But you can extend your fall mood by decorating your home with maple leaves made from paper. You can decorate a postcard with such a piece of paper or hang it at work near the monitor. Paper leaves are a beautiful craft that you can make with your kids! After all, children love to do creative work with their parents. Paper maple leaves are very different in design. The simplest leaves are cut from colored paper according to a pattern. To make a beautiful maple leaf, it's not hard to find the template you want and print it from the Internet. The most difficult to execute are leaves made using the origami technique.

Consider some of the most beautiful options for autumn maple leaves:

Folded accordion maple leaf

To make a leaflet (Figure No. 1) you will need:

  • Colored or white paper;
  • Pencils or paints;
  • Black felt-tip pen;
  • Glue stick;
  • Fluffy wire brush;
  • Scissors and a template - a maple leaf.

A leaf can be made from colored paper, or it can be made from white paper by painting it on one or both sides. Let's consider the second option. Fold the white paper in half and circle the pattern. To make it, you need to download a maple leaf template and print it on a printer, or attach paper to the monitor and carefully circle it. If you have drawing skills, then you can draw a diagram with your own hands. The resulting picture needs to be cut out - and the pattern is ready. It needs to be transferred to paper from which the leaves will be made.

Such a maple leaf made of colored paper is a very beautiful craft that will take a long time to complete. And if you need to make a lot of leaves to decorate the hall, then you can simplify the method of making this product. In this case, the leaves can be made of colored paper without tracing them around with a black marker, and instead of a ponytail made of wire, tie a knitting thread.

Beautiful garlands can be made from such leaves. In order not to circle the A4 maple leaf template every time, it will be convenient to print it with a printer on sheets of colored paper of the same size.

Origami maple leaf

Leaves in this technique are distinguished by volume and beauty of lines. These crafts can be used to decorate an album or photo frame. It's easy to do, you just need to follow the instructions. There are several different types of origami paper you can make. Let's take a look at some of them.

  • Wrap the bottom corner

  • Hide the bottom corner in the middle

  • Fold the lower corners of the triangle towards the middle.

  • Turn the workpiece over to the other side.

  • Gently unfold one side of the shape to fold it in a new pattern.

  • Do the same with the other edge.

  • Wrap the bottom of the polygon towards the top.

  • We wrap the sides to the middle, straightening the corners forward.

  • Raise the corners to the top.

  • We fold the other side in the same way.

  • We glue three blanks together, placing the largest figure in the center.

  • We glue a leg of colored paper to a leaf. A maple leaf made of colored paper using origami technique is ready.

Such a craft can also be made of white paper and colored at your discretion: with paints, felt-tip pens, pencils, decorate with sparkles, pieces of foil, paint with various ornaments. If you offer such a task to a group of children, the result will be an exhibition of very original maple leaves that can be used to decorate a wall or window.

Video diagram of a maple leaf pattern by Brian Chan

Hello dear readers. Recently, I was so imbued with scrapbooking, creating postcards. Probably, for me, this is an occupation from which I get great pleasure. I am very glad, on the blog, to share the creation of flowers, leaflets, postcards. I am learning, so my stories and master classes will be more for beginners than for professionals. But it all starts with the first step, even the longest path. You gradually improve and you get beautiful works. When you become imbued with something, it becomes a part of you. I think creative people will understand me.

I am very happy when beauty is born in the form of a beautiful postcard. The occupation is new for me, but very interesting. A large pile of postcards has already been collected. My daughter offers to make an exhibition.))) This activity is "for the soul", when I make postcards, I have a rest. An interesting lesson.)))

Each time you collect knowledge bit by bit, you create beautiful things. Today I have simple rose paper sheets. I made a master class for you. I'll tell you how I make rose leaves.

Leaves of paper for a rose. Master Class. Scrapbooking

To create the leaves, I need green paper. My last purchases were not limited to one dark green paper color.

I buy paper at a craft store. My paper is double-sided, thick.

I also need a simple pencil and scissors.

You can use a template or cutting to create leaflets. I will draw the leaves by hand. So far I haven’t acquired felling for myself.

On a piece of green paper, I draw a rose leaf with a simple pencil. I cut out a piece of paper with scissors. I save paper very much))

Recently, prices are constantly being raised for materials. I don’t know about you. Tell me where you can profitably purchase materials for scrapbooking, if you know.

I take different photos to make it clear how I fold the piece of paper. First you need to fold and then unfold the leaf. So it turns out such a "miracle leaf". Very believable in my opinion.

I was taught to make such sheets at a master class that our daughter attended in the summer. I asked the teacher a question and received step-by-step instructions. For which I was very grateful to her. Now I make the leaves just like that.

As a result, the leaves are very similar to the leaves of a rose, with veins. I use different shades of green paper to create the leaves. The leaves are gorgeous.

If you make leaves for roses in a different way, then share how you do it below in the comments.

Rosettes, I make different ones, I have shared this option on the blog so far. As it turns out, doing it is not at all difficult, as I previously thought. It is with the flowers that I glue the leaves on the postcards. It looks super!

Work description: The material contains step-by-step instructions for making a three-dimensional maple leaf out of paper. This is a simple fall craft that can be used both as a separate decoration and as part of a more complex composition.

DIY voluminous maple sheet of paper

Target: using simple materials to make an autumn craft that can be used both as a separate decoration, and as part of a more complex composition.

The finished maple leaf looks like this:

Epigraph:

Autumn, like summer, is also a season.

Yellow leaf from dawn, and weather with rain.

And bad weather in the morning, and cool in the morning.

A maple leaf for good luck is an autumn reward.

On a maple leaf of the sun, a ray plays,

Autumn invites you to the kingdom of snow again.

And one more small lyrical digression. Before the last New Year, I saw a voluminous snowflake in the window of one of the stores and thought that it would be very difficult to make one. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that it was made very quickly and easily, you just need to know the algorithm of actions! And so I made one snowflake, the students saw it, asked to teach it, and as a result, almost all of our vocational school was literally "strewn" with these snowflakes by the New Year. On the basis of this technique, I decided to try to complete the presented work.

Well, now let's start making a voluminous maple leaf.

Equipment and materials: colored paper (or square orange stickers, measuring 7 by 7 centimeters), PVA glue (or glue stick), scissors.

Algorithm for performing the work:

1. Cut out 7 squares from orange paper (or take 7 stickers). Bend each of these squares diagonally in half. On each, mark the lines of subsequent cuts - these are the parallel lines shown in the figure. Cut the marked lines with scissors, starting from the edge and not reaching the middle about 1 cm.

3. Turn the workpiece over and glue the next two corners together.

4. Then you need to turn the workpiece over again and glue the last two corners together, the gluing point in the photo is indicated by an arrow.

As a result, you should get the following elements of the leaflet:

5. We start collecting the leaflet.

To make its upper part, we take 3 elements and glue them, as shown in the figure. All elements are a little asymmetrical, so they need to be connected in this way:

From the same piece of paper we roll up a thin tube and glue it to the top of the leaf.

6. For the side parts of the leaf, glue two elements together.

7. The side parts must be glued just below the tip of the leaf.

As a result of the work, you should get such a voluminous maple leaf.

Handicraft workshop - working with paper

This work can be done with older children in the fall. It can serve as a decoration for both the group and the music hall. Children are happy to do this work, seeing the result of their work.

Master class on the theme "Autumn garland"

Audience: the master class is designed for children 6-7 years old.

Appointment: a garland can be a decoration for a parent's corner in the fall

Target: learn to do work using different materials

Tasks:

1. Continue to teach children to fold a sheet of paper in the way - accordion

2. Strengthen the ability to work with scissors.

3. Develop fine motor skills

Material:

Colored paper

PVA glue

Scissors

Template for leaves

Ruler, pencil

Progress:

If it's autumn, everyone knows

leaves are walking in the sky,

The leaves are different in color:

yellow and red.

To make the first leaflet, we need:

1. Two pieces of paper that we fold in half

2. Then on this piece of paper we draw a diagonal

3. Make a cut along the drawn line and fold the resulting triangle into an accordion.

4. Take a piece of thread (30 cm) and tie it in the middle of the accordion.

5. By gluing the long sides, we get an autumn leaf

Making a maple leaf. For this we need:

6. A sheet folded in half (see point 1), a special template that we put on this sheet.

7. Cut along the contour and fold the resulting workpiece into an accordion.

8. Just as when performing the first leaf, we take a thread and tie in the middle of the accordion

9. We receive such a sheet.

We make the third type of leaves:

10. Fold two sheets of paper in half, draw a diagonal (as in point 2) and draw "teeth".

11. Repeating paragraphs 3 and 4, we get:

12. Glue the two sides and get the finished sheet.

13. By fastening the made leaves, we get a garland that can be hung in a group

Or you can collect three leaves together, getting one big one, as you like.
