How to make a Christmas tree out of candy and tinsel

In the second master class, the process of making a Christmas tree from sweets and tinsel will be described. To work, you will need several sheets of white or green cardboard, about a kilogram of sweets, tinsel, adhesive tape, a stapler and pva glue.

Then you need to glue the candies tightly to each other to get the bottom row, you need to glue the tinsel on top so that there are no gaps and the adhesive tape does not show through. To the top of the Christmas tree, you need to alternate a row of sweets and a row of tinsel. But it is advisable to make the top rows only from tinsel, since sweets make the Christmas tree heavier. In order to fix a star on top of the Christmas tree, you need to fasten the ends of five candy wrappers with a stapler.

It is quite easy to make a simple Christmas tree from any candies (truffles, chocolates, candies or even marmalades), you can even make it together with your baby.

First of all, you need to make a cone from thick cardboard - cut a semicircle and wrap it. Glue the edges with superglue, which glues securely and sets quickly. Cut the bottom of the cone into strips, bend it inward and stick a circle on top, which will help make the base as stable as possible.

Next, glue the cone with double-sided tape, remove both protective films. Next, glue a row of candies on the bottom. Candies must be pressed very carefully to the adhesive tape, otherwise they will quickly fall off. And in this case, it is desirable to choose light in weight. If you decide to use heavy chocolates, then they can be glued on with glue.


Decorate the top of the Christmas tree from sweets - glue a light star (made of wood or foam) on top, then mask the top with something suitable.

We remove the protective layer from the sticky part and press candy after candy to it by the "tail" of the wrapper. We try to place sweets more tightly so that the cardboard does not shine through.
4) When a row of sweets is laid out, we fix them with ordinary adhesive tape, going from above along the glued tails and grabbing cardboard over them.


5) We will cover the place of gluing with tinsel, wrapping it around the cone. Tinsel can also be fixed on double-sided tape in several places, and if it is not very thick, then it can be wrapped in two rows.
6) Similarly, we glue the second row of sweets on double-sided tape and fix it on top with ordinary tape. We fix the top with tinsel. We continue to alternate rows of sweets and tinsel.
7) Before wrapping the very top with tinsel, insert and fasten the “top” of the Christmas tree at the top of the cone: a bunch of 3-5 candies, a Christmas tree toy or a ribbon loop.

- floral organza;
- toothpicks;
- decorative satin ribbons and beads;
- metallized corrugated paper and mesh;

- hot glue gun;
- decorative cup (empty plastic container).

First, prepare a glass in which the candy tree will be installed later. Dilute a small amount of gypsum with water, mix thoroughly and fill a plastic cup halfway with the resulting mixture. Set in the center of the glass in a strictly vertical position a branch, previously painted with golden acrylic paint. The structure in this form should stand until the gypsum completely hardens (about a day).

Now the base of the Christmas tree needs to be pasted over with candies decorated with organza and ribbons. Why take two squares of fabric measuring 10 by 10 cm, a narrow brocade ribbon - 15 cm, a toothpick.


Using a hot glue gun, first glue both ends of the tape to the edges of the toothpick, fold the organza squares together, offset by 45 degrees, then burn the fabric in the center with a cleaning brush, drip a little more glue and squeeze the middle of the organza around the skewer. These elements will require quite a lot. After that, they need to be evenly stuck into the cone-base of the Christmas tree.

To decorate the Christmas tree, instead of Christmas balls, rounded sweets in a gold wrapper are used, which must be attached to a wooden skewer or toothpick using a thermal gun. You also need to wrap the candies in a net, for which cut out rectangular pieces, fold each in half lengthwise and wrap around the candy. Secure it with tape at the base of the candy.
Decorate several candies in this way and stick the free end of the skewer into the foam cone. Decorate the tops of the Christmas tree with a star.


After the gypsum has dried, glue the glass on top with a sheet of polysilk. Put pieces of foam inside the container, decorate the surface with sisal fibers on top. Place regular-shaped sweets in a bright wrapper around the cup. Decorate the top of the glass with beads and a bow.


Set the Christmas tree in a glass, for which prick its base on the branch. For better fixation, the free end of the branch must first be sharpened and smeared with glue.

4. Christmas tree of sweets and bottles of champagne (openable).


To create an original gift for the New Year you will need:
- a bottle of champagne;
- chocolates - 500 g;
- paper cone;
- hot glue gun;
- double sided tape
- rain
- decor: star, beads, beads and bows (optional)

Start by creating the cone you need to cover the neck of the champagne bottle. We will only glue the lower part of the decorated bottle with sweets, otherwise you will not be able to open it.

So, take a strip of double-sided tape and stick it along the entire height of the cone, starting from its crown. Then start wrapping the cone with rain. Attach an asterisk to the top.

First, glue the base of our cone to the stand strictly in the center. Preparing sweets.

I will show on the example of one candy, and you can do these actions for a dozen candies at once. We take a toothpick, wrap double-sided tape on it. Cut off the excess wrapper from the candy (if the tail is too big).

Slightly unwind the tail of the candy and insert a toothpick there with the glue end. Fix tightly with teip tape.

I wanted to combine two materials: floristic mesh and organza. To do this, we cut strips, and then into squares.

Now we connect the squares as follows:

Piercing the material, insert a toothpick into the center of the squares, wrap around the candy and fix with a stapler.

We immediately do this with a dozen candies. The size of the squares depends on the level of their location. At the lower level, we need more squares, the higher - the less.

Now we are preparing small Christmas balls. We remove the mount for the suspension, apply glue and stick a toothpick inside, wait for the glue to harden.

We fix it with teip tape and wrap it in the material just like sweets.

We take pliers and stick our candies alternately with balls into a cone.
