What could be more beautiful and practical in summer than an openwork hat. Crocheting it is not so easy, but not at all difficult if you figure it out and practice a little. Therefore, it always makes sense to try to update your wardrobe and accessories collection.

Hat concept

Before we start crocheting a hat, let's figure out what it is. We know that the hat has three parts: the top base, the middle and the brim. Each of these parts is knitted in its own way.

The top is essentially a round napkin. It must expand so that the canvas is in the same plane. A slight bulge is allowed for the hat, since the human head is not flat.

The middle part is a cylinder, the circumference of which is equal to the circumference of the head. Therefore, it fits without expansion.

The brim of the hat is the most interesting detail. They stand beautifully in a circle from the head, creating reliable protection for her from the sun, rain or wind. But to achieve such a state is not easy. Next, we'll look at one trick on how to achieve this.

For all the complexity of work on a product, all its parts are almost always performed without breaking the thread. Therefore, it is necessary to have some skill for the hat to be really sophisticated.

Exquisite Hat Pattern

Here is a beautiful crochet summer hat. Its scheme is not so simple at first glance. But upon closer analysis, it turns out that there is nothing complicated in it.

The central part is knitted like a napkin. The increase in the number of loops occurs in each row by adding one double crochet to each petal. This part ends with a row of blank cells.

Then the middle begins. With the transition to it, the pattern also changes. Now we knit small "crosses" instead of petals. In this case, you need to pay attention to the fact that there is no increase in the number of loops. Until the end of this part, the canvas remains unchanged in width.

The last stage is the fields. This is the most crucial moment. Here it is necessary to gradually expand the knitting so that the margins are in the horizontal plane. This can be done by adding one air loop to the arches through the row. This will not affect the appearance of the pattern, and the product itself will take on the desired shape.

And when the product is ready, it turns out that the fields do not want to keep their shape on their own. What to do?

Little trick

Previously, a crocheted hat was starchy. But this is inconvenient. And not every woman knows how to starch today. So let's use a little trick. And it is called - fishing line.

Specialty stores have a large section line. It is designed for catching the largest fish. That's exactly what we need. When work on the hat is completed, in the last row, using single crochets, we tie the required amount of fishing line. At the end of the row, connect both ends of the fishing line with a thin layer of tape. This will prevent the ends from diverging.

After such an operation, the fields will not fall. If the hat has a very large brim, it makes sense to weave this line several times. It will add extra rigidity to the hat. But now it is necessary to treat it carefully so as not to damage the stiffeners, otherwise it will ruin the shape of the product.

White and blue hat with a flower

Almost all summer crochet hats have openwork patterns. But they are not always intricate. Sometimes you can use one of the basic patterns to create a real masterpiece. In the presented model, both upper parts are connected with ordinary double crochets.

The top, obviously, is also connected with a continuous canvas, but it is possible that there is a beautiful floral motif there. Although this is unlikely, given the fact that the main decorative function is performed by a lush guipure flower.

The brim of the hat is tied with ordinary fans. Only at the base did they consist of two double crochets, and towards the edge their number increased to four. In the course of knitting, the number of intermediate air loops also increased.

A fishing line is woven into the fields three times to add additional rigidity to the product. This makes sense, since the brim of the hat is very wide, and adding extra reinforcement just at the edge won't give the desired effect.

Children's panama hat

The brim of the hat does not always have to be in a horizontal position. Sometimes it is possible for them to hang down a little. In this case, we get a panama hat. This is also a crochet summer hat. Only there is nothing complicated in it.

It fits simply. First, we make the top from the double crochets. In this case, we can do or not do an intermediate air loop. The main thing is that the top is as flat as possible.

When knitting a panama, it is worth remembering that its fields will necessarily hang over your eyes. So don't make them too big. Otherwise, your child will not see anything. Plus, this can cause the development of strabismus. Therefore, it is better to save a little than overdo it.

Classic hat

Above, we looked at how to crochet a hat with wide brim and openwork patterns. But there is another model unusual for this type of needlework. It is she who will now learn to weave.

Create the top in the form of a drop. To form a clear transition from the top to the middle, we knit a row of single crochet stitches in a circle with purl loops. That is, we knit not as usual, but from the seamy side, so that we get a scar. Further, without additions, we make out the middle part until the desired depth of the hat is reached.

The fields are knitted with the same single crochet, but with a gradual expansion. At the edge, you do not need to widen a couple of rows so that the fields twist a little towards the top.

But the whole secret of success lies in one trick: the knitting should be as dense as possible so that the product keeps its shape. To do this, take a hook that is not the size indicated on the yarn label, but 1-2 sizes smaller. Thanks to this, the loops will be as tight as possible, and the knitting itself will be dense and resistant to shape change.

Crocheted summer hats with flowers - many schemes, ideas and mk

Here are collected schemes of beautiful openwork hats and color schemes for them. There is also material on how to starch and dry these hats.

Threads - begonia, hook 2.1. 1 hank was enough.
I'll try to write how I knitted (from memory)
I tied a strip of sirloin mesh around the circumference of the head (4 rows) - in a circle - the bandage turned out like this
Then she attached a thread and tied the strip on top with a fillet. I tried it on for my daughter. The holes were large.Tied them with fans, but at the same time I adjusted the pattern so that it did not expand, but vice versa
Fields:
When going to the fields, I tied 1 row of PRS (I always knit 2-3 rows of PRS, but here I did not knit and the hat does not fit so tightly to the head - I did this deliberately so that the hat was freer at sea)
then 3 rows of arches from 5 century. P.
And then the fans according to your favorite scheme

Then she tied a double ring of the Regilin sbn, then with a crustacean step.

Hat "Little Lady"

schematic and description of the side part

Bottom and crown scheme on exhaust gas 49-50 cm.

My yarn

My connected 13 rows of bottom:

We knit the same up to the 13th row for all sizes.
* * *
ATTENTION:
When knitting a pattern in those places where we stick the hook into the column, it is advisable to use the "deep" sticking method. The hook must be inserted not under the two upper half-loops of the column, but into the body of the column itself. This method will not allow the pattern to shift when we knit the crown.
* * *
Starting from the 15th row for all sizes we knit according to the scheme. Rows 15-20 are repeated two more times.
They differ from the 15-20th only in the last row. Instead of CH, I knitted RLS.
We also knit rows 33-38 according to the scheme.
38th row - sc in each column.
The fields start from the 39th row.

Finish with the CROWN and insert the FIRST regelin equal to the circumference of the head. I made one vein. This is where we complete the work of the RLS. We steam it off.

We knit the FIELDS of the cap.
In the 39th row, we make increments in every 3rd column,
In the 45th row - in every 4th, in the 51st - in every 5th.
The point is that in each row with increments, you need to add 56 CH (7 reports). That is, in the 39th 168/56 = 3, in the 45th (168 + 56) / 56 = 4, etc.

STRENGTHENING FIELDS.

After the last row of fields is connected, they need to be well steamed.
On the horizontal surface of the table, the fields should be in the form of a flat circle.

We take the SECOND regilin (TWO veins at once) and tie it to RLS. The length of the regilina is not measured in advance !!! Just then they cut off the excess.
We spread the fields well.
Steaming!
We tie the same RLS row again. And we tie the last row with a "crustacean step" across the column.
On the plane, the fields should still have the shape of a flat circle.
Once again we steam the fields with an iron through a damp cloth !!!.
To give rigidity, I used SALVITOSA, which is used in felting.
Dried in a balloon.

DECORATION.
It must be done removable-on a pin or button.

Chamomile knitting is very simple.
Dial a chain of 2 c. n. In the first of them, knit 8 half-columns and close in a circle in the 1st half-column.

When the whole chamomile is ready, tie each of its petals in series with connecting posts. This will allow them to hold their shape and not fold.

For the middle of the daisies, we make small pompons using a regular table fork.

We wind a thread on the teeth of the fork. Then we tie it up with an additional thread in the middle, remove it from the fork and tighten the knot. Then fluff and cut. Sew on to the middle of the chamomile.

Two daisies are small, and one is slightly larger. For her, the scheme is the same, only for the petals we dial not 7, but 9 c. P.

I made an ornament on a button-fastener for bags.
We need a button and a knitted circle - this is what the daisies will be sewn to:

In finished form:

We attach the button to the hat

Scheme (only for petals):

Legend: the sketched points on the diagram are the loop that is on the hook; the numbers in brackets are the number of loops that we pull out from the connected column (in order to make it easier to count the loops)

Blind (connecting) loop

I knit from Soso threads (50gr = 240m) with a regular crochet hook No. 1.5 (no handle)

Step-by-step photo of the process:
1. In a sliding loop we knit 6 single crochet stitches

we tighten the thread, we close it in a circle.

2.Catching only the back half of the loops, we knit 11 single crochet stitches (1 stbn in the first half and 2 stbn in the following), join in a circle.

The half-loops of the smaller circle will be needed for the upper petals.

3. We knit arches for the lower petals: we collect 5 air loops (v. P), skip 3 loops of the circle, fasten in the fourth; we repeat 2 more times, we fasten the last arch in the loop with which the first arch was tied.

4. We begin to knit the first lower petal: We collect 4 c. p. If you turn the knitting a little, the back (purl) jumpers will be visible

there is one loop on the hook (filled point on the diagram), from the purl jumpers we pull out one loop (4 sticks), the last one is pulled out from under the arch (extreme stick)

the hook should have 6 loops

5. Close the row: grab the working thread and knit in pairs on the hook (we captured the working thread and pulled it through 2 loops, grabbed the working thread and pulled it through the next 2 loops). We got the first row (connected column)

6. If you turn the knitting a little, the purl jumpers will be visible,

We knit one in. P.; we pull out the loops from the purl jumpers (1 on the hook + 5 from the jumpers + 1 from under the arch = 7 loops).

We close the row in pairs.

7. Next, we begin to cut the loops. In the sixth row, we begin knitting with a blind loop (we insert the hook into the first jumper, grab the slave thread and pull it through the loop on the hook). from further jumpers we pull along the loop and the last one from under the arch

We close the row in pairs.

To finish the first lower petal, we knit a blind loop in each purl, and one under the arch

We make one blind loop in the next arch and begin to knit the second lower petal in the same way as the first. After tying all three arches, it will turn out like this

To go to the top petals, do 1 c. n insert the hook into the half of the loop of a small circle and knit a blind loop

On a small circle, you need to impose 3 arches from 4 c. n (2 arches for the petals and 1 for the core)

8. We collect 5 c. n and knit the first connection. top petal column

First top petal:

Two petals

We tie the upper petals with single crochet columns (I laid a thin wire along the contour to better keep their shape). The lower petals were tied with stbn (without wire). It turned out like this

We add beads, you can use small beads, and admire

Starching hats

1. We wash the hat in warm water (30-40 degrees). For washing white caps, I use a bleaching detergent powder, for colored ones - powder for colored clothes.

2. Cooking starch. To do this, pour 2 tablespoons of starch into a bowl and dilute it with 1/2 cup of cold water (to avoid the formation of lumps). Then pour boiling water, about 1 - 1.5 liters, stirring constantly. The mixture should be thick and transparent. Leave to cool.

3. The washed caps are thoroughly starch, wring out (without twisting), removing excess starch.

4. For drying the caps, I use ordinary balloons, having previously inflated them to the desired size.

5. In the process of drying, I periodically give the fields the desired shape, iron the fields of openwork hats through a layer of fabric.

Crochet Green Hat

Crochet openwork hat

Summer pink crochet hat

An openwork hat will serve you not only as protection from the sun, but also as a beautiful decoration for your head. The hat is crocheted with an openwork and at the same time quite dense pattern. Size 56
For knitting a summer hat, it is better to choose a light-colored yarn with a 100% cotton content. We need 100 g of yarn with a thickness of 125m / 50g and a hook number 2.5.

The hat is knitted according to the pattern, starting with a ring of 8 air loops. From the 1st to the 11th row, the bottom of the hat is formed, from the 12th row we begin to knit the sides of the cap, knitting the 20th row, try on, if it seemed to you that the base is not deep enough, knit 2 more rows, repeating the 19th and 20th th row. Next comes the tight binding of the edge in 3 rows of Art. b / n. From the 24th row, we begin to knit the fields of the hat. In the last row, you can tie st. b / n wire or regilan (whalebone) for greater tension of the fields.

After finishing the strapping, starch the hat, pull it onto a shape suitable for its volume and dry it. At your request, since the pattern of the hat is quite dense and keeps its shape well, it will be enough to slightly starch the brim of the hat in a quick way: dilute a spoonful of starch in a glass of cold water, wet the fields with this solution and iron them with an iron through cheesecloth until dry.

Summer hat (adult)

In order for the cap not to expand downward, turning into a beret, the parts highlighted in red in the diagram must be knitted without air loops!

Hat with flower petals

Summer air hat "MAK".

The hat is tied in a set to the purse.
It was for this hat that the MAC was knitted. So by itself the name of this hat was "born".

The poppy is tied with elongated loops and tied around the edge with a crustacean step. For decoration, black beads are tied into poppy stamens.

The bottom of the hat. The beginning of knitting.

For the bottom of the hat, I took a motive from the MOD Magazine as a basis.
Appendix No. 8 (477). In the course of knitting, I changed the motive to fit the sizes I needed.

To shape the edge of the hat, I tied a line.

The hat is tied. It remains to give it shape ...

The shape of the hat was given by gelatin.
1.5 packs of gelatin were diluted in a glass of warm water. Dissolve the gelatin over low heat. I cooled down a little and soaked the hat in it.
Then the hat needs to be wrung out slightly and pulled over the mold until it dries completely.

GIRL'S HAT WITH A HOOK.

Crochet summer hat.

Size: 54
To knit a hat you will need:
100 g cotton white yarn;
20 g cotton yarn yellow;
hook No. 0.85. DESCRIPTION
Start knitting with one chamomile according to pattern 1 and pattern 2.
According to scheme 1, make the core of the flower with a yellow thread. Next, tie 12 petals according to scheme 2 with a white thread. Connect all the petals as follows: when the last petal is made, then, without breaking the thread, take the 1st petal and tie it on three sides of the st.b / n (one long side, rounding and the second long side). So connect all the petals together in series one by one. When the whole chamomile is tied along the contour, complete the second row of st.b / n tying. Sew the core in the center of the chamomile. Tie the chamomile petals around the edge:
1 p. - 10v.p. between the petals, 2 st.b / n along the top of the petal;
2 p. - 3 vp rise, knit a sirloin mesh, alternating 2 vp. and 1 st.s / n along the entire row;
3 p. - 3 vp rise, 2 st.s / n under the arc of the previous row, 1 st.s / n in the column of the previous row, 2 vp, 1 st.s / n in the same column of the previous row, 2 st.s / n in the next arc of the previous row, 1 tbsp. s / n in the column of the previous row, 2 vp. and so on, repeat to the end of the row;
4 p. - sirloin mesh (as 2p.). Knit the crown of the hat with a pattern according to scheme 3. The number of rows depends on the desired size of the hat. Tie approximately 16 p.
For the brim of the hat, tie 11 daisies. These daisies have 9 petals. You need to connect 11 daisies for the fields in the process of knitting them. To make the daisies fit correctly in a circle, make a pattern to fit the circle and connect the daisies on this pattern. When all 11 daisies are connected and connected to each other, proceed to connect the fields and crown of the hat. Choose a method that is convenient for you and connect the parts with a crochet or needle and thread. Along the edge of the cap, connect the petals to each other with chains from ce. and st.b / n.

An openwork summer hat with wide brim is simply irreplaceable in the wardrobe of the fair sex at any age.
