Biography. Yulia Valeeva Yulia Aleeva

The Russian stage, like the entire world of show business, is characterized by a high level of competition. Talent alone is not enough to get on stage here. For gifted performers who do not have the opportunity to break into the arena of show business, shows like “Star Factory”, “Voice” and “People’s Artist” have been created, which are always popular with television viewers. The winner of such competitions was Yulia Valeeva.

Childhood and youth

Yulia Valeeva was born in the Republic of Udmurtia of the Russian Federation, the city of Sarapul, on June 27, 1978. The biography is silent about the girl’s parents, but it is known that she was born in a large family: Yulia has five brothers (Radion, Rustam, Alexander, Vladimir, Semyon) and two sisters.

Yulia received her secondary education at school No. 13 in the city of Sarapul, she studied excellently. Since childhood, the girl has been dancing in the Kalinka group, which worked at the Zarya Palace of Culture, at one of the Sarapul factories. After graduating from school, Yulia went to the city of Glazov (Republic of Udmurtia) to enter the pedagogical institute, the faculty of preschool education.

The girl has been interested in music since early childhood, like other children in the family; she has an ear for music and a strong voice. Perhaps this is due to the fact that Valeeva’s mother played the piano, and the children grew up listening to this music. From an early age, Julia dreamed of becoming a singer, and as an alternative she wanted to become a florist.

Having received a higher education, Valeeva got a job at the largest enterprise in the Urals - a mechanical plant, in the same Glazov. In the evenings after work, Yulia sang in restaurants in Glazov and neighboring Izhevsk. In Glazov, Valeeva, together with her sister, organized a dance group for children called “Hawk”. The team worked under the Glazov city administration.

Music

Yulia Valeeva had to participate in creative competitions many times. In 2003, Yulia decided to try her hand at the People's Artist show. To do this, the girl had to go from Glazov (where she then lived and worked) to Perm for the qualifying round. Yulia was one of the hundred winners selected from 10,000 contestants. The qualifying round was followed by a casting in Moscow, where Valeeva entered the top ten performers of the People's Artist show.

After participating in “People’s Artist,” Yulia recorded her first musical composition, “Cities,” together with the group “Bravo.”

In 2005, Yulia performed the song “Zhilka” at the international festival “Slavic Bazaar” in Belarus (Vitebsk). Fans compared her image with the French actress in her youth.

In 2006, the young singer made a second attempt to enter the arena of Russian show business and went to the fifth International Vocal Competition for Young Performers “New Wave” in Jurmala (Latvia), where she entered the top ten performers, taking sixth place.

At the blind auditions, the girl performed the song “There is little music left” and eventually ended up on Leonid Agutin’s team.

Whether this is due to the fact that the performer of the original song is Leonid’s wife or to the fact that the author of the words and music is Agutin himself is unknown. In addition to vocal abilities, during the audition, members of the jury and television viewers separately noted the image chosen by Yulia.

Yulia Valeeva stopped participating in the show “The Voice” after the quarterfinals, losing to Danil Buranov. TV viewers did not share the opinion of , who had previously saved Yulia after being eliminated from the fights, but now it was difficult to change anything. WITH MUSIC IN LIFE

Indeed, it seems that Yulia Valeeva has been singing all her life - according to her friends, even at school the girl was constantly humming something to herself.

I remember one day we were sitting in a labor lesson, and she took out a notebook with songs and began to sing quietly,” said the singer’s former classmate Maria Ageikina. “Then I was very surprised that she had arrows above the words that showed when her voice should be raised and when lowered. I then thought: “How can she read this?!”

Even then it was clear that Julia was growing up as a bright and creative person.

She lived in a large family, all the children in it were very creative, everyone sang, Maria recalls. - It was a special, friendly, fashionable family. I am sure that if not Yulia, then any of them could easily take part in any music show!

SINGING MAKE-UP MAKER

For the last few years, Yulia has been living in Moscow, working as a make-up artist on the Kultura TV channel.

When I'm putting on makeup, I often hum a song to myself. Most often this is a French song. In this regard, the nickname “Singing Make-up Artist” stuck to me,” the girl says in an interview with “First”. She kindly calls her work a “hobby.” - In fact, now I am in a period when I really want to please myself, professionally, as a singer. I would like to hear good criticism, because I think it is very useful.

At the qualifying round, I performed Leonid Agutin’s song “There is little music left.” This song is wonderful, easy. “I adore her,” says Yulia Valeeva. - But I was worried that she was not as vocal as I would like. After all, the competition is called “The Voice”. But then I relaxed and thought: “She suits me so well.” It's very important when a song suits you.

I was very nervous before the performance. But then I thought that I just need to go out, perform the song and enjoy it. So I did. Leonid Nikolaevich turned to me, and I’m very happy about it,” the girl shares.

By the way, the “Blind Auditions” stage is now coming to an end. This means that very soon we will be able to see Yulia on television again - she will take part in vocal duels. Komsomolskaya Pravda will monitor her progress.

The name of Yulia Valeeva is known to fans of television vocal projects. A few years ago she became a participant in the People's Artist show and the New Wave competition. Now the girl works on the Kultura TV channel, heads the department of stylists and makeup artists; several years ago she received another profession.

Correspondent "Moscow-Baku" talked to Yulia and found out why singer Alexander Panayotov makes videos for her, and why music is a necessity for all members of her family.

Julia, you grew up in a large family, all your brothers and sisters are involved in music. Tell us more about your creative family.

I have five brothers and two sisters, my mother. Dad, unfortunately, is no longer alive, but he is always with us! The whole family is involved in music, not just professionally, but rather, it is our family hobby. Each of us simply cannot imagine life without music. But everyone understands that you can’t really live “on music.” ( Laughs.)

The family even organized a band: there are drums, a bass guitar and a guitar. Dad was a musical man; he could play any instrument. The brothers are all guitarists, but none of them have any musical education, perhaps only the older brother went to music school and played the violin, so our whole family is geniuses.

My dear person Lada writes songs, it was she who gave me a second wind in this profession. By the way, my brother’s wife is from Baku. As a child, I often heard about this city; all kinds of delicacies were often brought from there. So far it has turned out that I have not had the opportunity to visit Baku, but it always warms my soul that I have a connection with this city through my relatives!

You manage the department of stylists and makeup artists at a large federal channel. What attracted you so much to the profession of a makeup artist?

While participating in some kind of music competition, I noticed the work of a makeup artist and thought that I needed to learn this craft. After the “New Wave of 2006”, I persistently began to comprehend this profession, studied and completed my studies to the point that I really liked everything and it became a job. At first she was just a make-up artist, and now she is the head of the department of make-up artists and stylists on the Kultura TV channel. My current job allows me to be close to talented people from the world of theater, great music, ballet, in a word, culture! ( Laughs.)

How did you decide to become a contestant again and apply for the most popular music show in Russia?

Any competition is a good motivation; it helps to organize some things, become more collected, and be ready for any turn of events. I have a friend who talked me into this adventure, ( show "The Voice"- editor's note) and even said that if I didn’t send the form, he would do it for me! ( Smiling.) I thought that if there are people who believe in me, then I should try and sent an application!

You became friends with the famous singer Alexander Panayotov during the “People’s Artist” project. Many people don’t know, but Alexander made a video for you. Tell us about this work.

Once we met Sasha in a cafe, I let him listen to the song “The Cities Are Passing Away”, he immediately offered to film something with it. We didn’t have a clear script, well-thought-out locations, or cameramen—it was all the work of Sasha and me. We know each other very well, and this played a big role. He offered his ideas, I offered mine, and in the end we managed to convey the mood of the song. At the Timiryazev Academy we found a greenhouse that was illuminated and gave beautiful light. I thought that we could get by with such unintentional accidents. Sasha edited the video in literally two days; in my opinion, this is a touching work that I really liked.

It was unexpected, since I always thought that as a singer I was not Dima’s type. I'm not fashionable, I don't adhere to certain musical canons, and so on. I reviewed a lot and realized that Dima has changed over the year, his work has changed.

- What are Dima’s ambitions for the current season of the show?

What Lenya ( Leonid Agutin- editor's note) that Dima, they understand, is already in its sixth season, hundreds of songs have been covered, there were “a million” participants. Dima is looking for works that will touch viewers. A new stage is ahead, the song that Dima chose for me, I’ll be honest, at first it didn’t resonate with me internally. Some time passed, he insisted, and I agreed to fulfill it.

Dima gave me the opportunity to try something new, I liked it and inside I moved up a notch. I went to the show to like myself. And with each stage this feeling only grows! ( Smiles.)
