DIY Christmas trees (and not only): master classes

Almost all the Christmas trees presented today are made using different materials. Some are very unusual, artsy, rich. I would even say elite. Others, on the contrary, are as simple and minimalistic as possible in their design. A la Ikea, so to speak.

DIY paper tree

The largest group today. You will see many representatives of the beautiful spruce species. Each one is not like the rest, so choose

Origami

The simplest version of a paper Christmas tree is using a square. Fold the square in half (diagonally), bend the opposite sides to the center (like in an airplane) and that's it

Tip: Use this simple trick to decorate a greeting card or fold your napkins beautifully.

Angular

First things first, fold the square of paper as shown in the photo. Then:

  1. Fold the structure so that the side corners are inside. In this case, you get a square, four times smaller than the original.
  2. Fold the right corner to the center,
  3. And the left one.
  4. Fold the right corner to the right.
  5. Fold this corner under you.
  6. Do the same with the second.

Now turn the structure over and repeat steps 2-6 only for this side. All that remains is to cut off the sharp bottom tip and make a few cuts on both sides. Then peel back each notched end and place the tree on the table)

Circles

To create this spruce, take paper and draw a circle on it, tracing it as required, as under number 1. Next, cut out a circle and cut each section to a small circle. Now wrap each of these small sections on both sides with the tips inward, glue. Work the whole circle this way.

For the spruce, you need several rows. In the photo, for example, you see a beauty of 15 layers with a cone top. The layers, by the way, are collected on a wire, piercing the centers of the parts.

Panel for kindergarten

In kindergarten, they gave the task to make a fir tree together with the child? Then this option is the easiest one. Take thick cardboard and colored paper. Cut the triangles out of the cardboard, and cut the paper into strips and overlap. Even a child can handle this. Cut off the excess. At the bottom, you can glue a skewer and stick it into a synthetic winterizer.

Tip: the resulting product can be used as a bookmark for books.

Craftsmanship using available materials

To create this semblance of fluffy coniferous creature, you will need a long metal post on a stand and a lot of waste paper. Feel free to use newspapers, old magazines, etc.

Tip: An additional decoration for the Christmas tree can be done with paint in a spray can, which can be sprayed on the leaves. This will make them stronger and more durable.

Big tree of knowledge

The next beauty will be a spruce that carries knowledge. For her, you just need to fold all available books in a pyramid. I strongly discourage hanging an electric garland, as in the photo: fires occur very often in the New Year, do not neglect it. Better to put the usual tinsel and balls on the ledges.

From tubules

Incredibly simple technology. Suitable for decorating postcards and walls. Prepare a few rolls of paper rectangles. Glue each one in the intended place. The tubes can be made gradually decreasing or with a "brush" (sometimes longer elements can be applied higher than necessary).

Glue button or sequin decorations on top.

Fluffy

For it, you will need many, many paper strips, which will need to be glued in layers to a paper cone. Put on a cute cone hat on top. An excellent craft that can be done with children

For those keen on quilling

Do you like twirling paper spirals? Then prepare several strips of paper of the same thickness. Roll 17 pieces into spirals and knot one end at each. For the trunk, just roll 4 tubes, put on a skewer. Glue all parts according to the photo. The ends of the "branches" can be decorated with cylinders of a different color, similar to Christmas tree decorations.

Vytynanka

I remember that my sister once mentioned that she liked the so-called vytynanki - one of the types of Slavic folk art in which things of amazing beauty are cut out of paper. They are often glued to glass to enhance the festive atmosphere.

And they are done like this: the desired pattern is drawn in advance on paper. In this case, a spruce folded in half. And then, with the help of a well-sharpened office knife, all unnecessary parts are cut out. For a spruce, you will need two parts folded in half, which can later be sewn in the center on a sewing machine or by hand.

Corrugated paper

Continuing the paper theme, I want to show you three simple Christmas trees. First, with blue roses, which are made of tissue paper (like corrugated paper, but much thinner). Each rose is created using a strip, twisted strongly at the center and slightly looser at the end. Thanks to the properties of paper, roses are easy to straighten and become lush.

The base is again a cone.

The next spruce is very similar to the previous one, but here the strips, using which flowers are created, are cut along the edge, due to which they are very fluffy. They are again twisted into a flower, but they do not seek to give the appearance of a rose, but simply grind as much as possible.

From muffin cups

Well, the idea is interesting. I have just a bunch of such molds, which, it seems, will never be useful to me (I would rather buy silicone ones). Cut off the bottom of each and cut from one edge. And stick on the paper cone.

By the way, you can make a flat Christmas tree from the scraps for a postcard, as in the photo in the master class.

Christmas trees made of fabric

Flower

For this beauty, you will need many flowers from the circles. For these, cut out a few circles from the fabric and burn the edges. Better to take organza, veil or something similar. Then collect each flower with a string and decorate the core.

Spruce again from a paper cone at the base

From felt

To create these fir pendants, use soft (for the base) and dense (for other elements) felt and beads. Patterns can be made directly from the photo. All that remains is to cut out the details from the felt, which then need to be sewn with a basting seam and stuffed. Well and decorate, of course

You can give such a Christmas tree to a guy - it will be very touching

Satin ribbon

Prepare beads, satin or rep ribbon (or maybe lace at all?), Threads and a needle. All that is needed is to string beads and ribbon loops alternately on the thread. The main thing is not to forget to fix it at the beginning and at the end of the product.

From balls

The essence of creating this wonderful Christmas tree is to create a huge number of balls from fabric. For each of them, cut out circles and tighten with a thread, laying a basting seam. Put some padding polyester inside and tighten. Each such ball must be glued to the base.

The base can be a foam cone, a paper cone, or sewn from fabric. You can also arrange a spruce in the form of a topiary, for this you will also need a pot with polymer clay and sprinkles to create the effect of an earthen embankment.

Here is such a charm in a nautical style came out of me:

Other materials or need for invention is cunning

Sorry, dear readers, I do not want to offend anyone in any way. It's just that this expression best describes the impossibly diverse amount of materials with which people manage to create Christmas trees :))

From beads

Quite not a simple, but interesting Christmas tree. Prepare chopped beads, a pair of beads and a thin wire for working with beads to create it. First, string the top, as in photo 1. Then make four upper legs - this will be the top.

Now prepare the branches, in each of which make several loops - smaller for the upper branches, more for the lower ones. Collect all of them into one trunk, wrapping it across with a thin wire.

From plastic bottles

I respect this master class for its respect for nature and waste recycling. Take a plastic bottle, cut off the smooth center of it, which you cut into a fringe. The lid will go to the top, the bottom can be used as a delivery. Glue all the cut elements to the central rod.

From spools of thread

My friends, if you have a certain number of wooden spools of thread, then you should know that you are the owner of a treasure with which you can make an amazing spruce. To do this, clean all the spools from the threads and glue the lowest row on a round dense base. Then glue row by row on the ones already below. Simple and stylish

From sweets

The base will again be a paper cone. Attach a row of ordinary tinsel to it, then a row of candies, then tinsel again, etc. The most delicious candy can be glued to the top (as a star). One minus - nothing will be left of the tree quickly

From the bark

Strict Nordic trees. Which you can do if you have a paper cone and a little (okay, a little more than a little) bark on hand. Pieces need to be glued in rows so that the tree looks like a spruce.

Only please - do not spoil the living trees for this. Better to look for something already dumped by a thunderstorm. By the way, the small-chunk method works with CDs as well.

From sticks

We continue the theme of nature. This time we are decorating the holiday boxes. Use chopsticks to lay out a semblance of a tree, which, in turn, decorate with threads, buttons and other decorative details.

From clothespins

This should definitely be cooked up for the New Year))) I have a dozen or two clothespins with hearts, it will be cool) In general, all you need is to build a rod with a stand. For example, a lid with a spoke. And on the knitting needle already put on "branches" In the edges you can insert chupa-chups.

Bohemian

And we will make this spruce with feathers. The principle is the simplest - glue the feathers in rows from the bottom. By the way, feathers can be purchased in woven fabrics. But what they used to paint it green - I don't know. Maybe someone will tell me?

Wire

Build the frame like this: wrap three circles of wire around something round (cans, buckets, etc.), so that each next circle is smaller (or larger) than the previous one. Then take three pieces and use a thin wire to tie them together at the top and in one place on each circle.

All this can be wrapped in a beautiful garland. If you trick, you can even hang a few Christmas tree decorations.

Mesh (and sisal)

Such a tree can be built in a few minutes. To do this, take a mesh or sisal sheet (read what it is). Place on paper cone and wrap in several layers. Secure the top with a cord, wrapping it in a spiral around the spruce. Decorate with Christmas tree decorations.

And now is the time for the most minimalistic Christmas trees, which will decorate the house and will not take up much space.

From ... Christmas balls

Here's a pun - a tree made of Christmas balls. Nevertheless, it looks great. For some reason, I immediately imagined such a structure at some cool corporate party of a large company - it looks very high-status.

To do this is not at all difficult: take a few dozen green (or whatever you want) balls and tie a thin thread or fishing line to each. The most difficult thing is to measure the length correctly. Do this: Determine for yourself the required number of balls for each row and, starting from this, estimate the length of the thread. The higher the ball, the shorter the thread.

Symbol

This is what the following two conifers can be called. The first is located on the wall and is composed of pieces of tinsel imitating spruce branches. You can attach it to double-sided tape so that the ends do not stick out.

The second is simply skillfully assembled with the help of many paintings, badges, souvenirs, etc., which were collected in the likeness of spruce. Notice how some of the elements seem to imitate toys that are located on a tree. An interesting idea, by the way, for an original gift for February 14 - winter will still be in force, so the tree will be quite appropriate.

Well, dear readers, it's time for me to say goodbye to you. The spruce hit parade is over, share your impressions: what inspired, what will you take note of, etc. Be sure to tell your friends in social. networks using the buttons below. Bye!

Best regards, Anastasia Skoreeva

Marina Suzdaleva

The pre-New Year's time of miracles is coming, when you want to believe a fairy tale and give a little magic to yourself, your children and the whole family. Traditionally, at this time, parents and children make crafts, prepare gifts and cards for their relatives, hold them, and the Hobby Moms Club holds them.

On the eve of New 2016, we announced a competition DIY Christmas tree crafts with children... And today we are glad to present to your attention forest beauties made in different techniques by children and their parents.

1. Kanzashi-style Christmas tree

My name is Natalia, and my daughter Stefania, she is 6 years old and 1 month old. We are from Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan).
For the competition, we made a Christmas tree from satin ribbons in the kanzashi (tsumami) style. We have a 50/50 joint work with our daughter. The first half - I did the folding of the petals, because there is work with fire.

Stephanie cut out a shape for a Christmas tree from felt, glued the finished petals (except for the first top row) and decorated the Christmas tree with beads (I only dripped hot glue).

2. Herringbone made from pasta, pumpkin seeds and green tea

Irina Ryabtseva and Pasha (2 years 11 months), from Vladivostok, made a Christmas tree from unusual materials for creativity.

To make a base - a cone, we need:

  • green cardboard (A4);
  • green tea (dry);
  • PVA glue.

Christmas tree decorations:

  • pasta - "bows";
  • acrylic paints;
  • pumpkin seeds;
  • glitter pencil gel;
  • sequins;
  • textile bow on top of the head;
  • cotton wool;
  • hot melt glue.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We make a cone out of cardboard, grease it with glue, glue the tea leaves (our green tea was flavored, so the Christmas tree turned out to be “fragrant”);
  2. We paint pasta with acrylic paint;
  3. Cover the seeds with sparkles and glue sequins on them;
  4. Using hot glue, we glue the decorations on the Christmas tree;
  5. We glue the Christmas tree on a cardboard circle, decorate the bottom of the Christmas tree with cotton wool “snow”. Add small cotton "fluffs" to the Christmas tree;
  6. We fix a textile bow on the top of the Christmas tree.

3. Plasticine Christmas tree

My name is Ekaterina Golova, and my daughter is Varvara. We are from Moscow.

The craft was made by my daughter, who is now 3 years and 1 month old. To make a Christmas tree, we need green plasticine, if it is not enough, you can mix blue and yellow.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We roll out the plasticine in the shape of a cone and divide it into parts;
  2. Roll out balls of different sizes from each part. We form cakes from balls, starting with the largest and ending with the smallest. We sculpt "hats" from the cakes, like a mushroom. Using a children's fork or knife, we imitate needles and assemble a Christmas tree;
  3. We make a small stand out of brown plasticine and put the tree on the stand;
  4. We decorate the tree: we sculpt colorful balls and snow from white plasticine in the form of a small ribbon and fix everything on the tree.

4. Bulky paper tree

The second craft for the competition was made by my son Yegor, who is 5 years old (mother is Ekaterina Golova).

Manufacturing process:

  • cut out the outlines of the same four trees;
  • fold them in half;
  • We smear one side with glue and glue it to the half of the other Christmas tree;
  • in the same way we connect all four parts.

It turns out a voluminous tree, which we decorate with circles of colored paper, sticking them on the craft.

5. Do-it-yourself snow-covered Christmas tree

My name is Irina Bredis, Roma's son (6 years and 5 months). We are from the Moscow region, Shchelkovo.

The Christmas tree was made for a craft contest in the kindergarten, the idea came in 1 evening and was greeted by my son with a bang! He enthusiastically joined the work and completed almost all of it. Usually I try to choose such crafts that the child can make himself.

The craft was done as follows:

  • bought a cone-shaped foam base;
  • many snowflakes were cut out of colored foil paper with a curly hole punch;
  • first glued green snowflakes on a glue stick;
  • secured colored snowflakes with multi-colored safety pins;
  • a star-shaped button was fixed on the crown of the head.

That's all, the snow-covered Christmas tree is ready!

6. Craft "Christmas tree" from a cone

I am Dasha Martynova, my daughter's name is Tasya, she is almost 3 years old. This year, we decided to complete the tasks of Santa Claus every day, which the snowman brings to us. One of the tasks was to make a Christmas tree from a pine cone.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We make a base from a lid and plasticine;
  2. We paint a big cone, pour it with PVA glue and sprinkle it with confetti in the form of stars and artificial snow on top;
  3. Instead of a tip - a snowflake from a Christmas tree beads.

Tasya did everything herself with my prompts.

7. Craft "Christmas tree" made of cardboard and crepe paper

Hello! My name is Tatiana Globa and I work as a teacher with children 3-4 years old, I do arts and crafts with them. We made a craft for your Christmas tree contest.

For manufacturing we need:

  • cardboard;
  • crepe paper;
  • glue.

Manufacturing process:

  • cut out a circle from cardboard and divide it in half;
  • turn a cone out of one half - this is the base of the Christmas tree;
  • we make a lot of lumps from crepe paper and glue them in a circle.

And we also made a Christmas tree from cones and decorated it with lumps of plasticine (but this is an addition, without a master class).
Author of the work: Grishutin Sergey, 4 years old. Krasnodar Territory, Korenovsk.

My name is Tatiana Stepankina, Moscow, and my daughter Varvara (4 years old) and I decided to participate in the competition.

We knead pancakes from green plasticine and string them on a toothpick, each time we take less and less plasticine. When all the tiers are ready, we decorate with beads, insert a bead in the form of a cone on top.

9. Elegant satin tree

When I received a letter with an assignment, I invited the family to participate. My son enthusiastically supported the idea, and, to my surprise, my husband also expressed a desire to take part in the process! Therefore, we did not postpone and immediately got down to business.

For the base, they found thick cardboard, wrapped it in a cone and glued it with a glue gun. Needless to say, the men did not trust me with this unit? The weapon is a truly masculine trophy, albeit a glue one.

Then I found a large satin patch (about a meter) from which 5 × 5 squares were cut. While they were measuring, they consolidated the knowledge of numbers up to 5 on the ruler. Next, we folded each square diagonally - we got a triangle. And twice more in half.

Attention, the most dangerous stage! With a lighter, you need to lightly scorch the edges so that they do not fall off.

Now the most interesting stage - we take a gun, apply a glue circle along the bottom of the cone and put our prepared needles on the glue, with beautiful noses outward. At first, we tried to glue and attach each needle separately, but it was experimentally proved that it would be much easier to make 1 glue circle, and then sculpt it on it.

When the work on the tree planting was completed, it was time to collect the stones - to find all the orphanages that did not know their purpose until now. Grandma's torn beads, beautiful buttons, a piece of New Year's beads (cut by the piece), sequins from an old sweater were used.

Having combined the colors, mom chose the right ones, and dad and Savushka assigned each “toy” their place (also with the help of a pistol). We also put red "garland threads" on our Christmas tree (FixPrice, 47 rubles). The top was decorated with a red ribbon folded like a flower and tied in the center with a thread, which was covered with a bead.

Here is such a wonderful Christmas tree now living with us! The son offered to bake cookies and hang a Christmas tree on "him and dad" ... But that's a completely different story.

Characters:

  1. little son Savva (2 g 7 months), the most fearless and decisive of all;
  2. dad Lesha, always ready to support his son in any Skoda and any undertaking;
  3. Sveta's mother, a loyal fan of the Hobby Moms Club.

We are from Rostov-on-Don.

10. Advent calendar for dad and older sister

My name is Lyubov Vasilyeva, and my youngest daughter Katyusha and I made it in the form of a Christmas tree for dad and older sister.

Katya is not quite ready to complete the assignments yet, but it's easy to prepare. The tree is decorated with plasticine balls and rhinestones, as well as postcards-tasks, which Katyushka strung on a thread.

Tasks for dad:

  1. Buy a bottle of champagne and several types of cheeses;
  2. Go to the cinema with my wife for a New Year's comedy;
  3. Write a plan for the next NG and mothball it in the bank;
  4. Give each other a massage;
  5. Tell children about the 10 best qualities of a dad / mom (mom talks about dad, and dad about mom);
  6. Take the whole family to the ski lodge or go tubing;
  7. Today is the day of choosing a New Year's gift for the wife.

Assignments for Sister:

  1. To make a snowman;
  2. Show the younger sister a master class (paint the cones or make a Christmas toy for the Christmas tree);
  3. Make decorations for the Christmas tree in the forest;
  4. Bake cookies (money for food and a recipe have already been prepared);
  5. Decorate the windows in the room (stickers, acrylic paints);
  6. Sew a felt New Year's toy (felt, diagram);
  7. Make postcards to everyone close to you;
  8. Make a symbol of the New Year (a monkey that needs to be assembled from beads).

11. Soft herringbone

My name is Elena Burenina and I am the mother of Kirill 2.8, Nizhny Novgorod region, Sarov. We made the Christmas tree from soft packaging for shoes and fragile things.

For convenience, I lined the packaging and Kirill cut it into strips. On a stand for flower pots, a stick for sushi was fixed with plasticine and soft strips were pricked. The top was also fixed with plasticine. The plasticine at the bottom was covered with padding polyester - snow. My help to my son is minimal, I did almost everything myself.

12. Aroma - herringbone

My family and I created the Aroma Christmas tree.
Performers:

  • daughter Anya - 1 year 8 months;
  • mother Lena - 30 years old;
  • dad Dima - 30 years old.

Ingredient components:

  • a lid from a can of sauerkraut;
  • wooden skewers for barbecue;
  • two blocks of plasticine;
  • multi-colored tinsel on a wire (30 cm long);
  • cones;
  • star anise stars;
  • cinnamon sticks;
  • dough ("Razvivashki" company) and molds for modeling;
  • gouache paints (acrylic with sparkles);
  • hooks for Christmas tree toys.

Stages of work:

We make Christmas tree decorations from modeling dough. The daughter tears off colored pieces. I collect and roll out with a rolling pin. The daughter makes stamps using molds. Together we pierce with a crochet hook for Christmas tree toys. We are carrying to dry. I paint eyes. We paint cones together.

We collect the Christmas tree. I give a ball from 1 block of plasticine. The daughter sticks skewers into him. Together we roll the sausages from the 2nd block of plasticine and put them under the rim of the lid. I am installing the herringbone frame into the cover. The daughter paints the skewers with green paint. I insert green tinsel between the skewers, I also attach it to the top and bottom to the plasticine. Dad puts baby puree lids on the multicolored tinsel. I fix these "lid garlands" around the Christmas tree, since the wire inside makes it easy to do.

We decorate and flavor the Christmas tree. I put - using the same wire tinsel - cones on the tree. The daughter puts on toys made of dough. Together we stick in cinnamon and star anise stars. I make a star out of 3 tinsel sticks. The beautiful Christmas tree is ready!

My name is Victoria Barmatova and I am the mother of this beautiful girl, whose name is Ekaterina, she is 5 years old. We decided to make a Christmas tree from salted dough.

With a heat gun, I glued beads, a star (also made of dough), rain and decoration in the form of flowers on the spruce itself. The Christmas tree made of salted dough is ready!

14. Christmas tree - motanka

My name is Tatiana Vilyavina. We made a Christmas tree with our daughter Masha (4.5 g). We are from Moscow and decided to make a Christmas tree out of fabric, based on Russian folk dolls.

To make such a Christmas tree, you will need:

  • Any fabric for a base twist;
  • Two types of green fabric;
  • Multi-colored shreds;
  • Threads.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We make a cone-shaped base twist from any fabric. For rigidity, you can insert a paper cone inside. We wind everything up with threads;
  2. We cut out 4 squares from green fabric, the next one is smaller than the other by a few centimeters. In the middle of the green squares (except for the smallest one) we cut small holes;
  3. We put green squares on the cone, starting with the largest one, we wind it with threads, like a skirt;
  4. We cut into multi-colored squares (for toys and tops). We place a rag or cotton wool in their center, collect it in a "knot" and wrap it with threads. We place one (red knot) on the top of the tree, straighten its ends and fasten it with threads. The rest of the "toys" are attached to the corners of the branches;
  5. We are spreading our tree. All is ready. You can play!

My name is Valentina Akimova, I am from Moscow, I am 28 years old, my daughter is 3 years old. 10 months We made this craft 2 years ago on an assignment in a kindergarten.

I decided to make the Christmas tree mobile, for this I wrapped adhesive tape and napkins on the base made of a thin hanger from dry cleaning to give stability, volume and stability to the Christmas tree. And I sewed the tree itself from my husband's old jeans. The sewing process was still too early for my daughter, but I attracted her to the decoration.

The tree was supposed to be summer. Therefore, I cut out two flowers of butterflies from felt in advance, decorated them with beads, and my daughter glued them to double-sided tape. She didn't have enough for a long time, but it was important for me that the craft in the garden was her handiwork too. The minimum participation, of course, but the age at that time was quite small.

My name is Anastasia Zotova, I am from Vladivostok. We made a Christmas tree with our son Grisha (3.5 years old).

Material - packaging from flowers (like non-woven fabric) of green color. Grisha loves to cut and glue, so they opted for the option where scissors and glue are the main tools for creating a Christmas tree. The decorated herringbone was sprinkled with a "snowball" of crushed polystyrene foam.

17. Wall tree

My name is Galina Krivova and my daughter Katya and I have decided to take part in the forest beauty contest for 5 years. We are from Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk.

We have a Christmas tree made of wallpaper, decorated with my beads, Katya hairpins, stickers, homemade flags.

Only the base was made by adults. Katya did the rest, hung, hooked, glued herself. The Christmas tree was made in several stages and approaches, but each time it was interesting to watch how my daughter worked hard, invented and invented new decorations.

18. Three-sided Christmas tree

My name is Diana Gnilokozova and my son Egor and I, who are now 1.2 years old, want to participate in the competition. We live in Belarus, Borovka village, Lepel district, Vitebsk region.

We decided to make a Christmas tree together. Since the child is small, and his participation is necessary, we have prepared a simple version of the craft, where both mother and child can participate.

For our Christmas tree you will need:

  • cardboard;
  • 3 templates of any Christmas tree (you can find it on the Internet and choose the option that you like);
  • PVA glue;
  • scissors;
  • double sided tape;
  • gouache;
  • plasticine;
  • ribbons for decoration;
  • glitter nail polish.

We print the template in triplicate. We glue the Christmas trees to the cardboard and leave to dry. Cut out the templates neatly along the contour. On one side, paint with green gouache and leave to dry. On the other side of the templates we glue double-sided tape, fold the templates in half and glue them together. It turns out a Christmas tree.

It may happen that the templates do not match a little and some pieces of cardboard will be larger - they just need to be cut off with scissors. Next, we start decorating: we sculpt small balls of different colors from plasticine and glue them to the Christmas tree - we get Christmas balls. We cover them with nail varnish - so they will shine. Instead of tinsel, we added a beautiful ribbon to the Christmas tree, and instead of a star - a red bow. Our Christmas tree is ready !!!

19. Christmas trees made of chenille wire

My name is Vera Kogevina and my sons and I are Artyom Starukhin 6 years old and Anton Starukhin 4 years old
decided to participate in the Christmas tree competition. For several days in a row, children have been playing with chenille wire with great pleasure, twisting, making something. I offered to make a Christmas tree and the boys accepted the offer with enthusiasm.

With the eldest son, we decided to make a "curly" Christmas tree. For the base, Artem twisted 3 wires together, then added a few more wires. I helped connect the base into a circle. Then he screwed on more wires, leaving free ends. The result is a cone with pieces of wire sticking out. Artem twisted these ends into a spiral. I helped to distribute the "curly hair" evenly to make it look like a herringbone. The work took 2 days.

They made it easier with Antoshka. Twisted the trunk of two wires. And pieces of wire, different in size, were wound on it. Then Artyom suggested decorating the Christmas tree with beads.

20. Craft "Christmas tree" from postcards

I, Olga Nefedova, are the mother of three-year-old Yaromir and we are from the city of Kirov. We decided to participate in the competition. They took old New Year's cards as a basis, it's a pity to throw it away, but they have been around for a long time.

Yar cut out the circles, helped to twist them into cones, put plasticine and "fir paws" on the stick. To prevent the tree from falling, they stuck it into the lid from under the deodorant, which Yar carefully covered with plasticine. Then Jaromir thickly greased the cones with glitter glue, and decorated the stand with old wet wipes and the remnants of a shiny gum.

And they did not forget about the top. At the Yaromirkin warehouse of the necessary unnecessary things, just such was found! They did it more than once, but the child showed a clear interest in the process. Had a great time with my son! In the photo: our Christmas tree, a rabbit beloved by our son and Jaromir the monkey cut out of a postcard along the way.

21. Kiwi Christmas tree

For a tree, it is better to take 2 kiwis of different sizes. Peel the kiwi and cut into slices. We put the kiwi on a toothpick (we took 3 for strength). Decorate the Christmas tree with toys - pomegranate seeds.

Tired of the mess in the nursery? Tired of endlessly collecting toys for your child?

Additionally, one Christmas tree was sprinkled with snow - sugar. But it's better not to do this, it melts and the taste of kiwi with sugar is for a big fan.

The work was done by: Fedya Demidov (2 years and 10 months) and Oksana's mother (a little more).

22. Christmas tree made of pencil shavings

My name is Olga Khuzzyatova, and my youngest daughter Svetlana (3.5 years old) and I decided to take part in the Christmas tree competition, although we had not participated anywhere before. We are from Irkutsk. Once we were sitting, solving sheep's problems and we needed colored pencils, but they somehow got all written and dull, decided to sharpen it and ... here the idea of our Christmas tree was "born".

We made a cone out of cardboard and the fantasy was played out. At first I glued it myself, then my daughter joined in and finished the Christmas tree. She liked the gluing process very much, she was so pleased!

After the Christmas tree was ready, the decorations were glued: snowflakes, balls, stars and, of course, a star was put on the top of the head! All day, animals and toys were dancing around this Christmas tree.

23. Christmas tree - candle

The second work for the competition from Olga Huzzyatova and Svetlana's daughter is a beeswax Christmas tree.

On the eve of the New Year's holiday, for the second year now, we are making all our friends and acquaintances live candles as a gift. When you touch the foundation with your hands - such a grace. And when you look at the fire from a candle - it's just magic! At first, the children and I simply breathed in this divine scent of autumn and honey. So we like him ... And then we began to create and create.

This time they made a Christmas tree candle.

They took a foundation, cut it in half, then into triangles. They put in a wick and my daughter began to twist. All is ready! Simple, beautiful, practical, with love and warmth of our hands!

24. Winter composition

We are the Kushev family (father Petya, mother Nastya, son Fedya) from St. Petersburg. My son and I really love making crafts and decorating our house in every possible way! Dad helps us sometimes.

We send our craft for the kindergarten to the competition. There is not only a Christmas tree on it, but also a snowman - a mischievous person, as well as firewood and a snowman's headdress. The idea of a snowman standing on the head was spied somewhere, but there was a real snowman, and we also wanted to play pranks, like Carlson, and we made our own out of ... deodorant balls.

And the tree was built from sisal, well, and snow is made of salt and PVA glue as easy as shelling pears.

25. Edible Christmas tree made from vegetables and cheese

My name is Olga, my son is 4.8. We are from Ussuriysk. Timur loves to cook very much, even with his dad he maintains a culinary blog http://www.psyholog-ussur.ru/index.php/blog/kylinarniy. Hence such a topic of crafts.

Used broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, tofu, corn. Snow is infant formula.

26. Tinsel Christmas tree

My name is Tatiana Dominova and my daughter Alisa (2.5 years old) and I are from St. Petersburg. We decided to make a simple craft "Christmas tree of their tinsel".

For crafts we need:

  • green cardboard;
  • green tinsel;
  • stapler;
  • pom-poms;
  • glue like "Moment" (or hot glue);
  • yellow self-adhesive paper;
  • toothpick.

Manufacturing process:

  1. We rolled up a green cardboard cone and secured it with a stapler;
  2. They took green tinsel and wrapped it around the cone, securing it with a stapler;
  3. Glued pom-poms on glue Moment. When the pom-poms were glued, we pushed the tinsel apart and glued them onto a cardboard cone;
  4. We cut out two stars from yellow self-adhesive paper, glued them together, and inserted a toothpick into the middle of the star. Then they put a star on the top of the tree.

So we got a craft, which we spent 15 minutes making. Most of all I like that my daughter was able to make this craft almost independently. I just helped her make a cone and cut out a star. Our tree turned out to be so cute that dad decided to take it to work.

27. Christmas tree for the lazy

My name is Gazizova Gulnara, and my daughter Leysan is 2.1 months old. We are from Chelyabinsk. My daughter helped to circle the rings, paint, collect crafts.

I hope you don’t think our craft tree is too simple. She came up with the idea herself, especially for this competition.

We need:

  • pyramid;
  • green cardboard or ordinary (then green paints are needed);
  • scissors;
  • optional: hole punch, decorations for the Christmas tree.

Manufacturing process:

  1. Cut out blanks from cardboard - branches. The number depends on the number of rings. (At the bottom of the pyramid there will be the largest workpiece - a branch, at the top - the smallest);
  2. If you cut out blanks from white cardboard, then they must be painted with green or blue paint, and when it dries up, walk with a semi-dry brush with yellow paint;
  3. If desired, trim the edges of the branches, imitating needles;
  4. If you plan to hang bows, ribbons, beads on the branches, then you need to make holes on the branches with a hole punch (we did not);
  5. Blanks - put the branches on the pyramid, alternating with rings;
  6. You can decorate the Christmas tree if you wish.

28. Winter application "Forest glade"

My name is Marina Furzikova, and my son Daniel, he is 2 years old. We live in a small town called Yoshkar-Ola. Since my son is still small, our craft turned out to be very simple.

We needed:

  • cardboard;
  • lace;
  • cotton pads and sticks;
  • stickers;
  • purchased eyes.

It is very easy to make such an application:

  1. My son glued the details of the Christmas tree prepared by me in descending order;
  2. He made snowdrifts from the halves of cotton pads;
  3. From whole cotton pads (with already prepared eyes, a nose and buttons) I made a snowman, glued a cardboard bucket and added handles - cotton sticks;
  4. Decorated the background with snowflakes stickers.

29. Christmas tree with a pine cone

My name is Yulia Alkhovik and Alice and I 2.8 y. Made a Christmas tree for the competition. Alice did this craft almost all herself. I just cut out a piece of cardboard and glued the bump to the loop.

First, Alice painted the blank with finger gouache. While everything was drying up, my daughter decorated the bump. After drying, the pasta stars were glued onto plasticine balls. They made a hole with a hole punch and inserted the ribbon.

I helped glue the bump. Then they decorated the stars and glued the snow from cotton wool. It turned out very elegantly!

30. Christmas tree - postcard

My name is Nadezhda Kudryashova, and my daughter is Anya, she is 4 years old. We are from St. Petersburg. I love to embroider and my daughter, looking at me, began to ask me to teach her too. So I came up with such a Christmas tree card to get acquainted with a needle and thread.

Everything is simple: they pasted the silhouette of a Christmas tree (my daughter just wanted a triangle) and began to thread threads (they used a floss), stringing beads on them. The result is garlands. At the end, droplets of glue were dropped and sprinkled with sparkles.

31. Christmas tree - thread cone

My name is Lena, and my son Valera is 2.6 g. We are from Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region.

The paper cone was wrapped in an ordinary plastic bag, greased with glue and wrapped with threads. They allowed the glue to dry, then carefully removed the cone first, and then the package.

The fun began! The son was given a huge selection of jewelry, he chose flowers, ribbons, beads and large beads. Perhaps the photos do not reflect the entire decoration process, but since the work was done with glue, I could not leave my son without her help for a long time.

I already had a base with cones for 2 years, so we put a Christmas tree on it.

Natalia Kardashina and her sons could not pass by our competition. Each of them decided to make their own tree.

32. Orange tree in quilling technique

I reacted to this idea with doubt: "Alyosha, you cannot twist that much." But she turned out to be wrong, Alexey himself almost completely twisted all the elements. I only helped to glue everything together.

The basic elements are used - a drop, a rhombus and an eye.

The Christmas tree turned out to be creative - orange. We decided that it would be more fun, and we had only very pale, sad green stripes.

33. Purple Christmas tree

Of course, at 3 years old, it is difficult to give volumetric modeling, so I had to help a lot when creating the form. The base is a cone from a gift bag, shuttlecock is corrugated paper slightly stretched along the edge and tightened along the fold.

34.3-D applique for babies

Of course, such kids as my youngest son are not yet given the opportunity to do crafts, they do not even understand what exactly is needed from them, but the process of smearing with paint is fascinating!

They painted with finger paints, although I later regretted it, since there was not enough brightness. Stage 1 - drawing the background. Stage 2 - cutting out layers. Stage 3 - gluing the applique onto a thick double-sided tape.
Our Christmas trees have become the backdrop for the purple Christmas tree composition.

35. Christmas tree - support

My name is Vlada Maksimishina, we are from Yalta. The Christmas tree was made with my daughter (4 years old). The idea was "born" by accident. I was planning to make some kind of "classic" Christmas tree, but looking at pictures on the Internet I realized that any triangular-shaped object can be called a "Christmas tree". And then the word "support" caught my eye on the screen, and, although it was used in a different meaning, the decision was made. The theme of light, or rather its absence, is currently relevant in Crimea, and making a Christmas tree in the form of a support seemed like an interesting idea.

I thought for a long time what to make this support from. The idea to use hangers also came up by accident (I saw my daughter playing with a hanger before hanging up her jacket). It took only 5 hangers, some scotch tape, tinsel, foil, cocktail tubes and string. Well, a few ready-made toys for decoration (there was not enough time to make it with my own hands).

36. Christmas tree made of plastic spoons

Somewhere on Saturday afternoon
We made the Christmas tree as our family.
We are from Angarsk, let's be honest
Making a "beauty" was a dream.

For a Christmas tree with a height of 20 cm you will need:

  • 44 - 45 disposable spoons (cut off their handles);
  • 1 cone (thick cardboard or foam) 20 cm high;
  • glue (we took a pistol glue, you can use "Moment", but it is toxic to the child);
  • green paint and soap;
  • decorations for the Christmas tree (we made from corrugated paper).

We glue the spoons onto the workpiece, starting from the bottom. After all the spoons are glued, we take the paint and begin to paint by dipping the brush in soap first (this way the paint is better to lie down and does not slip). And now the beautiful tree is already ready.

While the tree dries up, we make a decoration. We made Christmas balls from corrugated paper. They cut out the squares, then crushed them and glued them to the tree. We decorate the tree at our discretion. My son wanted to stick a painted cone on the top of his head (it was left from the door New Year's wreath, painted with paint from a balloon), you can make a star out of paper.

The work was carried out by Yaroslav Bichevin, 4 years old and mother Svetlana Bichevina, Angarsk.

37. Christmas tree - snowflake

My name is Olga Lunde and my daughter Anechka (3.8) from Krasnoyarsk and I decided to participate in the Christmas tree competition. We worked on our winter beauty for several days.
For work we needed:

  1. cone (made of thick cardboard);
  2. cotton pads;
  3. PVA glue;
  4. gouache;
  5. various decorations: beads, balls, etc .;
  6. for the garland, we used thin fishing line and beads.

First of all, Anyuta glued the disks onto the cone. This work with us stretched out for the whole day - you need to paste a lot and carefully. After we glued all the "Christmas tree legs", we straightened the tree to dry up.
The second step was painting the tree green. Anya used green gouache and a small sponge. And again the tree was left to dry.

And, finally, the most interesting thing - let's start dressing up our beauty. For this we used colored craft balls. Anyuta was very carried away by this occupation. The balls were of various sizes. We tried on and consulted on how best to arrange them. A red ball was placed on the top - this is how we got a star.

Of course, we could not leave the Christmas tree-snowflake without a garland. On a thin fishing line, Anyuta strung various beads from a set for making beads and bracelets.

At the end of our work, we admired the Christmas tree and decided to arrange a holiday in a fabulous, magical forest. We invited our toy animals: Teddy bear and bear cub, squirrel, hedgehog, fox and bunnies. A New Year's fairy tale turned out!

38. Christmas tree made from natural materials

39. Candy Christmas tree

The following 2 works were presented out of competition from Yulia Maznina, a member of the team of the Club of Passionate Moms.

My name is Yulia Maznina. I have two boys: Andrey (10 years old) and Maxim (2 years 10 months). We live in the city of Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region.

For several years in a row, we have been making a candy tree for the New Year. Children remember about it and every year they themselves remind us to do it again.

Usually we give a candy tree to someone. This fall, Maxim went to kindergarten, so this year we made a candy Christmas tree to arrange a Christmas tree party in the kindergarten before the New Year, when the Christmas tree brings gifts to the kids - sweets.

For the "Candy Christmas tree" craft we needed:

  • a glass bottle for mineral or carbonated water (you can use a 0.5 liter plastic bottle, but for stability it needs to be filled with water);
  • sweets in a green wrapper (we had Pine Nut bars with painted cones on the wrapper, we took 50 sweets for a 0.5 liter glass bottle - 2 for each child in a kindergarten group + educators);
  • 2 candies for the youngest participant, since it is difficult to make a Christmas tree out of candies and at the same time not eat any of them;
  • scotch tape and scissors.

Starting from the bottom, we glued the candies in several tiers by one end of the wrapper to the bottle. The top of the bottle was decorated with tinsel, and a red cap was put on the neck. Together with the Christmas tree, we made a monkey that will bring a candy Christmas tree to kindergarten. When the Christmas tree is distributing the treat, you don't need to pluck the candy, you just need to pull the candy out of the wrapper. The more candies eaten, the fluffier the Christmas tree will become.

40. Christmas tree made of rubber bands

The youngest son is very fond of decorating Christmas trees. We have been doing this almost every day since the beginning of December. The Christmas trees are different, but I try to come up with such options so that he himself can then repeat the process.

For a Christmas tree made of rubber bands, we needed:

  • a plastic bottle with a volume of 0.5 liters (you can take a red cap for a bottle - a star on the top);
  • rubber bands for hair of different diameters (it is better to use thick ones, they hold better).

We put elastic bands on the bottle from the bottom up, combine or alternate colors. For more stability, you can pour some water into the bottle.

Blimey! A whole spruce forest of crafts turned out!

We thought and thought and decided to reward each participant of the competition with a pleasant New Year's Eve surprise. Well, our team decided to distribute the main prizes as follows:

  • Nomination "Christmas tree for a kid" - a tree-pyramid for the lazy from Gulnara Gazizova from Chelyabinsk (No. 27)
  • Nomination "Appetizing Christmas tree" - a tree made of vegetables and cheese from Olga from Ussuriysk (No. 25)
  • Nomination "Eco-tree" - a tree-candle made of beeswax from Olga Khuzzyatova (No. 23)
  • But that is not all! Our entire team simply could not ignore the Christmas tree from Yalta from Vlada Maximishina. This supporting tree receives the Creative Christmas Tree nomination.

Congratulations to the winners and thanks again to everyone for participating! You are incredible!

In the fall, more and more often you begin to think about the coming of the New Year with its festive mood, meetings with friends and family and, of course, gifts. In addition, we all associate the New Year with the Christmas tree since childhood! Let's talk about her)

Fortunately, people are increasingly thinking that it is not worth chopping a live tree for the sake of a few holidays. Krestik and I fully support this decision and believe that a Christmas tree with our own hands is much more interesting and humane! In addition, these are excellent options for those who have nowhere to put a large Christmas tree (for example, there is no free space, or an active little child on this free space).

We bring to your attention a large selection of master classes on creating a decorative Christmas tree with your own hands, which will serve as a wonderful decoration for your home and an original gift for a wonderful holiday!

Christmas tree made of cones

A very original Christmas tree with your own hands can be made from pine cones. But we will not use the whole cones, but use only their scales so that the tree is not too bulky.

So, to begin with, let's separate its scales from the cone. This can be done with a sharp knife, wire cutters or pruning shears.

Be careful, take care of your hands!

The next step is to make a cone out of thick paper or cardboard, which will be the base of our tree. We fold the paper into a cone, glue it on the side and cut off the excess at the base.

Then we just take the scales in our hands and glue them in a circle, starting from the base of the cone.

You can glue each new row in a checkerboard pattern, you can, as here, one above the other.

You can glue a clove on the top of the tree (such a spice))

After the glue dries, you can start painting our beauty. To do this, you can use spray paint or regular acrylic paint.

If you choose acrylic paint with a metallic effect, then your tree will look much more impressive.

Then we cover the ends of the "twigs" with PVA glue and sprinkle sparkles on them.

Such beauty is obtained as a result of these uncomplicated actions:

In exactly the same way, you can decorate the cone with chains and beads, decorative cords, ribbons, braid, etc.

Another very popular way to make artificial Christmas trees with your own hands is weaving them from beads. This is perhaps the most painstaking way, but for lovers of beading, there is nothing impossible!

A detailed process of weaving Christmas trees from beads will not fit in one article, so we share with you links to master classes previously published on "Cross".

Christmas tree made of paper and cardboard

If you have nothing to do in the workplace) or just want to add a little holiday to the office, make a Christmas tree out of paper. What's easier?)

And this tree is very similar to the design one, don't you think? It's all the fault of colored designer cardboard, which is so beautiful and bright that you don't need to decorate the Christmas tree with anything else), which simplifies the process of making a Christmas tree with your own hands.

Secondly, to make a designer Christmas tree, you can use threads that are wound on a paper cone using the technology of making fishnet balls.

Thirdly, a flower net and a net for bouquets.

The manufacturing technology of these three trees is very similar, so the process of their creation is shown in one master class.

Herringbone made of feathers

Yes, they do too! Feathers are available at hardware stores, or do you have stocks of bird feathers? They can be dyed with food coloring for brightness. It looks original, beautiful and so airy!

New Year is the funniest and most children's holiday.
Even adults are not afraid to look funny in the red caps of Santa Claus and with a bunch of gifts.
What can we say about the kids who are trying to take part in all matters in this joyful mess!
The main attributes of the New Year are Santa Claus and a Christmas tree.
Traditionally, a large Christmas tree is decorated with toys and tinsel, and round dances are held around it. What if you make an unconventional Christmas tree?
A beautiful do-it-yourself paper Christmas tree will not pretend to be a central place, but it can decorate a children's room or become a souvenir gift. Believe me, such a Christmas tree will find its use.
A Christmas tree is made from paper, cardboard, colored and corrugated paper, tinsel and any other materials at hand.
It is easy and fun to do: children take part in the work with great pleasure.
Two-year-olds, for example, can roll plasticine balls, which will later become a toy, or glue a small piece in the place indicated by the adults.
And the memories of the joint craft will last for several days.
There are at least a dozen ways to make a Christmas tree out of paper with your own hands, but in any case
you will need:
- Paper (colored, corrugated, thick - whatever)
- Pencil with ruler Glue and stapler
- Scissors
- Sometimes compasses

Model No. 1. Tree made of paper volumetric

First, the base of the tree is made - a cone. If the tree is planned to be large, the cone is made of Whatman paper (it can be replaced with four A4 sheets glued together). A center is marked in the center of the wide side, from it we draw lines to the two lower corners, cut it off (do not forget to leave an allowance for gluing), cut off the semicircular base, glue it, check whether it is level. On this basis - a cone - you can make several different versions of Christmas trees. You can make a large paper tree if you make a large cone, and a small one on a small cone. And different methods of making needles will generally be misleading: it may seem that these are different Christmas trees.

The first version of the Christmas tree-cone

To make the blank cone look like a Christmas tree, we make needles from colored paper. Traditionally, the needles are green, but you can assume that there is snow or frost on the branches - the choice of color is yours. We outline the rectangles: for the lower needles, the width of the rectangle is 7 cm. From the rectangle we make a trapezoid: the upper side is cut off. The wide side is folded into a triangle and fastened with a stapler or glue, the top one is convenient to stick to the cone.

Bulky needles can be replaced with circles glued to the top. If you cut out circles of different shades of green, the tree will look more original.

The needles are glued in rows start at the bottom. To make the tree look beautiful, reduce the size of the needles every three rows. That is, we draw rectangles first 6.5 cm, then 6 cm and 5 cm. The top of the tree is decorated with a small cone, the bottom of which is cut off with triangles. If desired, the Christmas tree is decorated with sparkles. You can use ready-made sequins, you can finely chop the tinsel. Apply glue to the needles and sprinkle glitter on them.

The second version of the Christmas tree-cone

We build a frame, cut thin short strips from colored paper, wind each strip onto a pencil. The stripes take on a twisted look. With a certain skill, you can twist the strips of paper with scissors: we gently draw the blade of open scissors from one end of the strip to the other, while simultaneously pulling the strip. Glue the twisted strips to the cone. You can decorate the Christmas tree with anything: sparkles, bows, balls, stars.

The third version of the Christmas tree-cone

Glue drop needles onto the prepared frame. We make the needles from strips of green (or any other) paper, glue their ends - a drop is obtained. At the bottom of the cone we glue larger drops, at the top - smaller ones.

The fourth version of the Christmas tree-cone

Wide strips of paper cut into fringes are glued to the base. Again, at the bottom of the strip is wider (respectively, the needles are longer), at the top of the strip is narrower. The color of the needles can be any: green will make it natural, multi-colored - decorative. We cut the strips into small "needles", without cutting to the end of about 1.5-2 cm. After the glue dries, the needles can be bent upwards - carefully draw with a scissor blade from the base of the needles to the ends. Such a Christmas tree made of corrugated paper will look beautiful.

Model No. 2. Christmas tree made of paper and cardboard

Double-sided cardboard is required. Fold a sheet of cardboard in half, draw the outline of the Christmas tree. Draw the exact same contour on another sheet. We cut out both contours, then along the axis we make cuts to the middle: on one Christmas tree on top, on the other below. We insert parts into each other. We decorate with tinsel, balls (glass or paper), sparkles - whatever. In the photo - slotted toys.

A similar Christmas tree can be made from colored paper. It will require 4 sheets. We fold each sheet in half, cut out a triangle. We glue the resulting parts together and cut the needles at an angle. You need to twist them before the glue dries.

Model No. 3. Christmas tree made of colored paper

This model requires heavy paper. It is done simply: cut out a triangle, fold it with an accordion, make a through hole into which we insert a stick-rod. To keep the tree stable, the stick can be inserted, for example, into an eraser. Such a Christmas tree can become a small souvenir or decorate a workplace. She will definitely create a New Year's mood.

Model No. 4. Christmas tree in papercraft technique

How such a Christmas tree is made of paper, the diagram clearly shows. It is necessary to cut several circles of different diameters (the bottom of the tree - from circles of a larger diameter, the top - from circles of a smaller one). The circles are drawn and cut, the needles are folded. The finished tiers are strung onto a rod. We decorate the Christmas tree with sparkles, beads, foil bows - the imagination is endless.

Model No. 5. Folding herringbone

For such a Christmas tree, several circles of different diameters are cut out. The diameter and number of circles depends on the desired size of the herringbone. Fold each circle in half 4 times, unfold and straighten the circles. The trunk of a Christmas tree can be made from an old pencil, a cocktail straw, a wooden stick - all this is wrapped in colored paper, the tip is glued. In the center of each circle we cut a small hole (it should be less than the diameter of the trunk in order to hold it tight). We string circles-tiers on the trunk, starting from the bottom. A stand for a Christmas tree can be made from a wooden coil, cork, plastic bottle cap, plasticine, glued from thick paper.

Model No. 6. Origami from paper - tree

In this popular technique, you can make any figurines, including Christmas trees. How a Christmas tree made of paper is made using the origami technique, the video will demonstrate better than any words. We offer two options.
