Eternal flame from origami modules scheme. How to make an eternal flame with your own hands. DIY "Eternal Flame" from paper: how to make an applique

You might also find this master class or video tutorial useful for crafts. origami from modules Eternal Flame for May 9. It’s all here, a beautiful star and fire, without anything, the monument. The Eternal Flame is not a monument.

We stock up on colorful paper and rubbing paper. Ogrigami is a complex technique and making an origami Eternal Flame with your own hands is not an easy task. But how nice it is to give such a masterpiece for the holiday of May 9!

You can try the method below to make an Eternal Flame.

Or you can make such an origami Eternal Flame craft according to the diagram.

    Take 105 yellow triangular modules,

    60 orange triangular modules.

    35 red triangular modules.

The modules must be the size of 1/32 of a landscape sheet; the color of the star can be one color.

Two rows of orange modules. There are only 30 modules in one row, the chain of modules closes into a ring.

Let's start assembling the first ray of the star.

There are 6 yellow modules in the first row.

There are 5 yellow modules in the second row.

In the third row there are 4 yellow ones and in each subsequent circle there is 1 less module. At the end there should be one module left.

Collect 4 more rays for a full star.

    Fire assembly.

Only three rows. Each row has 9 red modules.

The assembled three rows must be turned out so that the star faces us with the short sides of the modules.

Tie or glue the modules so that they do not fall apart. After complete drying, add eight modules in places so that they look like tongues of flame.

    Origami Eternal Flame assembled.

Using the modular origami technique, you can make any crafts with your own hands. In this technique, the finished product is assembled from separate paper blanks - modules, which are placed one on top of the other.

To assemble an eternal flame craft from modules, you must first prepare the modules and find an assembly diagram, then start assembling.

To make an eternal flame you need to show the star, as well as the fire.

Let's make an eternal flame craft from origami modules:

For this craft you need white, yellow and blue modules of 25, 25 and 75 pieces, respectively.

    First, let's make the modules:

Let's look at the assembly technique step by step:

Add each color one at a time:

Then you need to fasten the outer modules together to create a ring:

We continue the assembly, making rays.

1st row - blue module plus three red plus blue module (together five modules), 2nd row - one blue, two red, one blue (together 4), 3rd row - blue, red, blue (total 3 pieces of modules), 4th row - a pair of blue modules, 5th row - take a blue module, attach a blue module to it. We attach red modules between the beams.

The fire can be made by fastening red modules together or taking gov paper and cutting a flame out of it.

    Wonderful creativity!

But I propose to you to make such an eternal flame with tongues of flame.

Swami, we will need materials for work: 9 sheets of orange paper, 6 sheets of beige paper, 4 sheets of red paper and 5 sheets of yellow paper.

The tools we will need are: a stationery knife or scissors (at your discretion).

In total we will need 90 beige modules, 130 orange modules, 55 red modules and 70 yellow modules.

We assemble the first and second rows of our five-pointed star with 10 beige modules each. It should look like this

Let's proceed to the third row, here we need to add a total of 10 modules, for a total of 20 beige modules. On each corner of the module of the previous row we put the module of our third row in one pocket.

Our star has five rays in total. We assemble each beam separately, like this: the fourth row is only 4 modules, the fifth row is 3 modules, the sixth row is 2 modules and the seventh row is only 1 module. We make the entire beam with beige modules. It should turn out like this

We collect the remaining rays in the same way. Each process is not shown separately. But in general it should look like this:

Now we will cover each ray along the edge with orange modules. We will need 9 modules for each beam. Attention, we put on the orange modules upside down. Like this

We make another row of orange modules. We use 10 orange modules for each beam.

For the first row of fire we will need 20 red modules. Modules must be inserted with the pockets facing up.

The second row is again 20 red modules.

We cover each tongue of our flame with 7 orange modules.

All five of our flames will be of different lengths, so we will need a different number of yellow modules, and we will assemble them in different ways. For the first tongue we will need 35 yellow modules.

We make the next second tongue of flame from 8 yellow modules

The third tongue of our flame we are already making 13 yellow modules

We will have the fourth tongue of flame from 9 yellow modules

The fifth flame of 5 yellow modules.

    Our Eternal Flame is ready

The modules themselves resemble flames, so making an eternal flame out of them will be quite easy - it is important to choose colors with transitions so that the craft does not look blind, and also to strictly follow the detailed instructions that can be found on this site. Or here it is.

    I suggest you look

video on how to very easily make an eternal flame. It can easily be done by a preschooler with a little help from their parents or a junior high school student. After all, such tasks for Victory Day or Defender of the Fatherland Day are often given to children.

    And one more video

For this we need paper of different colors.

The origami technique is crafts made using paper without using scissors.

The paper folding pattern for the Eternal Flame craft is shown below.

For the base we take green paper. The fire will be multi-colored - yellow and red

The eternal flame can be made from origami modules in many variations and shapes. Before starting work, it is necessary to consider the options for finished works that have already been made by many authors with the results kindly posted in the form of photographs on the network.

All crafts consist of the following modules:

We add the resulting modules like this, in a circle:

By adding rows we get a big star:

The end result is something like this:

In addition, the finished product may look like this:

You can see and read more about how to make such an Eternal Flame in your hand, a torch, in my question on BV here.

This is an original craft made entirely from orange paper. It looks very good, in my opinion.

Another idea is to make a star out of blue paper.

But this modular origami was created by a very patient and diligent author.

And there is a very beautiful combination of colors and shades here.

Or you can make a somewhat simplified product, stylized in shape, for example like this:

If you were still at school and on vacation in the summer, you made crafts, for example, from candy wrappers (the so-called snakes), then it won’t be too difficult for you to figure out this task of making the Eternal Flame by May 9 or February 23. Remember that there are more difficult tasks. For example, you can again make a whole portrait of a Red Army soldier from origami modules.

If you want to practice first and simply draw the Eternal Flame with a simple pencil, then my following video will help you with this:

And at the end of my answer, I would like to draw your attention in more detail to how to properly make modules for origami from paper.

This is what a triangular module looks like and turns out to be:

The module can also be folded from ordinary paper:

As a result, you should get this, in different colors and in large quantities, for ease of work:

If it’s not clear, then look again carefully:

And finally, if you want to decorate the finished gift with letters and numbers, as well as a drawing, then my next video with the simplest example of a drawing, accessible in its complexity even to an inexperienced, novice artist, will help you with this.

Read more about all the ideas for cooking and preparing for the holiday in my question on BV here.

I offer a simpler option using the origami technique.

We bend the resulting triangle in half, it should look like this:

Now we insert the resulting parts into each other.

We make flowers from toothpicks and corrugated paper. If necessary, coat with glue.

We collect everything and the Eternal Flame is ready!

The eternal memory of all soldiers who became victims of the Great Patriotic War symbolizes Eternal flame.

For origami eternal flame you need yellow (105 pcs), orange (60 pcs) and red (35 pcs) triangular modules. The size of the modules is 1/32 of an A4 sheet, but larger ones can be made.

The first 2 rows are made of orange modules (30 modules in each row), assembled in a chain, connecting into a ring.

Then the first ray of the star is assembled, for which the 1st row is made of 6 yellow modules,

2nd row - from 5, with each row reducing the number by 1 module until only one remains.

The remaining 4 beams are assembled in the same way.

Now you can start assembling the fire. 3 rows are made of red modules (9 pieces per row), then these 3 rows are turned inside out so that the short sides of the modules are turned towards you.

To secure the structure, the modules can be glued together. After the glue has dried, you need to add 8 more modules selectively in a circle, forming flames.

Almost all children love to do things with their own hands. It is important to encourage such a desire, because crafts develop imagination, fine motor skills are trained during the creative process, and various skills and abilities are acquired. The article will focus on crafts made from various materials.

Any child can make crafts from various materials. The task of parents is to interest the child and provide him with everything necessary for creativity.

Paper crafts for May 9: tank, plane, carnation, star

By May 9th, a tank made of paper is perfect as a gift for grandpa or dad. Despite its fragility, such a craft is not inferior to other materials in terms of realism.

Moreover, paper requires attention and perseverance, so sometimes it can be more difficult to make a model from paper rather than from other materials.

A tank made of colored paper will not take up a lot of materials or time. You will need colored paper, a ruler, a pencil, scissors and PVA glue.

  • Make 2 rings from strips of colored paper (width - 3cm, length - 22cm). These will be tank tracks
  • Cut out a rectangle 8x14cm. Draw lines at a distance of 0.5 cm from both edges. From these lines, draw 2 more lines, retreating 3 cm to the center of the rectangle. Fold the shape along the lines
  • Make a model similar to the previous one. Take a rectangle 8X10cm and mark the lines, retreating 0.5cm and 2cm, bend
  • Make a triangular barrel

You can build a tank from materials that are found in almost every home - from toilet paper rolls (3 pcs.) or from a foil tube.

  1. Cut the foil tube into 3 equal parts or take 3 toilet paper rolls
  2. Glue them sideways or wrap them with tape
  3. Make a blank for the tower. You can paste over a box of suitable size or fold a cardboard layout
  4. Glue the base and glue strips of corrugated cardboard on the sides - caterpillars
  5. Connect the tower and the base
  6. You can make the barrel out of a juice straw, rolled paper, or even a pen.

It will take very little time to make a tank from corrugated cardboard. For this you will need: corrugated cardboard of different colors, scissors and glue.

  • Cut long strips 1cm wide
  • Twist the dark strips in a circle. Make 4 small wheels (from one strip) and 4 large ones (glue two strips together before rolling)
  • Glue 4 wheels to the green strip - 2 large and 2 small on the sides
  • Coat the strip with glue and wrap it around the wheels in several layers
  • Make a rectangular platform and glue tracks to it
Craft - tank for May 9
  • Glue dark stripes 1.5cm wide onto the base on top
  • Twist a tank turret from 4-5 strips glued together
  • Finish the details - fuel tanks and muzzle

The origami technique is much more complicated. In order to make such a tank, first understand the diagram yourself, and then explain it to your child.

  • Fold the A4 sheet in half and mark fold lines with all corners

  • Fold along the fold lines on both sides and smooth out

  • Fold the sides into the middle
  • Next, divide the sheets folded into the middle in half and bend them towards the outside

  • Bend the corners of one of the triangles to the top and turn the workpiece over

  • Divide the workpiece into three parts and along these lines, first bend the edge with curved ends, on top of the second

  • In the untouched triangle, bend the ends inward

  • Connect the corners by tucking the ends into the resulting pockets.

How to build a tank out of paper?
  • Make a barrel and insert it into the tower
  • You can decorate the resulting tank

Even the smallest designers can make an airplane out of paper and a matchbox. In addition, such a craft will take very little time.

  • From colored paper or cardboard, cut 2 strips the width of a matchbox
  • Cut a long thin strip and bend it in half, glue the edges to the matchbox
  • Make a tail from two small strips. Round one strip and insert it into the fold of the part glued to the box. Glue a second small strip on top, first folding it into a triangle
  • Round off the wide stripes and stick on top and bottom of the box

Of course, you remember the glider airplanes that flew around the classroom when you were in school. I offer you several simple diagrams on how to fold a glider plane.

Or try a more complicated scheme:

Crafts from dough and plasticine for May 9: tank, plane

Children love to sculpt with plasticine. So why not perpetuate some crafts by replacing plasticine with salt dough. You can decorate such crafts ready-made or add food coloring to the dough in advance. The recipe is quite simple:

  • Mix flour and fine salt in a 2:1 ratio
  • Dilute with water and knead until it reaches the consistency of plasticine.
  • You can add a little vegetable oil for plasticity

To connect the dough parts, use a brush moistened with water.

Important: For a longer product life, heat it in the oven at a temperature of up to 100°. It is important not to bake the work, but rather to dry it.

So, the dough or plasticine is ready, but you will also need a board (you will sculpt on it) and a knife (when working with the dough).

  • Sculpt the individual parts of the tank: 6 wheels (make a sausage and cut it), body, turret and muzzle
  • Connect the parts: attach 3 wheels to the body on the sides, a tower on top, and a barrel to it
  • Roll a thin long sausage and wrap it around the wheels to form tracks

Tank made of plasticine or salt dough for kids

You can make a larger tank by preparing the necessary parts. You can make things easier for yourself. For example, to make the tower the correct rectangular shape, take a matchbox as a base, wrapping it in plasticine. A tube or rod from the handle in the middle will give the muzzle stability.

Tank made of plasticine or salt dough

Modeling an airplane is no less exciting:

  • Sculpt the details of the hull, wings, cockpit
  • Connect the parts. For realism, you can pre-mix the parts of the body and wings with a sausage made of yellow plasticine - this will create camouflage
  • Make a propeller and stars

Another version of an airplane made from dough (you can also use plasticine)

  • Mold the body of the aircraft, bend the part slightly upward at the base
  • Make wheel and fender parts
  • Connect the parts
  • When working with dough, secure the parts additionally with toothpicks
  • Make several propeller parts, connect and attach with a toothpick

Craft eternal flame for May 9

The easiest and fastest way to make a model of an eternal flame:

  • Cut out a star from cardboard according to the template below (star for May 9)
  • Make a hole in the center
  • From corrugated paper of orange and red colors, cut out random pieces of different sizes and collect them into a bundle
  • Pass the paper through the hole in the star so that the base of the bundle is on the inside, straighten the paper. If necessary, use scissors to sharpen the edges, like flames.
  • Glue the star onto the base

You can make a composition from a toilet paper roll.

  • Wrap a cardboard roll in foil
  • Cut fire and number 9 from red corrugated paper to fit the roll
  • Insert the fire on top, stick the number in front
  • You can decorate with a St. George's ribbon cut out of paper or cut from fabric.

Crafts pigeons for May 9

Making birds of the world is not that difficult, just be patient and have the basic materials needed: paper, glue, scissors.

  • To make a voluminous dove out of paper, cut out the blank according to the template:

  • Cut the feathers along the lines
  • Make folds along the dotted lines
  • Glue the triangle near the tail to the body, placing the bird
  • Glue the head and torso
  • Make the feathers curved, carefully run scissors along them, stretching the paper. Be careful not to tear the workpiece
  • Glue the wings to the body

A toilet paper roll makes a great pigeon stand. For this craft, in addition to the roll, you will need feathers, white paper, glue and scissors

  • Wrap the roll in paper, fold the ends inward and glue
  • Cut out the body of a bird from thick white paper
  • Fold a sheet of paper like an accordion, make a cut in the middle and glue it to the body - tail
  • Glue feathers on the sides
  • Make 2 cuts in the roll opposite each other and insert the body
  • Complete the eyes with a marker

If you wish, you can decorate the craft by gluing a St. George ribbon and gluing a twig to the dove’s beak. It's very easy to do.

Cut out a twig and leaves from colored paper. It is better to use corrugated paper, it is denser and will hold its shape better.

Crafts for May 9, paper flowers

It is easier to make artificial flowers from corrugated paper. It is easy to use, and some mistakes or shortcomings typical of beginners are not so noticeable.

So, you will need: red and green corrugated paper, glue, ruler, scissors, ribbon and wire for the stem.

  • For one carnation, cut a strip of paper 45x8cm
  • Fold the edge inward 3 cm, stretch the paper a little - this will give the flower a waviness
  • Wind the resulting ribbon onto the edge of the wire, straighten the loose paper, and form a flower.
  • Secure in the middle or at the base, tied with thin wire or thread
  • Cut the bottom edge diagonally on both sides, forming an angle at the bottom.
  • Wrap the bottom edge with green paper coated with glue and continue winding down the wire

A carnation made in the following way will look very beautiful:

  • Cut 2-3 strips of red paper 2.5 cm wide
  • Cut them into even squares
  • Fold each square into quarters and cut the outer edges into a semicircle.
  • Make frequent cuts along the outer semicircular side
  • Prepare the center of the flower. To do this, wrap a little red corrugated paper around the edge of the wire and secure it with green, smoothly moving to the stem
  • String the flower blanks, squeezing each circle a little and straightening the edges
  • Wrap the wire stem with green paper coated with glue. You can cut leaves from it

I suggest you get acquainted with another way to make cloves:

  • Prepare 6 wide strips of paper and fold them together
  • Bend the sheets like an accordion and tie them in the middle with wire (it’s better to take green chenille paper, but then you can cover regular paper with green corrugated paper)
  • Use scissors to make paper into teeth
  • Fluff the flower by lifting the edges of the paper up

Carnation for Victory Day

Crafts for May 9 star

Surprisingly, making a three-dimensional five-pointed star out of paper is not that difficult.

Paper star template
  • Cut out 2 parts according to the template
  • Make folds along the dotted lines
  • Bend the wings back for gluing
  • Lubricate the wings with glue and connect the parts

What else can you make a craft from - a tank, an airplane?

The tank can be made from a variety of materials, for example, paper or plasticine. Crafting a tank from matchboxes perfectly develops imaginative thinking and fine motor skills. You will need:

  • A piece of wallpaper (colored cardboard, notebook cover - any thick paper of a suitable color)
  • Matchboxes
  • A sheet from a magazine (you can also use leftover covers)
  • Colored paper
  • Corrugated cardboard or corrugated paper
  • Bottle cap

We start making a tank with a model:

  1. Cover two matchboxes with wallpaper or green construction paper
  2. Cover one box separately - this will be the tank turret
  3. Glue the two blanks together. You should have a model of the tank
  4. Glue 2 strips of corrugated cardboard or paper on the sides - these will be caterpillars
  5. Cut out circles of wheels from colored paper and glue them on
  6. Twist a tube from a magazine sheet (or you can cut a juice tube) and attach it to the tower. It will hold better if you make a hole in the tower box
  7. Attach a bottle cap to the top

If you don’t have colored paper, you can make a tank by simply gluing the boxes together, and then decorate it.

  • You don't even need to buy materials for crafts. For example, you can make such a cute tank from sponges
  • To do this you will need 2 sponges for washing dishes, a juice straw and glue
  • Tear off the hard surface from one sponge. Cut out the tank turret and the end of the muzzle from the sponge, and use the hard surface for the wheels

You can please your dad or grandfather by congratulating them on Victory Day with sweets. And you can lay them in the shape of a tank.

An equally important symbol of Victory Day is an airplane, which is easy to make with a child, spending very little time and materials.

For example, to make very small models you will need wooden clothespins, popsicle sticks, glue and paints.

  • Very interesting airplanes are made from shampoo bottles, plastic bottle caps, electrical tape and cardboard.
  • First, wrap the bottle with electrical tapes of different colors, then glue the caps to the bottom of the bottle and cut out the missing parts (wings and tail) from cardboard.
  • The parts will stick well if you do not glue them, but make suitable slits in the bottle

You can make an airplane out of a plastic bottle. Option for kindergarten: cut out wings, a tail and a propeller from cardboard.

If you glue on the wings, then make 2 separate parts, but if you make a slot in the bottle, then it will be more convenient to prepare a whole model.

Or paste over the resulting model using the papier-mâché technique and decorate it after drying.

This option will take more time, but the result will be an airplane that looks very realistic.

Video: Craft for May 9

On May 9th? There are many craft ideas. Their main difference is only whether the work will be volumetric or flat. If in the case of a flat craft, everything is more or less clear (you can make an applique), then how to make a model of the eternal flame with your own hands so that it is voluminous? In reality, everything turns out to be simple.

How to make a model of the eternal flame with your own hands?

The model of the eternal flame must necessarily consist of a star and a flame. Large crafts also contain a pedestal, which can be decorated with appropriate symbols (for example, the years of the Great Patriotic War and the St. George ribbon) and flowers (for example, red carnations that are relevant for this occasion).

We bring to your attention a master class on how to make paper out of paper with your own hands. We will write out the instructions step by step and post photographs.

Tools and materials

To make an eternal flame from paper you will need:

  1. star pattern;
  2. cardboard (large sheets);
  3. red napkins or tissue paper;
  4. scissors or stationery knife;
  5. red or bronze paint (it is better to use gouache);
  6. brush;
  7. glue;
  8. ruler;
  9. pencil;
  10. scotch;
  11. wallpaper with a marble pattern.

When you have stocked up on materials, you can begin the master class on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands, making each detail of the craft step by step, and then combining everything into one whole.

Stage 1 - star layout

Master class on how to make a model of a star for the eternal flame with your own hands:

  1. Take a large sheet of cardboard, scissors, glue or tape, pencil, ruler, paint and brush.
  2. Place a dot in the center of the cardboard.
  3. Draw two dotted lines through the point.
  4. Draw two more dotted lines that, when intersecting, form the letter “X”. They should be half the length of the first two.
  5. Connect all vertices. You will get a star.
  6. Place a point in the center opposite each side of the star at a distance of several centimeters.
  7. Connect the vertices and the assigned points with a solid line.

As a result, you should get a figure like the one in the picture above. Cut it along solid lines.

Stage 2 - star

Master class on how to make a star for the eternal flame with your own hands:

  1. Take the star design and cut it out.
  2. Bend the star layout along the long axes inward.
  3. Flatten the layout.
  4. Bend the star layout along the short axes outward.
  5. Flatten the layout.
  6. Give the layout a three-dimensional star shape using the resulting fold lines.
  7. Connect the protruding parts together, which should serve as a support for the star. This can be done either with glue, if the protrusions overlap each other, or with tape.
  8. Turn the star over and color it red or

Stage 3 - fire

  1. Take three napkins or
  2. Draw a fire layout on one piece of paper. Its shape may be different, for example, as in the picture.
  3. Stack the paper.
  4. Cut out the outline of the fire model.
  5. Roll the resulting sheets together in layers. Each next layer should be slightly lower than the previous one.
  6. Trim off the rest at the bottom.
  7. Twist the bottom of the paper and secure it with thread or tape.

The flame for the star is ready!

Stage 4 - pedestal

Despite the fact that instructions have already been given on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands, the master class would be incomplete without mentioning how to make a pedestal. After all, it is also part of the layout. In our case, the pedestal consists of two parts: the first will stand, the other will lie. The star with the flame will be placed on the last one.

Instructions on how to make an eternal flame with your own hands - the first part of the pedestal:

  1. Take a sheet of cardboard, a pencil, a ruler and scissors.
  2. Place the sheet vertically in front of you.
  3. Draw a strip from the edge, small in width but long, covering the entire height of the sheet. You will get the first strip.
  4. Mark a distance from the line that will be equal to the width of the finished star (or will be slightly larger).
  5. By drawing this width, you will get a second stripe.
  6. Make another strip, which will be the same width as the first. Strip number 3 will come out.
  7. Draw a fourth strip, which is equal in width to the second.
  8. Make stripe #5 equal to stripes #1 and 3.
  9. Fold all 5 strips.
  10. Make a box along the folds, but without the top and bottom.
  11. Glue strips 1 and 5 together.
  12. Make small cuts on one side on the folds of the thin sides of the box.
  13. Close the box.

The first part of the pedestal is ready. It can either be painted or covered with wallpaper with a marble pattern.

The second part of the pedestal is made similarly to the first, only there are a number of features:

  • The width of the second part should be equal to the width of the first.
  • The height should be slightly larger than the first one. This is done quite simply: increase the size of the side walls.
  • The second box should be closed on both sides.

After you assemble the second part of the pedestal, decorate it with paint or wallpaper.

Stage 5 - collecting all the parts

When all the components - the flame, the star and the two parts of the pedestal - are completely dry, you can begin to assemble them.

Operating procedure:

  1. Place the second part of the pedestal on a table or other surface.
  2. Place the first part on the second, close to the edge. You can secure it with tape.
  3. Make a small hole in the center of the star. The most convenient way to do this is with a thick needle or awl.
  4. Insert the flame into the resulting hole. This must be done carefully so as not to tear the parts. To do this, you can help yourself with a needle or toothpick.
  5. Place the star in the center of the lower part of the pedestal, having previously lubricated its support with glue.
  6. Spread the flame.

The eternal flame is almost ready.

Completion of the craft "Eternal Flame"

The given master class on how to make an eternal flame out of paper with your own hands step by step also involves decorating the craft with flowers and inscriptions.

Instructions on how to make paper carnations:

  1. Take red corrugated or tissue paper in red and green colors, wire.
  2. Wrap the wire tightly with green paper, securing it at the ends with glue. The stalk is ready.
  3. Fold several sheets of red paper into a stack (three to five pieces).
  4. Fold the paper like an accordion.
  5. Wrap the stem around the middle of the accordion.
  6. Trim the edges of the accordion into a sharp shape.
  7. Gently spread out each accordion layer.
  8. Fluff the flower.

One clove is ready. Make a few more according to the given scheme.

Now you can decorate the pedestal with an inscription.

Operating procedure:

  1. Take cardboard, a ruler, a pencil, scissors and red paint with a brush.
  2. Draw two parallel straight lines on the cardboard, taking into account that the distance between them is equal to the size of the future letters and numbers.
  3. Draw the following numbers between the resulting lines, which should be the same in width: 1, 9, 4, 1, 1, 9, 4, 5, P, O, M, N, I, M, G, O, R, D , I, M, S, I.
  4. Cut out all numbers and letters.
  5. Paint the parts with red paint.
  6. Let the parts dry thoroughly.
  7. Print out an image of the order with the St. George ribbon or find such an image on postcards.
  8. Cut out the image along the outline.
  9. Glue the numbers and letters in the correct order on the pedestal (for example, as in the photo), and also place a picture of the order and the St. George ribbon.

Place the carnations next to the star. The paper craft "Eternal Flame" is ready! To prevent the craft from spoiling:

  • Place it on a flat board.
  • It is better to wipe dust from crafts not with a cloth, but with a special brush. Then the parts will not be damaged.

DIY "Eternal Flame" made from paper: master class (volume version)

This method is used to create a small sculpture-model of a monument. Work like this:

  1. On the back of the sheet prepared for the burner base, build templates of several blanks in the form of five-pointed stars of different sizes. This is done by dividing the circle using a compass.
  2. Cut out the templates you made.
  3. Glue them onto the base (stand) in layers from largest to smallest. Three elements will be enough.
  4. Cut out flat flame blanks from plain or crepe paper.
  5. Glue paper tongues to the center of the top star. Crepe paper can be slightly stretched, thus giving the workpieces a more realistic look.
  6. If desired, decorate the product with additional paper flowers, St. George's ribbon and dates.

Work is done.

How to create a 3D star

Another way is to easily make an even more impressive and realistic “eternal flame” from paper with your own hands. Templates for the star can be downloaded ready-made or built yourself.

Method one:

  1. Draw a triangle on thick cardboard measuring 16x12x7.5 cm or another one that suits you more. Cut out the workpiece.
  2. Using the prepared template, circle 10 identical parts with allowances of 0.5 - 1 cm.
  3. Cut out all the elements.
  4. Begin to connect the pieces in pairs in the form of rays, gluing the seams inward.
  5. When five parts are ready, connect them together.
  6. Trace the resulting star at the base along the contour, allowing for allowances, cut it out and glue it as a bottom to the volumetric part.

Method two:

Quilling

This technique allows you to make an original “eternal flame” craft from paper with your own hands. For children, this method is not only very exciting, but also useful, since paper rolling perfectly develops fine motor skills. In this way, you can make both a flat wall decoration or decorative elements for a postcard, as well as a three-dimensional composition. The work proceeds in the following sequence:

  1. Prepare strips of decorative paper no more than 5 mm wide for the flame details in yellow, orange, red and silver, gray or gold for the star.
  2. Wind the strips onto a toothpick or a special one and then form a suitable configuration by removing the part from the stick and slightly unwinding and bending, if necessary. For fire, teardrop-shaped blanks are better suited, and the star can also be laid out in dense, untwisted circles. Don't forget to secure the elements with glue.
  3. Assemble a composition from the created blanks by gluing the elements together. You can do this using a pre-drawn outline template in the shape of a star and flames.

Origami

This technique also allows you to make a beautiful “eternal flame” out of paper with your own hands. The photo above clearly demonstrates this. Modular origami is used here. To do this, you will need to first make many modules of different colors, and then form them into a star and fire design, starting from the center of the bottom layer to the edges of the star and up, creating the flame shape. Execution options may vary.

So, you have seen how to make an “eternal flame” out of paper with your own hands. You can perform any of the presented options both at home and in an organized group. Choose an idea that suits the age capabilities of the children. Create memorial cards, sculptures, panels as themed office decorations, as well as gifts for veterans.
