Men's knitted gloves with harnesses from designer Jane Burns are a stylish and practical accessory, and also a great gift for any man. Warm and voluminous, they will warm your hands and perfectly complement your casual style! Such an accessory is to the liking of both teenagers and modern men, and knitted in bright or, on the contrary, gentle, pastel colors, it will suit you too. Our today's lesson, supplemented with diagrams and descriptions, will help you knit fingerless gloves with knitting needles, even if you are a completely novice needlewoman! So, we stock up on skeins of yarn, knitting needles - we proceed.

We offer you three sizes: S, M, L.
In accordance with them, the volume of a man's palm should be 20.5 (21, 22) cm. But the finished men's mitts will be with a volume, respectively, of 20 (21.5, 22.75) cm.

The length of the finished product will be 21 cm.

For work we need:

  • threads (75% wool, 25% polyamide; 400 m per 150 grams) - 1 skein;
  • knitting needles No. 3.25;
  • add. sp.;
  • loop marks;
  • aux. thread.

The knitting density is 28 p. x 36 p. = 10 cm front surface.

Take a look at the diagram below:

Description of work

We start knitting from the left.
We collect 56 (60, 64) loops with stocking needles, using the method of dialing pet. with a long tip. We place the mark at the beginning of the row and connect the pet. into the ring.

Cuff

Actual for sizes S and L:
1 cr. R.: * 2 i. p., 2 l. n., from * to * to the tip of the river.

For size M:
1 cr. R.: 1. n., * 2 and. p., 2 l. p., from * to * to the last three loops, then 2 and. p. and 1 l. P.
Now for all the sizes we have proposed, we repeat the first circular p. until reaching a height of 8 cm.**
Now we proceed to the palm:

We work with knitting needles further according to the scheme for the left mitt.
1 cr. R.: 8 (9, 10) l. p., 1st row according to the figure for the left fingerless glove, then l. n. to the tip of the river ..
2 cr. R.: 8 (9, 10) l. p., 2nd p. according to the drawing, l. n. to the tip of the river ..
3 cr. R.: put a mark, add 1 p. from the prot., put a mark, 8 (9, 10) l. n., then the next r. from the scheme for the left glove without fingers, l. n. dr tip of the river. As a result, on our sp. there will be, respectively, 57 (61, 65) p ..
4 cr. r .: put a mark, l. n. to the mark, again met., 8 (9, 10) l. p. and the next p. from the pattern, l. n. to the tip of the river.
5 cr. p.: put met., add 1 p. from prot., l. p. to met., add again 1 p. from prot., put met., 8 (9, 10) l. etc., then you need to connect the trace. R. according to the scheme for the left glove without fingers, l. p. to the tip of the river, we end up with 59 (63, 67) p..

We proceed to the next row: remove all markers, transfer 17 (17, 19) p. to the auxiliary thread (we need them in order to make a thumb later), then 8 (9, 10) l. n. and another row from the diagram, then l. n. to the tip of the river. As a result, we get 56 (60, 64) p..

We continue to knit to the tip of the rapport. If you need to slightly increase the length of the product in the palm area, repeat the 42nd row of the pattern.

Upper cuff

For S and L:
1 cr. R.: * 2 i. p., 2 l. p., from * to the end of the river..

For M:
1 cr. R.: 1 l. n., * 2 and. p., 2 l. p., from * to the last 3 p., then 2 and. p., 1 l. P..
Next, for all sizes, repeat 1 cr. R. 4 more times and close the loops.

Now let's move on to the thumb.

Evenly transfer 17 (17, 19) p. threads for 3 sp.
1 cr. p .: we attach the thread to the faces. side, then you need to knit all the stitches of faces., then we collect 3 stitches, now you need to knit these 3 stitches along the open edge and close the loops into a ring. We have 20 (20, 22) p..
Further - l. p. 4 (5, 6) cr. R..
Let's start with the rubber band of the thumb.
1-5 cr. rr. *1 l. n., 1 i. p., from * to the end of the row.

Right mitt

We will knit it in the same way as the left one to **.

Palm

1 cr. R.: 8 (9, 10) l. p., 1st p. pattern for the right fingerless glove, then l. n. to the end of the r ..
2 cr. R.: 8 (9, 10) l. p., 2nd p. according to the drawing, l. n. to the end of the r ..
3 cr. R.: 8, (9, 10) l. p., next p. from the scheme, 8 (9.10) l. p., mrk., add 1 p. from prot., put a marker, l. n. to the end of the river. = 57 (61, 65) p..
4 cr. R.: 8, (9, 10) l. p., sl. R. pattern, 8, (9, 10) f. p., label, l. p. to met., label, l. n. to the end of the river.
5 cr. R.: 8, (9, 10) l. p., sl. R. pattern for the right fingerless glove, 8, (9, 10) sh. p., marker, add 1 p. from prot., l. n. to the marker, add 1 l. n. from prot., marker, l. n. to the end of the river. = 59 (63, 67) p..
We continue to knit the pattern with knitting needles, adding loops once in two p. for the wedge of the thumb as in 5 p., until we get between the marks 17 (17, 19) p ..
New river: 8 (9, 10) l. p., another p. from the scheme, 8 (9, 10) l. p., 17 (17, 19) p. thread, remove marks, l. n. to the end of the river. = 56 (60, 64) loops.

We continue to work with knitting needles until we completely knit the rapport of the pattern. If you need to increase the length of the palm, repeat the required number of times 42 p. pattern.

The top cuff and thumb should be knitted in the same way as with the left glove. At the end we fill the threads inward and fasten.

Men's stylish knitted designer gloves are ready! You can use them as a gift for the New Year and Christmas holidays, because such an accessory will always be in fashion and, accordingly, relevant.

Description

Starting with fingers

For the average index, ring fingers and little finger, dial 6 loops, distributing on 3 knitting needles, close in a circle and knit 1 row with facial loops.

Note. We knit the thumb a little later, see the description below

In the next round from each loop, perform 1 back side addition = 12 loops.

Knit each subsequent round until you reach the desired finger length.

T now be sure to try on the finger on the handle of your baby (he should dress freely), maybe for you you need to increase the width of the finger from 12 loops to, for example, 14-16 loops

Here are the finger sizes for future gloves that I knitted for my daughter in size 13cm

Each time when a single finger reaches the desired length, cut off the thread and remove it to the side for the time being.

We knit the little finger last and we don’t break the thread anymore, but we collect our fingers, see below

!Moreover, I sew up the resulting hole at the beginning of our finger immediately with the end of the thread, which remained when looping. So much more convenient, because. the extra end does not interfere and you can measure our finger.

Now we distribute the loops of each finger on the knitting needles so that we get two fingers on each pair of knitting needles, in total 4 knitting needles. The end / beginning of the row we get on the little finger.

Palm and back of hand

Now, we knit over all the existing loops in the following way (not as difficult as it might seem):
Using the first needle, start at the little finger, while knitting the last 2 loops together with the front one, then knit the first 2 loops at the ring finger 2 loops together in the way of throwing .
In the same way, knit the loops of the middle finger on the second needle. Then, at the index finger, knit the first 2 loops together transfer method .

Now we knit the second half of the loops of the fingers:
Knit the loops of the index finger on the 3rd knitting needle, while knitting the last 2 loops together with the front one. Then work on the middle finger in the same way as on the first half of the ring and middle fingers.

!If it is even simpler, I will say this: we knit a finger-at the end of the last 2nd loops together; then the first two loops of the next finger-two together in the way of a flip. Further also to the end of the row!

Then we knit an elastic band of the length you need. I made a double
With the ends of the threads with which the fingers were knitted, close the jumpers of the fingers, hide the ends of the thread.

The left glove is knitted in the same way, exactly the opposite.

Wash, dry and steam the gloves carefully so that our ends of the threads are well fixed and have not gone anywhere.

It's a tedious job that requires a lot of attention. It has its own characteristics that are not immediately given to inexperienced needlewomen. But, if you already had to knit gloves, then you can easily cope with this model. It is taken from the latest Drops Design collection.

She is very smart and elegant, it is not for nothing that she was given the motto "Parisian". The relief pattern with openwork elements covers the entire back side, the fingers are highlighted with viscous, the elastic band is organically woven into the main pattern.

They are represented by two schemes with the same horizontal rapport - 17 loops (pt). Vertical rapport (wrap) is different for them:
- wrap (A.1) = 5 rows;
- wrap (A.2) = 10 rows.
Pattern A.1 is connected with an elastic band, and A.2 shows the main pattern.

The description gives the only option, this is the size of an average female hand.

For work, the authors recommend choosing Drops Nepal (50 g / 75 m), mixed wool yarn from alpaca (35%) and sheep wool (65%). It is soft, silky to the touch, its thread of medium thickness is spun from three threads, the loops from it are obtained with a claim to rusticity, and the pattern is stable. It is easy to work with this yarn, and it is necessary to knit it with stocking needles, 4½ mm and 3½ mm.

We will knit samples of 10 x 10 cm on both types of knitting needles with front stitch (lc / hl):
- 3½ mm - 27 rows of 20 sts;
- 4½ mm - 23 rows of 18 sts.

Knit gloves for women

We will work in a circle (krg). First we knit the left glove, and then, by analogy with it, the right one, symmetrically.

Glove left
Cast on 38 sts on 3½ mm needles and immediately start rib knitting.
Sl.crg:
- 3 izpt (purl pt);
- 17 pt according to diagram A.1;
- 3 izpt; 3 lcpt (facial pt) *; repeat *-* 2 more times.

After 10 cm, we will start adding fri, forming a wedge of the thumb.
It is necessary to add 1 pt, yarn over on both sides, starting from the last pt of the circle. Subsequently, the crg yarn is knitted crossed.

After the first krg with additions, we make the same one 4 more times, after 1 krg, and we will end up with 48 pts.
After passing 15 cm from the edge, set aside 11 pt for the thumb, transferring them to the waste thread. Instead of these pts, he will pick up 1 new one and get 38 pts.

Having passed from the edge of 17 cm, in the next round we divide the glove into parts:
- 17 pt, the first in the krg, refer to the upper part, the back, they are put aside for additional / cn;
- we knit 9 pts, they will have a little finger;
- 12 pts refer to the lower part of the glove, the inner one, they are put aside for the second additional / cn.

Little finger
It is formed from 9 pt + 1 pt, a new one, which we type from the side of the finger of the next - ring finger.
We knit according to the pattern, we perform a new pt. So we pass 6 cm, after which we knit all pts 2 together ltspt. There are 5 sts left, fasten them on the knitting needles.

Palm
We transfer the postponed pts to the knitting needles 4½ mm, next to the little finger we raise another 2 pts, new ones = 31 pts. We knit 2 rounds on them. Then we set aside Fri, leaving on the knitting needles for work:
- 2 newly dialed pt + 5 pt from the back side + 4 pt from the inside = 11 pt.

ring finger
To the existing 11 pts, add another, new one, typing it from the side of the next finger, the middle one. We get 12 pt.
We knit on them in a circle 7½ cm lc / ch, after which we knit all pts 2 together lcpt. 6 sts remain, fasten them on the knitting needles.

middle finger
For him, we transfer to work:
- 5 pt from the back +
+ 4 pt with inner +
+ raise 2 pt from the side of the ring finger +
+ we collect 1 pt new from the side of the finger of the next, index finger = 12 pt.
We knit on them in a circle 8½ cm lc / ch, after which we knit all pts 2 together lcpt. 6 sts remain, fasten them on the knitting needles.

Hi all!
I continue to promote Knitting mittens in this way, because it is a comfortable finger, especially for children in a sock, and it is convenient to knit.
This is the easy way. Having knitted a pair of triple mittens in this way, you will be surprised that at first it seemed difficult.

These mittens are knitted from multi-sized yarn with the addition of mohair. They asked me to make an MK for such a thickness. Therefore, they are "not very".

I made a master class for children's mittens and for adults. She placed a calculation table for any size from 20 loops of a dial-up row to 60 loops.
MK paid. Detailed. Write, ask.

Beginning of the table. The whole table is in the master class.

What determines the number of loops? From the size of the brush, from the thickness of the yarn. From the number of spokes
What determines the height of the wedge (the width of the initial number of loops for the thumb)? From the width of the palm. My husband's hand is wide, but short, not musical fingers, which means ... You will understand this when you start knitting.

How to calculate how many loops to cast on mittens? As usual. As always, you knitted mittens, you already own these skills. But I'll still remind you. For a medium yarn for a medium female handle, this is 44 loops. For men's - this is 48 loops. For a child, it depends on age, from 20 to 40.
So, you have decided on the yarn, (I knit lana gold mittens 800m/100g with the addition of thin mohair (it comes with the addition of acrylic, or angora), about 500m/100g.)
We decided on the number of loops for mittens. Look at the table and distribute the loops on 4 knitting needles, mark the beginning of the circular row with a marker, this is the beginning of the 1st knitting needle, there may not be an even number of loops on each knitting needle, but on the palm and back it should be the same, mark with a marker and middle of the circle. As soon as we went beyond the marker, then we switched to the back of the mitten.

The table will tell you how many loops in the palm you will knit for the finger, how many loops you will start knitting the wedge, i.e. the future palm, how many loops the thumb will consist of, how many loops to dial on the jumper of the 2nd and 3rd knitting needles. This is the junction of the circular row after removing the loops of the finger on an additional thread (connection of the 2nd and 3rd knitting needles).

Then knit with additions as many rows as in the initial number of loops for the thumb. For example, if there are 10 thumb sts initially (no jumper), this will be 10 rows. Thus, as many loops as rows will be added to the wedge (palm).

After that, remove the loops of the finger on an additional thread and connect the remaining loops on the knitting needles into a circle.
Then knit the mitten as usual, according to your length measurements.
Move on to the finger. On the jumper, according to the table, you collect loops with a hook without a thread, from what you have so that there are no holes, do not go deep into the mitten, it should be beautiful and imperceptible. Slip loops from thread onto needles. Knit a finger along your length.
