And one more beauty discovery of mine - gel eyeliners INGLOT . I've never tried anything better, to be honest! Of course, you need to take into account my dislike for liquid textures, but, anyway, gel textures are just a godsend! I will definitely replenish my makeup bag with other shades, while I only have two of them: brown-taupe #89 and shimmery copper-orange #97.

In fact, I thought for a very long time what products to choose for this article - the list of products that I love and use on an ongoing basis for a long time is quite large ... I had a difficult task - to choose those “products” from this list , which hit the list of favorites in 2016.

Foundation - a favorite that appeared in 2016 - is mousse Miracle Skin Smoothing Foundation by Max Factor . It perfectly evens out skin tone, hides skin imperfections. Mousse does not emphasize peeling, does not fall into the pores - ideally keeps on the skin from morning to evening. Has a matte finish. The mousse is unrealistically light and is not felt at all on the skin, although it has excellent hiding power.

Eyebrow mascara Maybelline Brow drama I started using it actively in January and still love it very much. When there is no time / laziness to paint eyebrows with shadows or lipstick, I use this mascara - 1 minute, and the eyebrows already look brighter and neater. Mascara not only gives the hairs a more saturated color, but also fixes them well.

Eyebrow pomade Nyx Tinted brow pomade - the second must-have for eyebrows. A good budget option for those who like to shape their eyebrows with such means - it is easy to apply, keeps well all day, allows you to vary the "brightness" and saturation of the color of the eyebrows.

Mascara Lumene True Mystic volume mascara - not the most ideal option of all that I had, but decent enough. Ideally stains the eyelash even in the corners of the eyes, gives volume and lengthens the eyelashes well. I am very pleased with the effect, but the only sad thing is the durability - a maximum of 5 hours, then the mascara begins to crumble. However, I can’t help myself - I love it and use it almost every day.

Lip pencil Provoc #46 and matte lipstick The Balm - I will tell about them as about one means. Why? Because their color is almost identical, and the effect on the lips too. Well, The Balm is a little more comfortable on the lips than the Provoc pencil, but, in general, they look the same.

Both products have a matte finish, both are easy to layer, both can withstand a bite - only a little wear on the inner "edges" of the lips. Comfortable in socks.

Summing up, I would like to say that this year was very rich in all sorts of cosmetic purchases of various price categories - there was a mass market, and professional, and luxury ... But there were not so many favorite products. I think that next year I will make more deliberate purchases. What do you want ;-)

Summing up is always not only interesting, but also useful in its own way, even if it will be the results in the field of beauty. This is always a good reason to look back and analyze what you preferred over the past twelve months, what you paid attention to, what you spent the most money on and what you didn’t spend on, although it might be worth it.

Personally, I made quite interesting conclusions for myself, and realized that all my purchases were rather spontaneous, not entirely deliberate and not so necessary, but, nevertheless, they brought me their share of joy. And, either it’s already so difficult to surprise me with something, or not so many things have been tested in a year (which I strongly doubt), but it turned out to be not so easy for me to single out something really special. Without a doubt, there were a lot of good and interesting things among the purchases (and in my favorite segment of Korean cosmetics, which I mostly buy, it can’t be otherwise), but it can’t be otherwise, but “I’m yours forever!” deserve my delight! succeeded by only a few means. And even though this list turned out to be very, very modest, I am glad that among the whole bunch of just pleasant means there were those that managed to surprise and please me more than usual.

What I loved in 2015 remained on the list of must-haves and continues to be bought over and over again, and in 2016 the following cosmetic products firmly secured their place in my cosmetic bag:

1. The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer - the case when they don’t look for good from good, I will buy a few pieces so as not to save money and shake, fearing that it may end at the most inopportune moment. For all its density, it perfectly adheres even to oily skin (and does not dry it out), which not every product can boast of.

2. Max Factor Miracle Touch Skin Smoothing Foundation - an incredibly successful novelty that replaced all the tubes of foundation and bibi creams that I had. Weightlessness on the skin, good camouflage and impeccable durability - that's what managed to amaze me.

3. Limoni Professional Eye Shadow Base although it falls into this list, it is still not 100% ideal for me because of one nuance. After 3 months, the base thickens terribly in the tube, which makes it difficult to scratch it out (although it is possible), otherwise it will be able to surprise those who suffer from real oiliness of the eyelids - with it, the shadows stay in the same state as in the morning until you remove your makeup.

4. And, perhaps, one of the most successful purchases this year (though not quite from the category of cosmetics) is makeup brush set Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Set Vol. 2 . I have never regretted the money spent (although I am still that stingy lover), because, as it turned out, I did not have enough good brushes for a long time. Fine quality and beautiful design is the least that can be said about them, but I won't go into details, just trust me! :)
