Competition for children to run for the new year. Approximate ideas for notes "Eat". New Year's competitions for preschool children

New Year with the smell of pine needles, tangerines and gifts is getting closer and closer. It's time to think about how you would like to spend this wonderful magical holiday.

There may be many options. If you decide to celebrate this New Year with your family and close friends, then it's time to start preparing New Year's contests for your company. Contests for the new year should be fun, "winter".

It is desirable that they contain a variety of New Year's attributes: confetti, tangerines, Christmas balls, Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden. In organizing New Year's competitions, their versatility is of great importance. Competitions for the new year should attract and interest both an adult and a child (if their presence is also expected).

New Year's contests at the table ... or near it

in a jar

For clarity, you can put a three-liter jar on the table. The task of all those sitting in turn is to name any items that fit in the container. The competition can be made more difficult by saying that these items must be related to the New Year in some way. Then the fun begins. The guests name the object and reasonably prove that this is a New Year's thing.

New Year's alphabet

Everyone sitting at the table should congratulate all the guests, but his toast begins with a specific letter from the alphabet. And you don’t have to choose - everyone knows the alphabet, so the letters go strictly in turn. It's funny to watch how some of the characters are trying to remember what kind of letter he got.

What's in your pants

Sitting at the table, the guests pull out newspaper quotes from the presenter's bag. It will be more interesting if, instead of a bag, glue such an envelope-panties. The guest rises and artistically declares: “And in my pants ...” The end of the sentence is the phrase that he fished out. Of course, the host will have to try first, but the result is worth it.

"A" and "B" sat at the table

The competition is held between teams, each of which is invited to choose any letter of the alphabet. And now each team in turn names the dishes known to it, which begin with its letter. The last one to answer wins.

New Year's toast

Guests are given cards with various abbreviations. TASS, housing and communal services, Ministry of Internal Affairs, OKA, traffic police, Air Force, etc. The task of the contestant is to prepare a short toast, the words of which will begin with these letters. The one who is toasting drinks to the bottom, the rest - in support of the best toast.

chocolate bar

The host conditionally divides the table into two teams, each of which gives out a chocolate bar. The task of the participants is to bite off a piece, pass the chocolate to a neighbor, but without touching it with their hands. The first team to eat the chocolate wins without hurting anyone. The last participant makes a sign and the whole team shouts in unison: “Happy New Year!”

Sweet couple

The game goes around. Each participant names a famous, famous, fabulous or real couple. The host starts a conversation and says: "Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden." And then everyone demonstrates his intelligence. The winner is the one who names the last pair.

In zoo

Each participant writes the name of the animal on a piece of paper and puts it in a common box. Now anyone who wants to pulls out one note and, without reading it, attaches it to his forehead. Asking leading questions to the audience, he must guess which animal he represents. Then a chance is given to the next guest, and so on.

Games and entertainment for the New Year

BALL IN A CIRCLE

All participants in this game become in a circle. Each child is given inflated balloons. But one participant is not given a ball. The leader turns on some New Year's song or, if he has the ability and a musical instrument, plays the melody himself. When the music sounds, the players pass each of their balls to a neighbor. When the music stops, the player without the ball is out of the game. After the player is eliminated, one ball is also removed. If during the game someone's balloon bursts, that participant is also out of the game. The winner is the one who is left last in the game.

LEAF-LOLL

The participants of the game stand in a row. Each is given an album sheet, which they will hold by the corner at arm's length. When the leader gives some command to start the game, for example, ringing a bell, or says: “One, two, three - start!”, Then each player must crumple his piece of paper into a ball (into a fist) with one hand (without helping the other). In this case, the hand with the leaf cannot be lowered. Whoever completes this task, he raises his hand (with a crumpled piece of paper) above his head.

THREE HEROES

Let's choose the three most daring "swindlers". They need to hand out an uninflated balloon. Participants must inflate the balloons until they burst.

The player who bursts the balloon faster than the others wins. As a prize, you can give a whole and brand new balloon.

A COLLECTIVE MASTERPIECE

Any guest who wants to feel like a real artist can participate in this team game. Participants are divided into two or more teams of 3-4 people. Each team is given a piece of paper, preferably A1 format, so that there is a large field for artistic activity. And each participant is given a felt-tip pen (or marker). To make it more interesting, each "artist" is blindfolded (with a handkerchief or scarf). The host calls the topic for drawing, it’s better if it’s something New Year’s (snowman, Santa Claus, Snow Maiden), then commands: “One, two, three - start drawing,” and everyone starts drawing at the same time. The team that draws the fastest will win. But in this competition it is necessary to take into account the accuracy of the work performed.

BLIND ARTIST

There can be several participants in this competition. The presenter must take a pre-prepared drawing paper with two holes cut for the hands. Each participant stands behind the paper and puts his hands through the slots. Then everyone is given a felt-tip pen (or marker) and a landscape sheet. The host says what exactly the participants should draw (preferably something New Year's and not very complicated). The participant must, without seeing what exactly he draws, complete the task of the leader. The winner in this competition is the one who most accurately displays the task on a piece of paper (who will have the most similar).

FIRE ENGINEERS

This competition develops a reaction among the assembled participants. To start this competition, you need to put two chairs with their backs to each other at a distance of 1 m and hang a jacket on each back of the chair, but only the sleeves of these jackets must first be turned inside out. A rope should be placed under the chairs so that its ends “peek out” a little from under the chairs. The contestants stand next to each of their chairs. At the command of the host (the bell rings or the words: “One, two, three - start!”), Both participants must each take “their” jacket, turn out the sleeves, quickly put it on, fasten all the buttons, run around the opponent’s chair, sit on their own. chair and pull the end of the rope. The winner will be the participant who completes all the proposed actions faster than the other in the presence of a properly worn and buttoned jacket.

BRIDGE FROM CLOTHES PEG

Both individual participants and teams can take part in this competition. For him, you need to prepare a large number of clothespins in advance. It is better if they are bright and colorful. Participants are given the same number of clothespins.

They begin to build a "bridge" by attaching one clothespin to the tip of another. The winner will be the participant (or team) who will build their multi-colored “bridge” faster than others. If there are too many clothespins, and there is not enough time for this competition, then you can limit the competition in time. The host can stop the game at any time by giving some signal to end. It can be a bell, a whistle, the words: “One, two, three - stop the competition!” In this case, the winner will be the one whose "bridge" is longer.

STIRLITS

This game develops attention and visual memory. All players freeze in some position. Before that (from among the little guests) a leader is selected, who must memorize as best as possible the poses of the participants and what clothes each of the participants is wearing. After that, he is taken out of the room. All participants try to change something in their postures and clothes (five changes in total). The returning leader must return all the changes that have occurred to the participants to their original state. If he remembered everything correctly, then some prize is awarded to him (or his real desire is fulfilled), while the leader can be replaced and the game repeated. If the leader could not remember the initial position and clothes of the players, then he needs to drive again.

BACK PAINTING

In this competition, the host acts as a judge. All participants are divided into pairs. The couples take turns. The participant draws some figure on his partner's back (you can use some animal, an object that can be depicted). The rest of the participants do not see the "back painting". The partner must guess and depict what his “colleague” drew. It must be convincing so that his “pantomime” is guessed by the other players to whom he showed all this. This is what every couple does. The pair with the most figures guessed wins. For each guessed figure, the host can give the couple a “snowflake”. In this case, the winner is the pair that has more "snowflakes".

STEPS

This competition develops reactions among young participants. All participants in this competition become in a circle, and the leader (who is selected from the little guests) stands in the center of this circle. When the music sounds, the leader begins to dance, and the rest of the participants repeat all the movements after him. During the dance, the leader should unexpectedly and imperceptibly step on someone's foot, and the players should dodge in every possible way. If someone did not have time, then he takes the place of the leader, and the game starts again. It can be carried out until all participants are in the role of leader. If the time for the competition is limited, then the game can be played for 5-10 minutes.

ARTIST REVERSED

For this competition, you need to attach a felt-tip pen (marker) vertically at a distance of 1-1.3 m from the floor (a chair is suitable, on the back of which we attach a writing object with tape). A participant who wants to play the role of an “artist” is given a piece of paper (landscape is suitable for this purpose). The newly minted artist begins to drive a piece of paper under a felt-tip pen, drawing some kind of drawing. It can be something New Year's (it is best to choose something simpler for the drawing: a Christmas tree, a snowflake, skis). When everyone has played enough, you can hold an exhibition of all the "works of art" with a detailed story of the author himself about his work.

FAT COWBOY

It is better to make two boys the participants of this "cowboy competition". They should stand opposite each other. Each participant should put one banana in his pocket. At the signal of the presenter (this may be a whistle), the “cowboys” must quickly grab their bananas from their pockets, peel and eat. The "cowboy" who first manages his "weapon" will win.

EXTRA BALLS

This is a very moving game. It should be carried out after "sedentary" and quiet competitions. All small guests present are divided into two teams. The leader places them in two lines facing each other and draws a line between them. Pre-prepared inflated balloons are thrown between the players. There should be a large number of balls (20-30 pieces), the more there are, the more interesting the game will be. At the leader's signal (whistle, ringing a bell), each team should try to throw the balls out of their own territory and throw them into the opponent's territory. The game can last 3-5 minutes.

MEMORIES OF INFANTITY

This competition is best held after the mobile, when the players begin to be thirsty. All participants in this competition are given glasses with a viscous liquid (it can be jelly, liquid semolina, thick tomato juice) and straws. You can pour liquid into baby bottles with a pacifier. At the command of the leader (these can be the words: “Baby - you, start drinking liquid!”), All participants begin to drink (each from their own container). The winner is the participant who drinks everything faster than the rest. The reward can be a glass of juice (if the participant is not already drunk).

CAPTIVE ARTIST

Those who wish to participate in this competition must tie their hands behind their backs. The host gives him a piece of paper (an album sheet may well be suitable for such a creation) and a felt-tip pen (marker, pen, colored pencil). The player must draw some object or animal with his bound hands (better that connected with the New Year). After the "artist" has finished his "masterpiece", those around him must guess what he painted. This game can be played as a competition. In this case, there should be several "artists". Those who guess the idea of the "artist" are given a "snowflake" cut out of paper. Of those who guessed correctly, the winner will be the one who collects the most "snowflakes", from the "artists" - who will convey their idea more accurately in the drawing.

EAT JELLY WITHOUT REGRET

For this competition, you need to prepare jelly in advance. Each participant (the number of participants depends on the number of portions of jelly) is given a portion of jelly, they are blindfolded and the smallest spoon that you have is given in your hand. Participants need to eat this jelly faster than others. The winner will be not only the fastest, but also the most accurate. You can complicate the competition (depending on the age of the children) by giving them toothpicks instead of spoons.

MATRYOSHKA PARADE

This is a very fun game. All participants must be placed in a circle one after the other. Each is given a scarf. In this game, each participant needs to tie a scarf to a neighbor who has his back to him. At the same time, the "matryoshka" itself should not correct anything on itself, but at the same time tie its scarf in front of the standing "matryoshka". When all participants cope with the task, then a parade of all the "matryoshkas" is held. You can hold a parallel beauty contest of “matryoshkas” and award the prize to “The Most Charming”, “The Most Sloppy”, “The Most Laughing” (that “matryoshka” that will constantly laugh at itself and others).

WHOSE PRIZE?

This game is best played last of all games. She will be remembered for a long time by all the kids and will become the most beloved. For this game, you need to prepare some prizes in advance and wrap them in colored bags. If the bags are made of white paper, then they can be painted with colored felt-tip pens and decorated with tinsel. These bags should be hung on strings and attached to a long rope.

When the presenter hangs all the bags on a rope, each participant in turn closes his eyes with a handkerchief (or scarf), puts scissors in his hands and turns around its axis with the words: “I twist and turn - I want to cut the prize.” At the last words, the leader turns the participant to face the prizes, and the participant cuts off the first bag that comes under his hands.

You can hold several competitions related to songs. Songs are best suited for the New Year and winter. "Song" competitions can be held alternately with the usual ones. Here are some contests you can offer using the songs themselves and the lines from them.

KEEP YOUR MELODY

Several people can take part in this game, but as many as the leader can observe. Each participant chooses a song for himself and begins to sing it out loud. At the same time, he should not pay attention to a neighbor who, shouting over, sings “his” song, and should not stray from the motive and words of “his” song. At the clap of the host, everyone continues to sing their song mentally. After the leader claps his hands again, everyone again begins to sing aloud, shouting over the neighbor. The facilitator carefully observes that all participants sing the motive and words correctly. The participant who has gone astray from "his" song is out of the game. The winner is the one who sang his song to the end, never getting lost. As a prize, he can be offered to sing a verse of his favorite song that he sang, but without any interference.

LOST WORDS

For this game, you need to prepare leaflets in advance (you can take landscape ones). On each piece of paper you need to write 1-2 lines from some New Year's songs. There should be as many leaves as there are participants in this game.

The facilitator lays out the leaves on the floor with lines down. When the game starts, the participants take the pieces of paper, read the lines on them. This game is best played with those participants who already know how to read. They need to find players with the words from the same song. Those participants who find each other faster than others will win.

SONG TURNED UP

The host begins to sing a song (preferably some well-known, New Year's one). But the words from one song are sung to the motive of another song (For example: the words from the song “A Christmas Tree Was Born in the Forest” are sung to the motive of the song “Little Christmas Tree”). The participant who guesses which song was taken as the basis for the performance will win. The winner can become the host and mix up the next song himself. It will be more incomprehensible if there are two presenters and they will perform the proposed songs in a duet.

We always look forward to the New Year with great impatience, because this is a favorite holiday for both adults and children. Each family carefully prepares for it: they develop a menu, plan guests, buy outfits, think over the course of the event so that it does not turn into a simple overeating. New Year's table games for adults are the best option for those who have invited guests and want to have fun. If you yourself are embarrassed to act as a leader, it can also be determined at the table. Therefore, boldly and without hesitation, we appoint the most active of the guests as the person in charge of adult games. Well, preparing them will not be any problem.

New Year's games for a small company

Table funny contests for the New Year holiday are easy to find, the main thing is to be able to adapt them to your company. If it is small, then entertainment should be selected accordingly.

drove

You will need radio-controlled cars, two of them. Two contestants prepare cars and a “track” to any point in the room, put a shot of vodka on their cars. Then, gently, without splashing, they try to roll it to their destination, where they can drink it. The game can be continued by bringing also a snack. You can also make it in the form of a relay race, for this you will have to split into teams, the first one must bring it to the point and back, pass the baton to another neighbor, the last player drinks a glass or what is left in it.

Cheerful artist

The host thinks something to the first player, he gets into a pose that characterizes what they have thought of without voicing it. For example: a person screwing a lamp. In turn, each participant must adapt to the previous one so that a picture emerges. The latter stands up like an artist with a brush and an easel for painting. He is also trying to tell what exactly he “depicted”. Then, everyone talks about their posture.

"I never" (or "I never")

This is a joke confession. Each of the guests invited to the corporate party begins to confess with the phrase: "I never ...". For example: "I never drank tequila." But the answers should go up. That is, those who have already confessed to trifles should continue to talk about something deeper. Table confessions can be very funny, the main thing is not to get carried away, otherwise you can give out the most secret secrets.

Board games for a large fun company of adults

If a large party has gathered to celebrate the New Year, it is best to hold group, team.

let's drink

The company is divided into two groups and stands in a row opposite each other. Each has a disposable glass of wine in their hands (it is better not to take champagne and strong drinks, as you can choke). Place the glasses in everyone's right hand. On command, they must drink their neighbor in turn: first, the last person drinks the penultimate one, the next one, and so on. As soon as the first has received his dose, he runs to the last and treats him. Whoever finishes first will be the winner.

"Hostess"

A merry New Year's holiday is sure to have a lot of decorations. The company is divided into two halves, they are given a box of the same size. Also, each team receives a certain number of different things: Christmas decorations, candy wrappers, sweets, napkins, souvenirs, etc. It is necessary for a while and carefully put everything in the boxes, so that they close evenly without bulges. After a certain amount of alcohol, this is not so easy to do.

Which team will put things neater and faster, that one will be the winner. Quality should not suffer, if so, a vote should be organized from people not participating in the competition.

"Tumbleweed"

Guests at the New Year's table are divided equally and sit on chairs opposite each other. An apple is placed on the first player's lap, they must roll the apple over the lap from the first player to the last player without hands. If the fruit falls, the group has lost, but they can redeem themselves by picking it up without hands and returning it to the very beginning.

"Drinkers"

This will be a relay. We install two stools, on the stools there are plastic glasses with an alcoholic drink. There should be as many as there are players. We divide the guests in half, it is possible by gender, and put one after the other, in front of each stool at some distance from it. Everyone's hands are behind their backs. Next to them we place a trash can. One by one, they run up to the chair, drink any of the glasses without hands, then run back, throwing the empty container into the trash and return to the tail of the queue. Only then can the next person run.

Games at the table for the New Year's corporate party

The entertainment program can also be of the table type. Such a scenario is selected for a more shy group of people.

merry singers

For this game, you should prepare cards in advance with any words related to the holiday, alcohol, New Year's heroes, etc. For example: Christmas tree, Snow Maiden, snow, vodka, wine, sparks, candles, frost, Santa Claus, gifts. Then a presenter is selected who will appoint a player, pull out a card and voice the word itself. The selected person must sing a verse or chorus featuring that word in the song. No more than 10 seconds are given for reflection. This game can also be played by splitting into teams, the result will be a greater number of songs performed.

Rhyme

All guests at the table stand in a circle. The leader has cards with the words "uh", "ah", "eh" and "oh". The player draws a card, and the rest make a wish to him. For example, he drew out: "oh." The team says "Hug three" or "Kiss three" or "Catch three". Here is an example of several wishes:

"Walk on your hands";
"stand on your hands";
“share the news”;
"dance with guests";
"sing in front of guests";

“Say compliments to everyone out loud”;
"shout that you are a burdock";
“kiss of two at once”;
"crawl between the legs of two";
"tell your desires out loud";
"recognize two with closed eyes";

"make everyone laugh";
"hug everyone";
"get everyone drunk";
"feed everyone."

Cool answers can be invented indefinitely, the main thing is that the rhyme is observed.

Tell me about the owner(s)

Everything is very simple here. Prepare questions in advance for guests, such as:

If it's a pair, then:

  • Where did these people meet?
  • How many years have they lived together?
  • "Favorite vacation spot"

wishes

The first participant is given a pen and a piece of paper. He writes briefly his great desire: "I want that ...". The rest enter only adjectives like: let it be fluffy, it should be iron, or just smelly, meaningless, and so on.

Quite adult, funny and cool entertainment

Adult games at the New Year's table are not suitable for every company - this should be taken into account. But after a certain amount of time, you can try to offer them something from the repertoire below and further navigate the situation. Answers can be both serious and funny.

Christmas tree

For the competition, you need to stock up on Christmas tree decorations (preferably those that do not break) and clothespins. First, attach all the toys by strings to clothespins. Several couples of the opposite sex are called, the men are blindfolded, for a certain period of time they must hook as many toys as possible on women's clothes. The game can be “diluted” by changing pairs and removing clothespins from other women. You can also change their roles - women will dress up men. And do not forget to evaluate each Christmas tree, because the one who has the most elegant one will win, and only then, to the stormy applause of the company, remove the toys.

Fairy tale

Any short fairy tale is taken in, All participants of the New Year's table become in a circle, leaving the center free. An author is appointed who reads a fairy tale, for example, "The Three Little Pigs", it is not very short, but can easily be reduced to a page. Then everyone, in a circle, chooses a role for himself. And not only animated characters, but also natural phenomena or objects. Tree, grass, even the phrase "they lived - were" can be beaten.

The story begins: Once upon a time - there were (went or went "lived - were") three piglets (piglets went). The sun was shining in the sky (the sky is shining, holding the sun in its arms). The piglets lay on the grass (there was “grass”, or rather three grasses, piglets fell on it), etc. If there are few people, the released heroes in the form of grass can take on the following roles to continue the game.

You can play not only a fairy tale, but also a song or a poem, or you can come up with your own funny stories.

sweet tooth

Several couples of the opposite sex are selected for the game. Men are blindfolded, women are placed on pre-prepared tables or chairs (sports mats). Napkins are placed over their body, on which chocolates without wrappers are left. Then a man is brought up to them, and he must find all the sweets without hands (respectively, without eyes). It is not necessary to eat them. To avoid embarrassment, it is best to call spouses or a real couple. But adults, especially at the New Year's table, with a good sense of humor, which is seasoned with a glass of champagne, usually have no problems.

Eat a banana

Several pairs are called. Men sit on chairs, pinch a banana between their knees, women approach their couples and, hiding their hands behind their backs, must peel and eat it. Adults are given a certain amount of time for the procedure. Cucumbers can also be used instead of bananas.

Finally

New Year's games for a fun company should be prepared in advance. Especially if there will be a lot of guests and among them there will be unfamiliar people about whom you need to learn as much as possible. Entertainment competitions at the New Year's table for adults are diluted with dancing or singing karaoke for a change.

Table games 2020 can be held both for interest and for incentive prizes. If you choose team adult games, then the counting of votes is done for each group. If the participants compete alone, reward them with chips, and then the prize goes to the winner by counting the chips. The rest at the New Year's table for adults will be content with comforting gifts.

During the game, Santa Claus unties the bow and takes the bag out of the bag, holds an auction for each letter and gives a gift to the child who gave his answer last - the gifts begin with the corresponding letters. THE GAME "NEW YEAR'S REVERSERS"

Santa Claus says phrases, and the children must answer “yes” or “no” in unison, regardless of the rhyme.

You, friends, came here to have fun? ..
Tell me a secret: Were you waiting for Grandpa? ..
Frost, cold Will they be able to scare you? ..
Are you sometimes ready to dance by the Christmas tree? ..
A holiday is nonsense, Let's get bored better? ..
Santa Claus brought sweets, will you eat them? ..
Are you always ready to play with the Snow Maiden? ..
Let's push everyone around without difficulty? Certainly...
Grandfather never melts - Do you believe in this? ..
Do you need to sing a couplet at the Christmas tree? Do you need to dance? ..

The most anticipated, most magical holiday is approaching - the New Year. And especially strongly, with the greatest impatience, of course, children are waiting for him. After all, it is to them that the whole miracle of the New Year's fairy tale is most fully revealed. And the task of adults is to create this fairy tale for their children.

But to create a fairy tale is not only to decorate a Christmas tree, buy gifts and prepare a costume for a child. It is also necessary to make the New Year's Eve truly unforgettable, fun and funny.

And for this, various games, tricks, tasks and competitions for children for the new year are the best fit.

Contests for kids

The knowledge, experience and skills of young children are limited. They still read poorly, or even they don’t know how to do it at all, their coordination and motor skills are less developed, but there is a desire to have fun, fool around and move around.

Given these conditions, it is worth choosing competitions for the new year for children of preschool and primary school age.

Choice of Father Frost and Snow Maiden

To begin with, you can offer a simple, unpretentious, but at the same time very funny lottery contest: the choice of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. Prepare small pieces of paper in advance, it can be in the form of snowflakes. Their number must match the number of guests at the party. On one of them write "Santa Claus", on the second "Snow Maiden". The rest can be left blank, or you can sign the names of other New Year's characters: a snowman, snowflakes, bunnies.

Carefully fold the finished pieces of paper and throw them into a small container from which it will be convenient to get them. It can be a hat or a hat, a box, a beautiful jar or a dish. Little guests should pull out these pieces of paper one by one and see who got what role.

Be sure to prepare props for the two lucky ones who will pull out those same pieces of paper. Since both children and adults will participate in this distinction, you should not prepare fur coats or dresses. You risk not guessing with the size. Let it be hats of the appropriate colors, masks, belts ... In general, something that will be convenient for both an adult and a child. To enhance the effect, the winners can be asked to dance together.

Symbol of the year

Next, you can arrange a competition for the best symbol of the year. 2015 is the year of the goat or sheep according to the Eastern calendar, as you like. Let the guests compete to see who best shows one of these animals. If the kids find it difficult to repeat the movements of animals, and what with a goat, what with a sheep is, indeed, difficult, let them bleat or mumble. The presenter will only have to choose the best one and give him a bell.

Under the chiming clock

What is the new year without a Christmas tree? And which of the children does not like to decorate the green beauty? And if you do it for speed ... So, divide the players into two teams, and let each team choose among the participants who will be the Christmas tree.

You should have various unbreakable decorations. It can be sweets, rain, tinsel, paper garlands, snowflakes and much more that your imagination tells you. For the convenience of attaching decorations to the "Christmas tree", provide the contestants with clothespins. Find a chiming clock or other one-minute soundtrack in advance. Chimes or music will measure the time for the competition. Which team will get a more fun, original Christmas tree, that one won.

Grab it

Remember the good old chair game? You can upgrade it a bit for New Year's Eve. Place a stool or a small table in the center of the hall, and place New Year's masks, glasses and other accessories and decorations on it. Decorations should be one less than the participants. Otherwise, the rules are the same: music sounds, and children dance, play, run around the table. As soon as the music ends, the kids grab the mask or decoration from the table and put it on. The one left without an accessory is out, the game continues.

Neighbor is better

An interesting variation of a round dance for kids. Children stand around the Christmas tree, and the host asks the question: “Where are your pens?” Children show. Then the facilitator asks: “Are they good?”, The children say that they are good. Then the host asks: “And the neighbor?”. “But the neighbor’s is better,” the children answer, grab the neighbor’s hands and begin to dance. Then the game is repeated with another part of the body: nose, ears, legs ...

Choosing a Christmas tree

Another great competition for kids is choosing a Christmas tree. The Christmas trees will be children, and one of the adults will play Santa Claus. First, Santa Claus with children will show what Christmas trees are. And they are high (hands rise up, the child stands on tiptoe), low (hands are as low as possible, the child squats down), wide (hands spread apart) and narrow (hands come close, close).

Then Santa Claus begins to walk among the "Christmas trees" and say which Christmas tree is in front of him, showing with his hands. For example: "How high is this Christmas tree." And the child, whom the adult points to, must show what kind of Christmas tree Santa Claus saw. When the children get used to it a little, the adult begins to confuse them: he says one thing, and shows another with his hands. Whoever makes a mistake, repeats the movement, instead of listening, he is out.

Competitions for older children

Competitions for the new year for older children open up much more room for imagination. But they also require a more serious approach. Such children are more difficult to captivate. Much of what delights toddlers will seem uninteresting to middle school children.

What's in the black box

Everyone loves gifts, surprises too. Therefore, a surprise prize will certainly captivate children. Take a box, for example, from under shoes, and put a valuable item in it. Place this box in the center of the room and invite the children to guess what is in it. The winner will receive the content as a gift. Children may ask questions to which you only have to answer "yes" or "no".

Letters and words

This competition can be held in two versions. First: put a piece of paper with a letter under the plate for each guest. Each of them must name as many New Year's words starting with this letter as possible. It can be New Year's heroes, dishes from the New Year's table, New Year's attributes, and in general everything that is somehow associated with this holiday.

And you can make words from letters on a piece of paper. The bigger, the better.

Attract a gift

You will need two boxes and some prize items. A ribbon or rope is attached to the box, its second end is attached to a pencil so that the ribbon or rope can be wound, pulling the box towards you.

Prizes are stolen into the box, pencils are given to the participants and the host gives a start. Whoever draws the box to himself first, he will receive a prize from it.

This competition is especially fun if a child and an adult compete. In this case, prizes in boxes can have different weights: something light for a child, on the contrary, heavy for an adult.

Making a snowman

The task of the contestants is to mold a snowman from plasticine. At first glance, the competition is very simple. But it was not there. There are two people to sculpt, sitting at the table embracing. The bottom line is that one participant can use only the right hand, the second - only the left. Plasticine before the competition needs to be kneaded, softened.

cut the prize

Pretty simple but fun game. Prizes are hung on strings at different heights. Participants are blindfolded and given scissors in their hands. Their task is to cut off the prize they like (well, or at least some).

As a complication of the task, you can offer to give a rope with a prize into the hands of a person. In this case, the height of the prize will not be fixed; after blindfolding, the hand with the thread can be raised or lowered.

new year character

Prepare cards in advance on which the names of the New Year's characters are written. The contestants take these cards one by one and try to show the rest of the character that they got. You can show gestures, pantomime, facial expressions. And here you can't talk about it. The audience must guess which character is meant. The guesser draws the next card.

Guess

Another contest about New Year's heroes. This time, cards with the names of the heroes are hung on the backs of the participants. So that no one could read their plate, but saw other people's plates. The task is to guess which character you got. You can ask other participants questions that can be answered "yes" or "no".

Photoprobes

The word "casting" today is familiar, perhaps, even to small children. So why not arrange photo tests for the role of the most formidable Goblin or the most greedy Santa Claus at the New Year's Eve?

And you will need not so much for this: a person with a camera, guests who want to have fun and minimal props that allow you to successfully complement the image that the contestant is trying to embody.

Obstacle dance

This contest will require a rope and a spacious room. All participants stand at one wall. Two people pull the rope at a height of 20 centimeters. Turn on the music and the participants begin to dance towards the opposite wall. Naturally, stepping over an obstacle.

At the next stage, the guests dance in the opposite direction, but the rope rises 10 cm. This continues until the participants have to jump over the rope to overcome the room. From this point on, the participants begin to drop out. The smartest one wins.

Poetic horoscope

To begin with, find out in which animal year each of the guests was born. If there are repetitions, then the guests can unite in one team, or they can participate solo. The task of each participant is to read a short poem as it would be read by the symbol of his year. It is desirable for everyone to choose one text.

If a company gathers at your house for the new year, in which there will be a large number of children, part of the evening should be devoted to them. We must try to make the holiday fun. It is good if the children are about the same age, but more often than not, the difference is very noticeable. And that means trying to please everyone.

It is desirable, of course, not just to come up with contests and arrange them in a convenient order, but to write holiday script . This will help turn the holiday into a real fairy tale, where all competitions and tasks bring the miracle closer: the appearance of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, the rescue of animals, the presentation of gifts ...

But, alas, not all parents have such talents. Therefore, it is important to at least choose the right contests and correctly distribute them in time. First of all, it is important to find out in advance the age of the children, because it will depend on which competitions will be appropriate. And the length of the program too. Kids get tired quickly, and an entertainment program for 30-40 minutes is enough for them. Older children may need more time.

Do not be afraid to involve adults in children's New Year's competitions. Sometimes it is also useful for them to remember their childhood, to fool around a bit, to have fun. Yes, and the contests in this case will be much more fun. In pair competitions, the best option would be to pair an adult and a child, especially if the child is small.

Give preference to those contests that do not require too intricate props. It is quite possible to involve the children themselves in its preparation. Have them make papier-mâché masks, decorate prize boxes, cut out snowflakes and garlands to decorate the Christmas tree.

Regardless of age, all children are very fond of Christmas costumes , and for sure they will come to the holiday in various images. So it is quite logical to end the evening by choosing the best suit. However, if we are talking about very young children, it is better to find warm words for everyone, as well as a small prize.

And for older children, the process can be a little more complicated. Let them not only put on a costume, create an image, but also protect it: at least for a short time get used to the chosen role, perform a dance, song, poetry, or tell something interesting about their character.

And finally, if you are really insecure, visit the stores dedicated to the holidays. There are probably special sets for sale for a New Year's party, which include a script, all the necessary props and a description. On each set is the number of guests and the age of the children for which the set is designed. But the best contests for children for the new year are those that loving parents came up with.
