MASTER CLASS FOR MANUFACTURING:

The direction of knitting the ball (according to the pattern) is from bottom to top. Each cell in the diagram corresponds to 1 loop.

We cast on the needles 12 loops and knit the first row with the front loops, distributing 3 loops on each knitting needle. We close in a circle.

We continue knitting (14 rows in a circle) and according to the scheme, adding loops in the right places indicated in the scheme.

To make it easier to navigate when knitting jacquard, we attach markers (you can attach pieces of thread in a contrasting color).

During work, we try not to tighten the thread from the inside out so that the knitted fabric does not deform.

The middle of the ball (13 rows according to the pattern) is knitted without decrements and additions, after which we begin to decrease the loops to the top of the ball and knit 14 rows, decreasing the loops (according to the pattern).

Without tying the ball to the end, at a height of 32 to 35 rows, insert a plastic ball inside the knitted fabric and continue knitting to the end with a plastic base inside. At the same knitting stage, you can simply fill the ball with padding polyester and then knit the ball to the end according to the pattern.

Then, with a needle, collect open loops on the top of the ball and carefully pull the upper hole by inserting and fastening the crocheted loop fastener into it.

I tied my ball on 2 knitting needles and, inserting a plastic ball inside, carefully sewed it up with a vertical knit stitch. Then I ironed the finished ball through a damp cloth.

FASTENING:

We crochet a chain of air loops with gray-blue acrylic yarn and knit the desired length of fastening. Fold it in half and secure the end with a needle - the loop is ready.

We crochet a chain of air loops with white acrylic yarn. Knit any length and form a snowflake flower at the top. We attach the petals with a needle and thread.

From the bottom with a needle we attach to the ball a long brush made of yarn of all three colors of acrylic thread.

To tie such a puppy we need:

We will start knitting from the head and smoothly move to the body without breaking the threads. Since we will knit by the method, we start with a ring of 6 stbn.

By the end of knitting, you need to fill the resulting ball with holofiber. Fill in more material, the ball should turn out to be plump.

When the ball is ready, we pull together the last loops, cut the thread and hide its tip.

Dog ears

In the middle of the ear, we will tie a strip with white threads and tie it with colored threads.

It is better to use a darker yarn, but I didn't have another one, I knitted all the details in one color.

We collect a chain of 10 VP.

1 row: 9 PRS with white threads.

2nd row: we attach a colored thread, 1 VP, 3SBN, 1 half-column with a crochet (we make a yarn, pull the thread and knit all three loops on the hook at once), 3С1Н, 5С1Н into the extreme loop of the chain and in the reverse order on the other side of the chain - 3С1Н, 1 half-column with crochet, 4СБН.

Paws

We crochet the paws of our New Year's dog again on 10 air loops.

1st finger: 2 sc.

2nd finger: we continue to knit from the first finger - 2VP, then we knit 1СБН on them, inserting the hook under the second air loop, 1СБН, introducing the hook into the base of the second column of the first finger.

We knit the 3rd finger from the second: again 2VP, 1СБН in the 2nd VP, 1СБН at the base of the first finger.

I drew the knitting direction on the diagram with a pencil and circled the junction of the fingers.

When the fingers are tied, we continue to tie the chain with single crochets.

Tail

The dog's tail is a straight strip of 10 VP and single crochet stitches along it.

Spout

I knitted a nose with black iris like a small circle: three rows with an increase in the number of loops and another row without increases.

We unfold the ball so that the white belly is not in the center, but below.

We crush the nose circle with our fingers on three sides so that it acquires the shape of a triangle.

We pin the nose with pins to the ball, sew with a needle and thread, tighten the sides of the nose (tighten the “nostrils”).

I was also supposed to sew a bead on the nose, but I didn't have anything suitable at home, and I didn't buy a whole package for one.

We outline the places for the ears and sew them on.
Sew the front legs from the sides in the central part of the ball at the level of the ears.

Sew on the back of the tail.
I glued the eyes on the glue "moment", took them ready for toys, but you can cut and glue pieces of felt, and on them the pupils are half-beads.

No matter how I twisted my eyes, the dog's gaze still turns out to be sad. Only if you put her on her back, she begins to indulge and roll her eyes.
