How to make Christmas trees from threads. How to make Christmas trees with your own hands from threads. Thread printing: do-it-yourself paintings from threads for the New Year

They began to populate the cold lands and put on skins. They were fixed with tendons. They had an exclusively practical purpose.

In the 21st century, both threads and their field of application have changed. The material is increasingly used as a decoration. In order not to be unfounded, we will tell you how to make a Christmas tree from threads... Such a tree will decorate the winter and bring the atmosphere of a fairy tale into it.

How to make a Christmas tree from threads with your own hands?

Any thread will do. However, it must be taken into account that more fine yarn will be spent, and it will take longer to wind it on the base. Therefore, most craftsmen stock up on coarse threads such as twine, or knitting skeins.

Among the latter, there is the so-called herb. These are loose threads. If you take them for a Christmas tree, you get an imitation of needles. The difficulty lies in the fact that the threads are held together with glue. The grass is dumping in it.

Therefore, you have to make a base of smooth yarn and wind the fluffed one around it. There is another way out of the situation - to tie a grass cone and pull it over a cardboard cylinder. You get something like this:

Now more about how to make a Christmas tree from threads and glue... The basis is still the same - a cone made of thick or cardboard. An important detail is polyethylene. It will prevent the yarn from grabbing onto the pulp.

As a result, the threads frozen in the glue will easily separate from the cone. Some people wrap grocery bags around him. But, it is more convenient to work with cling film. It fits snugly to the base without requiring additional fixation with tape. So, it's time for the tutorial video:

Everyone decides for himself to arrange the threads as a dense "wall", or a free spiral. The last technique is more stylized. Only a hint of a Christmas tree remains.

By the way, about the balls. The threads do not need to be wound around the warp. "How to make a Christmas tree from threads" - video demonstrating another use case for yarn.

Take small skeins and "sit down" with a glue gun on a cylindrical base. The tree turns out to be playful, voluminous and embossed. Instead of skeins of yarn, some use yarn pom-poms. It is more economical.

The use of dense skeins eliminates the possibility of highlighting the tree. In the case of filament winding, the spruce is capable of burning, serving as a lamp. It is enough to place the cone over the light bulb and connect it to the mains.

Not only the trees themselves are made of threads, but also for them. The technology is the same, but the nuances are different. A cone-shaped base, for example, is not suitable for everyone. In the next chapter, we will tell you how to make balls, stars and other attributes of the New Year.

How to make a toy for a Christmas tree from threads?

Let's figure it out first how to make a ball on a Christmas tree from threads... Polyethylene is not needed for its manufacture, because we will glue the yarn on an already slippery surface. It will serve as a balloon.

To prevent the toy from coming out too large, it is worth taking a small sample and inflating it well. The author of the next master class offers a trick that will come in handy when forming a Christmas tree from threads.

The yarn is pulled through holes in a plastic cup filled with PVA. This speeds up the work, makes the product more neat. In addition, the hands of the master hardly get dirty.

The balls, like trees, light up. Crafts can make an ordinary garland of light bulbs unique. You just need to put on a filament sphere on each lamp.

Balls are also used as standard, tying by a ribbon to the branches. Toys also decorate the interior, being hung from chandeliers, photographs, and placed on the fireplace.

Many people add stars to balls of threads. They are based on foam blanks, or wire. The author of the following video will tell you how to fold it into a five-pointed star and design it effectively.

Figures of firs, birds, snowmen are also made on a wire basis. The latter, by the way, are also excellent from balls. True, such snowmen are more suitable for standing near a Christmas tree, rather than hanging on it. Cardboard bagels are also used as a thread support.

It turns out all the same bagels, or donuts. Gourmet toys make the tree more attractive, recalling the goodies that accompany the winter holidays.

But you need to work hard to whet your appetite. Creativity is one of the few activities available on the long New Year's Eve weekend.

What do we need

No drawings for making a Christmas tree from thread and glue with your own hands are not required. We will use any cardboard that is at hand. It is better to take thick cardboard left over from the boxes, then the product will be more impressive in thickness. You also need scissors, PVA glue, thick threads. Iris, woolen thread, any crochet yarn will do. The only thing left is to choose the decor. Different-sized beads and lace are good for decoration.

The process of making a flat Christmas tree

If the skills in drawing are very, very sad, then schemes or patterns for a Christmas tree are offered, which will be made of threads and glue with their own hands.

Now we wrap the tree trunk with threads several times, tie a knot. We grease the cardboard with glue and start wrapping the thread around the workpiece. We are not stingy - the cardboard should not show through the threads. If you take two threads of different colors at once, you get completely unusual products. When the entire workpiece is properly wrapped, the thread is tucked in and secured with glue.

The decor is glued to hot glue or, if possible, sewn directly to the strings.

Here's everything you need:

Let's get to work and see a step-by-step photo of creating a Christmas tree from threads and glue with our own hands.

IllustrationDescription of action
We will prepare everything at once so as not to be distracted and not to run around the house looking for the right thing.
We twist a bag from a sheet of paper.
We straighten it, glue the junction with tape, cut off the excess.
We wrap the cone with cling film, one layer is enough.
We cut a small cut on the tube of cream or paint at the bottom, pour PVA on the bottom. We stretch the thread from the ball through this slot, it will itself be lubricated with the right amount of glue.
We wrap the cone in one direction, gradually filling almost the entire space. We cut the thread and wait for about three hours when our beauty is completely dry. In a warm place, it will dry out faster, but you should not put it close to heating places in order to avoid deformation.
Gently crease the paper and take out the cone. Since we originally wrapped it in cling film, this should be easy to do.

Now we start dyeing the craft, if the desired thread color was not found. This will help paint in a spray can.

Ideas for decorating a Christmas tree made of thread and glue

Just a cone made of threads will not look stunning, so we don’t skimp on jewelry!

Trees are natural, plastic, even candy. And our tree is made of threads. We offer step-by-step instructions for making a stylish New Year's decor.

  • 1 of 1

On the picture:

Beautiful elegant herringbone- undoubtedly the most associative and festive symbol of the New Year and Christmas. Someone prefers the smell of fresh needles, and therefore buys a live fluffy beauty for the holiday. Someone spares nature and puts a beautiful artificial Christmas tree in the room and enjoys the smell of tangerines. And we will tell you how to make a rather popular decor in the form of a stylish Christmas tree from the most ordinary threads! Such decorations can be used to decorate a festive table, or even replace the usual New Year's tree altogether. The manufacturing process is very simple.

So, we need:

  • dense threads of any color (threads "Iris" or thicker, at your discretion, are well suited)
  • PVA glue or transparent clerical (transparent glue is better for colored threads, since it does not leave white marks)
  • thick needle
  • scissors
  • paper or flexible cardboard
  • foil (preferred, but not required).

Roll a cone out of paper or flexible cardboard that can stand flat on the surface, and glue it along the seam so that it does not turn around - this is our layout for shaping the herringbone. In other words, the height and diameter of your future jewelry will depend on the size of the cone. Since we will be putting threads on the cone, cover it with foil for convenience - this will make it easy to separate the thread frame of the Christmas tree from the layout when the glue dries.

Make the thread wet and sticky can be done in two ways - choose the one that seems more convenient to you. You can pierce a bottle of glue with a needle and thread through and, pulling the thread through the glue, immediately wind it in random order on the cone. The second option is to simply pour the glue into a convenient container and lower the threads there, and then start wrapping around the cone. The first method seemed to us more accurate and economical, since the excess threads, which may be useful to you later, will remain clean and dry.

Continue winding the threads on the cone. until the winding density seems to you sufficient. Then cut the thread, tuck it gently into the winding and let it dry thoroughly.

You can use threads of different colors for the same tree. Classic red, green and white colors look very nice and traditional. But in principle, you can choose any thread that matches the color of your interior.

When the thread winding is completely dry, carefully remove it from the cone and randomly decorate with LED garland, beads, sequins or miniature Christmas tree decorations, placing them on strong glue. Such a Christmas tree can also be used as a lampshade for a small LED lamp - such a decor will certainly create a magical atmosphere in the house.

Involve children and children in making Christmas trees- it will not be difficult for them, and a good festive mood will be guaranteed!

Helpful hints are underlined.

Step-by-step process of work:
1.To make a Christmas tree, you need to roll a sheet of cardboard with a cone. The size of your Christmas tree will depend on the size of the cone. Let's fix it with tape (help is needed here). This must be done in order for the cone to keep its shape.

2. Now carefully cut the lower part of the cone in a circle so that our future Christmas tree stands steadily.

3. At the bottom of the cone you need to make cuts every one and a half to two centimeters. This is necessary so that you can then pull the thread in different directions.

4. Wrap the resulting cone with cling film. If this is not done, then after completion of the work it will be quite difficult to remove it.

5.Now we will thread the cotton thread into a large needle and pierce the tube of glue through and through. It is better to take PVA glue in a plastic tube - this is a very convenient way to pierce and wrap a cone with threads. And yet, after drying, it becomes transparent, which does not affect the color of the threads, and besides, it is very strong and holds the structure better. And it is better to use cotton threads, as they absorb glue well. The color of the threads can be any, not only traditionally green. Thus, the thread will pass through the glue and soak in it, and we will put the needle in the box.

6. Then in one hand we take our tube, and with the other hand we hold the cone - this is a very convenient way, and we begin to wrap our structure, impregnated with thread, crosswise, leaving gaps between the threads, and be sure to pull the thread through the cuts in different directions so that the thread does not slide off the cone. The amount of thread to be wound depends only on you, if you want the Christmas tree to shine through, then make a thin layer of thread, and if on the contrary - thick.

7. After completing this procedure, cut off the thread and spread PVA glue with a wide brush over the entire surface of the cone to better hold the structure.

8. After that, we leave our cone in a warm place until it dries completely, for about a day. The structure should dry out very well, become strong and solid. And the holes in the tube with glue, we will wrap with tape for its further use.

9. After the threads are completely dry, first carefully cut the base of the cone with cuts through which we pulled the threads, and then remove them from the slots of the base.

10. Now you can start separating the cardboard cone from the cling film. This must be done carefully, without haste, so as not to damage the structure of our Christmas tree.

11. Then carefully remove the cling film from the threads.

12. Wrap the bottom of the Christmas tree with corrugated paper from a thin strip or a gift ribbon, attaching it with a stapler.

13. Finally, the most pleasant and joyful moment has come - decorating the Christmas tree. For this we need sequins, beads, sequins, stars, beads, everything that glitters so that our Christmas tree is elegant and beautiful. We will glue them with super glue in random order. You can wrap it in rain, glue a star or snowflake on the top. Your imagination will tell you.

14. So our Christmas tree made of threads is ready! Such a wonderful product will decorate your home and give you and your loved ones a unique New Year mood. Happy New Year to you!

We wish you creative success! Family happiness and prosperity!

1. Christmas tree made of threads - method number 1

The technology is similar to the long-known method of making fishnet balloons by winding threads with PVA glue on balloons.
We turn a cone from a sheet of Whatman paper. Either the sheet itself before this or the already finished cone is completely pasted over with tape (it is easier to paste over the sheet). This is necessary so that later it would be easy to remove the tree from the base.
At the bottom of the cone we make cuts at intervals of about 1.5-2 cm. This is done so that the thread can be pulled through them. When a ball is wrapped with threads, it is like winding a ball of thread. And here you need a little more manual dexterity to stretch the thread in different directions.
We dilute PVA glue in a bowl with water until the consistency of milk. Now the main thing begins - we create the tree itself, stretching the thread through the diluted glue and wrapping the cone with it. The work is wet and sticky, so it is worth taking care of work clothes and newspapers for the table.
Even though diluted PVA appears to be too runny, when it dries, the threads will get the required stiffness. For work, ordinary thick threads are best suited, but the remains of floss and wool are also suitable. You can experiment with different colors, thicknesses and textures of threads.

When the creation of your hands dries up, the cherished moment comes - you need to carefully separate the paper cone from the "Christmas tree" itself. To do this, we cut off the edge of the cone with cuts through which the threads were pulled. Then we carefully turn the paper cone inside - it should come off easily if you pasted it over well with tape and there is no “bare” paper anywhere.
We process the bottom of the tree with a ribbon for gifts. This can be done by sewing on the tape with a needle and thread, or you can simplify the procedure and do it with a stapler.
We put a garland inside the tree. Such a garland, as in the photo, is easily held inside the cone due to the plastic stars and flowers. A garland of simple bulbs can be secured with small Christmas tree decorations and bells that have wire antennae, or you can use regular paper clips.
One, two, three - burn the Christmas tree! The lights passing through the thread frame will give whimsical reflections on the table and walls, creating a romantic holiday atmosphere

2. Christmas tree made of mesh - method number 2
You will need the same cone as for method # 1. If you decide to create several of these trees, then you can make them in different sizes - this will look more interesting.
Instead of threads, we use a flower net purchased from a florist store. A mesh of two or three shades and different thicknesses is well combined.
At first glance, this method seems less time consuming than wrapping a cone with threads, but in fact it requires more skill and patience. The mesh should be cut into small pieces, for a start it can be fixed on the cone with tape or pins. Sections of the mesh can be dipped in a bowl with diluted PVA or glue can be applied with a brush. Better to combine these two methods.

We alternate the mesh of two colors, placing it in different directions along the cone. Usually the mesh is stiff enough that we use pins to secure it to the form. Let each layer dry before gluing a new one.
When everything is completely dry, remove the tree from the base.
We place the garland inside, securing it with small bells with antennae.
Decorate with toys and beads.

3. Method number 3, the laziest.
We use the same paper cone.
We take a soft net for bouquets. Green with gold thread is used here, but your tree can be any color you want (it's your tree!).
We wrap the mesh around the cone, and on the outside we fix it with a decorative cord.
We hang balls, bells or, as in the photo, hearts on the tree.
We put our creation on the New Year's table - to the delight of ourselves and our guests!

Or we wrap the same paper (better, of course, cardboard) cone with thread or rope, do not forget to glue it !!! ....... and decorate!

4. Shaggy Christmas tree):

To create such a Christmas tree you will need:
- paper cone
- gypsum
- PVA glue
- water
- threads of the "Grass" type
- acrylic paint
- cling film

Make a cone out of whatman paper (a visual process for creating a paper cone). Then wrap it in plastic wrap.

Then start mixing the glue mixture. Pour PVA glue into the plaster (about one glass). Pour some water into the plaster. Mix well.

Dip the threads into the finished mixture and let them soak.
Then wind the thread around the cone. When you've wound enough, cut the thread and hide the end inside. And put the pile on the threads on end. Fix the weed.

If you want to create not a white, but a colored herringbone, then you will need threads and acrylic paint of the same colors. Add paint to the mixture, stir and dip the colored thread into it. Then wind it around the cone.

Leave the threads of the Christmas trees to dry completely and harden. Then carefully remove the inner base of the cone.

The Christmas tree made of threads is ready!

Then it remains only to decorate it at your discretion, for example, with beads or a garland of beads. What use hot silicone for.
