"House for Santa Claus" Master Class. Winter Christmas houses

On New Year's Eve, you can make a beautiful house of Santa Claus with your children, and the child will be happy to show his imagination when creating a miniature model of this fabulous architectural structure. See how festive and elegant things made by children can be. There are, of course, a lot of ideas for souvenirs for the winter holiday. They make snowmen, Christmas decorations, snowflakes, bells, socks for gifts, Christmas trees, decorate champagne bottles and glasses.

Making a house of Santa Claus with your own hands is an original and unusual idea. Any version of such crafts looks very beautiful, because it is a composition of several items. Usually the hut is complemented by a fence, snowdrifts around and, of course, a figurine of the owner of the dwelling.

Materials and tools

So, you have decided to create a house of Santa Claus. The craft is made from simple and affordable things that every home definitely has. If something is missing, everything can be easily bought at the nearest store. To work, you will need the following:

Cardboard or ready-made box, corresponding in size to the figure of Santa Claus;

Ruler, pencil, scissors or stationery knife, glue, paints and a container of water;

Brush or sponge (sponge), decorative paper (silver, mother-of-pearl, holographic, velvet);

Imitation of snow (cotton wool, cotton pads, artificial snow), decorative elements (tinsel, sequins, sequins, white or silver beads);

Figured hole punchers in the form of snowflakes, stars (optional), sticks for the fence;

Sculptures of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, Christmas trees, snowmen and other winter holiday attributes.

Modern materials from sets for children's creativity allow you to create very interesting and spectacular crafts. Working with beautiful cardboard, such as corrugated with a metallic print, curly scissors or hole punches, is very impressive for children. Such activity develops imagination, perseverance and stimulates the manifestation of interest in artistic and design work.

How to make a base for Santa's house

To make a strong blank for a model of an architectural structure, you can act in three ways:

Take a box of a suitable size, cut windows and doors on the side surfaces, build a roof from the upper plane;

Make all the details (walls, roof slopes) from a sheet of cardboard and glue them together;

Draw a blank on cardboard in the form of a sweep diagram, which will later be folded into a three-dimensional house.

When using the first method, it will be more convenient to first disassemble (stick) the bottom of the box and fold the structure itself so that you do not have to draw windows, doors and cut them out. Here, the main thing is to find a workpiece of a suitable size. If it is, it will greatly simplify the process of creating crafts. You can start decorating almost immediately.

The second method, the simplest and most understandable for a child: I drew one wall, the second, etc., cut everything out and glued it together. In this option, it is important to carefully and firmly connect the parts so that the house does not fall apart later and does not look like a sloping hut.

The third method is the most reliable, but here, without the help of an adult, a child is unlikely to cope. Here, you need to show design skills by imagining how to assemble a three-dimensional thing from a flat sheet using folds. As a sample, you can take a box of any size that has been disassembled to a flat blank and draw a template of the scale that suits you. If there is no extra box that can be pasted, find on the Internet a drawing of any square or rectangular package and use this scheme.

New Year's crafts should look festive and elegant. To do this, it makes sense to work in the following sequence:

When you have made cardboard blanks, paint them in suitable colors;

Cut out platbands, doors from decorative paper and glue them in place;

Make strips from corrugated cardboard and stick on the corners of the structure. This will be an imitation of logs;

You can cover the roof with cotton pads;

Fill the space around the house with cotton wool, white napkins soaked in PVA or other material that imitates snow;

Make snowflakes and stars with a figured hole punch. Stick them on the house;

Collect a fence from sticks;

Arrange the figures of New Year's characters, Christmas trees;

Decorate the craft with sparkles, glue poured beads or sequins.

In a word, decorating a house is an exciting creative process. Fantasize to your health!

How to make a Santa Claus house in the form of a collage

If you don't have the time or enough cardboard to build a three-dimensional house, you can do the same in relief using the appliqué technique. Let the child first make a drawing of "Santa Claus's House" on a dense base, and then cut and paste together the same decor that was described in the instructions for decorating the three-dimensional structure. This option is much faster and easier to do. By the way, with such a collage, in which a drawing and an application are combined, you can decorate a New Year's card.

As you can see, you can make a beautiful house of Santa Claus with your own hands in both volumetric and embossed versions. Both methods allow you to create spectacular things that are suitable as a task for children in kindergarten or school, and will also be a great gift from a child, for example, for grandparents for the New Year.

December 16th, 2012 02:35 am

It's time to start actively preparing for the upcoming holidays, and therefore my today's master class will be devoted to how to make such a house with surprises or, in other words, an advent calendar, although, of course, it is not quite right to call it a calendar, because. there are no numbers on it, but this is not the main thing here;)

Before you start, I’ll say that it’s really possible to do it in 1 day (and if you get help, it’s even faster) and it’s much easier than it seems!

Initially, I wanted to make such a house out of wood, but as always, without doing anything, I decided to get by with cardboard. I'm lucky! I found a perfectly matching puzzle box! If you do not have one, just assemble something similar from separate pieces of cardboard

Let's deal with the bottom of the box first. Let's draw it into the number of squares (future cells) we need, leaving a place for the "scene" on top. We cut off the upper edge of the box from its bottom and cut the resulting strip in the middle. this is our future roof, which we lengthen and connect with a strip of cardboard of the same width.

Now we need to make a grid for the cells. To do this, we cut the cardboard into strips of the desired length and width, then at the intersections we make cuts to the middle of the strip. Assemble your mesh to make sure the locations and depths of the cuts are correct.
If you, like me, use cardboard "from under something", prime it, after which it can be decorated. Personally, I covered everything with decoupage paper, but because I'm far from being a great decoupage artist, I didn't photograph the process;))

Now the lid of the box. It must be cut off in that place. where will the "scene" be, so that when you close the box again you can see it;)
Again we draw places for cells and, most importantly, doors! Then we make cuts, taking into account how you see the opening of the doors. I cut like this. that would be bent like a regular door, but it can open up and down!

We assemble, or rather close our box, having previously smeared the sides of the box with glue, and wrap it tightly with threads for better pressing. We leave to dry.

And also, while our box dries, we cut out a triangle from cardboard to close the hole and glue it. I glued it on masking tape, but you can also glue it with plain paper.

By the way, the photo shows that a window has already been cut out in the box (as well as a door that is not visible here). It is really better to cut them out during the assembly process of the box.

Inside the "scene" we make the floor, I also fixed it with masking tape.

When the glue is dry (make sure everything sticks), prime the box well. There are already 2 layers of soil in the photo! But there are almost no traces of the previous pattern of the box =)

Now that the preparatory stage is over (yes, it was just a preparatory stage, because everyone can assemble a box with a house, but what to do next with it!?)))) let's move on to composing the decor.

I always advocate using the materials already in the house, the main thing is to understand how best to use them!)

Having rummaged around with my child in the designer, I found excellent windows, a door and a fence! Now we need to give them the right look! Because the plastic does not really like to be painted, I recommend that you first prime it and then paint it in as many layers as you need for a beautiful look (I needed 2 layers)

It's all about the little things! Therefore, we will make such a pleasant trifle as a Christmas wreath on the door. To do this, we will make a ring out of wire, wrap it with a strip of green corrugation (fix the tip with glue), make a bow and glue it to the ring.

I will not modestly say this detail, I consider it my find! With the help of beads and buttons we will make door handles.
We glue the "moment" bead to the button and when the glue dries, cover them with gold paint.

In order to make a Christmas tree in a house, I used a green corrugation, a light bulb as a base and plasticine, into which a light bulb is stuck to obtain stability. By the way, and here I was lucky, I found plasticine in a child, which becomes hard when it dries, but, of course, such plasticine is not necessary, the main thing is just to fix the light bulb.

The corrugation really does not like water (and everything liquid), so I fastened it with adhesive tape and only the very top I already glued with glue.

Sled! What is Santa Claus' house without Santa Claus? and what a frost without a sleigh!
We take matches and cut off the sulfur, put the sticks into the parts we need and coat WELL with PVA, when everything dries (leave for an hour, to be sure), we collect the parts together and paint over them.

Again, I was lucky, I found a deer (broken) in toys from Kinder Surprise, but since there is a sleigh, a deer is also needed. The deer was brown, I dyed it gray, then serrated it, painted the antlers gold and sprinkled it with gold glitters (sparkles).

We need thick cardboard, cut out the squares of the desired size, glue them, glue the sides with a strip of paper and ... draw a fireplace =)
For greater beauty, you can cut socks out of felt =)

Glue something transparent to the back wall to create the effect of glass. I glued the cellophane in which flowers are usually wrapped.

We glue corrugated cardboard to the roof. First you need to paint the cardboard to match the paper. We cut snow from fleece and also glue it =)

We glue the window, the door, if necessary, make "jambs" =)))

It's time to arrange and glue everything that we thought up

Having done this work, I’ll say that if it weren’t for the soil, the result would be much worse, so I still recommend purchasing it if you don’t have it. Or you can use white gouache... a lot of white gouache. But it must be dried well, otherwise when you apply a layer of already colored paint, it may mix.
Be sure to use a sharp knife so that the cuts are even and not torn. I did not have a very sharp knife and the result was torn edges that I had to sand to improve the look.
To do everything quickly, do not lose everything while the house dries in glue and in the ground, do stuff!
Before you start doing, go through your bottomholes =) to understand what and how you can do from what you have =)
The number of cells can be anything, you can do it like me, you can do it like a calendar, the numbers do not have to be from the 16th to the 31st
(2 weeks before New Year), it can be, for example, from 31 to 10, in general it can be any numbers that you want to make a holiday for the child (or who you will do there))))

And... legend... what to tell the child?
We said that we made a house for Santa Claus, who will arrive on the night of December 15-16 and will live in our house until the new year. For every day that he lives with Ans, in gratitude, he gives us a small gift. Once a day, you can come up and open the door, taking a gift.

That's all! I hope you find it useful and... Happy New Year ;)

Master class "New Year's luminous house"

Perevodova Olga Vasilievna, teacher-defectologist of the Municipal state-owned preschool educational institution "Kindergarten No. 92" of the compensating type of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region
Purpose: The luminous house can be used by teachers, parents to decorate the interior of the room for the New Year, and it can also be used in various dramatization games to create a fabulous situation.
Target: development of artistic and creative abilities of teachers and parents, drawing attention to the creative design of the interior of the premises for the holiday.
I bring to your attention a master class on making a New Year's luminous house out of the box.
Necessary materials:
box
adhesive tape
cotton pads or synthetic winterizer
a piece of transparent cloth or paper
colored and white cardboard
Scotch
glue ("Moment Crystal" transparent)
scissors
stationery knife
electric christmas garland

House building process:

Open the lid of the box, fasten it with adhesive tape.

Paste the box (except for the roof) with self-adhesive film on all sides.

Glue cotton pads on the eaves of the house (under the roof).

Make a ceiling by pasting cardboard of the appropriate size with a self-adhesive film.

Cut out window templates from cardboard. With their help, from 3 sides of the future house, outline the location of the windows. On the 4th side there will be a hole for the garland.

Carefully cut out the windows along the lines with a clerical knife. You can use a ruler so that the knife does not go to the side.

From a transparent fabric (tulle), cut blanks (1 cm larger than windows) - these are “curtains”. Stick them on windows.

From cardboard or self-adhesive film, cut strips for the frame of each window (0.5 cm - a strip for the middle of the frame, 1 cm - for the edge). Glue the strips directly onto the tulle.

Cut strips 1 cm wide from white cardboard or self-adhesive film. Paste window frames with them - this is a “platband”.

Finish the roof. Glue it with cotton pads in a checkerboard pattern from the bottom up (if desired, cotton pads can be replaced with synthetic winterizer).

Through the hole in the back, put an electric Christmas tree garland into the house. With adhesive tape, it can be attached to the inside of the ceiling so that the light diverges more evenly.

Here's what the house turned out to be.

To create a winter composition using a luminous house, I needed Christmas trees, cones, a Snow Maiden doll on a sled, and birds.

I look at my luminous New Year's house, how it pleases the eye and cheers up!
I recommend not to turn on the garland for a long time in order to comply with fire safety rules.

Hello dear readers! By the New Year, store shelves are traditionally filled with themed decorations - Christmas balls, garlands, tinsel, snow globes, miniature decorative houses.

Moreover, a number of goods sold in the relevant departments can be made independently without much difficulty and expense. We considered how to make rope balls, but today we will make such a small winter house:

What is needed to implement the idea.

It is necessary to prepare: thick cardboard or expanded polystyrene sheets (sold in packages in hardware stores, it’s simply an accordion under the laminate, the material is perfectly cut and glued), glue moment gel, scissors, stationery knife, ruler, pencil, cotton wool, rhinestones, 7 cm of rope, PVA glue, two 3 cm pieces of thin wire, 2 wooden skewers, a can of silver paint.

ATTENTION: for the manufacture of a miniature house, you can use thick cardboard, in this master class we replaced the cardboard with polystyrene foam sheets, but you can use ordinary cardboard!

The templates below will help you navigate, redraw them on plain paper, cut them out, apply them to sheets of polystyrene foam - circle them with a pencil, cut them out with a clerical knife, under the ruler. The following parts should be obtained: floor 1 pc, side walls 2 pcs, end and back parts 1 pc each, roof slopes 2 pcs.

We cut out a window on the back of the house, glue the house with a transparent glue moment, for this we glue the side walls to the “floor” part, then the end and back, and finally the roof slopes.

Prepare the rest of the decorative details.

Porch.

The photo below shows the details that need to be prepared, cut them out and glue them together.

Then we prepare the thresholds, the number of parts will depend on the height of the steps, in this example we cut out one wide rectangular layer, three narrow strips, glue all the details, forming steps, then apply the thresholds sideways to the expanded polystyrene sheet, circle, and cut out two identical side walls, which then glued to their rightful place.

Cut out a rectangular piece - the door. We glue the door, thresholds and porch visor to the house, on the sides on the first step we glue two wooden skewers, which also need to be glued to the bottom of the visor.

Chimney.

We cut out a rectangular template, form a chimney out of it, apply it to one of the slopes on the roof (from the side), put a mark on the chimney template according to the level of the roof slope. We cut off the chimney template according to the left mark, glue it, apply it to a sheet of polystyrene foam and circle it with a pencil, cut it out, cut all the details with a clerical knife, which we then glue together in the form of a chimney. The resulting chimney is glued to one of the roof slopes. The whole process of making a chimney is shown in the photo below.

Bench.

We cut out the necessary details from polystyrene foam or cardboard, depending on what material you decide to use a decorative house to make your craft. From the wire we form handles for the bench. We glue the parts into a single whole, namely the back of the bench, seat, legs and handrails.

Ladder.

We cut out the details of the future miniature staircase - two long side strips and 5 rung-steps. We glue all the details together.

Sled.

Cut out the necessary details (see the photo below). We glue the sleigh runners, glue the parts “for sitting” to them, at the end we glue the rope.

The photo below shows the details that need to be prepared for pasting the space around the window (like shutters). We cut out a square from polystyrene foam, retreat from the edge inward on each side by 7 mm, draw an inner square, which we cut out with a clerical knife and a ruler. We cut the resulting frame in the corners, and glue the parts around the window.

Painting.

The house, as well as all the above details, must be painted. The winter house craft will look even more impressive if you use several shades of paint, for example, white and silver. In this example, one paint color was used, namely silver, since the main undertone of the material used obviously looks very impressive, after painting the product resembles ice sparkling in the sun.

ATTENTION: if you took polystyrene foam as a basis, then when painting, do not overdo it with the amount of paint, it must be applied in thin layers from a long distance, otherwise the chemical composition of the paint will simply corrode the cute, small winter house.

Create a snowy effect.

We take a shallow container, pour PVA glue into it, split the cotton wool into thin small layers, immerse them in glue, squeeze out the excess adhesive, and glue them to the roof surface. According to this scheme, we cover the entire surface of the roof, including the chimney, in addition, you can “snow” the corners of the house, a bench, a stepladder, a sled. Leave the product to dry for about 24 hours.

Miniature pots with snow globes.

The front entrance to the house can be decorated with flower pots with "snow balls". We cut the woolen threads into segments 1 cm long (15-20 pieces will be enough), take a large bead, wrap it with foil, soak all the threads for 5 minutes in PVA glue, and put it on the bead in foil, forming an openwork vase. We leave to dry, near the heating battery the product will dry out somewhere in 4 hours. Such planters need to prepare 2 pcs. We remove the dried planters from the beads, carefully separating the foil, paint them from a spray can, glue the hanging ropes on the sides. Then we form balls from cotton wool according to the size of the pots, lightly coat them with PVA glue and put them in miniature pots. On the sides of the door, with an awl, we create punctures, where we insert small pieces of toothpicks, fixing them with glue for a moment, and we hang flower pots with snow balls on them.

Street lamp.

Of course, it will not glow, but it will play a decorative role. We take the lid from a transparent box with glitter-sand for nails, paint it with silver paint and glue it to the end of the veranda.

Rhinestones will play the role of snowflakes shining in the sun, so we glue them wherever improvised snow is present - a roof, a bench, a ladder, a porch, sills, side walls of the house, snow balls in a cache-pot. In addition, we select a rhinestone larger than the rest and glue it on the door, it will play the role of a door handle.

As a result of all the efforts, a chic winter house craft is obtained, which will significantly transform the fireplace or bookshelf, festive table or space under the Christmas tree.

It's been raining for more than a week, you can't go outside. So you have to come up with something to entertain the children.

Today's mine master-class will be devoted to how to make something like this house.

Before I start, I'll tell you that it's easy to do in one evening. (and if they help you, then even faster).

I needed:

Cardboard box;

colored paper;

Disposable wipes (white);

I found a perfectly suitable box, it can be of any shape and size. I cut out the window, glued it with blue paper. Then I made shutters out of napkins. I glued the roof, a triangle, and two napkins on top.

Hello dear friends! Today, Santa Claus came to our children! True, he is still small, but this is not for long - before the New Year.

It seems that it’s not close to the New Year yet (but it actually only seems so, but the birthday of the main New Year’s character is Santa Claus.

I was very lucky! I work with children from 2.5-3 years old. We still have no doubt that Santa Claus exists! He will definitely come with his granddaughter.
