  • Registration satin ribbons;
  • Applying the technique decoupage.

Important! Before using any of these decorating techniques, you should first prepare your champagne bottles. To do this, you need to carefully peel them from the labels. This can be done by immersing the bottles in warm soapy water for 30 minutes. After that, you can easily remove any labels and brush the remaining glue from the glass with a brush.

Decoration with velvet fabric

For decoration in this style, it is better to choose velvet. It stretches well and fits around the bottle. It can be of any color. Most often, black is chosen, as it helps to play in contrast with white decor elements. In addition to fabric, for such a decoration you will need: threads, a needle, scissors, cardboard, pencil, glue, various elements of decoration (beads, rhinestones, ribbons, bows, flowers, beads).

Where to begin?

First of all, you need to prepare the patterns. They are made according to the size of the bottles. If you do not have such skills, you can find and print ready-made templates from the Internet. Next, you should follow the step-by-step instructions:

  1. Translate pattern onto fabric and cut;
  2. Sew the edges so that you get a bottle case. It is better to do this with a sewing machine, such a seam will be stronger. If not, hand-sew overlock stitches;
  3. Put on the finished bottle cover... If it does not hold well and slips, you can fix it in some places by gently lubricating it with glue;
  4. Decorate champagne with bows, beads, rhinestones... You can, for example, make a veil and a skirt for a bottle - a bride from airy white chiffon and elastic, and from velvet and cardboard - a headdress for the groom.

Remember! Glue decorative elements on velvet fabric, you need to carefully so that traces of glue are not visible.

Satin ribbon decoration

If done correctly, bottles of champagne will become an original decoration of your evening.

For this decorating technique, come in handy:

  • Satin ribbons, 2–2.5 cm wide, of any color;
  • Beads of different sizes;
  • Glue (it is better to use a glue gun);
  • Organza ribbon;
  • Lace;
  • Two bottles of champagne. One will be decorated in the form of a groom, the other - a bride.

Why should there be two bottles of champagne at a wedding? The fact is that according to the established tradition, one of them is drunk on the wedding anniversary, the second - at the birth of the first child.

How to decorate?

The bottles with champagne are decorated with satin ribbons according to the principles of the oblique inlay technique:

  1. The tape is applied to the place from which it is supposed to start the design (most often this is the neck of the bottle), measure and cut off the amount that is necessary for the initial round;
  2. Put some glue on the bottle and glue a cut piece of tape so that it wraps around with champagne and is higher in the back than in the front;
  3. On top of the first tape, the second is fixed, then a third, and so on until the whole bottle is wrapped in them.

    Important! Do not cut several pieces of tape of the same length at once, they will all be different, so they need to be cut only after preliminary measurement. The bottom edge of each glued line should hide the top of the next one. The ends of the tapes must be fixed in a strict order, on the same line where the ends of the initial turn were fixed;

  4. When all the tapes are secured bottles additionally decorate... The one that is conceived in the style of the groom, a tie is made from a satin ribbon, beads are sewn in the form of buttons. Lace is attached to the bride's bottle.

    Remember! It is not necessary to attach the satin ribbons to the bottle at an angle. If desired, you can glue them horizontally or combine both techniques, combining satin and organza ribbons, their different colors.

When you get to the middle of the bottle, you should have a blank like this:

3. After that, you have wrapped the fabric to the end, its end must be glued in the place where it will be approximately covered with a skirt. This will hide all the seams.

4. It's time to make the skirt. To do this, prepare a ribbon for a bow and collect it on a string. In this example, the length of the tape is 1.5 meters, but you can choose it yourself, make it longer or shorter.

* Prepare a bottle by decorating it as in the previous example.

Cooking a hat

1. Cut a circle out of a plastic bottle. The size of the hat will depend on the diameter of the circle.

2. Inside the circle you cut out, cut out another circle to create the part of the hat that hangs over the champagne. This means that you need to measure the diameter of the neck of the bottle, and make the inner circle a little larger to make the hat a little larger.

* Remove strips one at a time.

* Use a stapler to attach the cardboard to the plastic. Then use your imagination to decorate the hat. In this example, I used satin ribbon and lace.

How beautiful to decorate a bottle of champagne

It is customary to decorate a wedding with beautifully decorated bottles of champagne. In this master class, you will learn about another original way to decorate a bottle. Satin ribbon and your imagination will help you.

It is worth noting that such a decoration is suitable not only for a wedding table, but also for any other holiday, for example, March 8 or a birthday.

You'll need:

Silk fabric

Satin ribbons (2 colors, width of each ribbon at least 4 cm)

Golden braid

Oblique binding

Lining

1. Preparing a dress pattern. It consists of a bodice and a skirt.

First you need to do it on paper. As a guide, take the size of a bottle of champagne, and then transfer to the fabric.

* It is best to use thick satin and silk.

2. Sew along the edge of the satin ribbon after loosening the tension on the sewing machine.

* It is advisable to put bartacks at each end so that when working with ribbons, the tightened edges do not part.

3. Using tailor's pins, attach the tape to the bottom edge of the skirt. Make a zigzag stitch with a typewriter.

4. Decorate the entire skirt by alternating ribbons in two different colors (in this case white and burgundy).

* Leave no more than 3 cm between rows.

5. When you grind the tapes, it is worth making sure that the upper row completely covers the seam of the lower row.

* If you want to hide the stitching on the wrong side, you can use the lining. It is worth putting the skirt on the fabric, drawing the outline of the part and making the lining.

6. Fasten all parts using pins. It is also worth securing the edge with a machine stitch (see picture).

7. Now you need to trim the edge of the product with a bias tape.

How to decorate champagne with your own hands for a wedding

For a wedding table, you can prepare 2 colorful champagne bottles and tie them together with ribbons.

You will need:

Champagne (2 bottles)

Spray paint (white)

Satin ribbons (color white and lilac, length 2 meters)

Glass contour (lilac in this example)

Pastel

Stationery glue, duct tape or tape

Cyanopane adhesive

Polymer clay flowers

Double sided tape

1. Remove the stickers from the bottles by dipping them in cold water. Degrease the surface with alcohol or window cleaner and dry.

2. Use office glue to glue the paper decorations onto the glass of the bottle. You can use duct tape or tape instead, but in this case no glue is used (obviously). When you paint the bottle and remove the jewelry, there will be clean glass in its place.

In this example, I used square patterns, wavy stripes, blades of grass and butterflies.

3. Now the bottle needs to be painted. Using a can of white paint, paint the bottles in 3 coats (read the instructions for using the can carefully). You can try replacing the can of paint with acrylic paint.

Make sure that after applying a new layer, the previous layer is completely dry. To do this, you may have to leave the bottles to dry for a day.

4. Carefully remove the pieces of paper (electrical tape, scotch tape).

5. Time to decorate - glue flowers on clean glass, paint them with pastels and an outline. The latter can also draw arbitrary patterns.

6. Places that are empty can be filled with beads glued with cyanopane glue.

7. Tie a satin ribbon around the bottle. You can use double-sided tape underneath the tape to keep it from shifting. You can tie the ends with a knot and a bow.

The ends of the tape can be scorched over the candle. They can hang down to the bottom of the bottle.

How to decorate a champagne bottle with your own hands

You will need:

Satin ribbon (1 chocolate, 1 white; length 2m, width 3cm)

White satin ribbon (length 60cm, width 6cm)

Base fabric

1. First you need to cut out a dress, focusing on the size of the bottle.

2. Shuttlecocks need to be prepared from satin ribbons. To do this, place a stitch around the edge and pull together to create ruffles.

3. Sew the ruffles onto the skirt.

4. The first row should consist of the widest tape to be stitched.

5. From the center of the waistline, you need to draw an isosceles triangle (see picture).

6. Sew 3cm wide white ribbons around the perimeter of the triangle.

* To make everything work out neatly, the product should be fixed with pins, and only then start to grind.

7. Cover the edges of the triangle with a frill made from chocolate satin ribbon.

9. Use a wide white tape (6cm) to cover the gaps in the drapery. Over this tape also apply a narrow chocolate tape (3cm) and sew.

* If you pull on the end of the thread, then you will be able to pull off the tape and distribute the folds nicely and neatly.

* With the help of this part, you can hide non-draped places.

10. Prepare a satin ribbon (6cm) and sew it on the bodice of the dress. You can add sequins for beauty and sew on strings.

11. At the bottom, you can decorate the dress with white ribbon bows.

How to decorate a champagne bottle with ribbons

For a wedding or anniversary, the following champagne bottle decor will also suit you.

You will need:

Satin ribbon (3.5 m)

Gold brocade ribbon (1.5 m)

Glue (preferably a moment)

Scissors

Champagne bottle with gold foil

1. Prepare a bottle and tape and measure its approximate length for the first layer. To do this, attach the tape to the neck of the bottle.

2. When you have measured the length, cut the desired piece of tape and mark several points on it with glue.

4. Measure out the second piece of tape. It will be longer.

5. Proceed with the second piece as with the first piece of tape, i.e. mark the points with glue and glue. It is advisable that the ends of the ribbons are located in the same way, thus you will provide a beautiful and neat pattern.

6. Continue gluing the next two layers (3rd and 4th) in a similar manner.

7. Now prepare the gold ribbon. It must also be measured and glued. Make 2 rows (see picture).

8. Another piece of gold tape needs to be glued to the bottom of the bottle.

9. Prepare the blue ribbon again. Measure and glue to the bottom of the bottle with the seam at the back.

10. Now we cut off 7-8 blue strips of the same length and glue them also - so that the seam is at the back.

11. Here is a rear view. A not very neat seam has formed, which can be easily closed. To do this, prepare a clerical knife and use it to make a slit for the end of the tape that needs to be inserted there.

12. Apply some glue to the tip of the blue tape and slide it into the slot.

14. Pay attention to the middle of the bottle, there is an uncovered place. It is there that we attach another piece of golden tape. The corners that stick out in front need to be cut off.

15. Now you can decorate the front of the bottle - add bows, lace, beads, etc.

How to decorate champagne for the new year

You will need:

Thick aluminum foil

Medium wire

Decorations (artificial or natural spruce branches, tinsel, small New Year's toys, ribbons, beads)

1. First you need to wrap the bottle in foil. It is desirable to cover with several layers (from 2 to 4, depending on the thickness of the foil). Try to press the foil tightly against the bottle.

2. Now you need to attach the wire. Wrap it around the bottle, but not tightly so you can remove it later when you want to open the champagne.

3. Start with the most important thing - direct decoration. In principle, there are many options and they depend on your imagination and available materials.

You can take a few branches of the tree and use glue to glue them to the foil. This can be done in a spiral (see picture), and it is advisable to start from the base of the bottle.

Where foil is visible, ribbons, fabrics, wide braid or decorative paper can be attached. Places where glue may be visible can be hidden with tinsel.

4. Add beads, pine cones, toys, candy, small Christmas tree decorations, etc.
