Effective ways to plan the sex of your baby. Clinical methods for planning the sex of the child. Planning a baby's gender using the Japanese method

Is it possible to plan the sex of the unborn child? There is no definite answer to this question. Most doctors are sure that it is impossible to do this naturally, while others believe that with the help of some methods it is still possible to conceive a baby of the desired sex.

So, let's figure out what affects gender, whether it is possible and how to plan the sex of the unborn child.

What determines the gender of a child

Modern science has proven that only a man influences the gender of future children. The sex of the baby is determined at the time of conception and depends on which sperm fertilized the egg - the carrier with a male (Y) or female (X) set of chromosomes. It has been established that a woman's egg is a carrier of a pair of X chromosomes (XX). Thus, if it is fertilized by a sperm carrying the Y chromosome, there will be a boy (XY), if the X chromosome is a girl (XX).

Currently, there are several ways in which you can try to conceive a boy or girl. Let's consider them.

preimplantation genetic diagnosis

Nowadays, planning the sex of the unborn child is possible thanks to the method of preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), carried out as part of IVF (in vitro fertilization). The method gives an almost 100% guarantee.

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis- genetic study of the embryo for the presence of genetic diseases and gender, carried out before its transfer into the uterine cavity. The research is very expensive, therefore it is carried out exclusively for medical reasons. For example, if the future parents suffer from inherited diseases (cystic fibrosis). In this case, preimplantation genetic diagnosis helps prevent the birth of a child with a genetic disease. Determination of the sex of the embryo through this study is also used if there is a very high probability of giving birth to an infant with a genetic disease associated with sex. For example, diseases such as hemophilia or Duchenne muscular dystrophy are only transmitted to boys.

Planning the sex of the baby by ovulation

Ovulation- a physiological process, as a result of which a mature egg is released from the ovarian follicle for fertilization with a sperm. The life span of an egg is 12 hours. Ovulation occurs in women every 28-35 days. With a regular menstrual cycle, it occurs approximately 14 days before the start of the next menstrual period.

As mentioned above, the sex of the unborn child depends on which sperm, the carrier of the X chromosome (female) or Y chromosome (male), will be the first to reach the egg and fertilize it. It was found that the sperm with the Y-chromosome is more active, but less tenacious, in contrast to its "friend" with the X-chromosome. Thus, if intercourse occurs on the day of ovulation, then the probability of conceiving a boy is very high, since the first to reach the egg and fertilize it is the more active sperm, the carrier of the male (Y) set of chromosomes. If ovulation occurs after intercourse a few days later, then in this case the fertilization of the egg will occur with a more tenacious sperm, the carrier of the female (X) set of chromosomes, when the carriers of the male (Y) set of chromosomes will all die. Thus, a couple wishing to conceive a boy needs to have sexual intercourse on the day of ovulation (how to determine the day of ovulation), and a girl - 2-3 days before her.

Some experts have found that blood renewal occurs in people every few years - in women every 3 years, in men - every 4 years. And whose blood was "younger" at the time of conception, this gender will be the baby.

It is important to note that the renewal of blood in the human body can occur under the influence of certain factors (transfusion, blood donation, childbirth, abortion, surgery). In this case, the countdown begins not from the date of birth of a man or woman, but from the date of blood loss.

Important to remember that no method gives a 100% guarantee of the birth of a baby of the correct sex. Therefore, parents-to-be should psychologically prepare for the fact that a “little prince” may appear in the family instead of a “little princess” and vice versa. Planning the sex of the unborn baby should not turn into a "disease". When the family already has children of the same sex, the parents' desire to have a baby of the other sex is very well-founded and understandable. But these desires in no way should affect the life of the future baby, if he was born of the wrong gender. The disappointment of the parents can negatively affect the whole life of the crumbs. Therefore, remember, no matter who is born in the family - another boy or another girl - this is your blood, he needs your care, warmth, affection and love.

Some parents-to-be are upset when, at the very first ultrasound, they find out that the child is not the gender that they cherished in their dreams. Is it possible to deceive nature and "choose" the sex of the unborn child in advance?
I present to you the ways of planning the sex of the child.

Special diet

For the conception of a boy, it is recommended that potassium and sodium ions prevail, and as little calcium and magnesium ions as possible. To do this, it is proposed to eat meat, fish, potatoes, mushrooms, dry white beans, lentils, dried peas, legumes, to eat only protein from eggs. From fruits, cherries, apricots, peaches, prunes, dried apricots, dates are especially necessary. Recommended drinks: tea, beer, fruit juices, soda mineral waters. Also, for a woman who wants to conceive a boy, cookies, biscuits, semolina and rice are useful. In addition, the woman is advised to salt all food as much as possible, eat canned foods and yeast.

Not recommended: milk and dairy products, mineral waters with calcium, shrimps, crabs, fish caviar, pastries made from dough mixed with eggs, bread, pancakes, waffles, milk pastries, green salad, green beans, green beans, raw cabbage , watercress, dill, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts, cocoa, milk chocolate.

In order to conceive a girl, the diet of the expectant mother should have a lot of calcium and magnesium ions, but not enough potassium and sodium. This combination is provided by: meat in limited quantities, fresh or frozen fish, all types of baked goods without salt and yeast, eggs, potatoes in limited quantities, eggplants, asparagus, beets, carrots, cucumbers, watercress, green beans, peas, peppers, onions, tomatoes. And also unsalted almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, sugar, honey, spices, jams and aromatic herbs. Of the drinks, coffee, tea, cocoa, calcium mineral waters are useful.

At the same time, over-salted foods, sodas, canned juices, and Pepsi-Cola should be avoided. It is necessary to exclude sausages, ham, smoked meats, salted and canned fish, crayfish and shrimps, all cheeses, ice cream, common breads and industrial confectionery, corn and canned vegetables, fried potatoes, raw tomatoes, lentils, salted dried fruits, plums, apricots , cherries, bananas, oranges, currants, melons. During this period, you should not eat salt, yeast, soda, olives, margarine, spicy sauces, and any canned food.

The diet should be followed from the beginning of the menstrual cycle until the intended conception.

Average percentage of successful hits- 82. There is no strictly scientific explanation for this technique. Most likely, the endocrine functions of the body, hormonal balance change, which ultimately affects the germ cells. It has only been proven that temporary adherence to the diet does not cause any harm to the body. After conception, the expectant mother can eat whatever she wants (and what is good for the baby).

Use of frequency of intercourse

This method is based on the fact that "male" spermatozoa are more motile, there are more of them (several times), but they have a shorter lifespan. For "women" it is the other way around. The natural mechanism of regulation of the numerical sex ratio is based on this:

With frequent sex- at the limit of a man's abilities or so (we imitate the natural situation of a shortage of males and an excess of females) - both "male" and "female" spermatozoa are present in the ejaculate in a natural proportion, but the former have an advantage due to their greater number and mobility.

When you rarely have sex- once every 1-2 weeks or less (we simulate the situation of an excess of males and a shortage of females) - the concentration of "female" spermatozoa increases due to their increased vitality.
The method, of course, is probabilistic, but the probability of getting the desired one is ~ 70-80%

Using the term of ovulation

If intercourse occurred less than a day before ovulation, then the nimble Y are the first to reach the target. With a probability of up to 78 percent, it can be said that a boy will be born. If intercourse occurred 25-36 hours before ovulation or a day or two after it, then the Y chromosomes die. At the moment of conception, predominantly spermatozoa with an X chromosome remain near the egg. Therefore, the probability of conceiving a girl is more than 71 percent. The difficulty lies only in the reliable calculation of the time of ovulation.
Today, the day of ovulation is best calculated using special tests that determine the level of luteinizing hormone (such test strips are sold in pharmacies).

Even odd

Studies of another "non-traditional" doctor Elena Shavrina revealed the dependence of the sex of the child on the age of the woman. In even years of the life of the expectant mother, the conception of a girl is more likely in February, April, June, August and October. Odd - in January, March, May, July, September, November. The conception of a boy is exactly the opposite. True, the method has a limitation: it is suitable only for those women who ovulate in the middle of the calendar month ... "

Blood renewal

The age of the parents by the day of conception is calculated with an accuracy of the day. Then, the father's age is divisible by four and the mother's age by three. These magic numbers are based on the frequency of blood renewal - every four years for men and every three years for women. Along with this, large blood loss is taken into account - operations, childbirth, blood transfusion. The resulting decimal fractions are compared, and the sex of the unborn child is identified with the gender of the parent whose biorhythmic indicator is higher (and, therefore, whose blood is "newer"). By the way, if the mother's Rh factor is negative, then, on the contrary, whose balance is less.

The probability of success of the forecast is from 68 to 98 percent.

The influence of the moon

In the late 1950s, the Czech doctor O. Jonas made an almost revolutionary discovery: undoubtedly, along with the menstrual cycle, there was a second, individual cycle of the greatest predisposition to conception, set from birth and accompanying with absolute accuracy the entire reproductive period of a woman's life. This second cycle is focused on the phase of the moon that preceded the birth of this woman. Each return of the corresponding moon phase means for a particular woman a period of greatest predisposition to conception (fertile period) and reproduction. To determine the phase of the moon (the distance between the moon and the sun in ecliptic longitude), you need to know the hour of your birth. If you do not know your hour of birth, then focus on 12 o'clock in the afternoon.

Later, detailed studies gave an amazing result: if the most favorable days of both cycles are used for conception, then 85% of fertilization falls on the cycle of changing the phases of the moon and only 15% on the known biological cycle. The fertile period occurs when both cycles intersect.
Thus, Dr. Jonas received a key in his hands, with the help of which it became possible to accurately calculate the days of any woman most prone to conception. The dates obtained could be used in order to either prevent pregnancy or become pregnant with the highest probability. It can be assumed that at a time when a person lived to a much greater extent in unity with cosmic rhythms, monthly ovulation coincided with the corresponding phase of the moon, and therefore, as a rule, there were no two cycles. For some women, a single cycle has survived to this day. The great sensitivity to the cycle of the phases of the moon is also confirmed by the following experience: if a woman who has not had ovulation for a long time, she was caused by a special massage of the connective tissues, then the treatment is most successful if it began several days before its onset according to the estimated ovulation in accordance with the phases Moon than at any other time or in the middle of the menstrual cycle.

According to statistics from various maternity hospitals around the world, it turns out that most births occur, firstly, on the full moon and, secondly, on the new moon. For all girls born under these phases of the moon, the fertile period begins on the full moon or, respectively, on the new moon. Perhaps this is the natural rhythm from which we have gone so far. As a result of further research, Dr. Jonas made a startling discovery: based on astrological calculations, it is possible to predict the sex of the unborn child with 98% certainty.

The moon travels between the male and female signs of the zodiac every 2.5 days. If your fertile period coincides with the period when the Moon is in the female sign, then you have a 98% chance of conceiving a girl, if with the period when the Moon is in the male sign, then a boy. In order to reliably determine the sex of the child, you should think about it a day before and six hours after the moment of your greatest predisposition to conception.

If the phases of both cycles of the fertile period are located side by side in time, then the establishment of gender can be approximate, since astrological phases change between both phases. This is something to think about if you have a strong desire to have a baby of a certain gender.

If you do not know your time of birth, and as has been recommended, your hour of birth was determined as 12 noon, you should be careful when choosing your gender.

Choosing a position during sexual intercourse

The birth of a boy is facilitated by conception in the position of "man behind", and girls - the usual classic "man on top".

In any case, none of the presented methods provide a 100% guarantee. I think that a desired child is always happiness, no matter what gender he is!

How to schedule a baby's gender? In general, is it possible to choose the sex of the child before conception? They say that nature does not completely control this process and there is a way out.

Despite the fact that more boys are born, the number of the female half of the population exceeds the male, and all because men often do not live to be 50 years old. This phenomenon has received the name in science "the defensive reaction of the ethnos."

How is the floor formed?
Where does the sex of the child come from? This happens by chance: the male cell can have both X or Y chromosomes, while the female carries only the first type of chromosome. A girl gets in if the egg is the XX chromosome compound, and if the Y chromosome gets into the egg, then a boy is born.

Analysis of these data suggests that the father is responsible for the sex of the child. But scientists don't think so. Some women are programmed by nature to give birth to a certain gender. In other words, only one egg can fertilize them. But there is no need to be upset that only a girl or a boy is born, which means that fate has decided so.

Fighting destiny
Doctors are trying to give some guarantees when planning the sex of the child. There are several of the most well-known methods of conceiving the desired child.

Method number 1 - ovulation
If you conceive a child 2-24 hours before ovulation, then a girl will be born. This is due to the fact that Y-sperm do not live long, reaching the egg cell the fastest. X-sperm can live in a woman's body for several days while waiting for the fertilization of the egg. But, as artificial conception shows, the number of boys and girls at the time of ovulation is the same.

But this does not mean that this method should be ignored. The main thing is to know your day of ovulation. It can be calculated by measuring the body temperature in the colon. With a stable menstrual cycle, ovulation occurs on the 15th day.

Ovulation

Every second couple makes their attempts to get pregnant on the wrong days of the female cycle. Therefore, I will briefly tell you about the principle of your menstrual cycle and the ovulation process.

Ovulation is a process that occurs once per menstrual cycle, when due to a change in hormone levels, an egg is released from the ovary. This usually happens 12-16 days before the start of your next period.
Eggs Produced in the ovaries. During the first phase of each menstrual cycle, one of the eggs matures to be released from the ovary.

Closer to ovulation, your body produces an increased amount of the hormone estrogen, which promotes the growth of endometrium in the uterus and allows you to create a favorable environment for sperm.
High levels of estrogen provoke a sharp increase in another hormone - LH (luteinizing hormone). The so-called release of LH promotes the release of the egg from the ovary, and ovulation occurs.
Typically, ovulation occurs 24-36 hours after the LH surge, so LH is an excellent indicator for determining peak fertility.

Fertile days - the few days before and after ovulation, when the chances of getting pregnant are greatly increased.

Your fertile days begin 5-6 days before ovulation, but this is not yet the optimal time for conception. The most favorable date for conceiving a child is the last day before ovulation (during fertile days). This is due to the fact that the life of the egg is 24 hours, and the sperm remain active for up to five days. Therefore, you might be surprised to learn that a couple can conceive a child by having sex a few days before ovulation.

The two most fertile (likely to conceive) days of your cycle are the day of ovulation and the day before.

How to determine the period of ovulation by the color of the discharge?
With the help of mucus from the uterus, which women are used to calling simply “secretions,” you can tell when you are ovulating. Just before ovulation and before your fertile days begin, the secretion changes color. It becomes almost transparent, stringy and less dense. This is due to the enrichment of secretion with proteins, salts and glucose, which provide an ideal environment for sperm. The actual ovulation begins in the middle of your fertile days, during the so-called "mucus climax", when there is so much mucus that pads are indispensable.

Calculating fertile days using temperature
The body temperature of many women rises by 0.2-0.6 degrees before their fertile days (before ovulation). This is due to the effects of the hormone progesterone. They measure the temperature in the anal passage, and call it basal. Basal temperature should be measured in the morning without getting out of bed. This will help you pinpoint your fertile days. Basal temperature should be measured for several months in a row, not forgetting to record accurate results. It is best to create a special table for this.

Important: Infectious diseases, alcohol and lack of sleep can significantly affect the time of ovulation.

Fertilization of an egg can occur within 24 hours after ovulation. If fertilization does not occur, the overgrown endometrium begins to exfoliate from the walls of the uterus, and your period begins. From this moment, a new cycle is counted.

To calculate the length of your menstrual cycle, you need to count the number of days from the first day of your period to the day before the start of your next period. Cycle times vary from woman to woman, but typically range from 23 to 35 days.

How to get pregnant with a boy? - have sex as close as possible to the day of ovulation, preferably directly on the day of ovulation or 12 hours before its onset.

How to get pregnant with a girl? - to plan intimacy 2-3 days before ovulation. By the time the “ready”, mature egg comes out to meet, all the “boy” spermatozoa will have time to die (the life of Y-chromosomes is short) and only “girlish” ones will remain.

Method number 2 - abstinence
Some experts agree that the sexual activity of partners affects the sex of the unborn child. With prolonged abstinence, a girl is more likely to be born, and with an intense lifestyle - a boy. During abstinence, the male body produces antibodies that block the Y chromosome. To give birth to a girl, you need to abstain for about 1-1.5 months, even affection or thoughts of sex are not allowed.

Method number 3 - food
There is some evidence that salty and potassium-rich foods may help you conceive a boy. But food, which contains magnesium and calcium, contributes to the birth of girls. Success is guaranteed by 70% if you switch to nutrition 2-2.5 months before conception.

Diet for conceiving a boy:

1. Meat of all sorts, any fish, smoked meats.
2. Bread, rice, semolina.
3. Mushrooms, potatoes, peas, lentils.
4. Bananas, cherries, oranges, apricots, peaches.
5. Dried apricots, dates, prunes.
6. Salty food.

Dairy products, milk, mineral water with calcium, crabs, shrimps, caviar are not welcome. Products made from dough mixed with milk and eggs should be minimized, like beans, beans, walnuts, dill, cocoa, almonds, milk chocolate.

Diet for conceiving a girl:

1. Tea, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, mineral water with calcium.
2. Fresh fish, meat of all sorts, eggs, fish.
3. Baked goods without yeast and salt.

In limited quantities, you need to consume asparagus, eggplants, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots.

Method number 4 - blood renewal
The cyclic renewal of blood can be another method of conceiving a child of the desired sex. Younger blood will be stronger. It is the owner of the younger blood who will decide the sex of the unborn child. Blood renewal in the fairer sex occurs once every three years, and for men - once every 4 years. This takes into account the weight of blood loss (miscarriage, transfusion, donation, surgery, abortion). To calculate, the date of the last blood loss is taken, and we add 3-4 years to the time close to conception.

Plan your baby's gender in Polish
In Poland, a method was developed for planning sex before conception, in which the exact day was supposedly calculated when sex should be in order to conceive a boy, and a separate day for conceiving a girl. According to her, in order to get a boy, sexual intercourse must take place strictly 11-12 days before the new menstruation. How to get pregnant with a girl? - have sex 13-14 days before the onset of menstruation.

That's it - one single day can change everything!

The Chinese way of planning a baby's gender
This method is very interesting. It turns out that the ancient Chinese sages are convinced that the sex of the unborn baby is entirely dependent on the woman. Planning the sex of a child in Chinese is based, firstly, on the age of the expectant mother at the time of conception, and secondly, for the month which at this age favors the conception of a boy or girl. How to get pregnant with a boy? - yes, very simple. For example, a potential mother at the age of 23 is most likely able to conceive a boy in the fall and winter months, and a girl in the spring. The 22-year-old mom has the opposite situation.

Planning the sex of the future baby according to the Chinese calendar is one of the easiest ways to use. The age at which you intend to become a mother is located horizontally, and the month for conceiving a child of the desired sex is located vertically. At the intersection of these two lines is the gender of the child.

This planning method was invented in ancient China, but curiously, it is still very relevant today (especially given the Chinese restrictions "one family - one child"). To this day, the patterns of this table of conception have not been deciphered, and perhaps they are completely absent, therefore, to trust it or not is a private matter for everyone. However, in most cases, the table determines the sex of the child with very high accuracy. In addition, the Chinese calendar of conception is very easy to check. For example, compare the date of your own conception by comparing the data of your relatives or friends.

Plan your baby's gender in Japanese
According to the antiquity of theories of conception, only the Japanese can compete with the Chinese. The land of the rising sun has its own, no less original method of how to get pregnant with a boy or how to get pregnant with a girl. In this case, you need to correlate the months of birth of both parents with the month of the intended conception. For example, if the baby's mom and dad were born in November, then they will be able to conceive a girl in July, and a boy in November.

The Japanese method of conception consists of a table and a graph. To calculate the appropriate time, it is necessary to determine the figure from the table, which is at the intersection of the months of birth of a woman and a man. You need to find this figure in the chart, it will also tell you the right time for conception. It is necessary to find the figure in the top line horizontally and track the changes in the vertical scale corresponding to this figure. According to some sources, the reliability of the Japanese method calendar data is almost 80% coincidence. According to others, it does not give more than 55% of the determination accuracy.

Conception in British
British experts, conducting a number of studies on the effects on the sex of the unborn child, have revealed an interesting pattern. It turned out that a man can count on the birth of a son much more confidently, in the event that there are many men in his family tree.

Having analyzed the family tree in more than 900 families (over 500,000 people), whose ancestors have lived since 1600, experts have come to a certain conclusion: the more male ancestors there are more representatives of the stronger sex, the higher the likelihood of having a boy in his family.

Scientifically, this is explained by the fact that in the sperm of these men there are much more Y-chromosomes responsible for the birth of a boy, the body produces them in greater quantities. The only pity is that scientists have not been able to find out the reasons for this pattern. However, as well as to find, some slight dependence of the sex of the unborn child in women in accordance with their family tree, neither in relation to the number of men, nor in relation to the number of women in the family.

How to get pregnant with a boy or girl using the lunar phase method?
The chances of planning the sex of the child are also offered by the method of lunar phases. According to this method, there is an individual cycle that most predisposes to conceiving a child with a specific sex characteristic. It is allegedly given from the very birth of the expectant mother and accompanies her entire reproductive age.

According to this theory, the probability of conception, in principle, is very high precisely during that period of time when the moon is in the same phase as at the birth of the woman herself. Of course, this phase should coincide with ovulation. To determine the phases of the moon, you need to know the hour of birth. Further calculations are based on the fact that every 2.5 days the Moon overcomes the path between the male and female zodiac signs. When the time of the greatest predisposition to conception coincides with the period when the Moon passes the female zodiac sign, you can conceive a girl. When there is a coincidence with the period, the Moon is in the male sign - a boy.

As soon as a woman finds out about a long-awaited pregnancy, she immediately has many questions, one of which is -how to find out the gender of the unborn child? Today, many new ways to study expectant mothers have appeared, but the question of how to determine the sex of the child in the first weeks (or even in the first days) of pregnancy remains open.

Which of them are considered the most effective and what are they based on?

How is a child of a certain gender formed?

To answer this question, you will have to recall the school course in biology. The woman's egg cell carries the X chromosome, and the male sperm - X or Y. If the egg is fertilized with the Y chromosome, then after the allotted time the couple will have a boy, and if X - you can expect the appearance of a girl.

It is difficult to predict this natural process in advance, to calculate the sex of the child or to influence it in any way, therefore, in the first weeks after conception, determining the sex of the child remains a mystery for both future parents and doctors.

What affects the gender of the baby?

There are many theories about the influence of different factors on the formation of a child's sex, but so far none of them has been 100% confirmed. For example, there is a statement that the future sex of the child depends on the weight of the mother and her diet.

According to some studies, women who weigh less than 54 kilograms are more likely to give birth to girls, and more fat women mostly have boys. Indeed, for the development of the male body, a little more nutrients are required than for the female, but the weight of the expectant mother still cannot be a guarantee of the birth of a child of a certain gender - there are a lot of cases when small, fragile girls successfully give birth to boys.

The same applies to theories regarding the age of future parents: hormonal changes that occur over the years in the human body can affect the sex of the embryo, but are not a determining factor.

Other studies say thatcalculate the sex of the childit is possible with the help of a certain diet. So, in order to give birth to a girl, expectant mothers need magnesium and calcium, that is, eggs, onions, dairy products, nuts, etc. But you can "order" a boy with the help of such products as fish, meat, legumes and fruits - that is, those that contain sodium and potassium.

In addition, acidic foods and drinks (in particular, natural fruit juices without sugar) are considered quite effective in planning the sex of the unborn baby: nutritionists advise women who want to conceive a girl to regularly consume them immediately before conception. This fact has a completely scientific justification - thanks to acidic products, the environment in the vagina also becomes acidic, due to which sperm with the Y chromosome quickly die.

But in any case, the fundamental role inplanning the sex of the unborn childonly Mother Nature plays, and future parents are unable to influence her decision. The only thing they can do is try to determine the sex of the baby before birth, using existing methods and techniques.

Methods for determining the sex of the baby

The most affordable way to determine the sex of a child today is considered to be an ultrasound scan, but the problem is that this can be done only at a specific date (after about the 16-17th week of pregnancy). But what to do if, for some reason, you need to know it earlier? To do this in advance with a probability of 100% is practically impossible today, so scientists are not abandoning their attempts to find a method that will allow not only to calculate the sex of a child immediately after conception, but also to plan it in advance.

The most popular and effective are severaltests to determine the sex of the child, which are based on various factors: parental blood, date of conception and special tables (Japanese and Chinese). You can test each of them in practice and make sure of their reliability below.

Determining the sex of the child by blood renewal

Methods for determining the sex of a child by the blood of parents have been known to scientists for a long time, and one of them is based on the date of blood renewal. There is an opinion that the complete renewal of blood, mucous membranes and tissues regularly occurs in the body of every person, and in men the frequency of this process is four years, and in women of the opposite sex - three. That is, if at the time of conception the woman's blood is "younger" than the man's, the couple will have a girl, and if on the contrary, then a boy.

It is rather difficult to say anything about the reliability of this method, since according to some data it "works" in 80% of cases, and according to others - in 50%. But experts say that if the calculations are done correctly, the couple has every chance of getting an answer to their question with a fairly high probability.

To calculatebaby gender by blood renewalyou need to know the date of conception of the baby, as well as the dates of birth of the future father and mother. True, it is important to remember that there are many factors that can speed up the process of blood renewal: these include transfusions, operations, major blood loss or donation. In this case, the countdown should not start from the date of birth, but from the day when the last major blood loss occurred.

Determining the sex of the child by the blood group of the parents

The method is based on the theory that the blood groups of the future father and mother have a great influence on the formation of the baby's sex. In other words, women and men with certain blood groups are more likely to have a child of a certain gender. Of course, this method has the right to exist, but its reliability is subject to great criticism.

The problem is that the table for determining the sex of a child by blood implies one result for one pair of parents, but after all, each of us knows cases when children of different sexes grow up in the same family.

Determining the sex of the child by the Rh factor of the parents

To determine the sex of the baby in this way, it is enough to compare the Rh factors of his parents. It is easy to do this: if the rhesus are the same, then the couple will have a girl, and if the indicators are different, a boy.

True, as in the case of calculating sex by blood group, one can strongly doubt the reliability of the result obtained, because he claims that either one boy or one girl can be born in a particular couple.

Determining the sex of the child according to the Chinese table

This method does not have any scientific substantiation, and it is based on the observations and practical experience of several generations of Chinese at once. He says that a woman at a certain age can conceive or give birth to a boy or girl only in certain months of the year.

According to researchers, the first mention of the method dates back to the XII century, anddetermining the sex of the child according to the tablehelped many monarchs from the Middle Kingdom to plan the gender of their heirs. Howfind out the gender of the child according to the table?

It's very simple - you need to know the month of birth of the expectant mother, as well as the month of conception or the expected birth of the baby. By the way, modern parents also talk about its high efficiency of the Chinese table - according to estimates of couples who used this method, the probability of getting the correct result is about 90%.

To determine the gender of the expected baby according to the Chinese table, simply find the corresponding cell in the table - the intersection of the line of your age and the column - the month of conception.

Interestingly, using this table, you can also plan the sex of the child. In the row for your age, select the months in which a boy or girl is most likely to arrive. Subtract 9 months from the selected month, and you will get the estimated month of conception.

Determining the sex of the child according to the Japanese table

Determining the sex of a child according to the Japanese calendar, which came to us from the Land of the Rising Sun, is very similar to the determination according to the Chinese table, and is also based solely on practical observations. The difference between them is that the first takes into account not only information about the mother and the month of conception (or the expected month of the child's birth), but also the date of birth of the father. Thus, the Chinese methodology can be called more flexible and, accordingly, more reliable.

The only problem some couples may face is the difficulty in determining the month of conception. For example, if a woman ovulates on the 31st, then conception can most likely occur on the 1st and 2nd of the next month, because the life span of sperm is from 3 to 5 days. The accuracy of the method according to various data is from 70 to 90%.

To determine the sex of the unborn child according to the Japanese table, you need to find the number corresponding to your pair in table 1. Then we find this number in the top row of Table 2. In the column of the corresponding date we find the month in which conception took place. Moving along this line to the middle of the table, we determine the probability of having a boy or girl by the number of crosses - the more there are, the greater the probability.

Determining the sex of the child by the date of ovulation or the date of conception

Every woman knows that conception can occur only on certain days of the month: on average, it is two days before ovulation, ovulation itself and two days after it. A technique that allowscalculate the sex of the child by the date of conception(more precisely, the date of ovulation), is based on "behavior" and the characteristics of the X and Y chromosomes.

According to research, "girlish" sperm (that is, carriers of the X chromosome) are slow enough, but more tenacious, so they can stay in the uterus from 2 to 4 days and calmly "wait" for ovulation. But spermatozoa with the Y sign, on the contrary, are very mobile, but their lifespan is very short.

That is, if intercourse occurred 2-4 days before ovulation, then there is a high probability that the couple will have a girl, and if exactly on the day of ovulation (or immediately after it), you can expect a boy to appear.

Method for determining the sex of the child Freiman-Dobrotin

Quite a complicated calculation. But it is considered one of the most accurate. It's good that we have a calculator)

Tables: O - father and M - mother

First, in table O1 we find the intersection of the year of birth of the father and the year of conception of the child, remember or write the number into the intersection.

And so on all tables from the first to the fifth number.

Then we put together the obtained numbers and, according to table O6, we find the final coefficient.

Similarly, we do all the actions for the mother according to tables M1-M6

In the end, we look at who has a higher final coefficient, if mom has a girl, if dad has a boy. If both are zero, there will be a girl

Determination of the sex of the child by the Budyanskikh method

Calculation method:

1. If you use the mother's date of birth in the calculations, then you need to determine her approximate date of conception. To do this, subtract 9 months from the mother's date of birth (approximately 226 days).
Next, you need to determine the even or odd year of the mother's conception.
Further, according to the table, find the type of the mother's cycle: in the first column, look for the appropriate month of the mother's conception, and look for the intersection with the type of year (even or odd) - the intersection will be the type of the mother's cycle.

2. According to the preliminary date of the conception of the child, do the same actions as the mother. Determine the parity of the year of conception of the child, look in the first column for a suitable interval of dates in which conception is planned and for the intersection of the type of year of conception and the date of conception - the type of the child's cycle will be indicated.

If the type of cycle of the mother and the type of cycle of the child are the same, then there will be a girl, if they differ, then there will be a boy.

Is it possible to predict the sex of a child with 100% probability?

Unfortunately, none of the methods listed above can give 100% accurate results. Even specialists in ultrasound diagnostics sometimes make mistakes: for example, the fetus can turn so that it will be very problematic to determine the sex of the child.

In addition, until the 18th week of pregnancy, the male and female genitals are very similar, so even an experienced doctor can confuse them.

There are only two ways to find out the sex of a child for sure:

  • ECO. When performing in vitro fertilization (IVF), doctors usually determine the sex of the embryo before transplanting it into the uterus. But doing such a study only at the request of parents in most countries is considered unethical, therefore it is carried out only in order to exclude genetic pathologies characteristic of men and women.
  • Intrauterine tests... These most commonly involve amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling and are performed between 15-18 and 11-14 weeks of gestation, respectively. But since these tests carry some risk, they are also performed only in

The statistics read: at birth, there are 106 boys per 100 girls. But male embryos are more vulnerable than female ones - already at reproductive age, the sex ratio becomes approximately equal.

Geneticists give an unambiguous answer: only the father can influence the sex of the child. Female eggs only have X chromosomes, while male sperm can contain X chromosomes and Y chromosomes.

The sex of the child depends on the combination of sex chromosomes: girls have two X chromosomes, boys carry a set of XY chromosomes.

It turns out that in any case a woman can give the baby only the X chromosome, and it depends on the child's father how this genetic kit will be supplemented.

Voice of the people

Folk tales about how to conceive a boy or girl are passed from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation. What is not advised to future parents.

If you want to give birth to a boy- three weeks before conception, a woman should include meat, fish, smoked meats, and salty foods in the diet, give up dairy products, and dairy.

Increase sperm activity before intercourse by rinsing the testicles with cold water. Have sex at night and make sure there is a month in the sky, not a full moon.

Keep the bedroom window open and store a truly gentlemanly item under your pillow - a toy car or even a dagger. During conception, make sure that the man reaches orgasm first.

For conceiving a girl it is advised to choose rainy days. In this case, it is worth keeping a pink ribbon under the pillow. It is recommended to close the window and fill the air with perfume aromas.

Getting ready for pregnancy, a woman needs to adhere to a dairy diet, increase the consumption of fish, herbs, mineral water with, and bakery products without yeast and salt.

Cut back in your diet quantity, foliar,.

Fresh blood

There is a theory in Europe: the gender of the child can be planned by the blood of the parents. There is no scientific basis for this method, its effectiveness is just over 50%.

According to the theory, the child borrows the gender of that parent, whose blood at the time of conception was newer. In the male body, blood renewal occurs every four years, in the female more often - every three.

Calculating this is pretty simple: to do this, we divide the woman's age by three, and the man's age by four, and compare the remainders of the division. The one who has less residual blood has strong blood - the child will be of the same sex.

Planning in Polish

The exact day was calculated in Poland when it can turn out to be a boy, and when it can turn out to be a girl.

According to this technique, you can conceive a boy by having sex 11-12 days before menstruation, and if intercourse occurs 13-14 days before menstruation, get ready, you will have a girl.

Chinese calendar

According to the Chinese elders, the gender of the baby is influenced by the age of the expectant mother and the month of conception. In special tables, favorable months are indicated for the conception of girls and boys.

The horizontal indicates the woman's age, and the vertical indicates the months for conception. At the intersection of the two lines, it will be written who will be born: a boy or a girl.

The riddle of this table has not yet been deciphered, but you can check its reliability right now: for this, compare the date of your own conception with the indicators of the table.

Japanese forecast

Equally ancient is the Japanese theory, which compares the months of birth of both parents with the time of conception. The Japanese method of conception is made up of a table and a graph.

In the table at the intersection of the months of birth of a woman and a man, we find a figure. We are also looking for it in the schedule, which will tell you the appropriate month of conception. The accuracy of such a forecast is low and fluctuates within 59%.

British view of ancestors

The British have found that the gender of the child is influenced by the ratio of men and women in the family tree.

Having explored a large number of dynasties, the researchers concluded: the probability that a boy will be born is higher in those families where representatives of the stronger sex predominate among the ancestors.

For what reason this pattern arises, scientists have not been able to figure out.

Moon phases - to help

There is an opinion that in matters of gender planning you can even navigate the moon... How? From birth, the expectant mother is accompanied by an individual cycle.

If the moon enters the same phase as when a woman was born, the likelihood of conception increases significantly. Knowing the hour of her birth, a woman can easily determine the phases of the moon.

Every 2.5 days, the moon overcomes the path between the male and female signs of the zodiac: and therefore the gender of the baby will depend on the period with which conception coincides, to which sign of the zodiac at that moment the moon was closer.

Dreaming of a daughter - refrain

If the parents-to-be are sexually active, they will most likely have a boy.

Another theory based on opinion that the sex of the child is influenced by the sexual activity of men and women.

If spouses have sex every day or every other day, the probability of fertilization with Y-sperm is higher, while with abstinence in a man's body, the opposite process begins - antibodies are produced that block the Y-chromosome.

Method effectiveness accounts for 80%. With an irregular menstrual cycle, this technique about the relationship between the sex of the child and the sexual life of the parents may not be effective.

Which of these ways to arm yourself when planning a pregnancy is up to you.
