Children's answers

You are great today! Thank you very much for such beautiful work. And now I will treat you with fresh vegetables and fruits!

Ripe fruits and vegetables are a reminder of the hot summer, which is why all children love them so much. Fruit crafts always turn out to be very beautiful, juicy and bright. But there is one problem - such crafts quickly deteriorate and cease to bring joy. There is a way out of this situation: paper fruit applique! The application "Fruit on a plate" can be done in any technique, some of which are presented in this master class.

Children of any age - in the younger, middle, senior or preparatory group - can easily cope with such applications. In addition, the technique of such applications for children in the middle group and in the older group will allow them to develop fine motor skills of their hands, as well as quickly remember the names, type and colors of their favorite fruits.

Let's start simple

To make the Fruit on a Plate applique, we need:

  1. Glue;
  2. Paper plate;
  3. Colored paper;
  4. Scissors.

First you need to draw the fruit patterns. In this master class, we suggest using fruits such as grapes, plums, apples and pears.

We cut out templates for each figure. Fold it in half and then in half again. Apply the pear pattern and outline it. It remains only to cut it along the contour. One fruit will need four parts.

When the pieces are cut, they need to be folded in half, thus making 4 halves of each fruit. Then we glue the halves so that the second halves remain empty, as shown in the photo.

So we get voluminous fruits, which we "put" on our plate. All that remains is to cut out the green leaves and glue them to the fruit.

Surprise vase

To make the "Fruit bowl" applique, we need the same elements as for the previous "Fruit on a plate" applique, namely: cardboard, glue, colored paper, scissors.

We also cut out fruits from paper folded in four times, glue the halves to get three-dimensional figures of fruits.

You will also need a vase cut. We make it in the form of a half oval. First, glue the vase figure to the cardboard base.

Then we glue our fruits on top of the vase to give the impression that they are lying inside.

Then we complement the applique with hand-drawn fruit twigs, and decorate the vase as we like. In this master class, flowers were used made with a figured hole punch. You can use various ornaments, obtained with a hole punch, or carved with your own hands. You can also decorate the vase with glitter or hand-painted elements.

So, fruits in a vase made of paper are ready!

Food basket

A fruit basket can become not only an interesting craft, but also a summer table decoration. To make it we need:

  1. Large watermelon;
  2. Sharp knife;
  3. Fruit for filling.

Let's get to work!

The base of our basket will be a watermelon, so the first step is to carefully examine it for damage. Then you need to rinse it well and wipe it dry with a towel. Now we take the prepared template for the handle of the future basket in order to know how to cut it out correctly. And carefully cut it out according to the template.

Pay special attention to the fact that this must be done very carefully and carefully, try not to damage the base.

After the watermelon is cleared of pulp, it must be thoroughly dried from the inside. To do this, first wipe everything with paper towels, and then put newspaper or paper inside to absorb moisture. It is best to change the paper several times until the inside of the watermelon is completely dry.

While the watermelon dries up, you can start decorating it. You can cut various elements directly on the peel, or you can use paints and paint the watermelon in any color.

Finally, we move on to the last step. We fill the basket with fruits and berries.

Getting started with conservation

Before the winter period, adults usually are engaged in canning vegetables and fruits, and children are watching them with genuine interest. So why not let your child take part in the process of preserving fruit in the form of an applique?

In order to complete the application "Canning fruits", we need cardboard, colored paper, scissors and glue.

We cut out a figure in the form of a can from cardboard, and fruits from colored paper. Fruit can be whatever you want. You can also not cut out the jar, but draw it on cardboard, as is done in the picture.

Then you need to "try on" the arrangement of the cut fruits "inside" the jar: arrange the figures so that they look interesting and do not overlap each other too much. The size of your cut fruit will depend on the size of the can and how much fruit you want to "can".

When the fruits have found their place, it's time to start gluing them to the jar. To do this, each fruit in turn must be carefully spread with glue and attached to the jar. Excess glue can be removed with a napkin.

Summary of GCD in the senior group

"Still life of fruits" (application)

Prepared by: educator Belkina O.V.

Goals: improve the technique of cutting out rounded shapes from paper folded in half, observing the proportions; develop a sense of color in the selection of color, compositional skills; give the concept of the foreground and background; to educate an aesthetic attitude to nature in the surrounding world.

Equipment: fruits or their replicas (orange, banana, apple, plum), colored paper, scissors, glue, brush, napkin, felt-tip pens, bag.

Preliminary preparation: a conversation about the benefits of fruits; examining fruits in order to find out their shape; solving riddles about fruits.

Course of the lesson:

  • 1. Creation of game motivation.
  • Educator: Today we will be still life. Who can tell me what is depicted in a still life? (children's answers) That's right, still life is a genre of fine art, a painting that depicts objects: vases, flowers, vegetables, fruits, etc. What will be depicted in our still life? Guess!
  • The teacher asks the children to identify the fruits in the bag by touch. You can use riddles as a hint:
  • Balls hang on the knots-
  • Turned blue from the heat. (plum)
  • Round, ruddy,
  • I grow on a branch:
  • Adults love me
  • And little kids. (Apple)
  • Bright, sweet, poured,
  • All covered in gold.
  • Not from the candy factory-
  • From distant Africa. (Orange)
  • -Yes, today we will create a still life of fruits, and we will perform the work using the applique technique.
  • 2. Updating knowledge.
  • Educator: And in order for us to have a beautiful application, we need to arrange the fruits correctly. When laying them out, one must remember that large fruits should be in the background, that is, behind, but those that are smaller should be placed in front. What if we do the opposite? ( children's answers) Yes, small fruits will not be visible then. Suggest your options for staging a still life, not forgetting about the combination of colors. It is hardly appropriate, for example, to have a yellow orange and a yellow-green banana side by side. (children complete the task) Here is what a beautiful still life we have made! Now you can cut out the appliqué details.
  • 3. Demonstration of methods of work.
  • Educator: In order to cut fruit out of paper, you need to know what shape they have. Tell me. (children's answers) Do you know how you can cut a circle out of a square? (children's answers) And from which geometric shape can an oval be cut? (children's answers) Yes, we will cut an orange and an apple from squares folded in half, a plum from a rectangle. How to cut a banana? First we will draw it, and then we will cut it along the drawn contour.
  • After we cut out the necessary details, we lay them out on a sheet of paper in the same way as we have fruits on the table. Then we glue the distant parts first, and then the near ones. Smear a little glue on the details so that the applique is neat. The missing small details can be completed with a felt-tip pen.
  • The teacher shows the techniques for making the applique.

4. Practical work.

Assignment: to carry out the application of a still life of fruits.

5. Outcome of the lesson.

Children's works are exhibited at the stand.

Educator: What amazing still lifes you got! These fruits should be on your tables every day, because they contain so many vitamins and other useful substances. If you eat them daily, you will be healthy, cheerful.
