A branch of mountain ash from the mass for modeling and foamiran. Master Class

Kolesnikova Tatyana Sergeevna, teacher of labor training, GKOU RO boarding school V type, Zernograd.
Purpose: a sprig of rowan can be used as a gift.
Age: the master class is intended for high school students, parents, teachers of additional education.
Tasks:
- To acquaint students with new material - foamiran, ways of processing it.
- Develop children's creativity, fine motor skills, imagination, accuracy.
- To cultivate an aesthetic taste.

According to the folk calendar, in the autumn of Peter and Paul, Indian summer ends and real autumn comes.
And on this day, the mountain ash has a name day. In the old days, she was affectionately called Ryabika and was planted at the porch so that she could take care of her house from "dashing people and bad news." And although mountain ash is a short fragile tree, it is not afraid of drought or frost and lives and bears fruit for about 100 years.
So, if you see a mountain ash - pluck the brush and hang it in the house for good luck.
And how delicious this scarlet berry is!

Rowan is a genus of deciduous frost-resistant shrubs and trees of the Rosaceae family. The botanical name for mountain ash is Sorbus aucuparia, the generic name comes from the Celtic word "sor", which means "tart", and the specific name - from the Latin "aucupari", which means "to catch birds." It seems that the name comes from birds feasting on the fruits of mountain ash. There are more than 100 species of mountain ash in the world (according to some estimates, almost two hundred), with about a third of the species growing in the territory of the countries of the former USSR. Rowan is widespread not only in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, but throughout Europe and Asia, as well as in North America.
Rowan legend
Once the daughter of a wealthy merchant fell in love with a simple guy, but her parents did not want to hear about the poor groom. To save the family from shame, he decided to resort to the help of a sorcerer. His daughter accidentally found out about this and the girl decided to run away from her home. On a dark and rainy night, she hurried to the river bank to the place of meeting with her beloved. At the same hour, the sorcerer left the house. But the guy noticed the sorcerer. In order to divert danger from the girl, the brave young man threw himself into the water. The sorcerer waited until he crossed the river and waved his magic staff when the young man was already getting out on the shore. Then lightning flashed, thunder struck, and the guy turned into an oak tree. All this happened in front of the girl, who was a little late to the meeting place because of the rain. And the girl also remained standing on the shore. Her slender body became the trunk of a mountain ash, and her arms - branches stretched out towards her beloved. In the spring she puts on a white outfit, and in the fall she sheds red tears into the water, grieving that “the river is wide, not to cross, the river is deep, and not to drown”. So there are two lonely trees loving each other on opposite banks. And "it is impossible for a mountain ash to get over to an oak tree, apparently, an orphan is a century old to swing." Here is such a beautiful and sad legend.
Required materials and tools:
* mass for modeling,
* foamiran lemon or yellow,
* wire,
* dry pastels in red and green,
* wet wipes,
* glue "Seconds", PVA glue,
* gouache orange, red,
* a strip of brown corrugated paper.

Progress:

1. Roll a ball out of the sculpting mass, it can be replaced with polymer clay. Cut the wire 5 cm long, fold the edge with a loop. Thread the wire through the ball.

Prepare 10-15 such berries. Leave to dry for 24 hours.

2. Paint each berry with a mixture: orange gouache + red + PVA glue. (PVA glue creates a thin protective film so as not to get your hands dirty)

Then cover each berry with acrylic glossy varnish. This varnish does not have a strong odor, gives a beautiful gloss, so even children can use it.

These are such beautiful berries. I like to do a lot at once, so to speak "just in case"

Take a berry and draw a "6-pointed snowflake"

Connect the berries to make a twig.

3. Let's start making leaves and twigs.
Take lemon or yellow foamiran. Cut 5-7 leaves out of it, make a carved leaf.

I have lemon foamiran, but it looks white in the photo ...
4. Prepare a wet wipe and dry pastels.

5.Wrap a damp cloth around your index finger, rub the pastel and start painting the leaf.

The leaves can be of the same color, or they can be two-colored.

6. Draw the veins with a felt-tip pen.

7. Take any "super glue", pour it a little on cardboard, take a wire, dip it in glue and attach it to the back of the leaf.

8. Connect the leaves to make a twig.

9. Connect a branch of berries and a branch of leaves together.

10. Wrap brown corrugated paper around the wire.

11. Tie a nice bow. The rowan sprig is ready.

I am waiting for your wishes, questions, comments.

Handicrafts from mountain ash made by hand in the fall. Simple robots and their description.

The unique atmosphere of autumn can settle in your apartment if you try to create a decor in it using natural materials. Fortunately, at this time of the year it can be found in abundance right in your yard or walking through the air in cozy forest paths. You can pick up a lot of colorful leaves rustling under your feet, pick up acorns and chestnuts, but the most colorful nuance will be the fruits of the mountain ash tree. These red berries will add juiciness to your future works.
Rowan crafts with the addition of additional elements are easy to do with your own hands. Simple to make, they will bring a pleasant comfort to your home. These can be wall panels, bouquets, combined from leaves and rowan twigs. Candlesticks and vases using colorful juicy rowan berries. You can make a beautiful decorative mountain ash tree that will brighten up your living room. To make it, you will need a flower pot, several branches of rowan with ripe fruits, pebbles to fill the pot (you can use foam for arrangement for these purposes), pebbles can be replaced with beads of different sizes or other decor at your fingertips. Leaves for a tree can be made from corn husks, corrugated paper, or you can come up with something on your own by connecting your imagination. For the trunk of the future tree, you can use a strong branch, and wire will be needed to hold the leaves and mountain ash together. The design decision on how to arrange the flowerpot itself is also yours.
At the beginning, the robots need to divide the rowan branches into smaller bunches, then, using a wire, which will need about 20 cm, we connect them to the leaves, composing a bunch of them. The joints must be hidden with a ribbon for flowers or any fabric tape. In order to make twigs from corn husks, it should be moistened with water. Thanks to this, it will become softer. Now you need to tear off the narrow darkened stripes at the edges from it. Then cut the husk itself into strips, the width of which will be about 4 cm, cutting off with a corner on one side. When the tree itself is ready, fill the pot with prepared foam or pebbles. We insert a branch there, having previously cut it off with a peg. It must reach the very bottom, which is necessary for the stability of the tree. We put the finished crown of mountain ash and leaves on the trunk and attach it with wire.

Rowan coral clusters are one of the most impressive, expressive decorations, a kind of its distinctive mark. They can be a good theme to create in kindergarten or at home.

Craft rowan for kindergarten can be made from a variety of creative materials and in a variety of techniques. We suggest trying to create your own rowan branch out of thin colored paper or napkins.

What you need to create a craft: a rowan branch (only its dried leaves, which can be prepared in summer), thin transparent colored paper, glue, a landscape sheet, a brush and paints.

If there is no pre-prepared rowan branch available, it can be replaced with another plant with a similar leaf shape.

Applique "rowan" from paper lumps

We draw a branch stalk on a landscape sheet, using a simple pencil and paints for this. The craft will look more interesting if several petioles are directed in different directions. Draw the base of the bunch of berries separately.

Using glue, we attach rowan leaves to our petiole, positioning them as they are located on a real rowan branch, that is, opposite each other, from smaller to larger, and again to decrease.

Now we need to glue the berries to our branch. But first we will make them from tissue paper.

We tear off a piece of paper and roll it into an even ball - one berry is obtained. We try to tear off pieces of the same size so that the berries do not differ from each other. We make as many berries as we need.

We glue the berries to the drawn base of the bunch. We try to arrange them as naturally as possible and press them tightly against the sheet for better fixation.

So the rowan craft was made with our own from paper and dried leaves!

From lumps of paper, you can make mountain ash on which ladybugs fly.

Rowan for applique can also be made from droplets of red paint.

Do-it-yourself rowan beads

Perhaps all of us made rowan beads in childhood.

Rowan for decorating autumn compositions

Rowan berries will perfectly complement the autumn composition for kindergarten.

Rowan can be supplemented with various people and animals from natural materials.

In the fall, it is important to make crafts from natural material. Children create figures with their own hands from chestnuts, acorns, vegetables and fruits, and by adding moss, twigs and leaves, original compositions are obtained. No less attractive crafts are obtained from rowan for children, since the products do not require much skill. Red berries will add freshness to future masterpieces.

Crafts are done quite simply. They are easy to make and add a pleasant ambience to your home. An unusual panel, volumetric applique, plant bouquets, combined from rowan branches and tree leaves, are created from viburnum.

Rowan beads

The use of rowan berries in children's art is quite a fascinating process. Having the fruits of the tree at your disposal, you can make beautiful beads.

For work, you need to prepare the following materials:

  • a needle with a strong thread;
  • rowan berries.

A child can make such beads by himself. And if you are afraid to trust him with a needle, replace it with wire. Picking berries and stringing them on a wire develops fine motor skills of the hands. This activity will interest not only girls, but also boys. They can give a gift to mom, grandmother or girl they like.

The rowan berry looks very beautiful. Adults associate it with medicinal properties, but children immediately imagine what kind of craft can be made from rowan with their own hands. If you pick a few berries, your child will happily sit down to the creative process. From rowan, you can make not only beads, but also bracelets, and even hairpins. It is enough to string the berries on a strong thread, and the original decoration is ready. For a hair clip, you should tie the pendant to the invisibility.

DIY rowan crafts in the fall

A very beautiful decorative tree is obtained from rowan berries. It will decorate the living room or children's room. It will look original in the kitchen, breathing a breath of fresh air into the room.

Prepare the following materials for work:

  • flower pot;
  • rowan sprigs with berries;
  • beads or stones for filling the pot;
  • corn husks or beads;
  • a tree branch;
  • wire.

A tree branch will serve as a trunk. The leaves can be replaced with corn husks or made from beads. Leaves and berries are fastened with a wire. Insert the blank into the pot and pour stones or beads into it.

We offer you to watch a video of rowan crafts.

.Figures of people and animals from rowan

The caterpillar is created in the same way. You need to string the fruits on the fishing line, and put the rosehip berry first in a row, since it will be the head. Stick plasticine eyes and several legs along the entire length. If desired, you can stick the tongue using a dry leaf of wood. Beads, snakes, caterpillars and similar products are made from several fruits, which makes the craft mobile. By touching it with your hands, fine motor skills develop.

In addition, berries can be used as an additional material when creating crafts from the gifts of nature: chestnuts, acorns, etc. For example, creating an animal or a person from mountain ash, from the fruits of oak and chestnut, they make parts of the face: nose, eyes, ears, neck. They are fixed with a toothpick. If you mold a hedgehog from plasticine and fix the berry instead of the nose, you get a pretty craft. One fruit (apple) can be planted on the back of a hedgehog. Often, birds are made from chestnuts, but rowan berries are used as a head. In a person who is harvested from acorns, ears and hands are also replaced with rowan fruit.

Compositional ikebana

Rowan bunches can add their own flavor to the creation of a composition of leaves and flowers. Ikebana is quite simple to perform.

To get started, prepare a large vase and put a floral sponge there, having previously wet it with water. Then insert a bunch of mountain ash and dried flowers into it, periodically adding water to the vase.

Ikebana will delight you for a long time. You can decorate the composition with ears of wheat. Our ancestors considered mountain ash a strong amulet against many illnesses and misfortunes, so they hung a rowan branch at the front door.

Application

Many children love to do applique work. Often they cut figures out of colored paper and glue them on a landscape sheet. But this kind of creativity involves more than cutting paper. The applique can be made from rowan berries. To do this, you need to draw a sketch of the future composition with a pencil and stick on the natural material. For example, decorate the bottom with leaves, and glue the figure itself with rowan berries, as shown in our picture.

It is very simple to make such a bouquet. It will become a real home decoration. In addition, it will last for several months.

Choose a beautiful vase and place a rowan branch in it, then apply acrylic paint to the leaves and berries.

Here is another rowan craft for children that can decorate your home. Prepare the following materials for work:

  • a branch of a tree with a lot of knots;
  • wire;
  • yellow wallpaper;
  • cardboard;
  • rowan berries;
  • glue;
  • gouache;
  • cotton wool.

Progress:

Step 1. Wrap the wire around the branch, leaving room for leaves and berries.

Step 2. Cut leaves from wallpaper and cardboard.

Step 3. Glue them two at a time over the wire;

Step 4. Roll small balls of cotton wool, coat them with glue and let dry;

Step 5. Paint them red and orange;

Step 6. String the berries you made alive and made by you on the wire.

Stages of work:

We sculpt a rowan brush.
Cut 10 cm long pieces of thin wire and wrap them with brown tape, make a loop at one end.

Roll 20 balls from plasticine. Put the balls on the wire.

Make cross-shaped notches on the ball with a stack.

Let the rowan berries dry. This usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. Bend the wire, with mountain ash on the ends, in half

and collect in a brush. Insert a piece of wire into the formed loop and twist.

Wrap the wire loop with floral tape.

From foamiran yellow according to the pattern

cut out the leaves.

Cut 10 pieces of thin wire into lengths: 1 pc. - 10 cm and 8 pieces of 5 cm.

Wrap small pieces of wire with yellow tape. Assemble the base for the sheet, using tape for this

This is the basis for the leaflet.

Using the titanium glue, glue the leaves onto the base.

You need to make 12 such leaves.
Tint the edge of the leaf with acrylic paint. To do this, use a password.

Draw veins on the leaves with a thin brush.

We collect the branch.
Cut 3 pieces from the thick wire: 2 pieces - 20 cm long and 1 piece -30 cm. Wrap the beginning of the wire with brown tape.
On a long piece of wire, fasten two sheets with tape,

a bunch of rowan,

and one more sheet. Also fix the leaves and berries on a short piece of wire. On the third piece, fasten four leaves in turn

First, connect two branches with a ribbon.

Then wrap another twig with tape.

Attach the remaining leaves. Tape with tape to the end of the wire.

Put the branch in a vase and straighten the leaves.

Let's take a closer look.
