How to make a typewriter out of cardboard? Small and large car options. How to make a machine out of cardboard? Paper truck model

All boys love to play cars, but not everyone can make them himself. Therefore, it will be useful to learn how to make a paper machine with your own hands. It's fascinating lesson will help develop thinking and the perseverance of your baby. Crafting materials are always at your fingertips.

Creating a volumetric toy out of paper

To make a 3D car, you will need:

Making a car with your own hands is very simple. For this no special skills required, you need to adhere to the following instructions:

There are two options for 3D craft machines: multi-colored and ones that need to be decorated.

Building a fire truck

The fire truck is loved by many children, but finding it on store shelves is not easy. To make it yourself, you will need the above materials, patience and accuracy.

The principle of operation is the same as with volumetric machines, so there is nothing new here. But there will still be a hint. Try to bend blunt contours, it's easier. Better to use cardboard for the drawing. When everything is glued, you can proceed to the stairs. Top class if the ladder can be raised and extended.

Paper crafts from improvised means

With age, every boy wants to improve his cars. It becomes too easy for him to apply templates. So you can start to crafts from scrap materials... Until 3 years, this will have to be postponed, since these materials can be dangerous for the baby.

All boys love racing, which means they will definitely like racing cars. Handy tools for their manufacture can be found in every home: matchboxes, colored paper, cardboard, small wooden sticks.

First roll up the cylinder or take the one left over from the toilet paper roll, glue it over with something colored and cut a hole in the middle. This will driver's cabin... We cut out four wheels from black cardboard and glue white circles in the form of disks in the middle of each. The child will be happy to paint the resulting design as he pleases.

A truck is best made from a matchbox. To do this, take the outer part and cut it in half. We put one half horizontally, and the second we put vertically close to the first. The inner part must be pushed into the horizontal half ... This is how we get the trunk... We cut out seven wheels, attach four to the trunk, and two to the body. We attach the fifth wheel to the rear of the trunk. This will be a spare wheel. We finish painting the little things: wipers, shiny glass, door handles and bolts on the wheels.

Origami machine

A more complex option is an origami paper machine. No other materials at hand are required. Gluing is also not required, since the strength of the modules will be at a height. But with the assembly of the car itself, you will have to sweat. Module can be done in different ways, but they are all attached in the same way. To see how the module is made, take a look at the figure.

Development schemes, pattern, templates

Paper crafts are good for your child. And the more your kid makes something with his own hands, the further he develops. Of course, modern boys choose an easier way - cars from the designer or ready-made racing cars, police and military vehicles.

Many people are simply not interested in paper models, because they "do not know how" to drive. This raises the question - how to make a car out of paper that drives? It's easy enough to use plastic bottle caps instead of cardboard wheels. And you can connect pairs of wheels with the help of wires or sticks from the lollipop.

Several schematics or templates for toy paper cars.

Attention, only TODAY!

Even if your toy car park is bursting with various trucks, cars and military equipment bought and donated by adults, a do-it-yourself model of a fire engine will occupy the most important place in it. Not because this cardboard machine is so bright and beautiful, but because you made it yourself.

Car mockup

Having such paper cars, you can arrange real rallies around the apartment. You can build a garage for them. It is easy to paint them with felt-tip pens and stick a toothpick flag into the cockpit.

  1. Take a square piece of paper and fold it in half. Then unfold and fold inward towards the middle of the edge of the paper.
  2. Fold the edges over again, but this time to the other side and fold the sheet in half lengthwise.
  3. DIY the outline of a paper machine by first wrapping the top corners and then tucking them in. Below, two corners will look out from under the car. In the same way, fold them inward, marking the wheels for our car.
  4. Bend the bottom corners back, slightly "rounding" the wheels. In the back of the origami machine, lay the corners inside, and in the front, make the "headlights".
  5. To do this, bend the corner with your own hands, and then straighten it.
  6. You can draw headlights, handles, doors and the driver behind the wheel. So we made the first origami cars. 15 minutes and the car is ready.

We will need:

  • 5 cardboard toilet paper tubes;
  • 2 rolls of scotch tape;
  • boxes of different sizes;
  • Scotch;
  • glue;
  • acrylic paint or gouache;
  • paper napkins;
  • masking tape;
  • 4 cocktail tubes;
  • matches;
  • newspaper.

Work order

  • Form the skeleton of a fire engine with your own hands. To do this, fold boxes of different sizes and tape them together. Try to make a structure resembling a motor vehicle with a cab and a covered body.

  • Cut the scotch tape in half and cut as shown in the photo. These will be the wings. There are 4 such blanks to be made.

  • We make a model of water tanks from toilet paper rolls. To do this, with our own hands, we glue their ends with masking tape and connect them in two.

  • To secure the wings, cut through the boxes with a knife in three places. Additionally, we glue them with scotch tape. We attach the tanks on the sides, and on top of the cab there are several layers of corrugated cardboard strips - this is the future "flasher".

  • Now you need to make a model of real wheels from toilet paper rolls with your own hands. Cut them into rings, glue on one side with a circle of cardboard.

  • Fill the wheel with crumpled newspaper and cover the end with masking tape. Wrap strips of corrugated cardboard around the wheels.

  • To smooth out all the flaws and irregularities, cover the homemade cardboard machine with paper napkins. Make strips of cardboard and glue them around the windshield as a frame.

  • From cocktail tubes and matches, you need to make fire escapes and paint them silver. We make side mirrors from silvery paper and matches. Paint the flasher and glue the cardboard bumper. Attach the headlights. For them, you can use metal corks from beer bottles.

  • Our craft is almost ready. It remains to paint it with acrylic paints and plant it on the axles, which will serve as any two wooden sticks. Don't forget to attach the fire escape on top.

In fact, the vehicles used by rescuers on fires can be of different shapes, as well as different purposes. For example, you can make an excellent mock-up of a truck transporting fire hoses from an egg box. This pressed cardboard machine will be stable and sturdy.

  • Cut the boxes with your own hands as shown in the photo.

  • Paint the layout with gouache or acrylic paint.

  • Cut a roll of toilet paper in half and roll the red and yellow straws into halves.

  • Glue the details together. For this machine, wheels must be made of cardboard from plastic covers by placing them on wooden or metal axles. Put the bobbins with sleeves in the back, glue the headlights from the beer corks and the craft is ready.

Mothers and grandmothers probably have a lot of multi-colored buttons in their boxes, which are nowhere to be used and it's a pity to throw them away. But you can make a great picture out of them. First draw the outline of the typewriter on paper, and then fill it in with colored buttons, carefully gluing one at a time. Frame your homemade painting and present it to the owner of the buttons.

To make such a delicious cardboard machine, you will need 4 boxes of suitable size, ladders made of matches and tubes, cardboard, napkins and a pound of chocolates in red wrappers.

Make a layout of the car out of cardboard as described in the first method. Set up a ladder, paint, and then stick candy on all sides of it. Instead of wheels, you can use chocolate marshmallows, and instead of headlights, colored dragees. It's not a shame to give such a layout to a friend for his birthday.

Racing car

In just an hour, you can easily fill an entire toy car park by making cars out of different shapes and brands of paper.

In order to fold a paper model of a racing car with your own hands, you need to take a standard A4 sheet.

  1. Fold the sheet in half lengthwise. Wrap the corners on both sides inward, forming arrows.
  2. Fold the longitudinal sides towards the middle under the arrows.
  3. On one side, fold the arrow towards the middle, making it even sharper.
  4. Lift the other side and place it on top of the folded arrow, tucking it in between the layers of paper.
  5. Fold the tail of the car. You can draw headlights on it.
  6. To make it clearer how to make a typewriter out of paper, you can give another diagram-drawing.

The uniqueness of paper crafts is that safe materials available to any family are needed to complete them. Possession of such art is within the power of a small child. It is possible to attract a boy to needlework by creating toys from paper only by making him interested in this activity. Offer the little man options on how to make and print a car, auto, truck and kamaz out of paper using a gluing template.

How to fold or assemble a paper police car using origami: a simple diagram and drawings

The craft can be done both for the game and as an original gift to a good friend - an adult. Since men are always boys at heart, an origami machine made from a banknote is suitable as a gift.

You will need:

  • Rectangular sheets of colored paper;
  • scissors, glue.

How to make a toy car:

  1. Roll a sheet of paper of the selected color horizontally. This is the central inflection point of the future product.
  2. Parallel bending lines bend the two halves of the sheet on the left and right sides inward.
  3. Bend the bends back inward. Then turn the ends of the sheet in the direction from the wrong side.
  4. The bent curves of the inner corners form the body of an impromptu paper machine.
  5. Make folds inward with triangles under the wheels. To achieve maximum similarity with a wheel, bend the corner tops inward.
  6. For the headlights, bend the right corners of the car too. On the left side, we make the bends in the same way, but smaller in size and outward.

For a more colorful production of the car, stick paper triangles of a different color on the headlights.

By helping and guiding a child's work, an entire racing fleet can be folded.

How to make a paper truck

The figure of a truck looks more impressive in a three-dimensional format.

You will need:

  • Thick paper;
  • Glue, scissors;
  • Wooden skewers;
  • Double-sided adhesive tape;
  • Plastic bottle;
  • Compass, pin.

The figure of a truck looks more impressive in a three-dimensional format

How to do:

  1. Cut separately four squares for the cockpit, three equal rectangles and two squares for the body.
  2. Fold two boxes out of the cut out figures, connect them with fasteners using adhesive tape inside. You can preliminarily cut out the side windows from two squares of the cabin, securing pieces of plastic from the inside with tape. We do the same with the front of the craft, imitating a windshield. Glue the cab and body parts together.
  3. On black paper with a compass, mark eight small circles with a central point of the same size. For stability, glue the future wheels in two circles. Make a small hole with a pin along the center point.
  4. Attach the wheels through symmetrical opposite holes on the sides of the figure, placing them on skewers through the hole.
  5. Paint the figure of the truck with paints as desired.

The stability of the model will ensure the strength of the wheels - the more circles glued at the base of the wheel, the better the craft will be.

Every boy loves to play with cars, he will not soon assemble a metal structure on his own, but it is very easy to teach a child to make paper models. Parents need a little time, paper, glue and scissors. You can create such cars using the origami technique or 3D construction, for each method there are the necessary materials, instructions and recommendations.

How to make a car from waste material?

The older the boy becomes, the more he will be interested in complex models, including those made of paper. It remains for parents to suggest which creativity is more exciting, to provide the necessary materials and a good mood to complete the task. For boys, among all models, it is cars that enjoy great authority, and buying different designs every day will cost parents a pretty penny. After a while, the child will lose all interest in these beautiful cars, so it is more interesting and useful to make a design on his own. It does not require large financial costs, enough desire and time.

You can create cars not only using ready-made schemes, but also using improvised means, for example, cardboard and matches, wooden sticks and colored paper. For example, take a few cardboard cylinders left over from toilet paper, cover each with colored paper. After the fake has dried, it is necessary to cut a rectangular hole on the surface of the cylinder, leave a little space on one side so that you can bend it and thus make a seat for the driver.

The structure can be decorated inside with felt-tip pens or a marker, to create a steering wheel, a circle should be cut out of white paper and glued opposite the seat. The machine can be additionally decorated with colored paper appliqués, choosing different shades. If the car is a racing car, you can apply a number, if an ambulance or a fire model, then you can also cut out the corresponding signs or draw them. Use small screws or plastic bottle caps to secure the wheels.

Volumetric 3D cars made of paper

To complete the work, you need to prepare a printer, paper sheet, scissors, cardboard material, as well as glue, colored pencils, paints or felt-tip pens.

The instruction is very simple, you can assemble a car from paper without special skills or knowledge. First you need to print the model of the typewriter you like on paper, then stick the sheet on cardboard so that the structure is durable. The image is cut along the contour, this is another advantage of this technique for creating a typewriter from paper.

Important ! All the lines are already marked on the sheet, so it will be easy for the child to fold the model, just bend along the contour and hide the remaining wings of the workpiece inside.

These white ends must be glued so that the structure does not fall apart, and if the cardboard is strong enough, then you can use super glue instead of stationery PVA. After that, the boy is left with the most interesting thing, to decorate the car at his discretion.

A simple way to create a typewriter out of paper

Paper cars are just as fun to play with as metal or plastic ones, you can arrange real races, and you can also build a garage, decorate all the structures with felt-tip pens, and use a toothpick to make a flag.

To create a paper typewriter, you need a square piece of paper, it should be folded in half, then unfold the edges and bend them in the opposite direction to the middle of the sheet. Then, fold the edges back again and fold the piece of paper in half. Apply the outlines of the car to the material, for this, wrap the upper corners, then tuck them in, two corners will look out from below. They are also folded inward, after which it is necessary to make the wheels of the car.

Bend the lower corners back, rounding them a little, so you get wheels, in front, to make the headlights, the corners must be laid inward. Do the same from the back of the car, all the details of the vehicle can be drawn, for example, wheels, headlights, doors or the driver behind the wheel. 15 minutes of time and a beautiful paper car is ready.

Origami machine

This is a unique art that involves the creation of unusual paper figures, including cars. For work, it is enough to stock up on colored paper and patience, it is very easy, so children not only can, but also need to be connected, together you can create a whole car park. Or you can make a car from a banknote and give it as a gift to a friend.

To create, for example, a sports car, you need to take a rectangular sheet, as a rule, the aspect ratio should be equal to 1: 7. The work begins with the fact that the right and left upper corners are folded, so all the necessary folds are created. The next step is to fold the top of the sheet, along with the folded corners on the left and right. Small triangles will remain sticking out, which should also be bent towards the middle of the sheet of paper.

Next, you need to bend the sides of the leaf, fold the lower part, follow the same algorithm that was performed when folding the upper part of the paper. It remains only to fold the structure in half, fill in the triangles that look out and that's it, the machine is ready.
