Aligning the nail plate with a base for gel polish

This is the simplest and most common way. For execution, the master uses a sufficiently thick base. There is no point in talking about brands, since everyone has their own preferences. The main criterion is density. After preparing the nails, we apply the base in a thin layer and dry it in an LED lamp. When applying the second layer, use a thin brush. We put a drop and distribute it over the entire surface. A bulge should form at the highest point of the nail, and for this it will be easier to turn your hand palm up. Then we send the nails back to dry in the lamp. It is important that after straightening the nails look as natural as possible.

Aligning the nail plate with acrylic powder

Preparing the nail and applying a thin layer of the base completely coincides with the first stages of the previous method. With the second layer, we apply the base with emphasis on the center of the nail plate and the edge. Then sprinkle the surface with acrylic powder (velvet sand) and dry in a lamp. We cover the nails with a thin layer of the base again, and as a result they become perfectly even. This method helps not only to align, but also to strengthen the nail plate, which improves the durability of the coating.

A manicure can often become a woman's business card, especially if it is often paid attention to during the day. When the nails flake and form a wave, it is not possible to get a good manicure. How to align the nail plate at home

There are several effective methods:

• Silk alignment.
• Resin nail treatment.
• Saturation with vitamins.

It is better to use the first two points with a strong deformation of the plate, and choose the method with vitamins as a basis. So you will resort to drastic measures at the very last moment.

How to align the nail plate with resin

To do this, you will need:

• A specialty resin available from cosmetic stores.
• Fine grain file for polishing.
• Dry cloth or paper.
• Small strips of foil.
• Biogel at will.

First, sand with special files. Carefully remove all irregularities with light movements, watch the evenness of the nails, looking at them from the side.

Wipe the dust off your nail with a cloth or paper. Apply a layer of healing resin, wait a few minutes for it to dry. Add a new layer of biogel if desired, then resin again. If you have special fixers in your arsenal, then use them at this stage. Wrap each finger in foil for five minutes. After this time, remove the foil.

Repeat the procedure as the new nail grows back.

How to align the nail plate with silk plaster

You will need:

• Special silk for nails.
• Nail glue, which you can find at a nail supply store.
• Fine-grain files for grinding.
• Orange stick.
• Makeup remover.

The first step will also be sanding, as with the resin. Take a fine-grained file and flatten the nail plate, as soon as it loses its shine - stop.

In places where you have bumps or the nail is very thin, drip a drop of glue. Immediately cut a small piece of silk fabric and attach it to your nail with an orange stick. Wait a couple of seconds for the glue to take.

Apply a transparent fixing layer of varnish on top.

Use colored polish with grains or glitters to hide some of the irregularities after nail repair.

How to align the nail plate with vitamins

This is a simple but very effective method. Place olive, almond and peach oil in a bowl of water. It is possible to use special compositions for nail baths. Keep your hands in the water for about ten minutes. Then rub the cuticle with oil and wait for it to be absorbed. Apply a layer of gel and refrain from colored varnishes. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times a week.

The nail plate has its own sculptural feature. Nails with expressive sculpture from nature, have a convex shape in the form of the letter "C".

Such nails are considered the most problematic by nail service masters. Any artificial material will "stand" on them. Along with sculpted nails, there are nails without natural sculpture. They are flat and flat springboards. This form of nails is considered problematic for artificial nail covering. First way:

The first way to align the nail plate is the most common. This alignment takes place with a base gel polish. In this case, the base of the gel polish should not be very liquid, otherwise it will spread over the nail and flow into the nail sinuses.
The coating is applied to each nail separately. First, we prepare the nails before applying the material. Then cover the nail with a base coat of gel polish. You need to look at the nail, where the irregularities are visible, put a drop of the base. We are waiting for it to spread, this is a few seconds and we dry it in a lamp. We do this with each nail. This option is also used when the client re-arrives at the overlap of the material. If the material is not soaked, but cut off with a cutter. Then we cut off part of the material, for example, only the color, then level the nail with a base layer.
When all nails are flat or trampoline, they are also smoothed with a base coat. Apply the base all over the nail and place the drop in the center of the nail. We work with each finger separately, dry it in a lamp one by one. Then, if you look at them from the side, they should be equally raised on all nails.

Second way:

The second method is leveling with a top final coat of gel polish. This method allows you to even out unevenly applied colored coating. Or overlap and level the helium nail design, french coat, moon coating.
On finished colored nails, apply a thin layer of top and level the coating with drops. We work with each nail separately, then dry the coating in a lamp.

Aligning the nail plate Is also one of the useful functions of gel polish. However, in order for the effect to really be noticeable, it is necessary to use the correct technique for this. There are several of them, depending on how problematic the nails are and what defect needs to be corrected.

With the help of gel polish, you can make alignment for nails with grooves and depressions, curvatures and waves, edges. In addition, gel polish is also well suited for correcting the shape of the nail: with its help, trampoline-shaped and flat marigolds can acquire a beautiful shape with the correct bend in the right place. Methods for aligning nails under gel polish

There are two ways to give the perfect surface to your nails: using a base for gel polish and using acrylic powder... Unfortunately, I cannot demonstrate the effect of alignment before and after on myself, since my nails do not have these problems, so the photos are for demonstrative purposes from the works of other masters.

Method 1 - aligning nails with a base for gel polish

Preparation of nails for coating is carried out in a standard manner: the cuticle is pushed back and removed (a combined manicure can be performed), a degreasing agent is applied.

Then a thin layer of base is applied and dried in a lamp. The base is also applied in the second layer, but using a slightly different technology. To do this, use a thin brush number 1 or 2: place a drop of the transparent base in the center of the nail and stretch it slightly to the free edge, give it time to distribute itself so that a bulge forms at the apex point. To do this, you can turn your hand palm up. Now we send this layer to dry in a lamp.

Several nuances of this method:

• The base should be very thick, otherwise it will be difficult to form a bulge.
• It is better to do the work with each nail separately, so that the effect does not have time to spread to the rest.
• For this method of leveling with the base, it is recommended to use a led lamp: in it, the drying time is faster, which does not allow the gel polish to spread during drying.
• Instead of a base, you can use biogel here.

Method 2 - leveling the nail plate with acrylic powder

The initial preparation of the nails is the same as in the previous method. The base is applied in the same way as the first layer.

The second layer is also applied to the base with an emphasis on the center of the nail and the free edge. Acrylic powder is sprinkled on it (something similar to a technique) and dried in a lamp. Then we shake off the remains of the powder with a stiff brush, if it turned out a little uneven, you can grind the layer of powder with a file. Next, another layer of gel polish base is applied.

This method not only flattens the nail plate, but also makes the coating incredibly puffy. But here the question may arise with its removal in connection with the use of acrylic powder. In fact, there is nothing difficult about it. First, there are remedies that are great for and at the same time. And secondly, no one bothers to use the same mechanical method using a file or milling cutter, as when removing a design with velvet sand.

After any of these alignment methods, a colored coating is applied and, if desired, design is done.

How to check that the coating is perfectly flat?

1. Look at the nail from the side and from the end: a clear bend of the correct shape of the nail in its central part should be visible on it.
2. Check the coverage under the light of the lamp: you should see a clear and even glare without any refractions, curvatures or bends. It is precisely such glare that can be very often seen in photographs of finished works.

Despite the fact that biogel is incredibly plastic and easy to use, after being applied to the nail and hardening, it becomes incredibly hard and strong, which allows you to build up a nail of any length without any problems and not be afraid that it will break or begin to crumble. This product is suitable even for people with allergies, as it does not contain any toxic harmful substances.

To properly cover the nail plate with biogel, you must first degrease the nail and grind it. Then you need to use a primer. After that, using any convenient brush, the gel itself is applied, be sure to evenly and accurately.

Then you need to use an ultraviolet lamp to adhere the target to the nail. Due to the protein content, a film is created that does not penetrate into the microcracks of the nail and does not injure it in the future. This operation should be repeated 2-3 times with each new layer of biogel.
