Warm slippers with your own hands patterns. Patterns with sizes of slippers home master class. stage: piercing holes

Winter at all times was famous not only for the cold weather outside, but also for the cozy, warm atmosphere in the house. At such a time, you want to warm not only yourself, but also those who are next to you. So why not sew warm slippers for your household? In this article, you will learn several ways of how to sew fur slippers with your own hands, patterns will help you quickly figure out all the nuances, in the end - you will spend a minimum of time and money on this.

Cozy home accessory

For the work ahead, you should stock up on some materials:

  • Finished pattern - the process of making it will be described below.
  • Soft leather - will be used as an insole.
  • Fleece.
  • Decor elements are optional.

Important! Fur can be either artificial or natural.

In order to make a pattern, you can use two methods:

  • Print the finished one, then adjust it to fit your own leg or the leg of the person for whom the garment is being made.
  • Take old slippers and cut out two details along the contours - this method is much easier than the previous one.

Now you can go directly to the manufacture of the product. In order to sew slippers from fur with your own hands, to make patterns, you must follow this algorithm:

  1. Take one of the parts, cut it into two equal parts.
  2. Attach the resulting details to a sheet of paper, circle them.
  3. Now you need to measure the width of the flat part of the toe of the shoe, and then mark it with noticeable points, setting aside 40 mm from the edge. After that, you need to measure the length of the insole.
  4. Glue a rectangular piece to the resulting spout, cut out the middle in it. As a result, you will get a suitable pattern.
  5. Cut 6 main parts according to the patterns, adding 4 cm each for the allowances.
  6. Sew fur and fleece parts with allowances together so that the fur is inside the product. Then then sew on the fleece sole - there should be no allowance on it.
  7. Insert the fur blank into the fleece blank, sew, leaving space so that the product can be turned out (it is necessary that the fur is inside the sneaker).
  8. Sew up the product, sew on the leather insole.
  9. Decorate the slippers as you wish.

Ugg slippers from an old sheepskin coat

If there is an old sheepskin coat in your house that you are about to throw away, then do not rush to do this. You can give this seemingly unnecessary thing a new life, for example, sew slippers from an old sheepskin coat.

For further work you will need:

  • An old sheepskin coat.
  • Leather for the insole.
  • Ready-made patterns.
  • Strong, thick threads.
  • Decor elements.

Sewing master class

The process of their manufacture is not as complicated as it seems at first glance:

  • The first step is to build a pattern of insoles. To do this, it is enough to circle your leg or the leg of the person for whom you are sewing slippers.
  • Transfer the resulting sketch to the prepared sheepskin coat.
  • Similarly, make the side parts of home shoes.

Important! When sewing the pieces, consider the ankle width and your standard shoe size.

  • Transfer the patterns to the material of the sheepskin coat, leaving about 1.5 cm for the seams.
  • Cut out the intended blanks and start sewing them together using the prepared strong threads.
  • Decorate the finished product to your liking.

The slippers are ready!

Classic slippers

After making a pattern for the sole of the shoe and its top (this time it is simplified as much as possible), you can proceed to making slippers from fur with your own hands:

  • Cut the soles by adding 5 mm for the allowances.
  • Reduce the pattern of the gasket by 7 mm along its entire contour - this is necessary to avoid thickening of the seams.
  • Glue the leather soles together and trim all edges neatly.
  • Glue the sole along the edges with the upper part of the slippers with the seam outward, remembering to align the control marks.

Important! If the model is closed, then you need to additionally add an excess length of the part from above along the toe. If it is open, it is necessary to adjust the length of the upper part so that the leg is tightly held in the sneaker.

  • Connect the top of the product and the sole.

The product is ready!

Important! The seam can be covered with a decorative leather braid or other decorative element that suits your style. You can use a glue gun that is designed specifically for handicrafts to keep the trims well-secured.

Slippers are comfortable indoor shoes. Unfortunately, store options very often do not satisfy with their functionality and convenience. Therefore, you have to take this business into your own hands and make your own slippers. In addition, do-it-yourself slippers can be made as a special gift to someone, although the thing is uncommon, but the "warmth" of your hands is invested in it, which may be more pleasant than an ordinary store product.
We will tell you how to make slippers with your own hands in this article, while offering you several options. Choose which one is right for you.

Slippers "Lasso Slippers" by designer Gaspard Tiné-Berès

To create slippers, you need a piece of soft felt and a long cord.

The first step is to cut out a piece of felt. The base is made according to the size of the foot, the height of the sides of the slippers to your taste is 6-7 cm or more or less.

Then cut out the instep of the foot. Probably, it is worth first doing the pattern operation on the auxiliary material, and when it suits you, cut out the felt. Well, then, just tie the parts of the slippers with a string.

That's all, actually.

Knitted slippers with your own hands

You will need perforated insoles, a piece of fabric, a hook and thread.

The insoles are applied to the fabric and cut out the inner part.

We sweep the fabric with the insole.

We knit the details of the slippers. Five air loops are recruited, and then adjusted to size.

The front of the slippers are decorated with knitted bows.

The edging is knitted ...

... and the back of the slippers.

Sew the front of the slippers to the sidewalls.

All is ready.

DIY Sunflower Slippers

As you can imagine, for such bright slippers you need felt of different colors. Prepare it. We take measurements from the legs and make a pattern.

Green felt is used to make the sole, heel, and forefoot. Yellow felt is used for the sole and for making sunflowers. Brown felt is also used to make sunflower. Then we sew the apron and the back to the sole with the welt stitch. The green sole and the yellow sole are also welded or glued.
How to make a sunflower is probably not worth telling. Everything is pretty obvious.

As you can see, we have got unusual bright slippers.

DIY Floral Ornament Slippers

We take measurements from the legs and make a pattern.

The yellow felt is used to make the outsole and forefoot. Cut out the soles of the slippers from brown felt. Sew the front part to the brown sole. Then the yellow part of the sole is sewn or glued on. And the final touch is sewing on the braid. Choose the ornament yourself.

Slippers "Roses" do it yourself

Pink fleece, pink lining, white felt, satin ribbons half a centimeter wide will be used. We take measurements from the legs and make such a pattern.

The tops of the slippers are cut out of fleece, details for the tongue are cut out of the lining fabric. The soles and edges of the slippers are cut out of white felt. In the places of the cut, we connect the parts with a pink ribbon with horizontal stitches and sew the edges of the slippers both above and below. Then we sew the top of the slipper with a satin ribbon. We glue the second layer of the sole. The top of the slippers can be decorated with some kind of satin flower.

Another option for DIY home slippers

We prepare insoles, natural leather, awl, threads, glue.

Attaching the insole to the skin, cut out two leather insoles (our skin is blue)

Then, between two leather insoles, put a foam or felt insole and fasten it with drops of glue. And then we neatly overcast the edges of the sole.

Now we make the top of the slippers. You need to know the width of the entry and the distance from the thumb to the entry point.

We cut out two leather blanks according to the pattern made.

We sew the edges of the upper parts like at the sole - in a single crochet.

The next step is stitching the parts together.

And the last step is gluing the foam sole.

In fact, there are a great many options for house slippers, we have given only a part of the possible options. Perhaps you will come up with something of your own or use an existing idea, in any case, these slippers will turn out to be special, we are sure of this.

In order to sew them, you can take a special pattern for printing on thermal transfer under the cut. Its use greatly simplifies and speeds up the process and reduces to almost zero all possible difficulties and errors in cutting parts.
In addition to the pattern, you will need a light felt for transferring the transfer, any suitable (I only had white today) felt for the insole and, my main inspiration this week is a cork sheet. In this case, 3 mm thick. Well, glue, I liked the most to use the "Moment Crystal".

The first step is to transfer the pattern to felt. Due to the fact that recently they began to ask me more questions about translation technology, I will allow myself to say a little more about it today.
To begin with, we will need to place the pattern with the front side in felt and heat the iron to almost maximum temperature. With a hot iron, we begin to iron the sheet thoroughly, not skipping the edges of the corner.

In my opinion, it is better to slightly overheat the iron and notice during ironing that the felt has begun to melt (this is not an instant process and you will always have time to slightly weaken the heating, nothing terrible will happen), than to iron everything with a cold iron and get a fragmentary translated image, the the most spoiling both the pattern and the felt.

Let’s stroke the entire structure for about a minute, then cool it to a slightly warm state and remove the top checkered layer of paper. The picture is translated.

Cut out the details of the slippers without seam allowances.

Since I made the pattern as versatile as possible, I adhered to the principle "more is better than less." Therefore, at this stage of work, I recommend trying it on at least approximately and, if it turns out to be more than necessary, cut it lateral sides as shown in the photo. The size of the top and bottom, as a rule, does not need to be reduced, only if these are slippers for the baby.

Place the patterns for both slippers on a piece of felt. It is no longer necessary to take white, you can use any color.

And we attach the details with a semicircular seam. Top edge only.

Now we cut out the details along the contour, getting a double top for future slippers.

Now we need a pattern for the insole. It is very easy to get it. It is enough just to circle your foot on a sheet of paper with a decent margin, or simply take any ready-made slippers that you think are the most comfortable and circle the sole of them.

We only outline the insole, but do not cut it out. It turned out to be more convenient for me to sew in this sequence.
Now we sweep the double top of the slipper. We sweep in two approaches, starting each of them from the middle of the sock.

It will be very easy to stitch the top over the sour cream. After machine sewing, you can pull out the basting thread.

Now the slippers with the insole can be cut out, retreating 2-3 mm from the edge of the stitching. We do the same with the second slipper.

Now is the time to start the final phase. We will make the sole for the slippers. After various searches for suitable material, I settled on a traffic jam. As practice has shown, this material is quite easy to use and very lightweight. It is very practical to wear, especially in the glued version. Cork has good shock-absorbing properties and even a thin layer of it is sufficient to make slippers comfortable to use.
We take the glue and properly lubricate the bottom surface of the felt insole. The glue, among other things, perfectly stabilizes the cork, reducing its brittleness and preventing the possibility of cracking in the event of bending in the future.

We glue the insole to the cork sheet. We cut it out roughly enough, just to be able to put on the clips.

The cork is glued well and quickly, after the glue is firmly seized, you can remove the clips and cut the slippers along the contour of the insole.

You can stop at this stage of the work or additionally sew the perimeter of the slipper on a sewing machine. The cork is very easy to sew despite its thickness.

That's all, the slippers are ready. In the next photo, I tried to demonstrate that the cork glued to the felt is strong enough to bend.

Slippers turned out like this:

At any time of the year, such shoes as slippers are relevant. In summer, the leg in them rests from sandals, and in winter they do not allow to freeze. We suggest that you make it attached to each master class.

Template preparation

Whatever slippers you sew, in order to simplify the sewing process, at the first stage you need to make a pattern of the foot.

Operating procedure:

  1. Take cardboard, marker and scissors.
  2. Place a piece of cardboard on the floor and place your foot on top.
  3. Draw a marker around the foot. Do not press the felt-tip pen close to your foot.
  4. Carefully cut the track along the outline.

The pattern is ready. Now you can apply this footprint to any fabric and sew slippers. If you need to sew slippers of a different size, then simply reduce or increase the pattern.

One Piece Closed Toe Slippers

A one-piece pattern is very simple. To build it, you need to take a marker and a suitable thick fabric (for example, felt or fleece).

Master Class:

  1. Place the template on the selected material and circle it. Draw the elements as in the illustration above.
  2. Cut the part along the contour.
  3. Fold over the piece and sew along the edge.
  4. Twist the slippers carefully.
  5. Make another slipper in the same way.

Optionally, you can add a lining. To do this, in the same way, make a pair of slippers out of thin fabric and sew the two parts together.

Slippers from an old sweater

You can sew slippers out of an old sweater with your own hands. Patterns are not needed for them, it is enough just to have a foot pattern.

Sewing master class:

  1. Take an old sweater and cut off the sleeves.
  2. Fold the sweater and attach the mold to it.
  3. Circle the pattern and cut out the soles of future slippers. In total, you need four such parts.
  4. Sweep the soles together in two. This will make the slippers thicker.
  5. Sew one sleeve and one sole together. This can be done with thick threads and interesting stitches. This will create a decorative stitching. Or you can use simple stitches, then the slippers will need to be turned out.
  6. Stitch or hem the top of each shoe to keep the threads from falling off.

Children's slippers

Of course, a child can make the same slippers as an adult, just a smaller size. But it is much better to make interesting and unusual children's slippers with your own hands. Make patterns based on the child's leg.

Master class on creating children's slippers:

  1. Cut out three pairs of soles, two from fleece or felt and one from softer material.
  2. Cut out one pair of the top section of the slippers. It should be slightly wider than the sole so that the slippers can easily be put on the foot.
  3. Additionally, cut out two pairs of ears and one pair of spouts.
  4. Cut out the letters "P" and "L" so that the child can distinguish the right from the left.
  5. Sew all three insoles together. The soft part should be in the middle.
  6. Sew a nose to each top of the slippers, embroider eyes or glue buttons on the sides of it, make a mouth.
  7. Fold the ears in half and also sew them to the top of the sneakers, slightly stepping back from the edge.
  8. Sew the upper and outsole together.
  9. Sew the letter "L" to one insole and "P" to the other.

Slippers-boots

Slippers-felt boots are very comfortable and warm home shoes that are ideal in the cold season.

Do-it-yourself slippers pattern (Figure 1) is done as follows:

  1. Circle your leg on a piece of paper or use a pre-prepared template.
  2. Draw one rectangle. This detail is a sneaker cuff. Therefore, the dimensions of the rectangle depend on the characteristics of your leg: the length should be enough for the slippers to dress easily and not jump off, and the width is at your discretion.
  3. Draw a detail that resembles a half sock. In length, it should be slightly larger than the sole of the sneaker.

When the pattern of self-made slippers is ready, you can start sewing shoes.

  1. Take a thick fabric (like felt) and fold it in half.
  2. Take any piece of fabric (like an old sweater) and fold it in two layers as well.
  3. Place the pattern on the fabric and trace around it with a marker or chalk.
  4. Cut out the details. In total, you should have the following number of elements: two soles, two cuffs and four “toes”.
  5. Connect one sole and two “toes” with pins.
  6. Tie or sew on details.
  7. Sew the cuff sneaker to the top.
  8. Turn out the finished sneaker.
  9. Sew the second "felt boot" in the same way.

Ballet slippers

You will need to take the following materials to make these home slippers with your own hands:

  1. Pattern of the sole (foot pattern) and sides.
  2. Soft cloth (such as a bike or flannel).
  3. Batting or other similar filling fabric.
  4. Felt or any other fabric for the sole (you can buy a special non-slip fabric at a sewing store).
  5. Elastic.
  6. Threads, needle, scissors, marker.

Master class on raising sneakers:

  1. The pattern of slippers (made by hand) of this type consists of two parts: the sole and the side. Print the finished layout on paper or draw your own.
  2. Using the sole pattern, cut out two pieces from the insole, the filling and the sole (Figure 1).
  3. Cut out two pieces for the top of the slipper. To do this, fold the fabric in half with the right side facing in. Attach the pattern to the fold line and outline the outline. Two such details are needed (Figure 1).
  4. Carefully fold the two layers of the sole and attach the top piece to them with pins, as in illustration 2.
  5. Sharpen the details.
  6. Make a soft fabric lining for the sneaker in the same way (Figure 3).
  7. Sew two pieces together. The seam should run in two rows (Figure 4). This is necessary so that you can then insert the rubber band. So leave a small hole in the back.
  8. Turn out the sneaker and insert the elastic.
  9. Sew up the hole.

Home slippers are ready! You can decorate your socks with decorative pompons, roses or beads.

Home slippers are a great gift! Handmade with warmth and love, they will warm the legs for you and your loved ones!

I sewed these house slippers to all my family and friends. I have already sewn about fifty slippers! I determined the dimensions empirically, but it's better to check before opening.

Step 1. Cut out the details.

Slipper top details:

  • On the left in the photo there are 2 parts - this is the very top, it can be cut out of some beautiful fabric, not necessarily very strong. I usually cut out of faux fur (old coats are used!)
  • The 2 central parts are the lining, it serves for warmth. I usually cut it out of thin batting, which is sold in hardware stores, they still wash the floor with it.
  • On the right in the photo - these are the details that need to be cut out of fabric that will be pleasant to the body.

All details are cut out the same.

Details of the bottom of the slipper (sole):

  • On the left in the photo - this is the outer part of the sole, it needs to be cut out of thick, very durable fabric, I cut it out of the felt. From the same fabric I cut out "heels-heels".
  • The 2 center pieces are the lining for warmth and softness. I also cut it out of thin batting.
  • On the right in the photo is the inner part of the sole. It needs to be cut out of fabric that is both pleasant to the body and at the same time very durable. This part begins to penetrate the very first, especially under the heel.

Don't forget to cut out the details for the left and right legs.

Also for sewing you need to cut out strips of elastic fabric 3 cm wide... It is advisable to use synthetic fabric for this, it is stronger.

Step 2. We cut off the details of the top with pins.

Step 3. We lay a line from the seamy side, thereby fastening all 3 parts.

Step 4. If the upper part is made of faux fur, then it is necessary to trim off the excess fur along the edge. Cut off boldly, do not be afraid, the fur along the edge will still interfere with it. You can also cut off excess lining, in general, trim the entire part.

This photo shows a cropped part (left) and an uncut part (right).

Step 5. Now we take a strip of elastic fabric, apply it with the front side to the front side of the part to the inner edge and sew.

Step 6. Turn the strip to the wrong side and sew with the "Multiple zigzag" stitch (knitted stitch).

Stitch type:

View from the seamy side:

Step 7. From the seamy side, cut off the excess strip close to the line.

View of the upper part of the slipper from the seamy side:

Step 8. We put the inner part of the sole on the wrong side of our part, face down, while aligning the center marks (in the photo it is marked in blue). We cut it off with a pin.

Step 9. Align the side marks and pin them as well.

Step 10. Now you need to sweep the details.

Step 11. Laying a line with seamy side, thus holding the sole and the upper part together.

Step 12. Now we again take the strips of fabric and put them on the front side on the front side of the slipper. The beginning of the strip must be bent (see photo).

We lay the line:

End of line:

General form:

Step 13. Turn the strip on the wrong side of the slipper and lay the "Multiple zigzag" line. The slipper blank is ready.
