Introduction

In our time, fashion has taken possession of the minds of most people, and this is quite justified: fashion is a massive mental phenomenon. This problem has been extremely topical recently: a teenager must, with a certain frequency, abandon his previous ideas about the beautiful, useful, pleasant and accept those views on the properties of things, the behavior of people that fashion approves. Huge cities have entwined the blue planet and made young people stand out against the background of the "urban". Every day, millions of teenagers meet on the subway or on the streets and, in order to brighten their lives, everyone tries to look unique. Teenagers are becoming more susceptible to the dictates of fashion and believe that "beauty requires sacrifice", neglect risks, try not to pay attention to well-being. It is important that exotic manifestations of fashion have become firmly established in the daily life of adolescents and have become serious factors, potentially not indifferent to health. These fun do not always pass without a trace, without affecting the health of the younger generation.

The above indicates the existence of contradictions between:

The presence of the need for adolescents to look fashionable and attractive, and the imposition of unhealthy standards of behavior, consumption, nutrition, decoration, clothing, etc. on the media.

Awareness of the importance of adolescents to lead a healthy lifestyle and the lack of a "healthy fashion" program at school.

The highlighted contradictions identified the problem of our report, which is associated with the need to develop a draft program that will contribute to the formation of a conscious attitude towards their health in adolescents when choosing fashion trends.

A conscious attitude to one's health is in the field of attention of specialists, teachers, parents, peers, who, if they find problems in adolescents, will provide the necessary support.

The problem of the development of modern fashion and its impact on

health of adolescents.

1.1. Youth fashion.

The topic of fashion, endlessly imposed by the media, is extremely attractive for modern teenagers. Consideration of fashion trends from a variety of angles makes it possible to address many problems and phenomena that are indirectly and directly related to the spiritual and physical health of children. Fashion is a capricious girl. She is cared for and cherished, nurtured and idolized, and she, like a windy person, is terribly fickle. Nowadays, very often young people are interested in fashion, what to wear in a given period of time, how to decorate themselves. But there are no limits for fashion, here a huge scope opens up for the fantasies of immature minds. Many foreign models of clothing attract young people not because there is admiration for Western, imported ones, but because these models well express the values, social roles that are readily accepted by young people: a sporty silhouette, brightness, swiftness, openness, and democracy. What constitutes a fashion object is no longer so important. It is customary to wear jeans, which means you need to buy, regardless of whether they look beautiful or not; it is customary to have a piercing - which means you have to make a puncture, no matter in which part of the body. Here the position “to be like everyone else” has completely different mechanisms. The goal is no longer the mastery of the wealth of the fashion object, its cultural content, but an attempt to take, with the help of the possession of things, a place in the relations of people - to approach, at least outwardly, the respected and "powerful of this world", to cause admiration, envy. The fashion object remains “unread”, indifferent to the child. Here, fashion is blind and superficial and therefore can lead to negative consequences. Power over people with fashionable items is not a very reliable guarantee of gaining authority or being liked by others.

1.2. Tattoo.

In society, it is widespread, especially among young people, the drawing on the body using the tattoo technique of drawings made in a different style is widespread: body art (color tattoo) and a simple tattoo.

This trend is increasingly capturing the younger generation, driven by the desire to imitate their idols and leaders.

A tattoo is the introduction into the dermis of non-removable, indelible pigments of one or more colors in order to create text or an image on the body. The word tattoo (tattoo - abbr.) Comes from the Tahitian ("ta" - drawing, "atoua" - deity). The history of tattooing is 60 thousand years old, it was applied in ancient Egypt. Various tribes of Europe and Asia, Indians of North and South America, inhabitants of Oceania were tattooed. The Maiori tribes from New Zealand wore (this tradition has survived to this day) mask-like tattoos on their faces - mocha. The patterns were a permanent war paint, an indicator of the prowess and social status of the owner. Aboriginal women in Japan indicated their marital status with a tattoo on their face. By the patterns on the lips, cheeks and eyelids, it was possible to determine whether a woman was married and how many children she had. The so-called "transitional rites" were associated with the tattoo: the initiation of young men into men or resettlement to the afterlife.

Tattoos were endowed with magical properties: protection of adults in battle and on a hunt, protection of old people from diseases. In some cases, the tattoo served as a punishment. In one of the Japanese provinces, the hieroglyph I NU - "dog" was applied to the forehead as punishment for a crime. Also, slaves and prisoners of war were marked with a tattoo, making it difficult for them to escape and facilitating their identification.

During World War I, deserters were marked with the letter "D" in England, and in Germany, using a tattoo, numbers were knocked out to victims of concentration camps.

With the spread of Christianity, the custom of using tattoos as an integral part of pagan rituals began to be eradicated and practically died out. The punishments were so severe that tattooing almost ceased to be used among Europeans until the 18th century.

The "main territory" of tattoo, where the tradition of antiquity was not interrupted and is widely practiced today, is Polynesia. Captain James Cook has made a significant contribution to the revival of tattoos in Europe. Returning from a voyage in 1769, he brought from Tahiti not only the word “tattoo” itself, but also a Polynesian covered with tattoos, who became a sensation, the first living “tattoo gallery”. Mainly from Polynesia in the 18th century. as a "souvenir" sailors brought to Europe outlandish pictures on their own skin. But now the 90s of the XX century come, and the tattoo is becoming a part of the global beauty industry, an attribute of youth fashion. The tattoo has long lost the bad reputation it had in the past.

Tastes and preferences change quickly, fashion passes, so do not rush to decorate yourself with a tattoo. It is difficult to remove it, although modern science has developed methods for removing by means of a laser, but even their use does not always allow this. Yellow and green pigments are especially persistent. Henna tattoos, which have become especially popular lately, are extremely dangerous, and not henna itself, but the paint that contains it. The dye contains a very strong allergen and in many people can cause lifelong allergies to sunscreens, pain relievers, clothing and eyeshadow that contain the dye. There have been cases when seemingly healthy adolescents developed bronchial asthma after tattooing.

In addition, paint particles enter the lymphatic vessels, and through them into the lymph nodes, which become like a storm sewer clogged with mud and cease to perform their protective, immunological function. The reduction of the tattoo will not bring relief, since the particles of paint trapped in the lymph nodes have time to do their dirty work. As a result of a weakened immune system, herpes, pustular skin diseases occur, a virus that causes the appearance of papillomas is activated. Cystitis, kidney disease may appear. When tattooing, handicraftsmen are likely to get hepatitis and HIV infection. The fact that Sasha or Pasha is wearing tattoos from head to toe - and nothing (a typical adolescent argument) - is not a reason for complacency. First, it is not known how "nothing" to them. Secondly, all people are different - some are stronger, others are weaker. Nobody knows where his weak point is.

1.3. Piercing.

As ancient as tattooing is the art of piercing - piercing various parts of the body. Now you won't surprise anyone with a pierced tongue or navel. Piercing is perceived as one of the areas of body art.

In ancient Egypt, the navel was pierced to the daughters of the pharaohs and golden piers inlaid with precious stones were inserted into it. Indian women pierced the wing of the nose after marriage (in some provinces this rite has been preserved). Some Indian men pierced their tongues as a sign of a vow to remain silent. The invasion of piercing into the life of Europeans took place in the Middle Ages. This tradition was adopted by sailors and pirates from the Eastern peoples and brought to the Old World. But here the non-Christian custom met fierce opposition from the church. Women even stopped wearing earrings for a while. Only tongue piercing was used as a punishment for perjury. Over the years, there has been a negative attitude towards piercings in Europe. He was considered a sign of renegades who had no place in decent society. Even in the paintings of medieval artists, a puncture of the body is a defamatory sign. They "branded" those who did not deserve either respect or trust: gypsies, Saracens, criminals, in general, enemies of Christian morality.

But how changeable the world is! In the XVI-XVII centuries. piercing became popular with representatives of the European aristocracy. The global youth piercing epidemic broke out in the 90s of the last century and spread on both sides of the Atlantic. It was preceded by "its own Middle Ages", when piercing was the label of hippies, punks, sadomasochists, vagabonds, alarmed by rock culture. Such a fashionable hobby for piercing is not as safe as it might seem at first glance. Infectious inflammation at the puncture site, bleeding, non-healing wounds, pulling out an earring and the formation of large scars and scars are quite common. Punching an eyebrow can damage the facial nerve, and the face will be cramped. An earring in the tongue can cause partial numbness. There have been cases when tongue piercing caused a brain abscess - a localized purulent formation. All of the above is not the worst thing yet. If the sterilization technology is violated, then a seemingly innocent piercing can lead to such deadly infectious diseases as AIDS, hepatitis B and C, blood poisoning, and tetanus. Despite all the warnings of doctors, piercing is popular among the younger generation.

Is there a health hazard in piercing? Many experts agree that piercing is dangerous, even if it is done in a special salon, since piercers, as a rule, are not very versed in human anatomy and in medicine, except how to process the surface after a puncture. But with an incorrect puncture, large blood vessels can be damaged and cause severe bleeding, and by touching a nerve, it can cause irreparable harm to human health. Eyebrow piercing can affect the nerve plexuses and partially paralyze the facial muscles.

Allergic inflammation of the wound is the most common problem faced by those who decide to get pierced. The reason is simple - absolutely all earrings contain nickel. For example, in 583-carat gold, the ratio of gold to nickel is 14 to 10, and in 750-carat gold - respectively 18 to 6. Even a small admixture of nickel is enough to cause allergies - skin irritation on the earlobes. If an infection still acts on it, then real suppuration may occur - with weeping wounds and crusts. If you uncontrollably pierce the top of the pinna, hearing may deteriorate.

The most serious danger is an infection that can enter our body due to non-sterile instruments. Deadly diseases such as hepatitis, AIDS, tuberculosis and tetanus can be transmitted.

There are other concerns as well. Foreign experts have studied dozens of cases of sudden blindness and came to the conclusion that the poisonous components contained in metal jewelry can cause not only acute inflammation of the cornea of the eye, but also of the brain. All patients with unexplained corneal inflammation “adorned” their faces with trinkets. Many patients came to the doctor late - poisonous metals did their job. At first they started to sweat profusely. Then bleeding, and it all ended with inflammation of the eye. Young people did not even suspect that a seemingly harmless ring or other decoration could be the cause of a sharp deterioration in health. But doctors warn that the "tunnels" in the ears are dangerous to health.

Oral piercings increase the risk of gum disease and tooth decay, and often leads to tooth damage. Among the dangers of mouth piercing are the risk of choking on jewelry, loss of taste or the ability to taste in general, prolonged bleeding, crushing and decay of teeth, excessive saliva, its involuntary expiration of the mouth, damage to the gums, speech impairment, difficulty breathing, chewing food, and swallowing it. According to scientists, by doing piercings in order to appear more attractive, adolescents, ironically, can damage that very attractiveness and their health.

Plus, piercings are fraught with ugly scars. If the rings in very sensitive places cling to and pull on clothing, the jewelry can easily tear the skin. Scar tissue that forms on a girl's breasts during nipple piercings can block the milk ducts, and if she does not seek medical help, it will be impossible for her to feed her baby in the future.

For quite a long time, medical scientists have been collecting generalized data on piercing victims. Most of those who applied for help are people from 16 to 24 years old. Moreover, every third case has serious complications. Half of the victims require medical intervention, even surgery.

Most often, complications occur with punctures of the tongue (50%), genitals (45%) and nipples (38%). Causes of complications - bacterial microflora of the oral cavity, genitals, skin; the proximity of blood vessels in the area of the puncture; non-observance of personal hygiene and puncture care regimen; an allergic reaction to the material of the decoration; non-sterility of instruments and low qualification of the master.

Reasons for getting people to get piercings and tattoos:

Teenagers decorate themselves in exotic ways for a variety of reasons. Many succumb to the flow of fashion without thinking about anything. Others believe that this will make them look more attractive, that this is what they lack to perfection. Body decoration also serves as a way to express independence, a way to highlight your individuality. Psychologists note that adolescents are encouraged to do this by the desire to annoy their parents. This need for self-expression seems to stem from a reluctance to follow accepted norms and a spirit of rebellion. Some people are prompted by deep psychological and emotional needs. They believe this will help them assert themselves. And those who suffered bullying and violence in childhood believe that piercings and tattoos will make them feel like masters of their bodies.

1.4. Low rise skinny jeans

High fashion designers could not ignore jeans. And although for a long time jeans pants were considered the lot of only the middle class, now all the best designers will certainly produce collections of fashionable denim clothes, the most popular and affordable of which are skinny jeans with a low waist. Our trainer, who was examined at the urology department of the hospital, was amazed by the company that had gathered there: instead of old men and women, young girls of about 20 filled the wards. “Pyelonephritis is an inflammatory kidney disease. There has always been an age, but now a youth ... Victims of fashion! ” - the attending physician commented phlegmatically. As professional doctors admit, it is generally difficult for them to refrain from seeing a fashionably dressed girl or guy in the cold outside, not automatically noting: chronic inflammation of the appendages, prospect of prostatitis, curvature of the spine ...

1.5. High heels

Nowadays, a variety of heels are in vogue: both their length and shape vary, which can be the most bizarre: expanding downwards, columnar, wedge-shaped or stiletto heels. People are used to this attribute of women's dress, but what do they know about the history of high heels? From the very beginning, the appearance of heels could be due to two main reasons:

Aesthetic goals (to increase the height of the wearer of heels),

Practical needs dictated by the specific goals of using heels in everyday life.

So, when making shoes, people noticed that the part of it that adjoins the heel wears out much faster than the rest. Therefore, gradually, some thickening appeared on the outsole and in the back of the shoe, serving the practical purpose of increasing the lifespan of the shoe. However, at this historical moment, it is still impossible to speak of the emergence of heels as a kind of special "support" for shoes. Meanwhile, scientists have not yet fully figured out where the heel fashion comes from.

It is only known that the first mention of shoes on a "stand" - the prototype of the modern platform - we find in Ancient Greece, where it was used by theater actors to visually increase their height. The next period of time when we see the borrowing of the practice of wearing shoes with heels dates back to the 15-16 centuries. This century - the century of the Renaissance - was generally characterized by an emphasized striving upward, symbolizing the rise of man above reality (hence the upward form of Gothic architecture of that time). This desire has proven itself well in shoe fashion. Of course, speaking about the origin of the fashion for heels, one cannot fail to mention such a very recent invention, which, nevertheless, revolutionized the idea of the aesthetic properties of shoes - the invention of the stiletto heel. It happened in the 50s of the twentieth century, in France, at a time when many fashion designers worked towards creating models that emphasized the youth and beauty of women. And here, again, the name of the inventor remained under the cover of the darkness of history: for example, several famous fashion designers in France are arguing about the primacy of creating this shoe model. Stiletto heels came in handy as never before. And very soon, almost all the stars flaunted in them, setting an example for the rest of the women of the planet.

Now, as well as many years ago, women wear heels to stand out from the crowd, to emphasize their fragility and grace.

The only way to be safe is to choose high-heeled shoes only in extreme, most special cases. And spending the rest of the time at a height of up to 5 centimeters is not so spectacular, but safe.

Conclusions on the theoretical part of the study

The theoretical part of the study allowed us to draw conclusions that:

Piercing and tattooing are not just punctures, but a real surgical operation with all the possible consequences that follow from this: allergic reactions, purulent inflammation, blood poisoning. This means that they must be done in specialized medical institutions in compliance with all the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.

Before applying a tattoo, you need to clearly imagine the time when the tattoo gets bored and you want to get rid of it. If a pinpoint scar remains at the site of the pierced piercing after removing the jewelry, then at the site of the reduced tattoo there are often ugly scars and scars.

Considering the above, it is preferable to get a temporary tattoo and use special clips instead of piercing.

Skinny jeans should not be casual wear. They need to be alternated with loose-fitting trousers or skirts. High-heeled shoes should not be worn every day, but only occasionally, on holidays.

So, any of the fashion trends we have considered, to a greater or lesser extent, negatively affect health. Decorating methods associated with surgical intervention are more dangerous to health than fashionable clothes and shoes, since the harmful effects of the second group are more distant and, if desired, they can be stopped in time.

Fashion and its influence on the health of a teenager. The presentation was prepared by: Kl. Head of the 10th grade Krivoda novskoy school №23 Mikhailova L.Yu.

Fashion is a way of life in this historical moment. It touches every person and all aspects of his life - from the shape of the heel to literature, from the scent of perfume to architecture. But we must not forget that not everything that is fashionable is good for health. Some hobbies that are dictated by fashion can be unhealthy. What is fashion?

What is health? Health is a combination of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not just the absence of illness and injury. (WHO) "A healthy beggar is happier than a sick king." (Schopenhauer)

Tattoo This is a drawing, symbol, inscription applied to the body by injecting permanent paint of various colors under the skin.

History of tattoo Tattoo is about 6000 years old. The patterns of primitive people were a constant war paint, an indicator of the prowess and social status of the owner. With the development of civilization, tattooing began to be used as a punishment. The Christian Church condemned tattooing.

Why does a person need a tattoo? Way of self-expression; Memory of something; To attract attention; Tribute to fashion; Show your attitude to life, etc.

Arguments against tattoos: Fashion is changeable, and tattoos are for life; Removing a tattoo is very difficult; May interfere with a career; A tattoo does not allow you to forget about your reputation and the past; The tattooing process is unsafe.

Why are tattoos dangerous? May cause allergies; They cause various inflammatory processes; Contributes to kidney disease; The risk of contracting hepatitis C increases 9 times; The risk of contracting HIV is high; You can get infected with other infectious diseases.

What is piercing? Piercing - piercing of various parts of the body.

Doesn't it remind anyone? For a long time in Europe, they branded those who did not deserve either respect or trust: gypsies, criminals.

Is piercing dangerous? With a puncture, infectious diseases, non-healing wounds, bleeding can occur. Piercing can lead to fatal diseases such as hepatitis B and C, syphilis, AIDS, tetanus, blood poisoning, tuberculosis.

Lip piercing When piercing the lip, the ring can damage the gum.

Tongue piercing There is a huge amount of bacteria in the oral cavity A jewel inserted into the tongue can irritate the gums and break teeth. An incorrect tongue piercing can lead to a loss of taste.

Eyebrow piercing May cause severe swelling May touch nerves and paralyze facial muscles

Navel piercing Threatens inflammation of the umbilical vein. During pregnancy, women with a pierced belly button may have a distended belly. The wound heals for a very long time

Clothes Can clothes be dangerous?

In our harsh climate, too short clothing leads primarily to all kinds of inflammatory processes. Doctors warn that general hypothermia of the body, at best, leads to colds, and at worst, inflammation will walk through the body. Lungs, kidneys, heart, uterus, or ovaries may be affected. Already at 12-15 degrees of heat, hypothermia of the internal organs occurs, and as a result - pyelonephritis, cystitis, sciatica and inflammation of the appendages, and this is a direct path to infertility. The most insidious temperature is + 18-20 degrees in combination with high humidity or wind. Short clothes

The boom in trousers and skirts on the hips has become a real disaster for young girls. The fact is that trousers and skirts below the waist pinch the artery that supplies blood to the pelvic organs. And since very young 12-14 year old girls begin to abuse such clothes, this leads to underdevelopment of the cervix and ovaries. In the future, it will be very difficult for such a girl to become pregnant and bear a child, and sometimes she deprives herself of the opportunity to have children for her entire life. Therefore, such items of clothing are contraindicated for adolescents! Exit: Wear tight things no more than twice a week! Low Waist Skinny Jeans

High heels cause numerous injuries, from sprains and sprains to fractures. The center of gravity from the lumbar spine is shifted forward. There is a displacement of the vertebrae and pelvis, the bending of the back increases, and after that the internal organs are displaced. As a result, various ailments of the back. A shift in the center of gravity can cause inflammation of the digestive system and pelvic organs. Overloading the forefoot. Instead of the entire surface of the foot, the load goes only to the toe, as a result, blood circulation is disturbed, the foot stops springing. This can lead to transverse flat feet, arthritis (joint inflammation), arthrosis (joint deformity), edema, thrombophlebitis and varicose veins. Human anatomy is such that flat shoes are also not useful, as they interfere with the natural roll of the foot when walking. A small heel - from 2 to 5 cm - acts as a spring, making life easier for the legs. High heels

Cosmetics Cosmetics - is it a means to look younger in old age and older in youth? Especially the regular and abundant application of cosmetics has a detrimental effect on the health of the skin and hair. Hair dyes often contain harmful chemicals. Regular hair coloring can lead to premature hair discoloration and hair loss.

Unknown friend - mobile phone. Egyptian scientists from the University of Cairo, based on the results of a 15-year study, have concluded that excessive use of a mobile phone can cause premature aging. A team led by biophysics and radiophysics professor Fadhil Mohammed Ali discovered that exposure to electromagnetic radiation harms human cells, particularly blood cells.

Italian doctors warn that too much enthusiasm for text messages from a mobile phone can result in tendinitis, that is, inflammation of the tendons of the fingers. The risk of developing it is especially high in children and adolescents. According to a recent study, 37 percent of children in Italy are "addicted" to the phone. In addition to tendonitis, excessive use of a cell phone can lead to irritability and mood swings. SMS

The norms of the international standard for health safety indicate the power of a mobile phone at 2 watts per kilogram of a person's body and no more than that. European Union Studies. At the end of 2004, the results of a study commissioned by the European Union were published. For 4 years, European scientists have been trying to assess the impact of a mobile phone on human health and the degree of its safety. According to them, experiments have shown that radiation from mobile phones causes real harm to human and animal cells, leading to a significant increase in DNA mutations. And in the long term, such changes at the cellular level can cause cancer. And although the effect of a mobile phone on human health has not yet been fully studied, it is clear that it should be used taking into account what we have already learned.

Helpful hints and precautions. 1. Having decided to change your phone, choose the model with the lowest power. 2. Carry your mobile phone in your bag, not in your pants pocket, positioning it so that the antenna of the mobile phone is as far away from you as possible and the display towards you. 3. Do not use a cell phone unnecessarily, because even if a mobile phone in standby mode does not emit almost anything, then when you are out of the coverage area of the network, in this case, it periodically turns on the transmitter to determine its network, and this continues until then, until the connection with her is restored, thereby exerting an irradiating effect on you. 4. Speak as quietly as possible, because when the volume is increased, the radiation power automatically increases.

Helpful hints and precautions. 5. Speak as short as possible, with a break of at least 15 minutes. Replace the conversation with SMS messages or a personal meeting more often. Remember that a mobile phone is not a replacement for an ordinary phone and you cannot talk on it for a long time. When talking, keep it at a distance of at least 3 centimeters from the scalp, because in this gap there is a maximum focus of radiation. Also note that in the data transfer mode using GPRS technology, EDGE, the radiation intensity increases. 7. It is better to use a speakerphone, I do not advise using headphones as they are an extension of the transmitter antenna towards which the maximum radiation is emitted. Mobile communication is not at all recommended for children and adolescents under 16 years of age, pregnant women, people prone to neurological diseases, people who have been implanted with cardiac heart rate devices.

Helpful hints and precautions. 9. Do not use your mobile phone on subways, trams, trolleybuses and near high-voltage power lines. Those. where the natural electromagnetic field is weakened. 10. When making a call, do not hold the phone to your ear. At this time, the transmitter power of the phone is at its highest. 11. Do not let children use your mobile phone. The bones of a child's skull are thinner and their brain is developing. 12. Try to turn off your phone at night. Agree that you do not expect important calls at night. At the same time, even a mobile phone operating in standby mode affects you during sleep, disrupting the fast and slow phases of sleep. If you use the phone's alarm clock to wake up, read the instructions carefully - it works even when the phone is switched off.

Diseases Associated with Unhealthy Nutrition Disease is just a way by which nature shows a person that he is full of toxins Acute heart attack. Hypertonic disease. Diabetes. Allergy Joint disease Gallstone disease

Rules of a healthy diet It is recommended to eat food that consists of 15-20% proteins, 20-30% fats, 50-55% carbohydrates contained in vegetables, fruits, cereals, nuts. Food is poorly absorbed (cannot be taken): When there is no feeling of hunger. With severe fatigue. In case of illness. With negative emotions, anxiety, anger and jealousy. Before starting hard physical work. With overheating and severe chills. When in a hurry.

The Importance of Proteins Proteins are the basic building blocks of our bodies, essential for the growth and maintenance of critical organs and tissues.

The importance of fats Fats satisfy the energy needs of humans

The Importance of Carbohydrates Replenishment of the brain's supply of nutrients occurs due to the intake of glucose. providing energy to all processes in the body

Along with the main components of food - carbohydrates, fats and proteins - in the nutrition of schoolchildren, timely and complete replenishment of the body's need for vitamins, microelements, biological fibers and water is necessary. Unfortunately, too many factors in modern life have a negative impact on health, not least of all fashion. In the usual sense, fashion is what is most popular at the moment in clothing, everyday life, the appearance of a person and even social life. It is difficult, while living in a society, not to succumb to the trend of fashion, and it is hardly worth fiercely resisting it, constantly opposing oneself to society. But what you should not do for sure is to blindly follow the fashion, because it is far from always that this adherence contributes to the preservation of health.

As an example of the negative impact on the health of fashionable clothes, we can cite outfits that open the middle part of the abdomen in women. A skirt or trousers with a dropped waist and a top instead of a blouse or sweater may look beautiful, especially on graceful figures, but only doctors know what an outbreak of inflammation owes its existence to this fashion. Such outfits were nicknamed by gynecologists adnexitis fashion, from the word adnexitis, which means inflammation of the uterine appendages. In our temperate latitudes, such a dress in autumn, spring, and sometimes even in winter is guaranteed hypothermia of the abdominal organs, and it is the organs of the female reproductive system that react most sensitively to it.

Speaking of the factors that have a negative impact on health, one cannot fail to mention the fashion for some food products. These include fast food, energy drinks, soda, and a variety of snacks such as flavored croutons or chips. Despite the fact that it has long been established that such a diet can lead health to a deplorable state in several years, there is still a fashion for it, and is in every possible way supported in the media for commercial interests.

It is characteristic that adolescents are most susceptible to the influence of fashion, while their body, due to physiological characteristics, is extremely vulnerable to damaging factors, since it is in a state of restructuring. Therefore, it is necessary for adults to teach a person from all the variety of fashion to choose what will be useful to him, and after all, the most effective way of learning is his own example. Children need to be taught how to eat right, how to dress properly, how not to put their lives at unnecessary risk, and then they will not become victims of fashion, but learn to be its partners. After all, nowadays there is a fashion for useful things: for fitness, for self-care, for a meaningful, healthy diet, it is only important to make the right choice.

Do you know that:

There are very curious medical syndromes, for example, compulsive swallowing of objects. In the stomach of one patient suffering from this mania, 2,500 foreign objects were found.

In an effort to get the patient out, doctors often go too far. So, for example, a certain Charles Jensen in the period from 1954 to 1994. survived over 900 surgeries to remove neoplasms.

Tooth decay is the most common infectious disease in the world, which even the flu cannot compete with.

Human bones are four times stronger than concrete.

When we sneeze, our body completely stops working. Even the heart stops.

According to many scientists, vitamin complexes are practically useless for humans.

The human stomach copes well with foreign objects and without medical intervention. It is known that even coins can dissolve gastric juice.

The first vibrator was invented in the 19th century. He worked on a steam engine and was intended to treat female hysteria.

Four slices of dark chocolate contain about two hundred calories. So if you do not want to get better, it is better not to eat more than two slices a day.

It used to be thought that yawning enriches the body with oxygen. However, this opinion has been refuted. Scientists have proven that yawning, a person cools the brain and improves its performance.

American scientists conducted experiments on mice and came to the conclusion that watermelon juice prevents the development of vascular atherosclerosis. One group of mice drank plain water and the other drank watermelon juice. As a result, the vessels of the second group were free of cholesterol plaques.

Human blood "runs" through the vessels under enormous pressure and, if their integrity is violated, is capable of shooting at a distance of up to 10 meters.

Falling off a donkey is more likely to break your neck than falling off a horse. Just do not try to refute this statement.

Millions of bacteria are born, live and die in our gut. They can only be seen at high magnification, but if they were gathered together, they would fit in a regular coffee cup.

In addition to people, only one living creature on planet Earth suffers from prostatitis - dogs. These are really our most loyal friends.

The first wave of flowering is coming to an end, but the blossoming trees will be replaced by cereal grasses from the beginning of June, which will disturb allergy sufferers ...

Healthy lifestyle - a healthy lifestyle! From every banner, from every monitor, we show the toned, tanned, sinewy bodies of men and women... Each media person is obliged to demonstratively promote his involvement in healthy lifestyle.

Healthy lifestyle - what is it? A new ideological movement? Religion? Meaning of life? A dream of harmonious development? Or is it just a mask that the current generation has put on itself, in order to make it easier to sell itself, because now it is fashionable?

In our life, every day it becomes more and more falsehood, lies and hypocrisy... And if in the past centuries, a healthy lifestyle was considered: a balanced nutritious diet, exercise in the morning, not alcohol abuse, work and fresh air. Now in priority, only the outer shell, only the kind of beauty of the human body, which is approved as an attribute of a healthy lifestyle. And people, in pursuit of an appearance that will be quoted in our society and will allow themselves to be sold at a higher price, are ready to do absolutely anything!

Indeed, in fact, the absolute majority of those who gnaw half to death on celery and train 30 hours a week in various fitness centers and gyms do not care at what price they get that kind of their body, which is considered to be beautiful today.

We generally don't give a damn about the state of your body until the symptoms of the disease begin to affect our appearance. And a sagging chest, lack of a waist or a small ass excites us much more than gastritis, cirrhosis of the liver or cardiovascular dystonia. We are passionate about vegetarianism, veganism, raw food, fitness and yoga, just because someone recognized it as one of the forms of healthy lifestyle! And if someone failed to achieve the universally recognized attractiveness through diets and sports, then they easily agree to surgical intervention: various types of plastic surgeries, liposuction, cosmetic corrections, etc. They are ready to lie to society, to lie to themselves - just to be what it is fashionable to be at the present time.

And what will happen next, with this body, exhausted, crippled by eternal diets, unbearable physical exertion, surgeons and cosmetologists absolutely do not care. After all, it will be later, sometime in the boundless future. Or maybe by that time something else will be invented that will increase the life of my body. Or maybe the fashion changes, and I can adjust to it again. The main thing now is to look the way fashion trends require. After all, if you meet the standards of "beauty" you will earn more, you will be more successful, in demand, and therefore, subsequently, you will be recognizable and have power. Power and money - the ultimate dream of 90% of the world's population! Not the development of thought, the desire to create and benefit society, but primitive mercantile aspirations... The population degrades, ceases to develop thinking abilities, does not consider it necessary to develop as a person, and is only engaged in improving its body.

Our generation has become too dependent on the opinions of others. Too busy promoting themselves up the social ladder. We are so passionate about the pursuit of money and power that there is nothing left in us that could identify us as - Homo sapiens - Homo sapiens. And this is an indisputable fact. "Correct" nutrition, "culture" of the body are not the only priorities in life! AND Healthy lifestyle is the harmony of body and soul! This is the all-round development of everything that nature has so generously endowed us with, and that great thing that has created our soul!

All good! Live in harmony !!!

A large number of factors of modern life have a negative impact on human health. And fashion is not the last on this list. In the usual sense, fashion is what is most popular at the moment, not only in everyday life, food, architecture, but also in clothes.

"Beauty requires sacrifice"... The well-known phrase has already set the tongues and minds of many men and women on edge. Is it worth the sacrifice? That is the question! If extra pounds prevent you from living, and you can no longer tie your shoelaces without help, then lose weight! If you feel comfortable with your weight, then you shouldn't exhaust yourself with diets. There is always a choice! And you yourself make this choice.

The fashion show of the autumn-winter collection 17/18 Dolce & Gabbana was held under the motto "Fashion is Me". More than 140 models took part: thin and fat, tall and short, young and old. Stefano Dolce said it was an Equality Parade, people "must accept themselves as they are."

The fashion for skinny models is coming to an end. Quite by chance, I learned that all the chief editors of VOGUE magazine signed an agreement not to hire models under the age of 18 and those who have problems with eating habits. The main thing is not to overdo it. There should always be a "golden mean".

It is difficult, living in a society, not to succumb to the general excitement in fashion. And you shouldn't oppose yourself so violently to your surroundings. What you shouldn't do thoughtlessly is blindly follow fashion. The remarkable phrase of the fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev “Following fashion is ridiculous, not following is stupid” reflects fashion trends deeply enough. As sad as it may sound to some, we are all subject to fashion trends.

One of the negative health effects of fashion is lowered skirts and trousers. opening the middle of the abdomen in women. In the warm season, such skirts and trousers do not carry any threat, but in winter, perhaps, you should not abuse this trend. Although it is for the autumn-winter 17/18 season that designers propose to demonstrate their flat bellies to the female population. This trend looks especially luxurious on graceful figures. Looks good on the figures of those who lead a healthy lifestyle and regularly visit the gym, and only doctors know about the outbreak of inflammation that this fashion owes.

Another negative impact of fashion on health is costume jewelry bought in markets and in crossings. . An incomprehensible alloy can cause an allergic reaction. The best outcome is metal oxidation on your fingers, the worst is itching, irritation, redness, rash. It is best to buy jewelry, if you love it and know how to wear it, in trusted stores that can provide a certificate of quality.

"She took off her heel and left the race", said fashion expert Evelina Khromchenko. And she's partly right. It is not at all necessary to walk in high 11-centimeter heels, three centimeters will be enough for those who have “problem legs”. But there must be a heel. It should be stable, comfortable, according to your body type and lifestyle.

Raising the next toast at the festive table "For HEALTH", put all the responsibility into it, because health can be lost and not returned. Always trying on the next trendy novelty, think about the appropriateness of this thing in your wardrobe and still make a wise decision in favor of health!

Fashion and health

Fashion has entered people's lives since time immemorial. Fashion brings variety, gives us the opportunity to change our appearance, to make it more attractive. The saying goes: "Tastes could not be discussed". Nevertheless, discussions about fashion are going on among artists, fashion designers, art critics, sociologists. And for some time now, doctors have also started talking about fashion, in those cases when this "windy person" conflicts with the requirements of hygiene and even damages health.

Fashion and health are inextricably linked and interdependent. No wonder there is a proverb: "There is no more beautiful clothing in the world than the bronze of the muscles and the freshness of the skin." Unreasonable following of fashion can cause diseases, moreover, serious ones. Clothing should not only be fashionable, adorn us, emphasize the dignity of the figure and hide its flaws, but also fulfill its intended purpose - to protect from cold, rain, sun, dust and dirt. Clothing should not constrain, interfere with blood circulation, breathing. Unfortunately, we don't always remember this.

Regardless of what fashion reigned, people who were slender, with good posture, and fresh skin were always considered attractive. In other words, hygienists are for fashion and beauty, which cannot be without health. And fashion will never pass on health.

Every woman wants to look fashionable, stylish, unique, however, sometimes they forget that strictly observing fashion trends or adhering to a certain style, you can forever lose the most precious thing - health. And there is no need to be surprised - fashion and health are closely intertwined and interact with each other. Doctors strongly advise, if you have doubts about what to choose - fashion or health - you should opt for health after all. Believe me, fashion comes and goes, and health can be easily lost and very difficult to regain.

The word "fashion" has the Latin origin "modus", which translates as "measure, method, rule." This meaning is preserved even now. The concept of "fashion" is associated with the idea of beauty, to which humanity has been striving for many centuries. This aspiration is inherent in people of all age, national, professional groups. But the idea of beauty is not the same not only among different peoples and times, but among different generations of the same time. In this regard, there is no absolute standard of beauty.

Nature endows a person only with his inherent characteristics. These innate properties can be improved by their work: to improve the shape of the body, to make the gait light, movements graceful, appearance is elegant. This is a work for the good of health. Imitation of one's "beauty star" without taking into account natural data often turns into the opposite both in appearance and its effect on health. In this aspect, the fashion for beauty has a negative meaning.

The word "fashion" applies to various aspects of human life: clothing, make-up, behavior in society, construction, interior design of various premises, car brands, etc. The original meaning of fashion related to clothing. We put on a suit and it becomes a part of ourselves. People around us perceive us together with clothes. As French couturier Pierre Cardin put it: "Fashion- it is a way of expression, it is a reflection of the individual qualities of an individual in social and moral aspects ". By the cut, tailoring of a suit, one can determine the time (era or certain historical milestones), a person's profession, social status, character traits (modesty, virtue, etc.).

The French sociologist of the last century Gabriel Tarde wrote: "Fashion, although fleeting, manages to record certain moments of the social process." Continuing this thought, the Italian writer A. Moravia examines fashion from the point of view of aesthetics: "Fashion- it is a story that cannot be debated, argued, that cannot be denied. Indeed, peoples who have no history do without clothes. "

Nowadays, fashion keeps pace with scientific and technological progress. The new attracts attention, is tested by life and time, and is adjusted accordingly. The promotion of various fashion trends with commercial interests should not negatively affect health. Blind imitation of fashion can be harmful

Fashion are periodic changes in certain forms of any sphere of human existence: art, speech, clothing, command, etc. Despite their powerful, vivid expression, such changes are short-lived, for they are associated with an inexorable thirst for novelty, a person's thirst for diversity. If style expresses the desire for the eternal, then fashion - a beautiful moment. Changes in fashions are noticed by a rhythm, like the breath of life itself. Fashionable outfits can be influenced by the artistic trend, and the quirks of individual charismatic dandies, and political events, nostalgia for the past, and a reflection of fashion on human health.

There are several versions of what were the motives behind the emergence of fashion. One of the versions is climatic and the first to appear was clothing necessary to protect the human body from cold and heat, while preserving health. Another version is moral, which says that people have become embarrassed by nudity. Supporters of the third version - social - these are the first items put on by a person on the head, body, limbs were, in fact, a costume designed to demonstrate the status of the owner, highlight the leader, sorcerer, girl or old man. So what is the root cause that made a person dress up. Most likely it is a passionate desire to change your natural appearance. To change yourself, by all means - this is the initial impetus to the emergence of clothes, suits, hairstyles, regardless of the health benefits.

Adam and Eve became the first victims of the fashion and sewed a girdle from the leaves. Adam's descendants, having received their body and skin as the first clothing, invented more and more new types of "second skin".

Fashion in the modern sense - as a frequent change of types and styles of clothing, was the brainchild of the Renaissance. Since the 15th century, this area of mass application of the creative forces of fashionistas, artists, and tailors. It embodies the desire to destroy the familiar, the traditional and the search for the new, the unknown, sometimes aggravating health. It was hard for women of fashion in the 19th century, some of Turgenev's girls. The fashion requirements were as strict as the military regulations. One of the fashion attributes of that time was a corset. This construction of metal plates and whalebone tightly pulled together the waist, sides and chest. The young ladies sometimes did not have breakfast or dinner in order to fasten their corset tighter. The corset tightened the chest and made it difficult to breathe freely. And hence all sorts of illnesses, and weakness, and fainting, into which nervous ladies now and then fell. And also consumption, which mowed down the Turgenev girls. Therefore, doctors have repeatedly objected to such violence against the female body. Subsequently, corsets were replaced by petticoats, for better keeping the shape of the dress, which were made of a hard material - horsehair. Further, horse hair in skirts was replaced with crinoline - it consisted of thin metal strips hemmed to the fabric. Here is such an outfit - a circle, worn by women and girls. The ladies were very tired at balls and during visits.

Headdresses, bulky wigs disrupted cerebral circulation, caused headaches, dizziness.

The omnipotence of the fashion of the 20th century turned into the fact that in pursuit of it a person, having tried on all the masks and outfits, found himself genuine, eternal and undying, only temporarily immersed in the illusion of the world with all its seductive divine beauty. The most fashionable novelty of the decade has become synthetic fabrics. Doctors have proven that the use of synthetic materials is much more dangerous for humans. Than corsets and cryoline skirts. The fashion of the 50s and 60s turned to the young. The youth of the post-war generation already appreciated practicality in clothing and were looking for an opportunity for self-expression. It is generally accepted that the style of the 1950s was the most elegant and charming in the entire history of the twentieth century. An ideal housewife, even with a vacuum cleaner in her hands, had to look impeccable early in the morning - with full makeup, high heels, hair styled hair to a hair. Obligatory was a small round hat, coquettishly pushed over the eyes, which in winter was replaced by a "meningitis" - a small cap that covered only the back of the head. In the 50s, dresses were worn on a rigid frame, they weighed from 4 to 20 kg. For men, very tight trousers came into fashion - pipes, which were dressed "with soap", and nylon shirts. But this fashion style did not take root, as health suffered from it.

The universal style of the 90s is more likely not a style, but a new approach to clothing, a new principle of creating a suit and image. The basis of the wardrobe is not very expensive clothes, the quality of which, thanks to new technologies, has significantly increased compared to the last decade. There is a kind of unisex uniform that has spread throughout the world and in all social strata: jeans, a T-shirt, loose trousers, a sweater and comfortable shoes - flat shoes or sneakers. Since the days of ancient Greece, body culture has not received as much attention as in the 90s: beauty parlors and aesthetic surgery were added to the numerous sports clubs that arose in the 80s.

Sometimes, blindly following fashion and striving to become more feminine and sexy, we harm our health. Finding a compromise is not only about maintaining health, but also protecting yourself from the grumbling of your elders. They know well what is useful and what is not. But for some reason they forget that at one time they also liked what was fashionable and erotic, but not always good for health. So what are the hottest topics of discussion?

I want to lose weight!

In order to have a slim figure, some girls try to eat as little as possible, without getting the necessary proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, microorganisms for the growing body. As a result, metabolism, the activity of all organs and systems is disrupted.

An almost craze for diets, weight loss has become a fashion that cripples the health of many. Weight loss teas, figure shaping drugs, separate meals, do not eat after 18, wrapping, coding ... so many things have not been invented yet, but they have not made anyone happy and healthy. A person feels happy when he gets what he wants. Imagine yourself feeling when you are constantly feeling hungry, you are attracted by showcases with muffins, delicious sweets, and you are forced to give up all this. Sound familiar? Is it possible to have a good mood at the same time? Note that skinny salespeople are always less welcoming than fat salespeople. There are exceptions, though.

Eternally displeased expression, suffering look, bruises under the eyes do not add charm to the girl. So is it worth it for the sake of some extra grams in the waist or on the hips to make radical sacrifices, if this does not make you more beautiful and happier? Do not forget that men are not at all happy with skinny girls with model parameters. And for a serious relationship, most men will prefer a woman with more significant virtues of character, and not the one whose main life problem and whose task is not to gain an extra pound. What to do? How to find a compromise? You should not chase the parameters of beauties from the catwalk. Don't look up to your friend. You have to listen to your body. And it is better to reduce the portions of food as much as possible, than to give up all "tasty" altogether. Adhere to the principles of good nutrition, sometimes allowing yourself a little weakness.

The diet of schoolchildren 14-17 years old should consist of meat, fish, dairy products, vegetables, fruits. Physical education and sports, water procedures will help to be slim and healthy.

Heels

Now in fashion heels of various lengths and shapes, which can be the most bizarre: expanding downward, columnar, wedge-shaped or stiletto heels. People are used to this attribute of women's dress, but what do they know about the history of high heels? From the very beginning, the appearance of heels could be caused by two main reasons: aesthetic goals (increasing the height of the wearer of heels), practical needs dictated by certain goals of using heels in everyday life.

The first mention of shoes on a "stand" - the prototype of the modern platform - we find in Ancient Greece, where it was used by theater actors to visually increase their height. The use of the platform was then widespread in China and Japan, where wearing such shoes replaced the practice of swaddling women's feet in order to stop the growth of their feet.

The next period of time when we see the borrowing of the practice of wearing shoes with heels dates back to the 15-16 centuries. This century of the Renaissance was characterized by an emphasized striving upward, symbolizing the rise of man above reality. This desire has proven itself well in shoe fashion. So, chopine shoes, which were a kind of sandals on a platform made of wood or cork, became widespread. The height of the heels of such "sandals" was from 14 to 60 cm, which is similar to stilts, and the question arises as to how the women kept their balance. In the 17th century, in the Baroque era, the image of the modern heel was born from such sandals. However, at first it was still a platform with an arch-shaped cutout under the arch of the foot. Of course, speaking about the origin of the fashion for heels, one cannot fail to mention such a very recent invention, which, nevertheless, revolutionized the idea of the aesthetic properties of shoes - the invention of the stiletto heel. It happened in the 50s of the twentieth century, in France. Stiletto heels came in handy as never before. And very soon, almost all the stars flaunted in them, setting an example for the rest of the women of the planet. Now, as well as many years ago, women wear heels to stand out from the crowd, to emphasize their fragility and grace.

Effects on the body of shoes with heels:

Doctors say that the frequent wearing of high heels has a negative effect on the female body.

1 . St experience and fingers ... According to medical statistics, for every man with flat feet, there are ten women with a similar problem. Due to the shift in the center of gravity, the load on the forefoot increases by 5-6 times. Calluses (thick, hard calluses, which are difficult to get rid of) are formed on the sole and on the bone at the base of the big toe, pain under the heads of the metatarsal bones and static transverse flat feet that develop over time.

2 . NS knee joints and calf muscles ... In shoes with high heels, the natural distribution of the load on the leg muscles is disturbed. Retribution - deformation of the gastrocnemius muscle and shortening of the Achilles tendon. The last pathological change leads to the fact that the transition from high heels to low heels causes severe pain when the Achilles tendon is stretched. As a result, a woman cannot change into house slippers and is forced to wear high heels all the time. In addition, the redistribution of muscle work leads to an increase in the load on the knee joint, which eventually turns into arthritis. Plus, edema, spider veins are symptoms of varicose veins and thrombophlebitis.

3 . By spine ... To keep the body balanced on heels, the spine has to bend unnaturally in the lumbar region all the time (otherwise the woman would fall to the floor due to the shift in the center of gravity). This leads to an uneven load on the anterior and posterior edges of the intervertebral discs, and sooner or later women end up in the neurologist's office complaining of lower back pain.

4 . Vn morning organs ... When a girl is constantly on heels, the position of all her internal organs changes, which undoubtedly affects their work in a bad way.

5 . Go catch brain . Loss of memory and slowing down of thought processes are the result of walking in high heels. Decreased blood flow to the head leads to persistent migraines. The only way to be safe is to choose high-heeled shoes only in extreme, most special cases. And spending the rest of the time at a height of up to 5 centimeters is not so spectacular, but safe

In recent decades, sneaker-type shoes have been fashionable, which are used for everyday wear. Sneakers are sports shoes. They have a soft, flat sole without a heel, which, combined with a stiff back, has a detrimental effect on the muscles of the lower leg, contributing to abnormal relaxation of the muscles of the whole body, which in turn can cause poor posture. Most sneakers are made of synthetic materials that are superior in strength to leather, but inferior in hygiene. Due to the low vapor and moisture permeability, the legs and sneakers sweat in hot weather and indoors, which contributes to fungal infections of the foot. Therefore, sneakers should only be used for physical education.

Naked belly

In ancient times, women would pull themselves into a corset to make the waist as small as possible. Today, girls starve themselves to show others their waist. To many, this seems erotic. But the famous fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev indignantly talks about bare navels. And doctors advise to be prudent. Jeans and skirts that sit well below the waistline also expose the kidney area. And chilled kidneys remain grief and suffering for life. Chronic cystitis and pyelonephritis are long and difficult to treat, in addition, serious problems may arise in the future when you become pregnant.

If you cannot refuse this type of clothing, try to wear it only in warm weather. And let you always have a thin sweater or blouse with you that you can wear if it gets cold or you come home late. No matter how fashion changes, so that fashion designers do not come up with it, one must remember that only a healthy, well-groomed and happy woman looks feminine and erotic.

Mini skirts

A real discovery in the 20th century was the appearance of a mini-skirt, with the accession of which a real cult of long legs is established. The miniskirt has created a truly new ideal and provided new opportunities for women. And what gets health? Under the influence of systematic hypothermia, women develop circulatory disorders of the pelvic organs, inflammatory diseases of the uterus, ovaries, bladder appear, and disorders menstrual cycle. Irrational clothing (thin stockings, light shoes combined with short clothes) in the cold season leads to impaired blood circulation in the lower extremities, bluish-red seals appear on the skin of the lower leg. This disease is called symmetric erythrocyanosis.

Hats

Refusal of a headdress in the cold season (even in winter) also bears its sad results. At an air temperature of 10 ° C, the body's heat loss increases by 17%, and with an open neck in such conditions - up to 27%. Cooling the head leads to impaired blood circulation in the scalp, atrophy of hair follicles, hair loss and early baldness. Inflammation of the facial nerve, frontal and paranasal sinuses often develops.

Sunglasses

Another fashion trend is sunglasses. These glasses have plastic filters of green, purple, pink, blue colors. However, many colors do not protect from the sun, but rather cause dazzling and eye fatigue. Not very transparent and rough plastic requires a strong eye strain. Glasses with color filters trap up to 50% of the light, which causes pain in the eyes, headaches. It is not recommended for people with normal vision to wear dark glasses indoors and in cloudy weather. Now they produce photochromic glasses, which darken from the sun's rays, and become transparent again in the shade.

Jeans

Nowadays, trousers have become a universal item of both men's and women's toilet. The "jeans period" showed that a combination of fashion and practicality is possible. It all started with the fact that Levi Strauss, an emigrant from Bavaria, settled in California and opened a workshop for sewing trousers for miners and gold prospectors. In 1853, his factory began to produce overalls in brown fabric for awnings and tents. The fabric was delivered from the Italian city of Genoa, so the bales were stamped with the Genes stamp. However, the Americans read this name in their own way, and even then this fabric, which bears little resemblance to modern jeans, was called "jeans". The blue color of jeans, traditional for us, appeared by accident. Suddenly running out of stocks of tarpaulins were replenished with dense blue twill produced in the French city of Nîmes. De Nimes means "from Nimes": this is how the name of the blue denim fabric "denim" was born. However, the new fabric could not withstand the weight of gold nuggets and mining tools, and then, so that the pockets would not tear, they were secured with metal rivets. So in 1873, the original riveted jeans appeared - trousers made of sturdy fabric and metal rivets, ideal for farmers, cowboys and other members of the American working class. Clothing turned out to be so comfortable and practical that by the middle of the 20th century, all middle-class Americans began to wear jeans. Around the same time, women won the right to wear pants, and jeans became unisex clothing. And with the hippie era, as a sign of universal freedom, jackets, skirts, dresses and sundresses began to be sewn from denim, and the jeans themselves were transformed from ordinary pants into a fashionable wardrobe item, decorated with ribbons, embroidery and stylish wear.

Since then, denim has taken its irreplaceable place in American life. Over time, jeans moved to Europe, and during Perestroika, they appeared in the USSR. Soviet youth, with difficulty, but very persistently won the right to wear "bourgeois" clothes, which in our country at that time could not be obtained, and those rare lucky ones who brought jeans from abroad enjoyed the glory of successful fashionistas. But in less than a decade, denim clothing became everyday and affordable in Russia. Note that high fashion designers also could not bypass jeans. And although for a long time jeans pants were considered the lot of only the middle class, now all the best designers will certainly produce collections of fashionable denim clothes, the most popular and affordable of which are skinny jeans with a low waist.

Contraindications for wearing tight jeans with a low waist:

1. Too tight jeans interfere with normal blood circulation, especially in the pelvic area (and, accordingly, the genitals). The consequences are obvious: circulatory disorders and edema.

2. Skinny jeans compress the nerve endings, which can cause unpleasant sensations such as tingling and burning in the legs. Studies have shown that changing tight jeans to wider ones completely relieves these symptoms.

3. Rubbing. And, as you know, rubbed places are a gateway for microbes and pathogens of a wide variety of diseases. For example, under such conditions, the probability of activation of yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida (causative agents of thrush) increases 15 times!

4. Disruption of heat transfer also does not contribute to the preservation of healthy microflora.

5. Wearing tight jeans (especially with a high percentage of synthetic fibers) causes a deficiency in the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the skin, muscle bone, which leads to disruptions in their regeneration. And in conjunction with a violation of the superficial microcirculation of blood, a slowdown in the inflow and outflow of blood and lymph, fats in the subcutaneous layers are broken down more slowly, the cells hardly breathe, which can lead to the appearance of cellulite.

6. Pressure on internal organs can have a negative effect on reproductive function. Already at 12-15 degrees of heat, hypothermia of the internal organs occurs, which can lead to pyelonephritis, cystitis, radiculitis and inflammation of the appendages, and this can lead to impaired reproductive function.

Piercing

Piercing is one of the most fashionable trends in decorating your beloved face and body today. The word "piercing" comes from the English pierce - to pierce, drill. Strictly speaking, piercing refers to the insertion of objects into holes made for this purpose on the face or body.

The art of piercing is extremely ancient. In times distant from us, this procedure was more common among the strong half of humanity, since it often spoke of belonging to a tribe or rank, and served to demonstrate power and masculinity. Currently, piercings perform beautifying, erotic and other functions.

Earrings appeared precisely as a man's jewelry. Earrings for men were already made in Ancient Asia 7 thousand years ago. For the ancient Egyptians and Assyrians, the earring symbolized a high position in society. An earring in ancient Rome denounced a slave. The ancient Greeks, who wore earrings, earned their living through prostitution. Caesar's centurions wore nipple rings as a sign of bravery. Wealthy Greek women and wealthy Romans gladly wore pearl earrings, demonstrating their wealth and high position to those around them.

Septum piercing (a piercing of the nasal septum) was common among militant cultures. For Septum piercings, animal fangs were used (distributed by Irian Jaya), sometimes jewelry was made from the leg bone of a killed enemy. The larger the fangs, bones or other decorations are inserted, the angrier and more terrible the expression on the warrior's face.

Lip piercing is widely used all over the world, however, only two tribes do lip piercing with a ring insert: Dogon - Mali tribe and Nuba - Ethiopian tribe. In all other cases, lip piercings used special labret made of wood, ivory, metal and quartz crystals. Tongue piercing existed as a ritual among the ancient Aztecs of Central America and some tribes of the Northwest. Shamans pierced their tongues during rituals to achieve a certain change in consciousness and connection with the gods, and blood was used to calm the gods.

Health hazard:

For example, in 583 gold, the ratio of gold to nickel is 14 to 10, and in 750 gold, respectively, 18 to 6. Even a small admixture of nickel is enough to cause allergies - skin irritation on the earlobes. If an infection still acts on it, then real suppuration may occur - with weeping wounds and crusts.

If the navel is pierced, it is very important to know the thickness of the jewelry. If it is chosen incorrectly, the wound will heal for a very long time. Another undesirable consequence for women with nipple piercings is damage to the milk ducts. If you uncontrollably pierce the top of the pinna, hearing may deteriorate. According to doctors, piercing the cartilage in the nose or ear is more dangerous than making a hole in the earlobe. Surgeons say that making holes in the upper part of the ear can cause an infection and completely lose sensation in the ear. Rivets in the nose are also dangerous, as the infection can affect local blood vessels and spread to the brain.

All patients with unexplained corneal inflammation "adorned" their faces with trinkets.

Tattoos

In literal translation from English "tattoo" - "indelible word". Students of tattoo agree that the term "tattoo" was coined by the famous traveler Captain James Cook after his voyages to the hot regions of Oceania and Polynesia. “Tattoo” in the dialect of the islanders meant “to paint”. the Javanese have "tattoo" - "wound"

Nowadays, a tattoo (hereinafter referred to as a tattoo) is understood as a shallow introduction of dyes into the skin by means of piercing-cutting tools in order to obtain a long-lasting and stable image, pattern or drawing.

It is clear that in different regions of the Earth the tattoo acquired special features. For example, among the peoples inhabiting the northeast of Siberia and Alaska (Chukchi, Khanty, Eskimos, Nenets), images of totemic animals - patrons of the tribe - Bear, Kit, Deer were cultivated. The Scythian leaders and princesses found drawings of horses, rams, mythical creatures. Bodies, arms, legs, face, genitals were covered with a tattoo. This was done both to designate belonging to a particular clan-tribe, and to intimidate the enemy in battle. For example, among the ancient Slavs, warriors inflicted a facial tattoo on themselves.

Our ancestors had a very popular herbal, plant ornament, which conveys the juicy, living feeling of a plant filled with juices, a mighty vitality. His samples, in contrast to the not-so-long-lived tattoos, which disappear along with their owners (unless special processing or specific storage conditions were used), have been preserved on bone carvings, for example, caskets and plates, dating from the 18th century. from the collection of the Museum of Ethnography of the Peoples of the USSR.

Let's not forget about the special shamanic tattoos associated in meaning with the healing, predictive, ritual-spell-casting practice of the shaman, often the leader of the tribe. A similar function was borne by a tattoo in Asia, where it also played the role of an amulet (for example, among the Burmese).

Our famous compatriot, scientist-ethnographer Nikolai Miklouho-Maclay made a great contribution (including on the topic of tattoo) to the common treasury of the study of the peoples of the Micronesian region. Observing the natives, he noticed an interesting fact that for many tribes of Oceania, tattooing symbolized the attainment of marriageable age, for both men and women. In the same place, in addition to the distinctive symbols of belonging to a particular genus, the tattoo was a sign of a high social status, as, for example, on the Samoa islands.

Hunters and fishermen could tattoo themselves with symbols of the sea or forest, animals or fish for good luck in hunting or fishing. And the New Zealand Maori tribe was so concerned about the accuracy of the reproduction of facial tattoos (moco) that its leaders put them, for example, as personal signatures on contracts when selling their lands to the British in the 19th century.

In Europe, tattooing people practiced - merchants, artisans, and also warriors. Guild or professional solidarity is still widespread among these classes. Sometimes this could be expressed in the application of the mark of the profession on the body.

A tattoo (as sometimes a stigma) was punished, marking not just the guilty, but especially cruel murderers, rapists, thieves and horse thieves, without making any special distinctions between male and female sex.

The priestesses of love had their own insignia: uncomplicated hearts, the names of memorable lovers, possibly pornographic symbols, the names of brothels or places where the getter traded. Tattoos especially flourished among sailors who had seen enough curiosities around the world. For many of us (and quite rightly, it should be noted) sailors are associated with mysterious and broad natures. Indeed, who could go on a long voyage without seeing the sushi all this time, eating breadcrumbs, corned beef, ale, often without fresh water. It looks natural for a person who has spent a long time in the confined space of a ship to experience foreign wonders on his skin salted by sea and ocean winds. And the tattoo, among other indispensable attributes, has become a sailor's mark.

Do not think that the images applied in those days were the height of beauty and grace. Not at all. The simplest drawings and plots were in use. For example, a turtle could mean that its carrier crossed the equator, an anchor - that the Atlantic had submitted to the fellow. But since the sailors had to visit different countries and continents, sometimes among the total mass of standard tattoo themes, real masterpieces could come across, reminding their owners of their experiences. For example, the hand of one could well be decorated with the tribal signs of the Tahitian islanders. The leg of the other is to entwine the eastern dragons. The torso of the third is to cover the mysterious symbols of the Indian tribes. Naturally, having returned home in a successful scenario, the sailors simply could not help but become an object of heightened interest among both women and men who had not been to the sea.

Military tattoos were also respected, for which there were reasons. The knights of the Middle Ages did not disdain to apply tattoos on campaigns, for a tattoo cut from the body of the deceased and specially processed could serve as a kind of funeral for his relatives or a sign of belonging to a closed social group, a secret society.

Problems with tattoos

1. Infection . You can get an infection if it is not enough to gently handle the tattoo immediately after applying it. At the slightest suspicion of an infection, you should consult a doctor;

2. Allergy ... It happens that the pigments that make up the paint cause an allergic reaction;

3. Granuloma ... A granuloma is an inflammation that looks like a dense nodule. If dense subcutaneous nodules form around the tattoo, it is most likely a granuloma. Except in advanced cases, it is treated and is extremely rare.

Conclusion

fashion clothing health wellness

Human nature provides for his constant pursuit of excellence in order to remain competitive. This, in fact, normal phenomenon is realized in various, including distorted, forms, depending on social factors and the level of self-awareness of the individual.

In our work, we examined the currently most common among our peers, readily available, massive forms of embellishment, aimed at achieving a certain superficial standard, perceived by many as an increase in social status. Even a brief review of the technology and risks of such popular in the mass consciousness and practice forms of jewelry as piercings, tattoos, jeans, corsets, heels, shows the presence of many formidable threats to the health and life of a person who decides to use them on himself. Therefore, we can reasonably conclude that the hobby for external decoration, often hiding the inner emptiness, the lack of culture and potential for the development of the human personality, the desire for standardization is directly dangerous to health, and sometimes life. We see the prospect of our research in the further popularization of knowledge about the influence of fashion attributes on health. "Everything in a person should be fine",- said the great Russian writer Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. But what is harmful to health cannot be beautiful, let alone beautiful!

In modern society, a whole industry of ill health has formed, making big money by spreading the wildest and unhealthy standards of behavior, consumption, food, jewelry, clothing, etc. Let us help ourselves and our peers to prevent harmful consequences arising from interaction with fashion, in order to preserve the most precious thing we have - health and life!
