Star eternal fire from paper volumetric scheme. Bonfire for New Year's performance. How to make a felt fire

May 9? There are many ideas for crafts. Their main difference lies only in whether the work will be voluminous or flat. If in the case of a flat craft, everything is more or less clear (you can make an application), then how to make a model of an eternal flame with your own hands so that it is voluminous? In fact, everything turns out to be simple.

How to make a model of an eternal flame with your own hands?

The model of the eternal flame must necessarily consist of a star and a flame. Large crafts also contain a pedestal, which can be decorated with appropriate symbols (for example, the years of the Great Patriotic War and St. George's ribbon) and flowers (for example, red carnations that are relevant for this occasion).

We bring to your attention a master class on how to make paper out of paper with your own hands. We will write out the instructions step by step and post photos.

Tools and materials

To make an eternal fire from paper you will need:

  1. star pattern;
  2. cardboard (large sheets);
  3. red napkins or tissue paper;
  4. scissors or clerical knife;
  5. red or bronze paint (it is better to take gouache);
  6. brush;
  7. glue;
  8. ruler;
  9. pencil;
  10. Scotch;
  11. wallpaper with a pattern in marble.

When you have stocked up with materials, you can start a master class on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands, gradually making every detail of the craft, and then combining everything into one whole.

Stage 1 - star layout

Master class on how to make a model of a star for eternal flame with your own hands:

  1. Take a large piece of cardboard, scissors, glue or tape, a pencil, a ruler, paints, and a paintbrush.
  2. Place a dot in the center of the cardboard.
  3. Draw two perpendicular lines through the dotted line.
  4. Draw two more lines with a dotted line, which, when crossed, form the letter "X". They should be half the length of the first two.
  5. Connect all the vertices. You will have a star.
  6. Place a dot in the center of each side of the star, a few centimeters apart.
  7. Connect the vertices and the set points with a solid line.

As a result, you should have a shape like the one in the picture above. Cut it out along solid lines.

Stage 2 - star

Master class on how to make a star for eternal flame with your own hands:

  1. Take a star mockup and cut it out.
  2. Bend the star layout inward along the long axes.
  3. Spread out the layout.
  4. Bend the star layout outward along the short axes.
  5. Spread out the layout.
  6. Give the layout the shape of a three-dimensional star thanks to the resulting fold lines.
  7. Connect the protruding parts together, which should serve as a support for the star. This can be done either with glue if the tabs overlap, or with tape.
  8. Flip the star and paint it red or

Stage 3 - fire

  1. Take three napkins or
  2. Draw a mock-up of fire on one piece of paper. Its shape can be different, for example, as in the picture.
  3. Stack the paper.
  4. Cut out the layout of the fire along the contour.
  5. Fold the resulting sheets together in layers. Each next layer should be slightly lower than the previous one.
  6. Cut off the leftovers at the bottom.
  7. Twist the bottom of the paper and secure it with thread or tape.

The flame for the star is ready!

Stage 4 - pedestal

Despite the fact that instructions have already been given on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands, the master class will be incomplete if you do not mention how to make a pedestal. After all, it is also part of the layout. In our case, the pedestal consists of two parts: the first will stand, the other will lie. It is on the latter that the star with the flame will be located.

Instructions on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands - the first part of the pedestal:

  1. Take a piece of cardboard, pencil, ruler, and scissors.
  2. Lay the sheet upright in front of you.
  3. Draw a strip from the edge, small in width, but long, for the entire height of the sheet. You will have the first strip.
  4. Mark the distance from the line, which will be equal to the width of the finished star (or will be slightly larger).
  5. By plotting this width, you get the second strip.
  6. Make another strip, which will be the same width as the first. Stripe number 3 will come out.
  7. Draw a fourth strip that is the same width as the second.
  8. Make stripe # 5 equal to strips # 1 and 3.
  9. Fold all 5 strips.
  10. Make a box along the folds, only without the top and bottom.
  11. Glue strips 1 and 5 together.
  12. Make small cuts on one side at the folds of the thin sides of the box.
  13. Close the box.

The first part of the pedestal is ready. It can be either painted or pasted over with marbled wallpaper.

The second part of the pedestal is done similarly to the first, only there are a number of features:

  • The width of the second part should be equal to the width of the first.
  • The height should be slightly higher than the first one. This is done quite simply: increase the size of the side walls.
  • The second box must be closed on both sides.

After you assemble the second part of the pedestal, decorate it with paint or wallpaper.

Stage 5 - collecting all the details

When all the components - the flame, the star and two parts of the pedestal - are completely dry, you can start assembling them.

Operating procedure:

  1. Place the second piece of plinth on a table or other surface.
  2. Place the first piece on the second, close to the edge. You can fix it with tape.
  3. Make a small hole in the center of the star. This is most conveniently done with a thick needle or awl.
  4. Insert the flame into the resulting hole. This must be done carefully so as not to tear the parts. To do this, you can help yourself with a needle or a toothpick.
  5. Place a star in the center of the lower part of the pedestal, having previously greased its support with glue.
  6. Spread out the flame.

The eternal flame is almost ready.

Completing the "Eternal Flame" craft

The above master class on how to make an eternal fire out of paper with your own hands in stages, also implies decorating the craft with flowers and inscriptions.

Instructions on how to make paper carnations:

  1. Take red corrugated or tissue paper of red and green colors, wire.
  2. Wrap the wire tightly with green paper, securing the ends with glue. The stalk is ready.
  3. Fold several sheets of red paper into a stack (about three to five).
  4. Fold the paper into an accordion fold.
  5. Wrap a stem around the middle of the accordion.
  6. Trim the edges of the accordion, giving it a sharp shape.
  7. Carefully smooth out each accordion layer.
  8. Fluff up the flower.

One clove is ready. Do a few more as shown.

Now you can decorate the pedestal with an inscription.

Operating procedure:

  1. Take cardboard, ruler, pencil, scissors and red paint with a brush.
  2. Draw two parallel straight lines on the cardboard, keeping in mind that the distance between them is equal to the size of the future letters and numbers.
  3. Draw the following and numbers between the resulting lines, which should be the same in width: 1, 9, 4, 1, 1, 9, 4, 5, P, O, M, N, I, M, G, O, R, D , I, M, S, Ya.
  4. Cut out all numbers and letters.
  5. Paint the parts with red paint.
  6. Let the parts dry well.
  7. Print out an image of the order with the St. George ribbon, or find such an image on postcards.
  8. Cut the image along the outline.
  9. Glue the numbers and letters in the correct order on the pedestal (for example, as in the photo), and also place a picture of the order and the St.George ribbon.

Place the carnations next to the star. The Eternal Flame paper craft is ready! To prevent the craft from spoiling:

  • Place it on a flat board.
  • It is better to wipe the dust from the craft not with a cloth, but with a special brush. Then the parts will not be damaged.
  • Choose a place where there will be an eternal flame, without straight lines. Otherwise, the paper will burn out and lose its brightness.

We hope that you understand everything in the step-by-step description of how to make an eternal flame with your own hands. The master class is over!

Add your own ideas to your craft, such as print out pictures of soldiers, stick them onto cardboard and cut them out, leaving a support. Place the resulting figures next to the eternal flame.

Victory Day is a grandiose holiday, especially for our citizens. The task of the older generation is for children to understand the essence of the holiday itself, know the history of the war and prevent similar fascism in the future.

On the eve of this great Victory Day holiday, schools and kindergartens practice stories about the war, reading books on military topics and watching documentaries. Along with this, they make all kinds of crafts, postcards and applications for May 9. The simplest applications for children by May 9 are the image of the corresponding symbols from colored paper - stars, doves, carnations, St. George's ribbons. More complex applications for Victory Day are already voluminous postcards with the same symbols.

To work you will need:

  • scissors;
  • colored paper;
  • corrugated paper for complex applications;
  • PVA glue (or pencil);
  • cardboard (white or colored depending on the theme).

Simple applications for May 9 for children

The simplest applications for children by May 9 are flat pictures with the symbols of the holiday. Victory Day postcards usually depict:
  • pigeons;
  • sprigs of greenery;
  • St. George ribbon;
  • a star (or many stars);
  • the outline of the Kremlin;
  • fireworks;
  • carnations;
  • bouquets of flowers;
  • flowering branches of trees;
  • images associated with the war: soldiers' helmets, machine guns, tanks, airplanes.

All of these images can be placed on A4 sheets or on colored paper, for example, blue, which serves as the sky. We have selected several applique patterns that you can print for free, and then cut out with your child and stick on.

The dove on postcards for the Victory Day always means peace, which means it must be necessarily white. And, therefore, the background can be used in color.

The next symbol of victory is the St. George ribbon. St.George ribbon templates can also be downloaded and printed on a color printer, or you can cut strips out of orange and black colored paper and glue them yourself.

Please note: the St. George ribbon has 3 black stripes and 2 orange stripes, black - along the edges of the ribbon and in the center.

In addition to pigeons and a ribbon on postcards for May 9, or for Victory Day, there may be a sprig of young greenery, a laurel bush or a flowering branch carried by a dove in its beak for children. For the execution of the twig, it is enough to cut out the leaves and the stalk and glue them on the paper. Or you can download the templates for the May 9 application below and print them on a color printer:

Another symbol of the victory of our people over fascism is the five-pointed star. A star can be cut simply from red colored paper, you can make multi-layered or voluminous (but more on that later). Star patterns can also be printed:

Using one of the above templates, you can already make an application with a child by May 9:

You can download the archive with the scheme and templates for this Victory Day application here: (3.2 Mb).

You can also use Kremlin templates:

and arrange multi-colored fireworks over the Kremlin.

The next symbol of victory is eternal flame (templates):

Volumetric applications for children by May 9

Volumetric appliques look pretty impressive, since older children can perform them. The technique for making volumetric details is simple, you can even make carnations, fireworks, clouds or the sun from napkins. For volumetric applique by May 9, you can use any elements of scrapbooking, quilling and origami techniques, real St. George ribbons:

A voluminous five-pointed star made of colored paper looks very impressive:

A template for such a star can be downloaded and executed according to the scheme:

Bend the star along the dotted lines, and glue it to the base with white areas.

The star looks no less original in the quilling technique:

How to make bulky paper carnations

Volumetric flowers always look original on a flat surface. A similar technique can be used both for postcards and for applications with children. Carnations are always chosen as flowers on postcards or appliques for May 9.

How to make voluminous paper carnations with your own hands? To make these flowers, you can use corrugated paper or the origami technique.

For a paper napkin carnation, we need:

  • three-layer red paper napkins;
  • scissors;
  • threads;
  • glue for gluing to the base.

If you use paper napkins, then from one you get 8 flowers with a diameter of 6-7 cm.

Operating procedure:

  1. Tear off 1 cm from each edge of the napkin around the perimeter.
  2. Tear each napkin in half to make 8 identical rectangles with torn edges.
  3. Fold each rectangle like an accordion and tie in the center with a thread (or secure with wire).
  4. Now you can start decorating the flower: carefully separate each layer of the napkin and fold it in the center, forming a carnation.

Bulky carnations can also be made from corrugated paper:

Operating procedure:

  1. Cut 4-6 circles with a diameter of 7-8 cm out of red corrugated paper;
  2. Zigzag each circle around the edge;
  3. Place each circle through the center of a toothpick and form a flower.

Such carnations can be glued to the applique by May 9, by February 23, to the Independence Day of Russia.

You can also make a volumetric carnation for applique using the origami technique:

How can you make an eternal flame - DIY crafts?

    You can make an Eternal Flame inside a box of chocolates by first drawing it on paper, painting it and cutting it out with scissors. After the drawing is ready and cut out, it can be glued to a sheet of cardboard or packaging, a gift box, as well as an envelope or postal item. Such a small craft can be supplied with congratulatory inscriptions and invested in the main gift. It is not necessary to be limited only to this image. It would be appropriate to add other matching objects, such as flowers or festive ribbons, fireworks, and the like.

    In order to correctly make such a craft, you will need to draw all the necessary contours on a sheet of thick paper and cardboard. In order to help you cope with this task as quickly as possible and with a minimum investment of time, there are two videos that show the process of creating an image, as well as the process of adding a congratulatory inscription. These two videos are:

    Additionally, the Eternal Flame can be made from:

    To make a craft, you will need an empty candy box, colored paper, glue, pencils and felt-tip pens, scissors. We do not need a lid from the box. Berm just a box. The box will serve as a frame. Now we paste over it from the inside and from all sides with colored paper. Further, as shown in the attached video, we draw all the symbols and attributes, paint, cut out and glue it inside the box.

    Basically, if you want to make a surprise, you can make a gift in a box with a closed lid. Then you will first need to open the box, and inside it is not candy, but a craft. Here's an idea for craftsmen.

    To more fully answer the question posed, we can say that the Eternal Flame can be made from:

    made of snow and ice

    corrugated cardboard

    polymer clay

    from sweets in the form of cake and pastries

    from sweets

    made of paper in the form of a torch

    In addition, in order to better prepare for the holidays or for an occasion for which a gift or just a craft is being made, you can view the materials prepared in the next question.

    There are different options for crafts eternal flame ;, I found one that is not among those presented earlier.

    After all the manipulations, you get the following craft:

    The set of materials that will be needed is small, that's all that is required:

    The template for making crafts is already ready, the dimensions of the parts can be changed, the main thing is to observe the proportions:

    We cut out every detail:

    • a circle made of silver cardboard, bend it in half;
    • the star is brown, we also bend it in the middle, glue it on top of the silver circle;
    • cut out tongues of flame from red cardboard and glue both parts to each other;

    • cut out the yellow flames, glue on both sides to the red ones;
    • cut out small petals and form a branch from them, the craft is ready:

    Once at school, we cut a star out of polystyrene with a jigsaw, but you can also use a simple kitchen knife. Then they pasted over with gold foil. The flame was made from red paper. It turned out, of course, with anyone, but beautiful crafts also took place. One girl, for example, took another walnut shell, painted it over with thick green paint and pasted a red star out of paper. It turned out the helmet of the deceased soldier.By the way, if the foam is not at hand, you can glue several pieces of thick cardboard to add volume.

    I liked these crafts on this topic.

    One of them is made in the form of an application of plasticine and colored paper on cardboard (we draw a background on a cardboard basis with paints, then a star and fire with a pencil, then we make many small balls from plasticine and glue them to the surface of the cardboard, instead of plasticine, you can use colored foam balls) , cut flowers out of colored paper and glue them near the eternal flame

    and the second is made of dense material and a plastic bottle. Please note that a candle is inserted inside the bottle - it turns out almost like the original (only with a burning candle, be careful).

    Some crafts are so wonderful that it is simply impossible to pass by. You can make such a wonderful tank with a toy soldier out of foam, cardboard, corrugated paper:

    And you can limit yourself only to the image of the Eternal Flame:

    All the necessary instructions are here.

    The eternal flame is a very patriotic craft. Now there are fewer and fewer veterans and the younger generation can no longer always learn about war and victory firsthand. Previously, veterans were invited to schools, now almost no one has such an opportunity, so it is very important for teachers and parents to tell their children about all the hardships of the war and how important a glorious victory was and why this should be remembered. After all, it is very painful to look at the cases of Nazism, which are not at all uncommon in our time. By making crafts, the child will be able to learn the history of his homeland in the form of a game.

    On the Internet, there is such a method for making a partiotic craft:

    The craft consists of two parts, a three-dimensional star and a flame. We cut out the tongues of flame from red and orange paper, at the final stage they will need to be glued to the star. To make a star, you need a sheet of yellow (or gold) thick paper. Detailed manipulations are well displayed in the photo:

    (photos taken on the Stranasters website, author of MamaRoma):

    Models of the eternal flame and compositions with an eternal flame can be made of paper, salt dough. There are different options for performing such a craft. I will give some examples.

    Option 1 Fig. 1.

    This craft is made from foil and corrugated paper. From Foil we make a star according to the template below. Make a hole in the center of the star and attach the star to the base (a circle made of cardboard, or you can use a disk). In the center we attach fire from corrugated paper. Flowers laid to the eternal flame can be added to this composition.

    Option 2 Fig. 2.

    This version presents a composition with an eternal flame and laid flowers and wreaths. This craft is made of paper and orange mesh. The star is also made according to the template. The wreaths are made using facing technique.

    Option 3. Eternal flame on a pedestal.

    For the pedestal, you can use foam or boxes that are wrapped in paper. We make a star according to the template presented above, attach the fire to the fire from the paper. We decorate the composition with flowers.

    Eternal fire made of salt dough.

    1. From salted dough we make a basis for crafts.
    2. We sculpt a star and attach it to the base.
    3. Next, we make fire, flowers from the dough and also attach them to the craft.
    4. We place the fashioned craft in the oven to dry.
    5. We paint the craft and - it's done!

    You can also see:

    I suggest you to make a craft Eternal flame with your child from ordinary colored cardboard. To do this, we need colored cardboard: red for the fire, orange and black for the St. George ribbon and silver for the star itself, green cardboard for the background of the postcard, foil. Some scissors, glue, a ruler and a simple pencil, a cork from a plastic bottle and plasticine, a small piece.

  • For Victory Day, you can make a craft Eternal flame from polystyrene, a plastic bottle, maxisol (heat-insulating material) or foil.

There is nothing better than sitting by the fire and listening to the wood crackling. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to start a real fire, especially where it is dangerous to do so - for example, on stage during a performance or at a party at someone's home. However, for such situations, you can always make an artificial fire or simulated flame. Read our article first.

Steps

Simulating fire with a cloth and a fan

    Cut the "flame" out of the fabric. You will need a fan to fan the fabric, creating a flame effect. "Fire" can be of any size, everything will depend on the size of the fabric and the place where it will be located. So take this into account.

    • You have several options for how you can make a flame. You can cut the fabric into many thin strips, or simply cut one piece in the shape of a fire. You can even make a 3-D flame from a piece of cloth folded in half to form a tarpaulin with an open bottom and vents at the top to allow air to escape.
  1. Secure the fabric to the wood slats. The fabric at the base should be attached to the wood strip to hold it in place when you turn on the fan. Take the pieces of fabric that will represent the flames and attach them to the wooden strip using a stapler or duct tape. The pieces can be attached to a single batten, but use multiple battens for the best effect.

    • For a 3D flame, attach each side of the fabric separately so that the air blown by the fan inflates the fabric better.
    • Note: Attach fabric along the entire strip, not just at the ends.
  2. Place slats with cloth in the place where you will have fire. Place the slats on a wire shelf or large basket. The slats should be directly above the fan. Lay the slats parallel to each other with the wider side of the fabric facing the audience.

    Place a fan under the slats. Place the fan under the slats and adjust it so that it blows straight up onto the fabric. If you put the slats on the grate, place the fan directly underneath it. If the slats are on the basket, place the fan on the bottom of the basket.

    • It will be easiest for you to place the fan near an electrical outlet so that the cord is not visible.
    • Place lighting fixtures under the fabric slats. Light the fabric with red, orange, or yellow bulbs. You can rent special devices that are used in theaters, or you can take ordinary flashlights and attach colored glass or film to them.

      Check how your fire looks from the outside. Turn off the lights in the room, then turn on the light and fan. If you've done everything correctly, the backlit fabric should look like flames. If this does not happen, then make the necessary adjustments to your fire.

    • Spectators should not see the fan and light bulbs. So cover them with wood, which you can sprinkle with ash for believability.

      • If you do not have real firewood at hand, then you can make it yourself from foam pipes or from thick paper.
      • In order to create the effect of shimmering coals, fold the Christmas garland under the “flame”. The effect is best if you find a garland of red or orange bulbs, or if you wrap them in red or orange foil.

      How to simulate fire with paper and a flashlight

      1. Use tissue paper to create a flame. You can make any shape of flames from red, yellow, and orange tissue paper. Then glue the sheets together into one bud, resembling a fire. Here is one of the easy ways to make tongues of flame out of paper:

        • Place a clean sheet of tissue paper in front of you on the table. Gently press the middle of the sheet against the table with your finger. Then quickly raise your hand up and gently catch the paper in the air. The paper will take the shape of a bud or tongue of flame. Be careful not to remember the paper.
      2. Use paper towels to make firewood. You can draw a wood grain pattern on them with a marker. Long rolls can be cut in half to keep your logs the same size.

        • If you have time, try soaking paper towels lightly in water and kneading them with your hands. Let them dry before painting them. The rolls will look much more realistic.

about the importance of this event. We come up with different ways of how we read, watch movies, do something with our own hands. Today I propose to make a craft together with the children - the Eternal Flame memorial.

so , Eternal flame - a symbol of the unfading glory of those who fought for our freedom. Our memory of their heroism and deeds. Our respect and gratitude to all those who fell in battles and survived these terrible days of our history ...

And for the craft we need:

  • double-sided colored paper
  • table napkins red and green
  • toothpicks or skewers
  • scissors
  • shoe box cover.

We take the cover from the shoe box. We glue it over with black paper (you can paint it with paints, or leave it unchanged if it is black). This is our future pedestal for the Eternal Flame.

Cut out a three-dimensional star from orange paper. Read more about this.

And we cut fire out of red paper. In the center of the star we make a small hole and pass fire through it. To keep the "fire" on the back side, make a small cut and glue it to the inner side of the star. Glue the star itself to the center of the box.

Making carnations. For this we take a table napkin. Typically, each napkin has three layers. We divide it into three thin napkins. We take one and fold it in half. Then another half. We get a square. If you first put together not one, but two separated layers of napkins, then at this stage you can already cut out a carnation. It will be in a larger shape. But I needed smaller carnations. Therefore, we fold the napkin twice more. It turns out here is such a square, the center of which we fasten with a stapler.

Cut out the circle. Fluff the edges a little.

We make cuts in a circle, without cutting to the middle.

Fluff the edges and raise slightly towards the center. All the cloves are ready.

Wrap toothpicks or small skewers with a green napkin and glue the edges. We also cut out the leaves. We glue the resulting flower stalks near the star on the box. Above - glue the heads of our flowers.

Such an Eternal Flame will not only decorate the room, but will also serve as an excellent teaching material and a gift for a veteran.
