is quite complicated and requires some experience. If you want to try to make a nail design yourself, then you need to carefully study the technology, be patient, be prepared for the fact that not everything will work out the first time, and buy the following things:

  • a set of tools with which you will do a pedicure;
  • degreasing liquid;
  • base gel;
  • basic gel coating;
  • topcoat;
  • special lamp for drying the coating;
  • brushes for drawing pictures;
  • rhinestones, sparkles, foil - optional;
  • cuticle oil.

These are the basic materials and tools that will be needed in the work. For shopping, it is better to go to a specialized store, where professional craftsmen are purchased. This way you can be sure to buy good materials. And the choice in such places is really good. As soon as you buy everything you need and you manage to set aside a couple of hours for creativity, you can start.

Step-by-step process of gel pedicure

So you're ready to get creative, but not really sure where to start. It is worth carefully studying how gel extension is done correctly in order to avoid many mistakes later. Alternatively, you can watch a video of a master class on applying gel polish on nails.

  1. First you need to get a pedicure. This process is familiar to everyone and should not cause confusion. Naturally, in addition to trimming the nails, you also need to put the heels in order and remove excess hairs, if any. With pretty nails but cracked heels, you're unlikely to look dignified. Therefore, we arm ourselves with nail files and wire cutters and begin to create beauty.
  2. Now that the legs are looking attractive, you can start creating your nail designs. The first thing to do is to remove the top keratin layer to avoid possible flaking. For this procedure, there is a special nail file, with which it is necessary to process each nail without missing a millimeter of the surface.
  3. Degreasing. Everything is extremely simple here - you simply wipe your nails with a cotton swab soaked in a special compound.
  4. The base coat can now be applied. A lot of it is not required, it is just a link between the nail plate and the main coating. Cover each nail gently, avoiding skin and cuticle contact. If you can't avoid it, you need to immediately remove the composition. And only after that you can dry your nails in a lamp. It usually takes three minutes for each layer to dry. But it all depends on the specific model. Therefore, be sure to read the instructions. Only after one leg has been processed, you can proceed to the other.
  5. The most creative and at the same time the most difficult stage is the application of the color gel. It all depends on the riot of your imagination and on which drawing is chosen. But first, you should choose an uncomplicated design. For example, a jacket. It looks decent, but all you need is to carefully draw a white strip. Later, when you gain some experience in pedicure, you can transfer complex patterns to your nails, decorate them with rhinestones and sparkles.
  6. After the drawing is applied, everything is fine, you can cover your toenails with a top coat. Apply the composition gently, leaving no gaps. It is advisable to dry the nails in stages, and not the entire foot completely. That is, they applied a coating on 2-3 nails, dried them, then with the rest in the same way. And in the end, you can dry all your nails for a short time.
  7. Degrease your nails again.
  8. Do not forget about caring for the skin on the legs. To do this, we take a special oil and process the cuticle. Fortunately, many of them are sold in special dispensers with balls or with a brush. So just drip a drop onto the cuticle and spread with your fingertips.

This concludes the work. If you did everything right and took your time, then you have a stylish and, most importantly, long-term pedicure. Now this procedure will have to be resorted to only after a month and a half.

Decorative coating care

If you want your toenails to look attractive, there is little time to spend on beautiful designs. Despite the fact that gel polish is quite durable, it requires compliance with some rules along the way. Otherwise, he will rather quickly lose all attractiveness and integrity.

  1. During the day before the procedure, do not use oily foot creams.
  2. In the first two days after application, prolonged contact with hot water should be avoided. The gel polish is still curing and may be affected by moisture and high temperatures. The same applies to visiting baths and saunas. For the sake of beauty on your feet, you can live a couple of days without these delights, as well as without a hot bath.
  3. Try to avoid contact with household chemicals. Rinse the tub thoroughly after washing and shower well after using the pool. In any case, it will not be superfluous, since the "chemistry" dries out the skin and leads to premature aging.
  4. Do not try to reshape your nails with a regular nail file. Such a procedure will instantly lead to delamination of the gel coating. If you are so tired of the shape of the nails or the design, it is better to remove all the varnish completely and carry out the whole procedure again.

Advice
Do not try to remove gel polish in the usual way. This can damage the nail plate. Here you will need the help of salon specialists. Or, if there is a familiar master, you can ask for advice from him

In principle, a gel pedicure does not require any special approach to itself. With a little attention and care, your legs will remain attractive for a long time.

Gel polish has taken away the best qualities of gel for nail extension and regular color polish. The universal coating attracts with its durability, the ability to apply it on long and short nails. Gel polish pedicure allows you to add neatness and create an original design.

The coating includes a base, color, top, and is a reliable protection for the nail plate. Thanks to him, the nails are strengthened and grow well. Manicure and pedicure with gel polish looks natural, and also allows you to keep the nails looking great after removal.

Gel polish: properties and design

A manicure with gel polish lasts up to two weeks, and a pedicure - a little over a month. Such a coating hardens only under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, therefore, at home or, for example, in salons, a 36 W UV lamp or a special LED lamp is used. The UV coating dries up in 2-3 minutes, and the LED in a few seconds.

In many cases, gel polish is combined with a gel manicure or pedicure. The gel is more often used by those who have worse adhesion of other coatings. Gel polish does not include harmful ingredients, therefore it does not harm nails and can be used constantly.

They combine gel polish with jewelry, often use unique seasonal, festive, and other collections of coatings to create a unique design. Favorite option for most women - and manicure. In this case, it is customary to resort to different colors, mostly delicate shades of pink in combination with white.

Often they are not limited to this, they experiment with bright colors, using a stencil to form lines, patterns, and also complementing the design with decor (rhinestones, sequins, honeycombs, sequins, slices, stickers). Usually, additional decorations are attached to the nail with special glue, and then a top is applied, which in this case performs a fixing function.

Especially many design ideas are based on color variations. Popular is the use of a smooth transition of colors one to another, a combination of black with other tones and decorations. Contrasting specks, polka dots with beads and rhinestones look beneficial. Sometimes simple bright colors, dry glitters with a mirror effect, sparkling or metallic sheen are enough to satisfy the most demanding tastes.

Stripes, small or large flowers, various patterns (mosaic, exotic) - all this is also used to embody special original ideas. When creating designs for short toenails and nails, there are some guidelines to consider. In particular, do not use more than 3 colors, as well as horizontal patterns with pictures. Large and very small objects will look out of place. Flat or vertical elements work best.

How to make a pedicure with gel polish at home

Well-groomed feet should always be! A combination skincare treatment can include acid peels, hardware, etc. It is hardware that is the most widespread and of high quality. With hardware pedicure, grinding attachments are used to remove corns, hardened skin. Unlike the edged version, the hardware one saves the result for about a month.

To do a pedicure at home, first remove the old covering on your feet. The disc is moistened with a special liquid, applied to the nails, and then wrapped with foil toes. They shoot everything in 15–20 minutes. Decorations, top, if any, are also preliminarily removed by cutting. In the case of the presence of fungus on the toenails, it is not advisable to do a pedicure with the application of gel polish.

Before applying the varnish, you need to do hygienic preparation: after removing the previous coating, remove the cuticle, shape the nails with a 240 grit file. To treat the heels on the feet, use a biogel for a pedicure with fruit acids. It removes calluses, makes the skin soft and tender.

To remove the stratum corneum on the skin of the legs, acid peeling is also carried out, which is suitable for hardware pedicure. It is similar to an acidic face peel, but safer than a pumice stone. It is noteworthy that acid peels are popular among men and women. Acids are not suitable only for sensitive skin of the feet. The home pedicure procedure includes the following steps:

  1. Degrease the surface of the nail plate, then thinly apply the base and polymerize it for 2 minutes.
  2. Cover the nails with a thin layer of gel polish. If you use two layers, you need to dry each of them under the lamp.
  3. Finish off by applying a transparent final top and curing under the lamp.
  4. Remove the sticky layer on top with a napkin or disc, treat the cuticle with oil.

Such a pedicure does not injure the nail plate on the feet. The colors of the varnish do not fade, and the coating is resistant to damage. Since the toenails grow back together with the coating slowly, the subsequent correction can be done only after a month.

To make your legs look healthy, beautiful, you need regular care. A pedicure will cause pleasant sensations, eliminate imperfections in the skin of the legs. And with gel polish, the result will be beautiful and stylish.

Lesson # 5: How to properly coat clients' nails with gel varnishes

The manicure service in the understanding of the client is hygienic cleaning + coating. You will be faced with the fact that an appointment for a manicure will be just such a complex, since the thirst for beauty never leaves women and gel polish allows housewives to forget about unpainted nails, even with difficult work. We have already successfully learned how to make a salon-quality manicure and pedicure, so this lesson will be devoted exclusively to covering nails with gel varnish systems.

The material of the online lesson will teach you:

  • Sequence of actions when working with gel polish systems (different brands);
  • Correct preparation of the nail plates of the hands and feet, without harm to them;
  • Select the necessary tools and tools;
  • How to apply the gel so that it is worn for a long time;
  • How to apply each of the components;
  • How to quickly assemble color sets;
  • What you need to know in order for the client to be satisfied with the coverage.

In order to cover the client's nails with gel, you will need:

  1. coating system (degreaser, base, pigment (gel polish), top);
  2. liquid for removing the dispersion layer (if necessary, if required by the system);
  3. a UV lamp with a timer for convenience;
  4. orange stick;
  5. nail file 180/240 (if you did not give the free edge a shape at the time of manicure);
  6. buff for the natural surface of the nail (180/240);
  7. cotton wipes or discs;
  8. a thin manicure brush for painting (made of synthetic fibers, they perfectly interact with the gel, unlike natural ones) and decorating materials;
  9. cuticle oil;
  10. hand cream.

Types of nail plates - and the corresponding gel structure:

Nails are different in structure, as well as the density of gels, so each plate has its own one. To ensure that the coating that you make is worn for a long time and not damaged, set the correspondence between the gel and the plate, then the result of wearing will also be perfect. If you talk to your client, she will tell you that different masters she approached using different brands gave different results. It is a mistake to think that the same gel is suitable for everyone. It's all about the density of the nail.

- it is not thin or thick, rarely exfoliates, quickly recovers and grows, it is a pleasure to work with this type. Has a light, homogeneous, but not transparent pinkish tint, which means that the body has a sufficient amount of vitamins, the diet contains mainly health benefits. It does not require any special nuances, standard approaches are ideal for her. Gels of all densities, including glitters, will work well on it.

- fragile, bends when touched by any force. Has a translucent, uneven color with a pink or beige tint. Most likely this condition is from vitamin deficiencies and a weakened immune system. Do not use too hard gels for this type of nail; it is better to use medium-dense or soft gels. Since the nails are bent, they are easier to separate from the coating from the slightest touch (for example, when washing dishes, if you help to remove the remnants from the plates with your fingernail), as a result, the nail will be broken and the coating is chipped. But if you take a gel that will slightly repeat the movements of the nail, then its sock will be 2 times better.

Dense nail plate- strong, usually grow quickly, bend with difficulty. They are pink on the plate and slightly yellow along the free edge. Sometimes such a seal is caused by hormonal disruptions, but not a fact, perhaps this is a normal condition of the nail. All dense gels of medium density are suitable for such nails as well, but soft ones that repeat flexibility - no, they are worn in interaction with this plate for a very short time.

How can a beginner manicure master learn to apply gel polish perfectly for salon work?

Choice of coating gel system:

First of all, decide on the company of the material you want to use. Of course I will note that it would be great if you have multiple species. But the first time, when you are just learning and, perhaps, are still limited in the budget for purchasing, opt for a medium-dense composition.

I will definitely make a wide review of gel polishes, but a little later. Now I will share my experience of choosing when I was just starting to work.

UV varnishes are divided into varieties (number of layers):

  • 3-phasers (Base, Gel Polish, Top);
  • 2 phasics (Gel Polish, Top);
  • 1 phasics (Gel Polish).

I formed my first palette like this (I always choose 3-phase ones):

  1. The first brand I purchased was Creator. Manufactured in the USA. In terms of density, it is the golden mean, that is, it is almost universal. Each layer is baked for 2 minutes. Its price is quite economical. Since I did not have a large contribution, besides, I was just studying, I decided that as training it is suitable in all respects. My first palette was 10 colors. And I did not regret my choice. Combines with other brands, in case its base or top ends at the wrong time coming to Gelish and vice versa.
  2. The next brand is Fox. With it, I replenished the palette with 15 more colors. Manufacturer USA. This brand is suitable for thin nails, just what I was missing. By the way, on a normal type of plate, it is also good to wear. Each layer is baked for 2 minutes. It does not stack well with other brands, its sock depends on a degreaser, it wears better with those that leave sticky, rather than just evaporate. Its cost is higher than the creator, but not significantly, belongs to the premium class. Does not impart special density to the nail, but it is worn for a long time.
  3. To these I have added a few shades of Blaze GelLaxy. I bought only 5 flowers. It is very dense and thick for hard and normal nails. Each layer is baked for 2-2.5 minutes. It is also produced in the USA, it is one of the first premiums that appeared, I could not help but buy it. Coating with the Gelish system is possible.
  4. The completion of my varied planer board was Gelish varnishes. Belongs to the premium class. Made in the USA. It is versatile, medium density allows it to cover any plate. The cost is above average, but consistent with its quality. Each layer is baked for 2 minutes.
  5. As a universal base, I chose a base from Kodi (for baking, it usually takes 2 minutes) and a primer with a sticky layer from Blaze. They are gorgeous to wear and apply, guarantee flawless adhesion, they were used simultaneously.
  6. To remove the gel and the dispersion layer, I used Jerden Proff Gel Cleanser liquids. They work perfectly and are inexpensive.

My strategy was simple, I needed to keep within the budget, start doing as many services as possible in order to earn, develop and gain experience. Therefore, I chose a gel polish of good quality, bought system products for it (bond, top, base) in several basic colors. I started learning and working. At the same time, I bought materials for building, but here I did not save, I chose expensive quality, corresponding to the price. This is how I realized my goals. As soon as the work of a manicure master began to generate income, I replenished my stocks with new products + systems for them. All of this isn't cheap, so buy a foundation and a couple of shades, replenishing them over time. So I created for myself a diverse palette suitable for everyone, which was full of flowers.

How to present your gel palette to clients?- to do this, make a tablet, you should not constantly unwind the gels, it spoils them.

Tip: It will be cost-effective for you if you distribute your palette by cost. For the client, this is another point of care, so you will show concern for each client, and for those who can afford expensive brands and for people with modest opportunities. Feel free to explain what the price difference is, but do it right. For example, say that a varnish, the coating of which is the cheapest of all, is not inferior in quality, almost corresponds to the expensive one, but the purchase price is slightly lower, although there is still a difference in the coating - it is gloss and brightness. This approach is working, clients will be satisfied, and your possibilities in variety as a master will impress them once again.

How I choose gel polish, my methods:

  1. First of all, I pay attention to the smell. A quality product smells pleasant or neutral; if the smell is too poisonous and resembles plastics, you will most likely not be satisfied.
  2. I look at the composition. Here the question is not in density, but in consistency, it should be uniform (if it is one tone or mother-of-pearl, sparkles can settle - this is normal), then, there should be no lumps, it should be optics, so pay attention to how the gel flows down by the brush. IMPORTANT: remember, gels tend to stagnate, they also have an expiration date, so be careful not to buy settled. Try to shop in well-known professional cosmetics stores, there are a large number of visitors, so they do not have time to stagnate.
  3. Consider Ouija boards, how this composition lay down in an example. Usually in stores they are covered by the consultants themselves.
  4. Personally, I like American-made gels the most.
  5. Try to buy the base, top, bond (primer) for each gel separately. But I had universal ones.

Nuances:
