In short, we spent three days in the struggle for a basin, with a temperature and a nervous short sleep. I was also very uncomfortable that we had a guest in our house, but I couldn’t get up. The mother-in-law became more and more gloomy, hysterical notes appeared in her voice, she kept lamenting how we eat poorly and even poisoned the baby. On the fourth day, although green, we were able to assume an upright position. I was still shaking, but my conscience forced me to take my mother-in-law for a walk in the park (oh, what an effort it was worth). In the evening we sat down at the table to try to eat for the first time in 4 days. Then I decided to brighten up the awkward situation and joked that maybe the cutlets were poisoned?

What started here .. she seemed to explode, began to squeal that we were goats, that we were not paying attention to her, and she was a guest, that we were ungrateful creatures, slandered the cutlets, and further .. a stream of mud poured and poured .. in the end she issued - and no money! She cried, packed her things and left for the night, although her train was in 2 days. Phone turned off. I sat in mute shock, and my husband neighed and said - I told you!! Then it dawned on me that it was a planned performance, that she was already on her way NOT to give money. Who was this one-man theater for? For your conscience?

A week later, she called my parents and announced that I was a mercantile creature, that I got married by calculation (yes, we, mercantile creatures, are exactly what we expect - to live in a mortgage studio) and much more. Communication with her has since ceased.

What saddens me is the question - what to do with it in old age. After all, she is lonely, she managed to screw up with her only son. This story will come back to us..

I didn't care anymore, my relatives flew into our apartment like locusts. It seemed to me that there were just an unmeasured number of them. When I closed the door and turned around, there was no room for shoes on the hallway floor. All my uncles and aunts scattered around our small two-room apartment. Aunt Raya, my mother's sister, immediately went to the kitchen, took my chicken out of the marinade, washed it under cold water and simply put it to boil in a saucepan. My other aunt Nadia took out almost all the food from the refrigerator. After examining all the contents, she began to cut vegetables, waving her hand at me. "Come on, we'll handle it ourselves."

I had a severe headache, I did not yet know what I would say to my husband Semyon. The door to the toilet was closed for a long time, they went in and out in turn, but I could not catch the right moment. “Okay, I’ll be patient,” I thought. Four of my relatives have already settled in the bedroom on our matrimonial bed. The sofa and chairs in the hall were also occupied. Children played on the floor in every room. They just didn't let me into the kitchen. It remained only to observe the occupied apartment by relatives.

The key turned in the front door. My husband Semyon came in and was stunned. Full house of people. The kids run between the legs. All space is occupied. Now, together with him, we observe how this number of people move from one room to another. There was only one desire, to quickly escape from this madhouse, but it wasn’t there - it was. My aunt Raya and aunt Nadia invited everyone to the table. To be more precise, we stood around him, because there was simply no place for everyone to sit down. My husband stood aside and watched as all of our weekly supplies were destroyed in one sitting. Here my aunt Raya, as the commander-in-chief of all relatives, commanded. - Well, everything, we had a bite, it's time to pack up. I was completely at a loss, it turns out that I even forgot to ask if they had arrived for a long time. Everyone quickly gathered. And just as they arrived in a hurry, everyone left. My husband and I were left in a daze.

As it turned out, they were passing through. My house was just a stop for a snack and rest. My husband and I sat on the sofa. The doorbell rang. Did they forget something, flashed in the brain. Simon opened the door. Our invited guests stood on the threshold, as agreed without children. Everything cooked at home was eaten. I quickly came to my senses from what had happened. “So, that’s it, I need a drink,” I said. We quickly packed up and headed to the nearest cafe. The burden of the past morning quickly dissipated over a glass of wine. Music was playing loudly inside the establishment, in the next hall someone was howling under karaoke, but everything was joyful for my husband and I. Let it be better than with our relatives.
