Beaded starfish. Bead key

Beads are used to create not only necklaces and beads of amazing beauty, but also toys, souvenirs, handbags, belts and other elegant little things. Beaded items can be a wonderful decoration for interior and household items. The article describes in detail the manufacture of voluminous products from beads on a marine theme.

Bead star

Even beginners in beading can create an original starfish from beads. Let's consider sequentially the stages of creating a volumetric star:

Bulky fish made of beads

Scheme for beginners... When performing the product you will need:

  • Beads are golden. It is better to choose three different shades - the fish will look more impressive.
  • Two dark beads for the eyes.
  • About 3 meters of wire 0.3 mm thick.

Weaving begins from the trunk. To do this, cut off 2 meters of wire and string 4 beads on it. The two pieces on the left are pushed back a short distance and, holding the remaining 2 beads, the wire is threaded through them in the opposite direction. As a result, a pair of left beads will be on top, and the other two - on the bottom.

The second row is woven in the same way, but they are already picking up 4 beads on each side. The wire is tightened well.

Dark beads for fish eyes are added to the third row. To do this, three golden, one dark and then two golden beads are strung on one end of the wire. The other end of the wire is pulled in the opposite direction, tightened and the edges of the wire are straightened.

The fourth and fifth row is performed by collecting 8 and 10 beads, respectively.

To make a fish from beads, you need to arrange the fins. The upper fin will be larger, so on one side of the fish we collect 3 beads of the main color and two of a lighter shade. The wire is passed in the opposite direction through the bead that was collected first. The lower fin consists of only three beads.

Similarly, seven subsequent rows with fins are recruited..

It remains to dial two rows to complete the torso. For the thirteenth row, 7 beads are strung. At the next stage, we form the tail of the fish. Begin the 14th row by picking up five beads. Then we thread another piece of thin wire about 30 cm long through them. The same piece is threaded into three middle beads. We tighten and straighten the wire. Now we have eight ends of the wire, on which the tail will be executed.

The wire sections are divided in pairs. Choose two wires on the side where the fish has longer fins and string 16 beads of the main color, 33 of a lighter shade and again 16 of the main one. The second end of the wire is passed through the entire row of beads, tightened and twisted at the beginning of the tail. The excess wire is cut off.

In the same way, three more chains are recruited, slightly reducing the number of beads. All rows of beads are looped, fixing at the transition from the body to the tail.

The finished figure is straightened, the fins are tilted towards the tail, and the tail itself is bent downward.

Beaded cancer

For weaving, you will need about thirty-five grams of beads a number 8, two black beads and a wire. If you want the cancer to look like a living one, pick up beads in a brownish-green hue. A bright boiled crayfish will, of course, be red.

When performing weaving, a parallel method of knitting is used. Weaving starts from the head according to the pattern. The claws are weaved separately and fixed to the body. At the end of the work, 8 legs are attached.

The woven bead figurines discussed in the master classes can be used as decoration, for example, by making brooches out of them. Two identical starfish can become original earrings, and a keychain with a gold fish will definitely bring good luck.

Having made several products of a marine theme (goldfish, pike, dolphin, asterisk), all you have to do is place them in a transparent container (for example, a round glass jar), add green algae from beads, and you are already the owner of the aquarium! And if you add backlighting, you get an original lamp.

Attention, only TODAY!

Extraordinarily beautiful stars can be made from beads. Moreover, they can be used in practice - used as a pendant or earrings, hung as a decoration on a mobile phone, or made a keychain out of them.

If the star made of beads is made larger, then it can be used to decorate, for example, a Christmas tree or a composition on a marine theme. In short, such a star is multifunctional, and it is easy and simple to make it. Moreover, using the given simple and clear descriptions.

A simple version of a star made of beads

This is a very easy-to-make star made of beads, which even a novice needlewoman can weave. So, all you need is beads of the same color, a thin needle and a fishing line.

  1. You should start work by stringing 10 beads on the fishing line, which must be closed in a ring. The easiest way to do this is to circle the needle several times to secure the base of the sprocket.

    We string beads on a fishing line

    We make a ring by twisting the ends of the fishing line

  2. Now you can start making rays. It is very simple to make them: it is enough to string 5 beads on a needle, and then pass the needle through the circle without threading it through one bead. This is how the first ray is formed.

    We start weaving a ray

  3. Similarly, you need to make five more rays of the star. Those who want to make a large star should make a large circle at the base of the star. Thus, it will be possible to make more rays.

    Similarly to the first, we make the rest of the rays of the star.

  4. The star is ready. It is only important to make a strong knot and carefully hide the end of the line. We remind you that you cannot cut the fishing line “at the root” - there is a high risk that the asterisk will bloom. You need to leave longer tips that you can stretch through the nearest beads.
  5. If you weave several similar stars, you can use them to make a bracelet or pendant.

    Several stars can be used to make a necklace or bracelet.

How to make a starfish from beads

You can make a beautiful star that closely resembles a starfish. Another advantage is that it will take very little time. So, the diagram given for a star made of beads makes it easy to master such weaving.

A bead star can be woven from any glass beads. The main thing is to choose beads of two colors. You should also take one more beads, another smaller - this will allow you to achieve a beautiful relief.

Depending on the size of the beads, it is necessary to choose the thickness of the wire used.

  1. We start weaving by attaching one large bead, after which we string 4 more pieces of beads onto the wire and close them into a ring.

    We start weaving a starfish

  2. Then we continue weaving in a circle, stringing and weaving beads into the free space in the previous row. We complete the row by passing the needle back through two pieces of beads to secure the weaving.

    Weave the first circle and fix it

  3. We do the next row in the same way as the previous one. Unless we weave into the space between the beads of the previous row not one, but two beads.

    Weave the second circle similarly to the first, adding additional beads

  4. Now you need to make the rays of the star. To do this, you need to take a darker shade of beads or a contrasting color to it. And, continuing weaving, you need to string on the fishing line two pieces of beads of the main color, and in the intervals string contrasting beads. And you should start with one bead, gradually increasing the number of beads.
  5. We continue the next row in the same way as the previous one. You only need to string on two pieces of beads in a contrasting color.

    Weave the rays of the starfish from beads

  6. A similar weaving should be continued further until you get 6 pairs of beads in each beam.

    We continue weaving until you get 6 pairs of beads in each beam

  7. It is necessary to make another row, adding beads in a contrasting color. In this case, 1 bead should remain in the beam /
  8. One half of the sprocket is ready. Now it is also necessary to weave the second half of the sprocket in the same way. With the only difference that the last row in the second half does not need to be done. If desired, the resulting halves of the star can be decorated with white beads, carefully stringing bugles all over the star. You should also weave the beads into the center to close the hole in the middle.

    Making two identical stars

  9. It remains to connect the two halves. To do this, you can simply sew them neatly by passing a needle through the side holes. It is important not to forget to pre-fill the star with cellophane or foam rubber in order to achieve volume.

    We sew 2 halves after filling the star with foam rubber

  10. It remains to attach the appropriate accessories, depending on how the star will be used - as a keychain or earrings, for example.

Stars can be used for earrings or keychain

By the way, a similar bead star can be made from large beads or pearls. Then the star will turn out to be larger and can be put, for example, on the shelf in the bathroom. Or use the product to compose a thematic interior composition.

And if you want to weave a more complex craft from beads, try making a dragon from beads. You will find a detailed description of the process in our article.

This article is dedicated to bead craft lovers. Today we will learn how to make a starfish out of beads using a master class and a weaving pattern.

Creating this vibrant and unusual marine life is a creative and engaging process. So get ready to create - it will be interesting!

Step-by-step weaving instructions

Before you start creating a starfish from beads according to our master class with a weaving pattern, decide whether it will be a pendant, keychain or a bauble for a mobile phone. It depends on which fastener or fastener you need.

In this master class, we used the materials shown in the photo below, but you can choose your own color scheme.

Step 1: form the ring

We start weaving with the larger element. We fix the bead on the fishing line, that is, we pass both tails of the fishing line through its center and tighten, as with parallel weaving.

Then we string 4 more beads and close it all into a ring.

Now we make the second row of our asterisk. To do this, remember the mosaic weaving. That is, we string the beads and send the fishing line to the nearest bead of the first row.

In the next row, there will already be two beads between the beads of the second row. We string them and pass them through the nearest bead of the second row.

Step 2: make the rays

As a result, blue beads will be rays of an asterisk, and the rest is filled with smaller beads. For row 4, the fishing line should come out of the first bead of the second row, that is, from the beam. The weaving technique is called “Ndebele”.

We string 2 blue beads on the fishing line and send the tail of the line into the second bead of the ray. Then we string a small blue bead onto it and send it to the first bead of the next ray. Then the situation is repeated until we get the following result.

In the process of weaving blue beads, we always have two beads, only the number of blue beads increases. That is, in the first such row there is only one blue bead, in the second there are already two. In general, each row is an addition by one bead.

We continue weaving until we have 6 pairs in our rays. Next, we add one bead to our beads to close the holes.

Dear needlewomen and needlewomen! I would like to bring to your attention a master class on making a brooch-pendant "Starfish" from pearls and beads.

This jewelry is remarkable for its versatility - it can be worn both as a pendant and as a brooch thanks to the clever 2-in-1 clasp.

Our product is made using beaded embroidery technique with weaving elements. My master class is designed for people who have at least some experience in handling beads, but there is nothing supernaturally complicated in it.

For work we need:

  • pearl beads 6 mm - 1 pc .;
  • pearl beads 4 mm - 5 pcs .;
  • gold pearl beads mm - 5 pcs .;
  • beads pearls pink gold 4 mm - 5 pcs .;
  • white pearl beads 4 mm - 5 pcs .;
  • pink pearl beads 3 mm - 5 pcs .;
  • beads white zhe6mchug 3 mm - 5 pcs .;
  • pink bicone beads 3 mm - 6 pcs .;
  • beads 15/0 (gold);
  • beads 11/0 (pink);
  • beads 11/0 (gold);
  • the base for the brooch-pendant;
  • as well as cardboard, a base for embroidery, golden leather, monofilament, needles for beads, scissors, glue, carbon paper and a pencil.

In my version, Swarovski pearls were used, but you can easily replace it with matching pearls from another manufacturer or even natural round ones.

The idea of folding the beads rolling on the table into a square was born spontaneously, but seemed practical to me. Now I know why an adult needs a square with holes)).
Let's get to work. I printed an asterisk of a suitable size on the printer, because this is a guarantee of getting an even figure. And I slightly corrected it with a pencil to the desired shape. Immediately I drew all the axes, we need them, we will sew beads on them.

Using a carbon paper and a pencil, transfer the drawing and axes to the embroidery base, mark the center. As a basis for embroidery, I used 3-4 times folded and ironed glue interlining, painted in gold color with acrylic paint.

Sew on a large pink pearl in the center.

We braid the pearl like a cabochon. First, sew a row of 15/0 gold beads around the pearl. Important: there must be an even number of them so that the braid of the bead looks even and neat. Sew on two beads with the first stitch, with the second we bring the needle out between the just sewn beads and stretch the thread into the second of them, tighten. Next, we type the next two, etc.

As a result, we get a closed circle around the bead. We remove the thread, passing through the first of the selected beads.

Now we start the weaving element, add the second row of beads to the future braid. To do this, we collect the beads and insert the needle into the third bead of the first row (we left the first one, i.e. through one bead).

In the same way, we collect one more, we pass the thread through the 5th bead, etc.

After finishing the second row, bring the needle into the first bead of this row. From it we begin to weave the third row, as well as the fourth and fifth. They are performed in the same way, here it is even more obvious, the thread passes through adjacent, protruding beads.

We close each row by passing the needle through its first bead. The fifth row we pass the thread twice, pulling together the braid.

Having finished braiding the bead, we pass the needle through the braiding beads down to the base, pierce the base, fasten the thread on the seamy side with a knot or a couple of stitches to secure the tie. We do not cut the thread. In the diagram below, I depicted it all a little more clearly.

I marked the blue beads of the first row, red - the second, green - the third, to which everything becomes clear.
In the same way, we will braid all the beads, only for them, because they are smaller, 4 mm, we will make three rows, we will braid only two to the sewn one, the last one will also be tightened and fixed on the wrong side.
Sew a row of larger beads around the newly braided bead, 11/0, it is close in size to the Czech 10-ke, or to the 12th size of the Rainbow bead.

We begin to make the rays of our star. Sew on the first pink pearl at some distance from the center, so that the first sewing row of the braid fits.

We braid this bead in the way described above. Similarly, sew and braid the remaining 4 pink beads, marking the rays of the star.

We continue the rays, sew and braid the gold pearl beads after the pink ones. And behind them are cream 4 mm. We braid them too.

At the end of each ray, we will have small 3 mm cream beads, we will not braid them, just go around in a circle.

The beam is ready. We embroider the remaining four in the same way.

Now we embroider the outline of the star with small gold beads. Sew large gold beads in the corners of the rays, filling in the voids.

Sew on several large gold beads in the intervals between the beams.

Further along the lines between the beams we sew matte pearls, 4 mm closer to the center, 3 mm behind them. We will not braid them either, we will round them with pink beads.

Behind the pink one, we embroider a golden row around these pearls.

Start filling in the gaps with pink beads. First, we lay a row along the contour of the resulting area.

Sew a pink bicone into the gap in the center that is not filled with beads. It doesn't strike the eye too much, but we create additional shine.

We fill in the rest of the spaces between the rays of the star in the same way. At the exit, we should get something like this.

The most painstaking part of the work is over! You can rest a little and start assembling the jewelry.
We cut out our star with small sharp scissors (I still use manicure scissors) close to the embroidery. But be extremely careful not to accidentally cut the thread.

Cut out a piece of cardboard, similar in shape to our star. I just circle the embroidery and then cut 3-5 mm around the edges of the cardboard blank. This detail is needed to give rigidity to our decoration. We glue the cardboard piece to the wrong side of the embroidery.

Now we cut out the seamy part from the leather.

On it we mark the holes for the fastener, cut and insert the fastener into them.

It's okay, then we will remove the protruding pieces of the seamy side of the skin with a needle or a toothpick inside, completely unnecessary - we will cut it off. With just a couple of drops of second glue, glue the brooch base to the skin.

The clasp is now securely fastened and you can glue the leather to the embroidery. To do this, I use ordinary glue, if it suddenly stuck unevenly, there is time to move or re-glue. The second does not give such an opportunity to maneuver, but grasps tightly and immediately.

The last stage remains - processing the edge in the American way, laying the beads flat. We tie a knot on the monofilament. We stick the needle between the leather and the embroidery, take it out from the inside out.

We stick the needle into the base from the front side, draw the needle into the formed loop and tighten.
Now we collect the pink beads, stick in the needle from the front side, and withdraw from the wrong side.

And we pass into this bead a second time from below, laying the bead flat. We tighten the thread.

Sew the rest of the beads in the same way, so that there are no gaps between them, tightly to each other. Side view.

Having finished sewing the edge, we fix the thread. I tie several knots (usually 3) on several beads, the monofilament is almost transparent, which makes the knots invisible. After that, the rest of the thread can be hidden in the embroidery, I pass it through some detail under the embroidery, inside and cut it off.
All the Brooch-pendant is ready. You can admire and wear!

For manufacturing we need:

- Beads of two sizes, for example 10 and 15
- Beading needle
- Lavsan thread
- Ear hooks

1. We collect 5 beads, close the circle.
2. Pick up 1 bead, go through 1 bead of the first row, pick 1 bead again, and go through the next 1 bead. We do this to the end of the row, we remove the thread from the first dialed bead.

3. We collect 2 beads, we pass through 1 protruding of the previous row, we again recruit 2 beads and we pass through the next protruding of the previous row. We do this to the end of the row, we withdraw the thread from the first dialed one.
4. Now we collect 2 beads and go through the next bead from top to bottom. Then we collect 1 bead of a smaller size, and pass it through the next bead from bottom to top. We repeat from the beginning, we do it to the end of the row, we remove the thread from the first dialed bead.

5. Again we collect 2 beads, we pass into the next one from top to bottom, we collect 1 smaller bead, we pass through the smaller one of the last row, we collect 1 smaller one, we pass into the next bead from the bottom up. We repeat from the beginning, do it to the end of the row, display it in the first set.
6. Weave the next rows until we have 6 beads in height at the beam, also picking up 2 beads per beam, and weaving one by one between them (Figure 6-8).
7. We will make the last row the same, only on the rays we will collect one bead

8. Do the second half by repeating steps 1-6. (fig9)
9. Sew the two halves along the protruding beads. (fig10)
10. Sew on the earrings, and the earrings are ready!
