Making a doll from a plastic bottle with your own hands is easy and quick. Do-it-yourself doll from a plastic bottle: we analyze the original version of the craft How to make a doll on a bottle

Some people, having finished drinking juice or water, prefer to immediately get rid of plastic bottles as if they were garbage, while others keep them at home in the hope that they will come in handy someday.

What are the benefits of plastic bottles?

Indeed, from such bottles you can come up with many different decorations for your home. A good option to complement the design of a living room, kitchen or even a nursery can be a doll. Human figures have been made from various materials for thousands of years. In some cases, they were used in rituals, and they carried a sacred meaning; sometimes they served as decoration for the family monastery and, of course, as a children's toy.

Materials for making a doll

So, a doll made from a plastic bottle with your own hands - how to make it correctly? Let's look at a few options.

It is necessary to prepare the following materials:

  • two plastic bottles;
  • scotch;
  • some fabric;
  • threads, needle;
  • nylon sock (in good condition, or new);
  • woolen threads;
  • filling for the doll in the form of cereals, legumes or beads;
  • stationery knife and scissors.

That, in principle, is all that is required to make it out of plastic bottles; anyone can make it.

Making a doll with your own hands

  1. We take one bottle and cut off its lower and upper parts. Using tape, glue the cut parts together. Do this efficiently so that the doll does not fall apart later.
  2. We cut off the top part of the second bottle and try it on to the body. If the size and proportions suit you, we continue working further.
  3. Pour the filler into the body. Literally a handful of cereal or peas is enough.
  4. Now it's time to dress up the doll. You can sew something like a dress, or alternatively, you can simply cut off the sleeve from an old unnecessary jacket and pull it onto your creation.
  5. Let's get to the hands. Take a long piece of fabric, fold it in half and sew it up, leaving the sides intact. We stuff fabric, cotton wool, latex or padding polyester inside. Place more stuffing in the middle to highlight the chest of the future doll.
  6. Now fill a small section of a nylon sock with cotton wool and tie it with thread. It turned out to be two palms. Let's sew the palms to the hands.
  7. It's time to take care of your head. We will stretch a nylon sock over the cut off upper part of the second bottle, in the center of the face, under the sock, place a small cotton ball and tighten the fabric under it. This is the nose.
  8. We will make a hairstyle for the doll from woolen threads.
  9. We need to connect the head with the body. To do this, cut a small plastic strip and twist it into a tube so that the diameter fits the hole in the head. And we place our head on this protruding tube. A doll made from a plastic bottle (you can create it with your own hands in a matter of minutes) is almost ready.
  10. You can make eyes using buttons, beads, or take ready-made stickers.
  11. If you add a scarf and beads, the lady you have made will look even more impressive.

This is how you make a doll with your own hands from plastic bottles. The master class is very simple and accessible to everyone. You get an original toy without any cash costs, because everything you need to create a doll can be found in every home.

Instead of clothes, you can paint plastic with paints.

Other options for making a doll

There is an easier and faster way to make a doll from a plastic bottle with your own hands:

Making a doll from a plastic bottle with your own hands is very simple. Using this method, even a five-year-old child can make himself a doll toy. And it is absolutely free, and the child receives creative development.

You can make a doll from plastic bottles by tying one bottle with a hook and thread into a beautiful dress. And cut off the top of the second bottle, making a head, as in the first option. Then connect the head to the body. And decorate the imperfect neck with a knitted scarf or scarf.

As you can see, there are many ways to make a beautiful doll from a plastic bottle. Made with your own hands, it will delight you and your guests.

In the forgotten word Bereginya,
Not only the beauty of sounds,
She is a glorified goddess,
A dream of love and fidelity.
And in Rus' there is such a title,
Gave it to a woman-wife
Who has a natural vocation
It gave me the power to be in charge of the family.
She is a dove and an eagle,
Over the cradle and nest,
Old woman, mother or maiden,
Always with a saving crown.
And everything alive and good,
It came from the feminine gender,
And selflessness is holy,
Warmth and tenderness preserved.
M.F. Vasilenko
The image of the Beregini doll is known to many who are interested in protective needlework. Among the ancient Slavs, Bereginya is a goddess who protects and protects all living things. Goddesses protected people from evil spirits and predicted what would happen in the future. Beregini saved people from the machinations of devils, watermen and kikimoras, helping them get to the shore. They saved small children who had fallen into the water; they personified the good forces of nature. They took care of the crops and the timely rain for them. Beregini are deities of fertility and moisture, they watered the fields with dew from magic horns.
In protective needlework, the image of Beregini was quite understandable. This is a doll made of scraps of fabric, with fairly large breasts (a symbol of fertility), holding a bundle in her hands. What does the knot symbolize? Well, like all the household belongings. So she collected all the good things in a bundle and takes care of them! The size of the doll was about the size of a palm, but they made larger ones if necessary.

There is an idea - to make a doll on a bottle. It's not just like that. The fact is that bottles also have magical powers and a doll made on this basis will, as you understand, be special.
The attitude to the bottle as a magical object has been known since the 16th century. This was done by witches... sorceresses. Some harmed people, while others did not. But people did not really respect witches, regardless of whether the witch managed to do anything in her life or not. And therefore, the witches tried to fence themselves off, to somehow protect themselves. They used dark glass bottles. It absorbs all the negativity and doesn’t give it back. They filled bottles with nails, plant thorns, broken glass and buried them under the threshold of their house, reading the plot. A person with bad intentions could not cross such a threshold.
Bottles made of light or clear glass were also used for protection. They were filled with plant petals, herbs and placed in a prominent place, reading, again, a magical plot. This was done by the most ordinary people. Not sorcerers and not velmas.
And in order to attract profit, they used green glass bottles. They put coins in them (now it can be 1 kopeck, 5 kopecks or 10), millet grains, sesame seeds, all 5 pieces each. They also used bitter pepper seeds and vanilla sticks. Also, everything is 5. The bottle was placed on the east side.
Let's create a Bereginya who will not only preserve what has already been acquired, but also contribute to the increase of good.
For work we will prepare:
*plastic bottle, 0.5 l. It would be nice if it were green, but at the moment I haven’t found one.
* white cotton fabric and some kind of variegated one
*thread, scissors, needle
*sintepon, just a little
*Trim for finishing and satin ribbon
We prepare the bottle in advance. Wash and dry. When you start working, the bottle inside must be dry. Fill it with either herbs or money. Your choice.
We make a square from white fabric. We pull out the threads a little along the edges so that the fabric does not fray later.

Like this. It is quite clear where the head is and where the hands will be.

You can attach a finishing braid to the sleeves or embroider some protective patterns.

Forming palms. To do this, bend a corner of the fabric slightly inward.

Then we bend both sides of the corner a little more inward, like an envelope.

Now we tighten it with thread and tie it.

We straighten out all the details.

From small squares of fabric (white or colored) we form the chest.

We raise the doll’s arms up and temporarily secure them. This is done so that subsequently the arms do not seem to be pulled towards the body. We attach the chest with a thread, or rather, we wrap it. A bottle with a waist would be more suitable for this work, but I used a regular one, which was fine too.

We put on a petticoat. The fabric was gathered on a thread and secured at the waist. I make petticoats for almost all dolls. It’s somehow more magnificent and elegant. The bottom can be decorated with thin lace or frill.

Now for the main skirt. It's just as easy to do. I used towel fabric. It is bright and very easy to use.

I made the apron from wide lace. I made a headband decoration on my head.

She tied a scarf around her neck. You can tie it in the front, but the chest gets in the way a little.

For a complete look - dolls. Children have always been associated with wealth and profit. In the old days, merchants, going for goods, took on the road a doll with small children attached to their hands or waist. It was believed that such a talisman would help in the affairs of merchants. Now they would say: “Help in business.”
For the frogs, we make small dense rolls of white cotton fabric. You can also use fabric in light, flesh tones.

Then we make constrictions with red thread. The top one is the head, and the bottom one is the navel.

We put on a scarf. We do not tie it, but wrap it with thread. Then we wrap it in a diaper and secure it with red thread.

We place the dolls on both sides of the chest along the waist line. We tie it with a satin ribbon approximately 1 - 1.5 cm wide.

The knot is very simple to make. We put padding polyester into a square-shaped piece of paper, or you can also put flower petals or dry herbs. Tighten the knot with thread or ribbon. We attach it to the hand.

Manufacturing

Make a cross from wooden blocks, screw a long screw into the center on which the doll will be attached.

Make a hole in the bottom of a plastic bottle the size of a wooden pole. Make the same holes at the level of the doll's future hands.

On the pole and wooden crossbar, cut grooves in the place where both sticks will connect.

Insert the pole into the bottle through the neck at an angle. Then insert the crossbar with the notch facing the pole. Slide the pole until both notches are connected and the edge of the pole comes out of the hole in the bottom of the bottle. If you do everything correctly, then after combining the parts and securing the structure to the cross, the base will be quite rigid. Additionally, you can lubricate the grooves with glue so that the crossbar and pole stick together. Screw the cap on the bottle and connect the pole to the cross.

Drill a hole in a plastic (or foam) ball with a diameter slightly larger than the cork.

Cover the ball with a nylon sock, cut off the excess and tuck the ends of the sock inside the hole.

Coat the bottle cap with glue and insert the ball. You now have the complete base of the doll.

Use black yarn to make hair for the doll, gluing it to the nylon.

The hairstyle can be styled in many different ways depending on the headpiece, so you can experiment.

Eyes and noses can be made not only from sparkles, but also using ready-made eyes for soft toys, cut out of durnula and varnished, made in the form of applique, etc. You can also simply paint facial features with acrylic paints.

In order to complete the doll's outfit, paint cotton pads in different colors with ordinary water-soluble paints. If you paint with a brush, the discs will turn out bright. If you dilute the paint in water and dip the discs, and then dry, the color will be more delicate and even.

To make a fluffy skirt, glue a cone-shaped frame from cardboard strips and secure it to the bottle. Calculate the bottom circle so that the cross is hidden under it.

Glue cotton pads onto the frame of the skirt.

The doll's hairstyle can be decorated as desired, or a scarf made of colored fabric can be worn.

If you want to make a ritual doll, then you do not need to make a face for it.

Add beads to the doll, attach some kitchen utensils or anything else to your hands as you wish.

A couple of phrases from us:

The master class is quite interesting and based on bottles you can create a whole army of different dolls for decorating and decorating festive events (and not just Maslenitsa) - it all depends on your imagination. But you don’t have to worry about crosses and sticks, but make everything simpler.

Do not cut the bottom of the bottle, but to make the doll stable, make the lower part heavier by pouring a little gypsum solution into the bottle.

Insert the stick into the holes, and to prevent it from moving, wrap it with pieces of tape near the plastic itself, then glue the ends of the tape to the bottle. You can also apply a thick layer of glue at the joints, or use thin tape to make a figure eight on the doll’s back, grabbing the stick from the front. There may be other ways to immobilize the arms if needed.

By the way, the arms can also be movable if they are made from several segments connected to each other. You can also use thick wire for your hands, wrapping it in padding polyester and covering it with nylon from tights.

For the skirt, you can make a solid cone-shaped frame from cardboard - it will be more rigid and the doll will be stable without any cross. The main thing is that the lower part of the body is exactly level with the bottom of the bottle.

If you plan to sew normal clothes for the doll, and not sculpt disks or other materials on it, then you don’t have to make a cone at all - a plaster blank at the bottom will already give the doll stability, and fabric skirts can be fluffy and multi-layered.

For some, plastic bottles are just trash and they immediately get rid of them. And some may see their forms as a funny toy. So I decided to make a rattle doll. But this doll is not for small children, but simply a decoration for your home. Surely each of you has a chatty neighbor, and I suggest you make a copy of her. But here it will rattle only at your request. Let's get started, I guess.

You don’t need a lot of materials; every home has it all:

1. Two plastic bottles
2. Scotch tape
3. Multi-colored scraps of fabric (for clothes)
4. Woolen threads (for hair)
5. Flesh-colored nylon sock
6. Filling for Tryndychikha - peas, beans, or just small pebbles
7. Scissors and a sharp stationery knife.

Let's make the body. We cut off the bottom and top of the bottle, we don’t need a huge doll, but you can choose its height yourself.

We fasten the top and bottom of the bottle with tape. Don't skimp on the tape; it will be sad if your doll falls apart one day.

Cut off the top of the second bottle and try it on, this will be the head.

We pour the “explosive” filler into the doll’s body and begin dressing the doll. I simply cut off the sleeve of an old children's sweater. It was just the right color and size for me.

Now we need hands.

We make palms from pieces of nylon socks and padding polyester. Carefully sew them to the shirt from the inside out. We roll a roller out of padding polyester and cover it with fabric. This will be the upper torso. Sew the top and bottom of the body.

You can fill the “bust” a little more tightly, so Tryndychikha will look a little more colorful.

Let's take care of the head. Everything is simple here - we pull the nylon sock over the bottle, put a small piece of synthetic padding inside so that we can form a nose.

We make hair from woolen threads and fasten it to the head. There’s no need to be too clever here, since we’ll still have a scarf on top.

Now you need to attach the head to the body. To do this, cut a small strip from the bottle, roll it into a tube, insert one end into the body, check that it is tight, and place the head on the sharpening end of the tube.

The eyes can be made from beads, but in my case it is self-adhesive paper in black and white. Several details, like a scarf and beads, complete the image of the scandalous aunt Tryndychikha.

The final look of the craft.

So, without spending a penny, you will receive wonderful interior toys that will undoubtedly make your guests smile, after which you need to clean the house, and help us with this

Svetlana Kokina presents us with her new creation - DOLLS ON PLASTIC BOTTLES. These dolls are unusual. They resemble dolls made from nylon tights, but the process of making them is much simpler, and the material that Svetlana used is quite unusual. For work she needed: 2 1.5 liter plastic bottles (head and torso), disposable forks (handles), as well as yarn (hair), nylon tights (skin on the face and arms), eyes - bought in a store , felt-tip pens, lipstick, as well as fabric for clothing, braid, jewelry (beads).
Let's tell you the secret of making such unusual dolls, which Svetlana Kokina was happy to share.

So, let's take a plastic bottle with a capacity of 1.5 liters, the upper part of this bottle is, as it were, pinched, and this is exactly the kind of bottle that will be suitable for our work. We cut off its bottom. The indentation mentioned above will be the neck of our future doll.
We begin to form the head and upper body. To do this, we wrap the prepared bottle with padding polyester and put a nylon on it (the open edge of which is located on the side of the neck of the bottle).
We tighten the neck with a rope, thereby separating the parts of the body - these are the head and torso of the doll. We make additional balls from padding polyester of the required size for the nose, neck, chin, forehead. We carefully insert the balls through the upper open part of the nylon and, using a needle and thread, form parts of the face, tightening them to the desired volume of the nose, neck, chin, and forehead.
Svetlana calls this method “PULLING”. When the main parts of the face are ready, we sew up the nylon. The seam is made at the place of the neck of the bottle. It needs to be closed for this we are doing the hairstyle. Using threads, we form a “flower bed” around the neck, secure it, and cut off the bangs. Glue on the eyes, draw on lips and cheeks with lipstick, and draw eyebrows with a marker. Consider that you have completed the main task. You have a look, a character and, if you want, a doll type. Now let's move on to the handles. To do this, we’ll take disposable forks and cover them with synthetic padding and nylon. Sew between the teeth, carefully forming fingers. We will make the fifth finger using the “PULLING” method. Our arms are almost ready, we just need to attach them to the body. In order for them to be movable, we cut the fork in half (the cut edge will be the elbow), we make the upper part of the handle with magma and sew the finished part just below the neck.
Most of the work has been done. Now you need to connect the top part of the doll with the bottom. For this we need a second 1.5 liter bottle. We insert one bottle into another and our doll immediately grows before our eyes.
And now you can play fashion designer. We will dress our doll. Now your imagination will have no limits. Svetlana coped with this task like this used white and printed chintz, braid for decoration
