How to sew a flower pillow. DIY decorative pillows flowers

At the request of many needlewomen, I publish a master class of a rose pillow. Elena Kravchenko from the city of Novomoskovsk
- the author of this gorgeous pillow. A rose pillow, carefully made according to her advice, will decorate the interior and will cause genuine admiration of friends and relatives.

The result should be a charming pillow in the shape of a lush rose.

1. First you need to make patterns of the rose pillow. Since this is not just a pillow, but a pillow in the form of a gorgeous flower, the petals should be voluminous. Therefore, each petal is cut out in two copies: one from beige fabric, the other from pink.

Patterns of the upper petals (small and large) with a fold

Curves of the lower petals (small and large) with a fold

The result should be 8 upper petals and 8 lower petals, 4 from each fabric (beige and pink).

2. You will also need two strips of fabric 7 cm wide and 1 m long.

3. Along the edge of the front side of the upper and lower petals of a smaller size, an edging is attached with the combination of the cuts.

4. Then, on the prepared petals with edging, their second halves are neatly stitched.

5. The petals are turned inside out on the face, the seams are aligned and all irregularities are removed.

6. The petals are bent in half and notches are made (to determine the center of the parts).

7. Finished petals are filled with padding polyester or other filler. A line is laid along the bottom cut. The rose pillow will turn out to be more lush if an opposite fold is laid on the upper part to match the central notches.

8. From the cut strips (7 cm x 1 m), 2 stripes are stitched together with the edging, turned out, filled with padding polyester and also stitched along the lower cut.

9. The resulting long synthetic winterizer tape is rolled into a roll, and a small rose is obtained. The bottom edge is sewn by hand. Thus, a self-made rose pillow will be very neat.

10. From the fabric of 2 colors it is necessary to cut out 2 more circles, with a diameter proportional to the size of the petals. In this case, it is equal to 32 cm.

11. The circles are connected with the front sides, laid on a synthetic winterizer and stitched together with it, just not to the end.

12. A small hole is left to turn this rose base inside out and then sew by hand.

13. On the resulting circle, you must first find the center, and then fix the two lower petals at the same distance from it, collecting their base into neat little folds.

14. Petals are attached for strength.

15. Then two more lower petals with the same folds are attached to the base.

16. And these petals are sewn with a machine stitch.

At the moment, many people would like to have a wonderful rose-shaped pillow in their possession. It is not so difficult to make it, the main thing is to have the appropriate motivation. Just take a look at the photo below. You will probably want to get started right away.

What do you need to work?

First of all, you will need a pattern for the pattern. Its standard size is 56 cm. You also need a satin crepe (2 parts in different colors). Requires synthetic winterizer and braid. Use a thick thread and sewing needle. That's all, such a small kit will be enough.

Lay the fabric in a couple of layers at once, with the front sides towards the top (each with the wrong sides). Transfer the petal pattern (it is best to lay it out as shown in the photo, strictly along the width of the fabric).

Now cut out the petals. In your case, you should get 5 small and 6 large. Take a look at the photo below.

Start sewing the braid in this order: divide the braid in half at a glance, and also sew with a simple stitch to the side, which will then become the bottom part. Try not to stretch the braid, after which it will give a visually wavy edge.

Flip the petal over and sew in the so-called "zigzag" tape. The seam is applied and slowly sewn on.

Now all the blanks for the bud are ready.

Fill everything with padding polyester. Just tear it off in small pieces and put it into the workpiece. At the end, sew the edge with a regular winding seam.

Now you can start assembling. Small petals should be with small ones, and large ones with large ones. The end of the latter must connect to the first. The tightening of the circles must be uniform.

At the next stage, cut out the leaves (the fabric is folded as usual, with the front side inward, since they will need to be turned out). The shape turns out to be different, although the height is not less than 30 cm, the width should be in the region of 16-18 cm. Apply them to the synthetic winterizer, cut it out, and also stitch it right away with the synthetic winterizer. Turn it out. It is better to select leaves of different colors. You just need to combine them. And the rest depends only on your imagination. ...

From the edge of the leaves, it is best to sew a zigzag seam with the largest pitch. In addition, the veins inside the leaf are stitched with a middle step. Sew everything to the circle (as in the photo). Each piece must be assembled by hand, use strong thread, basting seams, work only in large steps.

At the final stage, the two parts are connected. A small circle with a large one. That's all, now such a decorative pillow is ready. See how the product looks like.

Before the holidays, the torment begins with the choice of gifts. And so I want to surprise and surprise! What to do? I present to you a very easy way to surprise, delight and make you feel good! Sew such a rose pillow and delight is guaranteed!

How to sew a pillow "Rose"

Make a pattern template (photo with dimensions for a pillow 56 cm).

For one pillow you will need:
Crepe satin (2 different colors 90 cm each).
Sintepon 3-3.5 m (I like "Alaska" better).
The braid is not less than 2-2.5 cm in width, 15 meters (I use "braid").
Nylon threads are thick and ordinary threads in the color of the fabric.
A stitching needle, it is better to take a strong one with a large eye.

We lay out the fabric in two layers at once with the right sides up (both seamy sides inward). We transfer the petal pattern. We need to translate 6 large petals and 5 small ones. Cut out.

Here's what we get.

We begin to sew the braid in the following order: visually divide the braid in half and sew it with a regular stitch to the side of the fabric, which will then be the lower part of the petal. Try not to stretch the braid, then it will give the effect of a wavy edge.

Turn the petal over and sew the braid using a zigzag seam, carefully applying and covering the seam. 11 blanks of petals for a bud are ready.

We begin to fill with padding polyester. Finely chop the synthetic winterizer and put it into the blanks.
Sew the edge with a regular basting stitch.

We start assembling circles (small petals with small ones, large ones with large ones). We apply the second petal to the middle of the first and stitch it with strong nylon threads with a basting seam so that later it can be easily pulled off, then the third to the middle of the second, and so on. We connect the end of the last petal with the beginning of the first. We tighten it so that the tightening of the circles is uniform for both the large and the small circle.

In this way. The next step is to cut out the leaves (this time we fold the fabric as usual, with the front side inward, because then we will turn them out). The shape can be different, but the height is not less than 30 cm, and the width is not less than 16-17 cm. We put them on the synthetic winterizer, cut out and sew together with the synthetic winterizer. We turn it out. Your leaves can be of different colors (both in the color of the bottom fabric, as well as green and gold, it all depends on your imagination).

Sew along the edge of the leaves with a "zigzag" seam in the largest step, in the middle step, sew the veins inside the leaf. Sew to a large circle. We assemble all the parts by hand with a strong nylon thread with a basting seam in a not very large step.
The most interesting moment of joining the two circles has come. We sew with a double nylon thread using a basting seam, a little higher (about 2-3 mm) than the assembly thread. Make sure that no connecting seam is visible between the petals of the upper and lower circle. It is very important! The thread must be pulled very tight!

We cut out a strip (the middle of the rose) together with a padding polyester, but here we will have a padding polyester inside two layers of fabrics, because we will sew it in the same way as petals. This is what the finished middle of the rose looks like.

We collect our workpiece in the so-called bundle. And we sew with a basting seam to the upper parts of the petals of the small circle (grabbing 1-1.5 cm above the assembly points).

We cut out a circle in order to close the back part together with the padding polyester, tighten it a little in a circle. We fill with padding polyester. We sew with a basting seam to the petals of a large circle just above the tie point by about 2 cm. This way we achieve the strength of the fastening of the petals to each other.

Well, here's our lovely and ready! Isn't it beauty?

Flowers pillows will become a bright accent in the interior. See how a pillow in the shape of a rose, daisy and peony is sewn. Ideas for beginners and advanced ones are presented.

Pillows flowers for beginners

See how amazing such items look, add coziness and decorate the space.

For such work, you will need:
  • soft fabric that holds its shape, such as fleece;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • ball pen;
  • 4 round stencils of different sizes and one large;
  • zigzag scissors;
  • glue or needle and thread.
Attach a large stencil to the fabric, first cut one circle along it, then the second. Measure the arc length of the workpiece. This length will be the strip of fabric that you stitch between these circles, the part will become the side of the pillow.

Do not overlap, leave a hole to fill the pillow with padding polyester. Then sew it on your hands. Find the center of the piece to match the center of the circular patterns. First attach the small one, outline, then in turn, the other three. Zigzag the edges with scissors.

Here's how to make the next flower pillow. With your own hands, you have to cut the petals for her. On the one hand, they are semicircular, on the other, straight. They can be attached with glue or sewn on by hand with a needle and thread.

Start at the outside edge. Attaching the petal, on its straight part, which is opposite to the semicircular, make a fold. After completing the first row, go to the second. In this case, the petals of each subsequent row are located above these elements of the previous one.

You can decorate the center of the pillow by sewing or gluing a core made of fabric of a different color here. If you know how to knit, complete this element using this technique.

To make petals, cut 4 blanks from green fabric. Sew them in pairs along the edge. Sew along the veins to define them. Use zigzag scissors to scissor the edges and lay the pillow on your bed or sofa to add a touch of beauty to those parts of the room.

Such a product will be a wonderful gift, like the next one. The flower pillow will make your interior unique. If the previous model seemed a little complicated to you, check out a very simple option.

These pillows are made from two types of fabric. The base is created from dense plain cotton, and the decorations for it must be made from red fleece. To make it easier, check out the list of prerequisites, these are:
  • light cotton fabric, for example, linen;
  • red fleece;
  • black buttons;
  • needle;
  • threads;
  • filler synthetic winterizer.
From the equipment you will need:
  • two circles of different diameters for the template;
  • sewing machine;
  • scissors;
  • ruler;
  • crayon or pencil.
Decide on the size of the product. If you have a ready-made pillow 48 cm long and 30 cm wide, then the main fabric should be 100x32 cm in size (taking into account sewing allowances). Cut out such a rectangle from cotton fabric, place it in front of you. Let's start by decorating the front side.

To do this, you need to cut out circles of two sizes, you can circle a glass, lid or other round object.

We connect these blanks in pairs so that the small one is at the top of the large one. Attach them to the surface to be decorated, sew on a button in the center of each flower.

Using a ruler and chalk or pencil, draw straight lines, then sew along them with dark thread to indicate the stems of the flowers.

You can make the stems using thin braid or lace. These tapes need to be cut into pieces of a certain length and stitched on the hands or on a typewriter to the base.

It remains to fill the product with padding polyester, so that you get a flower pillow. It is very pleasant to create such things with your own hands.

Master classes for seamstresses with experience

After reviewing the previous ideas, it will be easy for you to implement the next one.

To do this, take:
  • red soft cloth;
  • compass or template for a circle;
  • scissors;
  • thread with a needle;
  • cardboard;
  • filler.
This pillow consists of two rectangles, what are their dimensions, such is its size in the finished form. But you need to cut the canvas with seam allowances on all sides.

Draw a circle on a piece of cardboard with a compass or with an object of the appropriate shape. Cut it out. When applying to fabric, circle with a ballpoint pen. Cut out these circles.

Now each needs to be folded in a certain way. To do this, take the first circle, connect its opposite edges to make a semicircle. Fold in half again to make a quarter circle. Now you have the most painstaking work - you need to sew these blanks on the outer part of the pillow.

If you don't have enough patience, only decorate the center strip.

Place the petals as close to each other as possible to create a composition like this.

Having folded the front and back of the pillow with the right sides to each other, grind from three sides. Turn out the product through the fourth. You will sew this side on your hands. You can sew a zipper here to be able to remove this beautiful case, wash it, then put it back on.

And here's how to make a pillow with your own hands so that it looks like a chamomile.

Take for needlework:
  • variegated plain fabric, matching color;
  • thread with a needle;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • scissors.
Such a flower pillow is good because it does not require a sewing machine. Therefore, even if you do not have such a unit, you can still sew this wonderful thing.

For five petals, you will need 10 identical blanks.

If you want the front and back of the product to have different colors, and you get, as it were, two pillows, then cut out five petals from the fabric of one color, another 5, taking another.

Stitch each petal on the wrong side, leaving a gap at the bottom. Turn the blank out onto the front side, fill with padding polyester.

Cut out a circle of fabric that is 2 times the diameter of the core. After sewing this circle along the edge with a basting stitch, tighten, but not yet completely, but so as to fill the core with padding polyester. Now you can tighten the thread, tie a couple of knots to secure it.

Here's how to make the pillow next. On the front side, sew the bottom of the first petal, without removing the thread, sew it with the second. So sew all the petals in a circle. Place the center of the flower in the center, fix it. Flip the pillow over. Sew the second core here. An exciting job completed with a great result!

If you wish, you can make another daisy flower pillow.

This sample has one-piece petals. Enlarge this pattern. Where the dotted lines are indicated - the junction of the petals. For the front and back blanks, identical parts must be cut out of the fabric. Do not forget to cut out the core of the flower from fabric, which differs in color. You will sew it into the center of the chamomile on one side, on the other you need to attach the same detail.

Fill the product with padding polyester through the remaining hole, sew this gap.

This is what the pillow will look like after you make it.

This can be put on a chair to make it even more comfortable to sit in. Flowers will add bright accents and remind you of a colorful summer in the cold season.

Rose decor element: master class

When creating such things, it is impossible to forget about the queen of flowers. Rose will give wonderful ideas, for example, this one.

The petals are very easy to cut. They are in three sizes and are made of squares. We cut everything so that we get pentagons. Connect the opposite lower corners, fix with a stippler or with a needle and thread.

You can glue the petals together, but then this pillow cannot be washed. Cut a circle of the required diameter, we will sew the largest petals to it first, to the outer edge. As you understand, you can also glue them or attach them with a stipener.

We decorate the second tier with medium-sized petals. The smallest will be closer to the center.

Using zigzag scissors, cut out the circle to be attached to the center.

Such a pillow is not stuffed with padding polyester. But if you want, you can do this by stitching another circle on the back side, put the filler inside.

You can make a rose in a different way by twisting a strip of fabric or lace in the shape of its petals.

To make a pillow like this, take:
  • fabric, lace or ribbons to match;
  • synthetic winterizer;
  • pins;
  • scissors.

Cut a circle out of the fabric to match your pillow. You can decorate it with a strip of the same material. But then you need to cut a tape out of it, fold it in half lengthwise, and stitch it up. Such work is more troublesome, so it is better to decorate the pillow with ready-made lace, satin or cotton braid.

Begin to grind it to the workpiece of the circle, from its outer part, gradually moving towards the middle. In this case, the tape is located in a spiral.

How the rose pillow is made, the master class tells further. Having issued its front part, you need to attach a second circle, combining these blanks with the front sides. Sew these two parts, leaving a gap for stuffing the product with padding polyester.

Sew up this edge and admire how wonderful the rose pillow turned out.

But these are not all ideas, look what other similar products can be.

If you liked this flower pillow, then take a fabric of a suitable color. From it you need to carve out a few details.

The core consists of two parts. Also, each petal should have a back and front side.

Please note that the inner and outer dimensions are different in the pattern. This is necessary in order to form folds at the bottom of the lower petals, then these details will look realistic.

  1. Cut out the core of the flower, we will not fill it with padding polyester. This blank consists of an external and an internal part, we sew them on the wrong side, we turn this part out.
  2. Let's take care of the petals. Fold the inside and outside with the right sides, stitch on all sides except the bottom. Fill the petal with a padding polyester, also decorate others.
  3. Sewing the first one at the bottom on the hands, attach the second to it on the side. Sew it down below. Five petals make up the lower tier, and four the upper.
  4. Insert the twisted core into the center, also fix it with a thread and a needle.

How to make a peony flower pillow from fabric?

A flower pillow can be not only in the form of a chamomile, a rose, but also resemble other wonderful plants.

Sew on the petals while decorating a regular small pillow or sew a new one. To do this, they must first be cut out and cut out. The petals resemble a semicircle. For each you need 2 blanks, which are sewn in pairs on the wrong side.

Now they need to be attached to the pillow or to the rectangle of the fabric from which you will sew. If you are decorating a ready-made pillow, then you will have to grind it on your hands. If you are sewing a new one, then use a typewriter.

We start with the outer circle. Lay out 8 petals, stitch them in, then complete the second tier, it consists of 6 blanks. Lay them in a checkerboard pattern, moving towards the center to fill this entire part with petals.

Let's make the core. To do this, you need to cut out several circles of the same size, fold each in half, again in half, fixing, sew. Now these blanks are grinded together, they should fit snugly together.

See what a wonderful creation you get.

If you liked the peony master class in which it turned into a pillow, then check out another one, here the flower is made not of white, but of red fabric.

For needlework you will need:
  • red and other colored fabric;
  • Cup;
  • scissors;
  • pencil.

The glass is needed so that the bottom is smaller than the neck. If there is no such thing, then take two different volumes.

Attach them to the red canvas, cut out 30 large and 20 small circles.

Draw a large circle on the fabric that will become the pillowcase - this is the size of the peony. When folding large workpieces in half, stitch them to it. Then, in a checkerboard pattern, sew on other petals.

You just have to sew the pillowcase to the end and enjoy one more finished work. You can also make other household items out of thin white felt.

Flower pillows are a wonderful decoration that can make a design unique, highlight a style or highlight the dignity of a particular piece of furniture. In principle, this is far from a newfangled trend. But pillows have come a long way before becoming a full-fledged work of art - made in the shape of a flower and at the same time sufficiently functional.

Flower pillows - history, idea and ecology

Soft pillows and mattresses were invented in ancient Greece. At that time, the sewing technique became seriously complicated, dyes appeared. The well-to-do class could make any orders, experiment, compete in beauty and pretentiousness. Of course, this also applies to the pillows. Some products were so good that even a person with developed taste could confidently call such practical soft jewelry a work of art. Smartly crafted and enriched with expensive materials, the pillows were a great product. In the 5th century BC, almost every wealthy Greek considered it a duty to have at least a few unusual, expensive pillows - and the size, type and method of decoration could vary greatly.

Pillows in the form of flowers or decorated with flowers are another manifestation of human imagination and skill.

Artisans of that time had not yet experimented with form (in principle, the simplicity and consistency of forms is characteristic of Hellenism). The pillows were rectangular or square. Pillowcases were made from durable fabric or leather.

The Arabs could easily "argue" with the Greeks. In their countries, graceful and artsy, the demand for pillows was even greater. In addition, the traditions of everyday life have played a significant role. The palaces of the sultans were filled with chic, embroidered and ornamented pillows with fringes and tassels.

Our prototype of the modern pillow is the "dumka" - the object of decoration of the room. They have now evolved into the familiar sofa cushions. Dumkas were made of silk, respawn, velvet. Decorated with cutwork, embroidery or appliqués.

These pillows will be a great decoration for your bedroom or sofa in the living room.

The type of pillows was largely determined by time constraints: the style familiar to the eye, available materials with tools, religious and state rules, and the economic feasibility of manufacturing.

Today, the idea of creating a decorative or decorative and practical pillow in the form of a flower is born in a large number of different housewives under a variety of conditions. Someone's hobby is sewing, the immediate task is to sew a pillow for a child, and in front of his eyes is a flower bed. Someone is engaged in the sewing business and racks their brains for a long time over the expansion of the product line, or the creation of a unique product that can distinguish the manufacturer from competitors. Someone sees plants characteristic of a certain area (climatic, protected area) - and lights up with the desire to transfer their beauty to the creation of their own hands.

Fortunately, the eco-movement is becoming more and more popular. Our humble journalistic team is no exception. Taking care of the environment is not only possible, but also necessary. This is the direct responsibility of every sensible housewife. The pillow flower should not harm the owner and others. Although, in general, creating something for the home interior with allergens or hazardous ingredients is at least stupid.

The market offers a fairly large number of ecological, easy-to-use and easy-to-use options. Tapestries. Sintepon. Silk. Cotton. Embroidery threads. And a lot of other stuff. It is relatively easy to choose such a set so that the pillow flower turns out to be durable (it has served for more than 10 years), renewable (typical colors and textures that can be replaced if some element is worn out) and can be easily erased (by hand, in the machine, in cold and hot water).

We offer a master class on making a pillow from thin felt

At the very end, cut out a few circles and form the core of the flower.

DIY flower pillows are not such a difficult task. Obviously, here you need to adhere to the general principles of needlework. For example, start with sketches and sketches in order to choose the most successful idea and think over the little things in advance. Or write a production plan so that it does not turn out that the product does not hold its shape, because one of the stages is skipped and the internal elements are not stitched to the base. In general, this task can be performed by both an amateur and a professional - of course, the results will be strikingly different. Yes, to make a really cool flower pillow, you need sewing experience, direct experience of creating such pillows, a developed sense of taste and perseverance with patience. A! Another point that should not be put in last place is high-quality consumables with tools. Although, some manage to make real masterpieces from scraps.

You can also make a large flower that can be used to decorate any pillow.

Glue the petals and press them down with some weight

the Rose

can be of almost any size. But we will stop at about 30 centimeters in diameter. In principle, you can keep within 5-7 hours of work. You will need fabric for leaves and petals, filler, threads and scissors.

Make petal patterns. Six for the desired size - about larger to smaller.

Make patterns for the leaves. They can be flat or three-dimensional. You can make one sheet, you can make two or more. At your request. Flat ones need to be decorated with veins. Bulky - stuff very carefully so that the filler spreads evenly in shape and does not make them too thick.

You need 18 petals. Don't forget to sew them over. Then turn onto your face. Drive the filler tightly into the middle. Sew about one centimeter from the edge.

For such a rose, you need a sewing machine.

Need a round base for your pillowcase ...

... and a long tape

You can experiment with color

Sew the 6 largest petals overlapping one after the other. The petals should converge in the center and diverge on the outside.

Try to achieve an appealing, even circle of petals.

Do the same with 6 medium and 6 small petals. This will result in 3 circles. Sew the smallest one with the middle one. And the middle one - with a lot. Start from the bottom and carefully add stitches to the middle of the petals so that the overall shape gathers and rises up, resembling a rose.

Stitch the leaves on the bottom. At the end, you need to cut a circle, preferably from a green cloth (imitation of the base of the bud). Stitch and sew on the bottom.

Now we need to make the central part. To do this, cut out a circle to a suitable size. It can be of a more delicate color than petals. Sew in a circle and pull off. Fill with padding. Then sew in the center. The hardest part is to attach the center firmly and gracefully. So that the whole composition is as close to a flower as possible.

DIY flower pillow- as we already wrote, a feasible task. But! If you have no experience ... Don't think that the very first rose will be flawless. Many housewives have been improving their skills for years, choosing the right colors and textures, inventing little know-how to make the product delicate and attractive. In general, please be patient.

And if this form factor does not lend itself even after a lot of repetitions, try the simpler option.

You can sew these lovely pillows with this simple pattern.

chamomile

You will need a fabric of the right colors: a green base, white petals, a yellow core and green leaves. Choose the material to taste, there are no special recommendations, someone prefers velvet, someone cotton, someone fleece, someone high-quality synthetics. Get chalk (marker), scissors, and good fabric glue. It can be done in 3-6 hours.

First you need to cut out two circles. Any size. From a small ottoman to a 30 "pillow. Sheathe or assemble with glue around the edges. Leave a hole for packing. With chalk or a marker, draw a small central circle for the core and three diverging circles for the petals. The chamomile pillow looks very decent with three layers of petals, but you can be lazy and make only 2, or on the contrary - try and make a whole bunch of luxurious petals.

It is quite easy to sew such colored daisies. Below are the patterns and photos of the work

Cut out four leaves. If you really need it, take a sample, but practice shows that the "by eye" method is enough. Add veins (you can gently assemble the grooves with glue, you can sew on the top, you can make an applique, etc.).

Stuff the pillow with filler and stitch (seal) the hole. It is advisable to cut off the remaining edges in a zigzag, to make them more attractive and decorative. Because the products will most likely turn over - and the careless edges of the base will cut the eye.

Sew or glue the leaves to the base.

Another chamomile, this time in the form of a pouf

Now cut out a lot of petals. Here, too, the "by eye" method is perfect. They can be wide or narrow, round or sharp - it depends on your wishes and preferences. It is desirable to make the lower (outer) layers larger. And the upper (inner) ones are smaller. For a good result (from three layers), you will need at least 50 pieces of petals.

Now begin the patient and painstaking work of gluing the petals. Start from the bottom layer. It is most convenient to draw a line along the bottom of the petal. Do not forget to collect them a little in the center of the base (at the point of joining) in order to give a characteristic volume.

As soon as you deal with the outer circle, move on to the next, then to the next. If petal sizes require, add drop by drop in the center on top of the lower layers to better bond with the upper ones.

This chamomile is very easy to do.

Keep adding petals until the stage is complete. Do not forget that you need to distribute in advance: the largest on the bottom layer, medium on the middle, small on the top.

The core remained. Cut out a lot of yellow circles and zigzag each one. You need to drop glue into the center of the circle and raise the edges so that they gather, and drown the glued part inward. You will have many elements that need to be glued evenly and tightly in the middle. It is important to fill the center section evenly.

Flower pillows (master class) from any famous seamstress will help remove white spots in the description of the manufacturing process. This product in the shape of a chamomile can be recommended for beginners. This is one of the simplest schemes. If you get used to it, and it turns out decently, try to move on to more complex schemes. For example, the rose already described above. Or poppy.

Poppy

It is advisable to choose crepe satin. Filler - optional. You will also need nylon thread, ordinary threads, fabric or thick threads for decorating leaves, fabric for the middle of a flower, scissors, a needle, and a satin or black suede ribbon (about 5 centimeters wide).

starts with patterns - 12 for large petals (about 24 centimeters), and 12 for small ones (about 18 centimeters). 4 for green elements (up to 20 centimeters wide). 2 spacers for leaves. Then pieces of leaves and petals are sewn together (leave holes for filler). Iron and twist over your face.

Be sure to make veins on the leaves (with stitching or thick thread).

Such densely planted poppies can be used to decorate a pillow of any shape and color.

You will need two rectangles of fabric for your pillowcase ...

... and the bright red fabric from which the poppies will be made

Fill the petals with filler. Sew up the holes.

Then, with a nylon thread, large petals are gathered together. In the lower part, one petal should overlap the other, about a third of the width. The petals must be collected in a circle and fixed. The hole in the middle should be about 10 centimeters.

Sew the second (smaller) tier in the same way. Put it on the bottom one and sew in a circle.

Sew the leaves one by one from below to the first tier.

Take a green cloth and make a pattern for the core (with padding). Zigzag the veins. Manually assemble the line, pull it off not completely, fill the filler into the hole and pull it off completely.

Another option for decorating your pillow with bright poppies

Cut the black tape into strips (making an indent from the edge up to 1 centimeter). Sew the ribbon along the edge to the middle part of the flower. Insert it inside and sew on the back (bottom). Sew the front side of the center carefully to the petals. Use a blind stitch, carefully match the color of the thread.
