Step-by-step description with a diagram

So, we start making a cute crochet basket, a detailed diagram and description will be given below. In our case, we will use tape yarn in 2 colors.

Knitting of round products by crocheting craftswomen usually start with the Amigurumi ring. To understand how to make it, take a look at the picture below.

The yarn should be as thick as possible - this way the finished product will keep its shape!

  • 1 row: make an amigurumi ring - for this you need to wrap the thread around two fingers, then insert the hook under the first thread and form a loop from the second thread.

Tie in this way 8 tbsp. without n.

When the first row is completed, close the connection ring. Art., pull the free end of the thread and slightly tighten the loop.

  • 2nd row: we tie a ring in a circle, knitting 2 tbsp in each loop. without n. and starting a number of air. n. lifting. Finish a series of connections. Art. As a result, we get 16 tbsp. without n.
  • 3 row: we make increments in every second loop, that is, in the first loop we knit 1 tbsp. without n., in the second - 2 tbsp. without n. etc. At the beginning of the row, do not forget 1 air. item for lifting, and we finish connecting. Art. It turns out 24 loops.

  • 4th row: air. n. lifting, then we make increases only in every third loop - 1 tbsp. without n., 1 tbsp. without n., 2 tbsp. without n. We close the row of connections. Art. As a result, we have 32 loops.
  • 5 row: in the 5th row, evenly add 8 tbsp. without n. As usual, start a series of air. n., and finish connecting. Art. We get 40 loops.
  • 6 row: add evenly 8 tbsp in a circle. without n. A total of 48 loops.

  • 7 row: from this row we begin to knit the wall of our basket. To obtain a more embossed row of Art. without n. we knit only under one loop of the previous one. We do not make any increments. We begin a number of air. etc., and we finish connecting. Art.

  • 8 row: knit st. without n. around the circumference under both loops of the pigtails in each loop. You don't need to add anything.
  • 9 row: we knit in the same way as the previous one.
  • 10 row: in this row we use yarn of a different color. In our case, it is white. Knit around the circumference of Art. without n. and end as usual conn. Art. We do not make any increments.
  • 11 row: we knit it with white threads. In total, we have knitted 2 rows with white yarn.

  • 12 row: from this row we knit the handles of our basket. The sequence is as follows - we knit 2 air. p., 10 art. with n., 5 air. etc., skip 7 loops, 17 st. with n., 5 air. etc., skip 7 loops and tie st. with n. to the end of the row, ending the connection. Art.

  • 13 row: 2 air. n. lifting, we tie in a circle st. with n. A chain of 5 air. p. we tie 7 tbsp. with n. As a result of painstaking work, we have got such a pretty little thing.

At the end of the work, sew up all loose ends of the yarn.

Such a basket can be knitted either in plain color or with various colored inserts, making the product more colorful and bright - it all depends on your imagination.

The basket can be made larger or smaller both in diameter and in height. In our today's lesson, the simplest crochet basket was presented, the diagram and description are very detailed and understandable.

The finished product can be decorated with various ribbon bows, sewn on buttons or beads, glue rhinestones, and more. etc. Such a basket will be a very beautiful handmade gift.

Crochet basket with check marks, knitted from knitted yarn

Previously, we figured it out in different ways. It's time to put knowledge into practice. Surely on various Internet resources devoted to crocheting, you have seen baskets of knitted yarn. Most of them are tied with a checkmark pattern. Knitting from knitted yarn is a specific process, therefore the requirements for the pattern are special: simplicity and average density. "Check marks" just meet these requirements.

Checkmark pattern scheme

In general, the "Checkmarks" pattern is presented in two versions - with the arrangement of the checkmarks one above the other and with the arrangement of the checkmarks in a checkerboard pattern. For knitting baskets, the first option is used, since it provides sufficient density, makes it possible to conveniently carry out increases and knit in a circle. You can familiarize yourself with the second option for knitting this pattern in a special article - a link to it at the very beginning of this material.

Scheme

Below is a pattern for knitting a circle with a checkmark pattern, which we have already considered in previous articles. It is universal because it allows you to knit a circle of any size - the increments in all rows are carried out according to the same principle.

According to this scheme, it fits bottom of a basket made of knitted yarn... Further, the increments stop, and knitting continues according to the general scheme presented above (check mark above the check mark, no increments). Sometimes the pattern changes, but care should be taken to ensure that the new pattern has the same density. Otherwise, the walls of the basket will either expand or contract, which will cause the shape to be lost.

Video tutorial

A textual description of even the most elementary pattern is always bad when it comes to needlework. Therefore, it is better to watch a master class (video tutorial) on knitting a round basket of knitted yarn with a checkmark pattern. In addition to the general principles of knitting, the video discusses the nuances of the transition from the bottom to the walls, types of seamless connections and the method of closing the last loop. There is a lot to learn!

Scheme

For knitting a square basket, the Check mark pattern is no longer enough. The bottom is made according to the square scheme presented below, and the transition to the main pattern is carried out already when knitting the walls.

Knitting starts from the amigurumi ring. The first row is highlighted in red - 8 sc, knitted in a ring.

Having knitted the bottom of the basket in a square pattern, you can proceed to knitting the walls. They are already knitted according to the main checkmark pattern, the scheme of which is presented at the beginning of this article.

Video tutorial

To avoid mistakes in knitting the walls, watch a master class on knitting a square basket from one of the needlewomen. In the video tutorial, all the nuances are sorted out - so you definitely can't go wrong.

The creation of order in the house is impossible without the distribution of various little things in certain places. For this, decorative baskets are perfect, which carry not only a functional load, but also give the room a cozy atmosphere. If the needlewoman is “friendly” with the crochet, then knitting such a basket will not take much time. The craft is being performed - crocheted, the scheme and description of work on which are presented below are quite simple, and the final product looks quite presentable.

The basket can be knitted in different ways. All of them are suitable for beginner craftswomen. Bulky capacity requires high knitting density and strong yarn. In this case, a needlework rope, which is crocheted, will help to replace the yarn. How to do this, the corresponding master class will tell you.

Ingenious and simple

The basket is designed for storing large items, from handicraft items in the form of balls of yarn and scraps of fabric to soft toys.

For work you will need:

  • needlework rope;
  • large hook;
  • cotton yarn.

To make the product look textured, it is advisable to take yarn, the color of which contrasts with the color of the rope.

Knitting begins at the base of the product. The chain is crocheted from the selected yarn. The number of loops depends on what size the future basket is supposed to be.

The next step will be tying a needlework cord. To do this, step back a little from the beginning of the rope and connect the knitted chain with a cord.

Pull out the last loop of the chain, wrap the rope with a thread along the upper side. Through the previous loop of the chain, hook the thread from the bottom of the cord so that the rope is inside the knitting.

The hook should have two loops, which are then connected into one. The thread runs along the top of the cord. The hook, through the adjacent loop of the chain, again picks up the thread from below and pulls it out.

Knitting of the two formed loops is done. In a similar way, the rope is tied along the entire length of the initial chain.

The thread already clings to the loops with which the cord was previously tied, connecting the parts of the rope to each other. The work is carried out to the edge of the previous tying of the rope, after which the next turn of the cord in a spiral is performed.

This is how the bottom of the basket is formed from the rope for needlework. When the bottom has reached the desired size, the work goes to the walls of the basket. In this case, it is carried out in the same way as the bottom.

You just need to position the cord perpendicular to the bottom. You can do this with your own hands by twisting the rope inside the knitting so that the outer "side" of the loops passes from one plane to another.

In order to make the handles, it is enough to stop clinging to the loops of the previous row of strapping in the area selected for the handles.

At the same time, in order to create space for gripping, it is necessary to make an allowance on the rope, and then resume knitting of the basket itself.

A similar trick should be performed on the opposite side.

To create a softer version of the basket, you can use knitted yarn. The product from knitted yarn is made with continuous knitted crochet stitches. This type of basket is round.

In order to round off the walls, you will need a smooth contraction of the hinges during operation.

A basket is made in the same way using a twine thread.

To make the twine look neat in the product, you can process the finished knitting with PVA glue. The twine basket perfectly decorates the room. And to avoid the boring look of the finished product, it is enough to complement it with a contrasting border and an unusual handle. This design will allow you to use such a basket as a decorative container for Easter eggs or Christmas tree decorations.

In knitting original baskets, any kind of material twisted into a thread is applicable.

An extraordinary solution would be to make the product using plastic bags. It is best to take garbage bags, since they have a fairly long canvas and are made from a fairly dense material.

To tie a basket of trash bags, cut the matching bags into thin strips and roll them into a single ball. Next, the standard crochet techniques are carried out.

The finished product looks interesting if you use colored polyethylene.

At the same time, dense knitting allows you to create a completely durable basket for all sorts of household trifles.

If desired, such a basket can be equipped with a lid to match the main product.

Today we will figure out how to knit a basket from polyester cord... A basket in the house is a very useful thing! You can store anything you want in it, for example, all sorts of necessary little things, or slippers, or cats (yes, cats love to sleep in baskets!). I decided to knit a basket for storing hats on the top shelf in the hallway. There - on this shelf - a lot of objects are always collected: scarves, kerchiefs, hats, etc., etc. All this, as a rule, lies in an ugly large pile. And I thought I needed to put things in order there. And this can be done by collecting all these items in one large basket.

So, in the video tutorial, I will knit a rather large basket, so that it is enough for all the hats and scarves. You can knit a basket of any size you need: either smaller or larger. How so? That's how! The size of the basket depends on the size of its base (bottom). We will have an oval base. In the lesson we will learn knit ovals of ANY size! You will learn how to correctly add loops on the round sides of an oval and you can independently knit an oval of any size you need. The sides of the basket are knitted without adding loops.

The basket lid is knitted in the same way as the base, i.e. first we knit an oval of the same size as the bottom of the basket, and then small sides down.

As a small decoration for the basket, we will use color trims, i.e. rows, knitted from a cord of a different color.

For a basket of my size (25x25x45), it took me about 400 m polyester cord, i.e. 2 skeins. I knitted the colored rows from the remnants of the cord.
